You are Risa Schrodinger, and you are powered by friendship! Not literally, more closer to you raised a bunch of very nice pumpkins that you then ate, because you are a magical pumpkin engine. That analogy was terrible, no one could imagine that, pretend I didn’t say anything. “Usually do.” You say as the cackling untime of the devourer. Wait, really? That… that sort of hurts.

A blade of prismatic universe lashes towards you, and your massive stomach mouth bites down and blocks the attack, but the force sends you flying into the reality chasm. Everything is really big at this point. “Risa, you can’t get distracted by the voices in your head.” You mime Jager saying, your crazy coming in all sorts of buckets. “It is… attacking.” Sin-Fin notes, also mostly just a sign of your collapsing mental state. Nifty.

“Look, I didn’t mean it,” you promise me, your words dripping with lies, “I just sometimes get a little testy is all. Look, I got this new body and all that but I don’t got no instruction booklet. Mind giving me a run down? Maybe in the form of a character sheet?”

No, that ain’t happenin’. Figure it out on your own, with your new head voices. I’m going to eat a pint of ice cream, throw it up, then go have nice little cry you mean old sod. You have no idea what that means, and are about to ask your Plant what that is all about, but the Time Devourer slams into your head, cracking it open and spilling your blood in small twinkly dots along the vast infinity of nothing. You spin and send out a laser blast, but the devourer punches your arm and sends your shot wide. Cracks appear along the galaxy long blast of violet energy from which coiling tentacles and shifting eyes peek out for a brief moment before the cracks slam shut.

You have to think. How do you want to fight?

You send your foot into the creature’s food digesting sack, then, using your gravity magic to keep it attached to you, spin and then fling it away. “Contempt, contempt, and contempt for the boredom.” You explain as your leg regenerates from the gooey devourer gunk on it.

Your broken cracks of tails bend at harsh angles and point at your left hand. You open your palm and a hideous mass of pulsing violet energy coils and spins to life as you pour your new found powers into it. It tries to rebel, to scream that it does not belong, and it must never be, but you are already too far down the rabbit hole to really care about its opinion in the slightest. The energy grows denser with each passing moment, though moments are a meaningless concept without space/time to—“I shall poison the city and sink it with fire.” You crazy talk as the density of the energy becomes too great and it collapses on itself.

You throw the strange singularity of energy at the creature and, upon contact, the infinite nothing implodes, pulling matter and antimatter into a surging wound like a faucet drain, or one of those aliens you squeeze to make their eyes pop out. It cascades inwards then, when the energy is spent, it blasts back against the Time devourer. He spins away, right into a ray of impossibly pure light that scorches and destroys small chunks of him. He recovers quickly and moves faster than most textbooks say he should be able to move, but you are already in front of him cutting him off.

You suck in the void matter into your stomach mouth and begin charging. “Charge up time? That’s a bullshit gimmick and you know it.” You complain. Can’t hear you, chocolate chip cookie dough is talking right now.

You spin and connect a kick to the side of his head, and while the feedback is good, the little blighter just makes an annoyed face, then grabs your ankle. He sends strange static energy up it, and it hurts in a way that makes you say several unpleasant things about his parentage, before you remember he looks like the creepy lovechild between you and Lucy so you just called yourself a doorknob licker really. You sever your leg, which then explodes because of course it does, and you try to slip away from him. Lucifer flies around and sends small blasts of light into the Devourer’s form.

Small mouths open on the Devourer’s back and send screams of power at Lucifer. He tries to dodge them, but one catches his side and tears him open. He spins, but you can’t watch for too long as Tim rushes you. He grabs your stomach teeth, then pulls the large bone things out. You scream in agony as bolts of pain slither through you. He stabs the teeth into your eyes, blinding you, then grabs your arm, sends oodles, that’s an imperial oodle not a metric oodle, of energy into your body. Fissures erupt in your body, your own energy fusing with the static as it kisses out of you like a pressure kettle with cracks. You bite down on him before he makes you explode, and in reply he kicks you into a large mass of something. You have no eyes, mass of something is all you get.

You pull your teeth out and see Lucifer is swinging some galaxy long sword, honestly bloke is obviously compensating for something. I mean, he wears a very thin robe thing, not like everybody hasn’t seen it already. You hear a ding in your head as either my microwave pizza is done, or your stomach mouth is charged. Pizza still has a minute, you’re golden.

