“That is all the questions for now.” You tell Evangeline. “Since you’ve been honest so far, I’ll have you transferred to better quarters.”

“Look, it would be easier for everyone to just let me go. You wouldn’t want my father angry with you. He is very strong.” She tries to plead with you as you leave.

“Wait why did we capture her if you’re not going to do anything with her?” Ayla asks you. “Or are you trying to tell me that you like blondes better?”

Ayla morphs into a replica of the twins to continue her antics, so you ignore her and catch up on Hestia’s reports.

Completed Research

>Hell pitchforks and swords – Unfortunately during testing these items were destroyed. No new information regarding their abilities or construction was discovered. They were rather crudely fashioned weapons that without being hell forged would be otherwise useless.

>Frost knife – While the enchantment on the knife was powerful the defensive ability imparted was inefficiently granted. Hestia has instead imparted the enchantment onto all current force fields. Force fields will now have 50% damage reduction.

>Dire flail – Hestia already fully understood how to create the enchantments present on this weapon. Its platinum was melted down and put to good use though.

Ongoing Research

Improved robot design - stalled

Current problems

>Demonic city – Hestia has developed a plan and is currently rebuilding the city. Now would be the time to give input for how the city will look when finished.

>Outpost – The soldiers are less panicked than they should be by the sudden disappearance of their commanding officer. The scanner has picked up one man who has rallied their forces and continued to improve their invasion plans.

Looks like with the access to all the lakes water it will be simple enough to create enough farms and meat cloners to feed the demons in the city. There is a long list of facilities that are being implemented and it looks like work is going smoothly for now. Which leaves you time to get more training done, these time altering chambers are fantastic for preparing for anything.

Hey there, good to see you.

I’m not sure spankings are training, but we can start with Ayla then move into solo. Your max of 10x gravity would be too much for her right now anyways.

3d12+12 for training effectiveness.

Gothic is a pretty good thematic style for a demon city, but if you have more ideas for styles post some cool stuff to spark the imagination if you want to.

Training
>>
“Ayla lets head back home and-”

“Invite the twins over for fun?”

“No, we’ll try the new training room Hestia designed.”

“No offence master, but my idea sounds a lot better.”

As you walk back to your quarters you decide to change the subject to Ayla’s more destructive impulses.

“Why did you have a crate of broken lab equipment?”

“It was an accident honestly. I was just helping research things when people started complaining about Sazglangolor being dangerous.”

“Do you know why they were saying that?”

“Probably because they don’t think me teaching Sazglangolor how to use lightning breath is research?” Alya tries to puzzle out. “I thought they wanted to know more about him?”

“And that led to breaking a crate full of stuff how?”

“Uh, look! We’re here. Time for training. Too bad we’ll have to talk about it later.” Ayla darts into your house when you arrive.

Hestia did a very impressive job designing a new training chamber for you, current maximum gravity increase is five hundred times earth levels with a hundred times faster time flow. You set the chamber to double gravity to start.

“Master this training is even more horrible than your last idea!” Ayla says having dissolved into a cloud of smoke pooling against the ground. “I’m all heavy now.”

“If you can get used to it, then you’ll be stronger and faster outside.”

>37 vs upper dc 35

It takes a long time for Ayla to get used to the increase in gravity, but since she apparently doesn’t need to have organs at all to function properly you get her up to an impressive seven times gravity before she can’t endure it any more. It didn’t help you improve very much but Ayla should be in much better physical condition now.

You could stop here and go check on other things or increase the intensity and keep training.

Aw, how come we arent doing the battle royale idea? At the very least we ought to train up with the adaptive robot, i doubt the gravity would affect it much.
>>
“Master I’m being smashed to death.” Ayla complains to you. “Are we done yet?”

“I’ll keep going for a bit longer but you can rest.” You tell her and turn the gravity and time modifications off.

“Thanks! You’re the best.” She hugs you then floats out of the training chamber a little too quickly.

