You and your student try on new weighted outfits you design yourself. It's... heavy. Chuu Lee struggles to keep up while wearing hers, and even you are slowed down a bit by it. Still... you both push onward, and even keep up with the Gravity Chamber training. What's more, you both start to hit new heights, breaking past your previous limits. The problem is...

You end up breaking the Gravity Chamber on accident during your training.

Bulma... well, a lot of people are less than pleased by it. You're deeply apologetic. Gods, again... At the very least, you manage a useful new melee combo out of it. Focused on kicks and knee strikes, it's a 5-hit move that can do a decent amount of damage, but its main focus is on it being able to gain some distance at the end by just relying on your legs. This'll come in handy.

"You could compete too, you're plenty strong." you comment. "Plus, I bet you've learned plenty of cool tricks from Kami!"

She politely shakes her head no. "I appreciate the confidence you have in me, Maple, but it is not my way. I have learned many things, but few are really fit to such a format as this."

You even manage to play a few of the little carnival games with him. After having your fun, the two of you head down to a nice, quiet cafe, right before the rain starts up again. While some people clearly recognize the two of you, most seem too busy gossiping to really bother you both directly. You sip a cup of tea, looking out at the rainfall starting up again. "...monkey boy, what do you plan on doing after the Tournament?"

Goku shrugs. "Well, lots more training I can do. Kinda wanted to try out cooking some more too. Trip and Popo have shown me a couple things. It's the basics, but... you know. Practice makes perfect!" He then... stops for a moment, trying to find out how to phrase his next thing. "Maybe... we could go on some little adventures together, too?"

Your face goes bright red. Uh... wow. You wait a moment before replying, and decide to go with a simple "I'd like that." You wait another moment. "Goku... I've been having a bad feeling about things for a while, involving this Tournament. Can... can you promise me something?"

Before he gets a chance to respond, you both see a flash of lightning, the thunder echoing after... and then some crumbling sounds. And then a scream.

Flashbang is probably what she'd want the most from Kaguya, since while a number of his techniques are fairly useful, she might be able to see the flaws in a couple of them and know that they aren't really fit for her fighting style due to the drain they have. I believe Spirit Bits would be a fair trade for it, since I know Kaguya would like some kind of versatile technique like that (especially Amplify mode, since it's a damage booster that doesn't put him to sleep, for once). Other than that, maybe the Raio-ken if he could manage it (it isn't exactly like the Kaio-ken, so he might not explode when using it), or some things about Magic. Healing would probably interest him greatly, too. If you include current Kags, I'd bet the Fusion Dance would probably be up there too in what Maple'd want.

Kabu, I think Maple would do best with the exploding afterimages. Spirit Bits again would probably be a fair trade for it, since I don't quite see Kabu really taking the time to learn and try to understand the complicated and arcane methods necessary to produce magic. I might see her trying to learn Healing out of the practicality of it, too.

Arctus, while they'd have some interesting techniques to share, I think it'd be most beneficial to start trading the basics behind each technique instead of the skills themselves. Too Many Shots would be good, but I can kinda see them having long discussions about the nature of Magic, especially in regards to how Maple's utilized hers. Healing I could see being extremely useful to Arctus too, especially with Vegeta and Nappa under his command.

Right now I sort of have 3 competing thoughts: a son, a daughter, or twins. Your brother too might end up with the same situation for him, though I'm kind of leaning towards him ending up with just a daughter, for now, and that kid would be born before Raditz shows up. He'd want to name her Izumi.

None of this is written in stone, exactly, but they're some things I've been trying to boil down. I have several names lined up for any of the above scenarios, and would allow y'all to write in names as well.

I'm starting to feel just a bit jealous of Toriyama's ability to make shit up at the last minute and somehow get it all to work. I've spent a lot of time planning things out here...

There are a number of things I've had to plan for in regards to him. I'll throw out two of the many scenarios, for the "Vegeta survives and lives on Earth" one:

He ends up living in Mifan, and sort of takes the path Tao has, acting as a bodyguard to keep some kind of money coming in and some kind of notorious reputation or prestige up. Perhaps starts up something with Mai?

If a time traveler arrives, he might actually prefer to go to the future with them instead of staying on "your" Earth. This will depend a bit on how much he tolerates you and Acer.

Well depending on what you want to go with in terms of earliest timekeeping methods, you have the Egyptians with a 12 month system that the Romans eventually copied into the Julian calendar. Though going over to the east, I THINK the earliest Chinese calendar systems were 10 months long. Could be wrong on that one, been a while since I'd last studied East Asian history.