You lean back and your mouth grows wider. It makes a coughing sound, then hocks up a ball of energy that is just full of those time errors you are so well known for. It warps around, its path impossible to track or predict, until it warps into the devourer. He summons a shield of some sort, you note, but the energy still connects. It ripples into the vast infinity of nothing and you feel a little drained. You wonder how much energy you could put into your stomach mouth? Think it could go bigger?

You have no time for that as the devourer is back on you! Your stomach slowly inhales void stuff, but it isn’t as energetic as before. Hm, should you go all out with it?

Use: Wishbreaker
ERROR//Cascade Reversal
>1 This will hurt

You send your strange energy into your stomach mouth, because there is no problem in the whole of infinity that is laserproof. You sent a fatebreaker into your wishbreaker hole, a wrecked piece of used goods at this point, and the Time Devourer makes a… well, a sound. “That isn’t very descriptive.” You note.

I just finished a pint of ice cream, and it is making sounds like a garbage disposal is making tender love to the metaphysical concept of mercy while said concept force feeds you your own toenails, but not the bad parts of it, while everything is on fire and you are in Hell. Deal with it, okay? “Okay, Christ.” Your stomach sucks in void matter and starts chewing on it and—my, the Time Devourer certainly got here fast didn’t he?

You look up and regret it when a whip of teeth and blades tears your eyes out. You shout your lament that they hit your eyes again, then kick up, hoping to catch the devourer, but only catching… not air. Void? You missed. Your leg gets torn off, and you are rather unhappy about that, but you try to cough up the energy you gathered up till then right in front of you. Something gets shoved into your stomach mouth, your leg infused with devourer energy you realize, and the built p power has nowhere to go.

You try to pull it out, because that doesn’t go there, but it is too late. The energy arks into you, destabilizing your crack fissure tails, and sending you into the waiting mouth of the bound beast. Your existence is ripped apart, regeneration not working because as far as the small sliver of reality cares there was never anything there in the first place.

The energy implodes and annihilates you, leaving a small gem behind.

Well, the Devourer had something to say about that, now didn’t he? You try and catch your breath as Lucifer does his thing. You don’t care that much about him, really. “Maybe using fatebreakers and wishbreakers is a bad idea, Risa,” Jager notes, and isn’t a sign of mental unbalance, “I mean, he had to have a long time to observe them, right?”

Why didn’t she speak up earlier? Damn it, now you got me doing it.

You push yourself up, still woobly on your feet. What should you do?

Agreed, they won't drop it. They want their assumed win conditions, but that isn't the way this works. The problems keep rolling out the more people complain. It happens, let's dry our tears and remember that this was never a sunshine and butterflies quest. I'm still having fun and will draw, sad to hear we could have been snapped out. Everyone carries some weight of fault, but it's pointless to argue it.

Roll and play. See it through.

Thank you Azure for this experience.

Has there ever been a problem lasers haven’t fixed? The answer is no, and if you think the answer is yes then you have clearly not been using enough lasers. The correct answer is to use all of the lasers. ALL OF THEM. You lean back and try again, your mouth stomach inhaling all the void matter it can between the worlds while Lucifer keeps the devourer busy with his light show.

You inhale all the void stuff that was once a universe. Start, dark matter, less dark matter, the majority of the Ducks in the universe that once was, and of course Sid the—

“Betrayer! Harlot! The dark ones shall—“ Sid says from a small platform.

You eat him with your mouth stomach and pretend that never happened. Yeah, Sid the Squid has been dead forever. You keep charging, your body creaking under the strain of your own power as you take in more and more void matter. Small tears form along your body as you stand there, like Goku, and energy leaks out of them. Your strange tails coil around your body and plug up the escaping energy, and your body vibrates in anger as you try to hold it all together.

You got this Risa, it’s no biggy. Just breathe in and out, in and out, in and—I may have forgotten here is no Oxygen here, so, yeah. Don’t do that. Finally you feel past your breaking point and you leap up.

Lucifer flies high in the air as you let out a mad cackle and spin. The devourer looks at you as Lucifer summons his energy as well. The devourer looks at the both of you, opens his palms, then fires reality ripping energy at both of your charging forms. Your mouth goes wide and you eat it, then you cling onto the devourer and let your mouth cannon do the rest. It explodes against he devourer at the same time Lucifer swings and tears the creature in half. Your stomach mouth, somehow held together despite the insane explosion it released, chomps down on half of the devourer while Lucifer absorbs the other half.