>42 vs dc 40

This time you focus purely on resisting increased gravity. Since you already trained to survive 10x gravity without any issues you start at 20x.

With just pure calisthenics and a focus on full range of motion you keep enduring the gravity as your body breaks down and rebuilds itself. As you break past 100x gravity you pull out your halberd most of your other equipment would be crushed by now, but since the halberd is a part of you it just keeps strengthening with you.

When you finally finish you are not sure how much time has passed but you are hardly even able to move back to the control panel to return gravity to normal. The display says that you’ve managed to reach a mind boggling 212x gravity. You body alone weighs over twenty tons from the gravity. With the gravity disabled you feel significantly stronger than ever before.

My goal for the tournament was to find some useful people to help manage our army, or other resources.

Your bones crack as they quickly reform without the oppressive gravitational field present to continue to shatter them. That was some good training you feel ready to take on that outpost again and whatever it is that they are planning.

A quick walk to the research sector of town leaves you noticing that there are less imps and goblins around that usual.

You head to Hestia’s monitor room to be greeted by an angry looking avatar.

“I’ve been trying to contact you for hours. Obviously I need to create a method of easily transferring data into areas of altered time flow.” Hestia states quickly when you enter.

“What is wrong now? I was thinking of finishing up with the outpost.”

“Good because that needs to be done now. Apparently the Director Burgess heard that his daughter was taken. He personally accompanied a shipment of power suits down here to give to the soldiers at the outpost.” Hestia continues. “Even I could feel his anger when he arrived, thankfully he was called away on a more important assignment. Unfortunately they are preparing to launch their attack right now, all the suits are manned and mobilized.”

“Is it possible to disable them remotely or thin the numbers by using their own turrets against them?”

“The turrets lack the fire power to disable their armor. If we had more time to work it could be possible to remotely disable them. Even with our time modification technology we would need hold them off in real time for several hours. The only one capable of that is you so you would be unable to help develop the countermeasure.” Hestia explains.

“And the combat ability of their suits, is it the same as the one we captured?”

“No, from my readings it seems that the one we captured was put together from spare parts and scrap. These are top of the line models with much better weaponry and armor.”

“Are the suits resistant to electromagnetic pulses?”

“If you could disable their shields yes. Damaging the outer armor would increase probability of success as well.”

“Could we distribute the panacea implant to all our troops?”

“There currently isn’t enough manufactured, we can prepare that for future conflicts however.”

“Alright I’ll see if I can disable to suits myself if I can, that should get your enough time to finish the countermeasure if you want find one.” You tell Hestia.

“Very well. Good luck, I will be unavailable for contact until I finish.” Hestia’s avatar vanishes from the screen.

You think about taking Ayla or the giant lizard, but these suits have a lot of firepower, perhaps too much to them to handle. So you take a smaller armored hover vehicle and speed over to a position close to the amassing power suits, getting the vehicle into the fight would just be a waste of resources so you ditch it behind some garbage and walk up to confront the outpost troops.

“Anyone else get a reading on something approaching just now?” A robotic voice calls out.

“Yea it looked pretty big, wait who is that?” Another asks.

“Holy shit its one of the targets, we have a hostile here.”

The bullets are supercharged with electricity meant to inflict more harm or stun you for capture but they just harmlessly bounce off of you as the electricity dissipates.

“What the fuck is this guy, change ammunition!” Someone shouts.

Three suits advance on you wildly swinging their swords, the edges of the blades glow red hot as they pulse with vibration.

You draw forth your halberd, you feel your life energy fragment as some is compressed into the weapon. As it manifests it begins to glow with a holy light and electricity arcs across its surface.

You dodge their clumsy blows and slam your halberd into them. Your slash shatters the power suit’s shields instantly leaving them open for further attacks. That reminds you to turn your own shield on, so you do so as you charge a burst of energy it the tip of your halberd. Arcs of electricity strike the ground as an electromagnetic pulse erupts. The three suits with broken force fields turn off, trapping the pilots inside the suits for now.

