There seems to be some confusion on how Force Point regen works, and this might be due to wonky wording on my part.

The strategic burning line was in reference to people waiting to burn the first of their three before a every third thread and essentially getting a free point with no consequence or down time. The timer doesn't reset every time a point is burned, it just means that the timer doesn't start until the first FP is burned. You can spend one this thread and still get another one the next thread, but that next one will be your only FP for three straight threads unless another FP regen criteria is met.