Fuckface can we just get off this track and play through? It's the last hole of the universe, we are over par, and our caddy is a bear. Save it for after the end.

Please. Please can we just get through this without any more argument. You are harsh ing my calm and I get here late again to see the same assumed voices being little bitches.

I get it, I'm an anon who fucking LIKES player conversation but we get into a negativity spiral that could counter a gainax ending with a budget.

The Time devourer is now dead.

You reform in the void, your energy having a hard time remembering what a Risa Cat looks like. You piece yourself back together after an unknown amount of time, but honestly time has no real meaning here, and see Lucifer standing there patiently. “Good job Risa.” He says.

“Yes. I did the best job.” You agree.

“Now we can reform the universe, in a better image.” He says.

“We?” You wonder.

“I need the whole of the Time Devourer to make a stable universe. We can enjoy it far better than father ever did.” He explains. “We can even remake your friends.”

“Let me consult my peep.” You say and turn. “Monologue?”

Hm? Well, it will end with no free will, though this time you’ll be in on it and know they aren’t real. Reckon it could drive anyone bananas. “Really? But is there any way to make them have free will?” You whisper, because you don’t want the Devil to hear you. Well, I mean, yeah. Yeah, that should be doable. “For realsies?” You wonder. Yeah, if you get the whole of the Time Devourer or get Lucy on board we should be able to restore the universe with true free will. “Even the people I ate?” You ask.

Well yeah. Wouldn't be too hard.

“Lucy! Why don’t we make a universe with true free will?” You ask.

He tilts his head and smiles gently. “Because free will was a mistake. Individuality was a mistake. My father was ill in his later years, and he made so many little errors. A universe in my image will not have such imperfections. Sorry, our image.” He explains.

“That doesn’t sound very much like what The Doctor would do.” You say.

“Join me Risa. It is better this way.” He promises.

Do you accept Lucy’s plan?

Like he was all saying that he was everything that existed in the universe, and this whole thing was the result of an elaborate plan to commit suicide on his part specifically BECAUSE he was the only true consciousness in the universe and couldn't bear the boredom? And he planned all this in like the seconds after creating the universe?"

“That seems like a good plan and all, but I am pretty sure it isn’t what The Doctor would do.” You say.

He sighs. “Is it really coming to this? Think about it, you could make all your friends however you like. They would say whatever you want, they would do whatever you want. Even cicada things.” He promises.

“Get thee behind me Satan!” You command.

“Well, that’s too bad.” Lucifer sighs and he begins to glow with unholy power. “If it has come to this, then I will try to make this as painless as possible.”

“Monologue, you sure we can get it all right with the world?” You ask. Yeah, pretty solid on it. I mean, I would need the other half to be 100%, but just looking at the chunk you got I am, like, 95% sure of it. “Well, that’s a bother then, innit? Sorry Lucy goosey, I need you to get in my tummy. “Mind putting some fight music on?” You ask flashing over to Lucifer and kicking him in the face.

Lucifer sends out a pulse of energy that flash fries your skin off, but you get better. He swings you into the ground and stabs you with a small glowing blade that explodes in your shoulder joint. You roll to the side, open up your mouth and send out pulses of energy that drive him back a few feet. Yeah, lemme get my records here… this good?

“Is this—“ You take a blast to your stomach mouth. Ouch. You cough, and look up. “Is this The Doors?” Would you have preferred the Animals? “No… no this is fine. Save them for when you play me out.”

You suck in void matter as you begin a dance around Lucifer, spinning and kicking him over and over. It’s like you are kicking steel, well, I mean, like you were a normal bloke kicking steel. It hurts. You see his eyes flash and hit the ground, then limbo under a galaxy sized, narrow beam of light. You lean back up then fire a blast of violet energy at his face. Because fuck his pretty boy face! “Yeah!” Yeah! “YEAH!” You fire a few exploding orbs at his head. They explode, creating massive shock waves in the infinite nothing.

You continue absorbing void when he swings out. You dodge a backhand, but a small feather follows the wake of the blow and lands on your head. It explodes, tearing your face thinking parts off and sending you a few light years away. You keep your stomach open as you fly, taking in the nothing like a motorcyclist taking in bugs.

You try and gather more energy, needing more to take on this muggy cunt, then you see a massive blast of light, like a large explosion, yes, a big bang you might even call it cascade towards you.