You try to cast the monstrous growth spell again, an extra limb or two could help right now.

Your head aches as a pair of massive bull horns sprout from your scalp. Well damn that’s not very helpful.

Where one man fails they decide to send ten. You are swarmed by power suits from all sides each aiming to cut into you with their massive swords. You decide to try something new, arcs of electricity build on your halberd as they rush at you.

>40

There is a brilliant flash of light as you unleash the power of your thunder cannon, detonated point blank on yourself to try to only disable the suits rather than murder everyone. You follow it up with an emp to disable all the suits that lost their shields from the explosion of electricity.

The entire group that rushed to attack you have been sent flying away clearing space to continue fighting. A few more suits that were close got hit by your attack and are disabled now as well.

>Your status – 33/33 hp, 20 -> 21/35 mana, 16/16 external mana, 0/20 shield, Halberd manifested, holy aura active

>Double 37

“Keep him pinned down, the rail guns seem to work.” One of the suits calls out.

You get mobbed by another group of them. Halberd and horn tear through shields as they try to pin you down. As the crowd closes you suddenly leap free towards the sniper and shatter his force field as you land. Another burst of electromagnetic energy disables more of the suits. Nearly half of them are down now.

They can’t see you but you can sense them. So you stalk through the fog shattering force fields one by one as they try to scramble out of the fog. “Fuck it just open fire into the fog.” Someone yells.

You hope that the armor can withstand the gunfire because you’ve tried not to kill them so far. You get hit by rail guns a couple times but it’s nothing you can’t regenerate.

>double 40

You hear some of the armor being hit but you’re fairly certain that no one else was hurt, yet. So you finish off the last of the suits wandering around in the fog. A few moments near the edges of the fog every now and then is all it takes to get the soldiers outside the fog to group up while firing into one section of the fog.

“Nearly finished, keep stalling them.” Hestia sends another message to you.

>>
You hunker down in the fog to wait it out, most of their shots are missing anyways due to sensor malfunction.

>40, 55, 85, 55

The forces outside the fog continue to open fire with their powerful rail guns. Between your shield and the fog you’re confident that they will not kill you but the pilots in the disabled suits are not doing good. Bullets are tearing through their armor, you can feel their lives begin to slip away.

“You are killing your own men.” You call out to them

You move through the fog draining your own life to heal anyone that is hit. At this point you are more worried about the condition of the armor as your regeneration kicks in.

“Damn he’s still alive, keep shooting!” One of them yells.

“Hahahaha take this asshole!” Someone else yells.

Mortars begin to drop into the fog, massive explosions blast the ground apart. One of the suits is directly hit, the pilot nearly dies instantly from shock as the lower half of his body is severed. As luck would have it you were just close enough to save the man’s life.

You can hear his pained whimpers as you will his legs to regrow.

As your fog dissipates you sense that everyone managed to live though the attack, no thanks to their comrades.

“Countermeasure complete. Probes linked for deployment. Standby.” Hestia says.

(1/2)
>>
(2/2)

There is a flash as thousands of drones are teleported into the area.

“What the hell is going on?” Someone yells.

The drones unleash a high pitched sonic blast, the active suits’ force fields drop. Then moments later the mechanisms for ejection are triggered in all the suits. The drones then use tasers to stun all the soldiers who are too shocked by the ejections to resist. Then they round up all the soldiers for transport to your prison.

“You managed to not kill anyone I am surprised.” Hestia says through a done that hovers near you.

“Do we even have space for them?”

“With spatial compression we have space for anything.”

“And that sound?”

“I was unable to establish a remote link so I induced a resonance failure in their shield harmonics, then similarly in a critical part of the ejection system. Unless the designs change this will be a critical weakness in any future suits you face. I will prepare a smaller version for your use if needed.”

That could actually be useful it would make the suits completely useless against your forces.

“Of course when we begin development such a flaw will not exist right?” You ask Hestia.

“Of course, there are several other parts of the design that I would like to fix as well -” Hestia begins to tell you about everything she found wrong with the power armor. This may take longer than interrogating all the new prisoners.

The final page of the book is bound by the heaviest curses and ornate script written in blood cover the page. Hestia’s sensors pick up far more power than should have been locked inside the book. Who know’s what kind of evil magic is locked away.

Each spell is bound by a curse similar to the one preventing access to the book but easier to identify. DC 30+3 per level of spell.

Can we study our intense gravity adapted body so that we can create highly advanced implants for our troops?
>>
>>42228022
Are we capable of creating nanites yet? If so could we create nanites that lock down someone's body? Could we create nanites that give Hestia control over the persons body? Could we release nanites via the air?
>>

Getting kind of "Transcendent" there, aren't we?

All controlling ais are perfectly okay when they love you

Regular railguns, these fucks have them and they're enough to damage us, I want them, and I want lots, handheld, mounted, so fucking big they just evaporate shit.

Spatial compression says:

Overall outside volume must be equal to 0.00001% of a compressed space area.

so pretty small. But the effects are inside a space. You would need a set of drones or something to surround someone for this.

Yes but they would burn their containers failry quickly, not every part can be hell forged metal. Hellfire can't be put out by any known means so far.

You gravity fields work inside contained areas, so mobile drones would work for this best right now.

You'd need to research an inverse translator or something.

Hestia would love to study you more.

You can VRP which is nanites, so sure research away.

Suggested research is just what Hestia can think of doing with what you have, its not a limitation.

Of course she would, wouldn't anyone?

Hellfire frag grenades
Nuclear capabilities
Mana sapping weaponry, I'm sure Ayla can help with that

So maybe small tanks of hellfire with goblins manning them so they can just pull the ammo out their ass instead of letting it sit around to let it burn through the tanks?

Hell forged* fuck

"Study"

I wonder what would happen if we put a drop of blood to sign the hell lord contract, while in the goblin city. Would it transport us to hell, freak out, or just do nothing? Things to think about.

A gun that funnels our lazer into a smaller size, so we can just bore dime sized holes through people's heads with pure death
>>

>Reggie starts spitting his laser through his hand to funnel it

HAH!

>More questions

You have a hand held railgun, and now captured more from the power armors, good research topic.

So a hellforged metal container that explodes and spews hellfire everywhere, sure you can make those. Good luck cleaning up after it though. If you can find fissile material somewhere. You have a mana poison already doesn’t sap exactly but counters mages good enough for the enemies goblins can fight.

The problem is less about containment and more about unleashing an uncontrollable and inextinguishable fire all over the area you are trying to fight in.

Can we try having Hestia put "How do you extinguish hellfire?" Randomly into the demons intelligence program? I'm sure she can test the answer fast enough for it to not seem odd
>>
We should personally research more effective and pure potions. A stamina potion that can help you go for days without any drowsiness or weariness, even if you maintain strenuous activity during it. A regeneration potion that lasts all day. A mana potion that bolsters your reserves to greater heights than they're normally capable of for a little while, and possibly regenerates your mana. An adrenaline potion that helps you in combat situations, enhancing reflexes and strength and whatnot (even if it makes you a bit more aggressive than usual).

Stamina + regeneration potion would be fuckin GREAT for training for muscle gains. Hell, we might want to consider some kind of potion that makes it a lot easier to build muscle, or a potion that stimulates the mind in a way that helps you learn things at an increased rate temporarily.
And an ADHD potion, for the goblins. Somebody give them adderal.

Build receptacles into the computers and randomly send goblins on scavenging hunts for shit that doesn't exist, free tech!
>>
>>42228732
Build farms manned by robutts that are under a lot of time speed up, our population is growing immensely and we'll need to step out shit up
Maybe build a city out in hellfire land for the demons who don't want to live with humans or just want to live out there, we should Atleast make some use of our hellfire sea