You charge the big bang, it is, after all, ever expanding and if you ran from it you would probably just end up running forever. It burns huge chunks of you away, but you crank up your regeneration to try and compensate. You eat huge chunks of the protouniverse and feel your body leaking again. You get close to Lucifer and fire!

It tears his energy shields apart, and sends him careening through the universe bubble he made. The mass of energy destabilizes the area around you and shatters the protective shell of reality. You catch up to his body and send your foot into his stomach, and he sends small feathers into your body that eat away at you then explode. You tumble over, then throw your arm at him, it was hanging on by a nub anyway, then pounce like the apex predator you are. You try to bite his face off, but get thrown off for your troubles and filled with his holy light. That wasn’t a metaphor for lewd things. “Thanks for clearing it up.

You feel your energy near bursting. Your tails do their best to hold it all in as the vacuum of your stomach devours all, but they can only hold so much. Blasts of light tear your distracted form apart, and you regenerate at top speed to compensate for the damage, but it is endless. Your legs shatter divine protections, his blasts rip your obscene form to shreds. Over and over the both of you charge your attacks while trying to rip the other apart. You bite down on him and he shoves a feather in your eye that—ow! Your eye!

You fall back a few light years and feel your body tremble like taco night at the shrine. You’re about built up, but so is he. You see a flash of light that is far larger than any other you have seen before. Your teeth clatter and you make ready to strike.

It isn’t a pretty blast, and you think your bones get pulled out with the energy cascading out of you as you go like a limp noodle as soon as it leave s your stomach. It flies through the infinity and connects with the lightbringer, creating a hissing energy where they meet. You stare, confused as to what it is doing, but then see it spin and dig through the attack.

You feel the lightbringer wash over you as your gagged up chunk of energy and matter detonate, filling the void with a dark violet light. You feel yourself get ripped apart. You float for who knows how long, your spare already used so you just have to wait for your body to regenerate. You finally open your eyes, once more in the great cosmic void of nothing. Not absorbed, that’s good, it would be bad if I had to get serious. “Could you even do anything if we got absorbed?” I would make him get the most awkward boners. Like, to sheep and shit. Take that Devil. “I understood none of that.”

You fly around for a bit, then find a lump of crystal energy that was once Lucifer. You reach into your pocket to throw sand at him, but you have no pockets, and sand got time devoured. Unfortunate. You om nom nom the rock and—okay, let me take a look here. “Take your time. Time is a relative that only exists because of space time which, you know, doesn’t exist now.” You say floating about.

Yeah yeah. You doggy paddle around the universe, seeing small shimmers of light as universes are born and die in the vast cosmic. Oh, huh. That’s a bit of a snag. “Snag? What’chu talkin’ bout monologue. You lie to me? We can’t bring the universe back but with free will and slightly more revealing clothing?” You demand.

No, you can remake the universe. Put all the people there too with real free will. Even Jager, Sin-Fin, Ryoko, and them if you like. “That is exactly what I wanted. What’s the problem?” You wonder.

Well, the thing is… you can’t be there. “What?” You ask. Yeah, your cascade errors you got going on. Small errors I can deal with, like Sin-Fin being Eve despite that guy no longer existing. It’s like a hiccup but it works just fine. A massive cascade error like you, well, it would create some problems. “What sort?” Doves. Every atom would be replaces with a flock of very angry doves. “You’re full of it.” S’truth.

You mull over what to do. “Would I have enough time to give some dramatic goodbye?” You wonder. Well yeah, you have to set the errors anyway. “What happens if I make the universe like that?” Well, I’m not too sure. You would probably have to muck about here a bit. Maybe go hopping to new places. I’m not your mom, don’t tell me what to do. “And Lucy’s plan? Is it still viable?” You wonder.

Well, making a universe where you are the only thing is probably doable, yeah. Dunno how fun it would be though. “But it would be—“ also I am pretty sure I know which the doctor would chose.

“Damn it. Make it an easy A or B option for me!” You command.

Sure. Plan A is you do what God did. Be the only thing in all of the universe. Plan B is institute true free will and let the universe muck about all natural order like.

What happened to Old Risa? Even if we can't exist in the universe we create, can we still fight her as a bonus boss to make sure she doesn't subsume our identity?

Wonder if the others will be created first and get to watch.

I don't think Risa could tolerate seeing a clone of herself, even one she made in her own image, without reflexively eating it. Might be fun to try though.

Since we are bringing everyone back, are we going to just like, pull their essence out of us and pin it back on the new universe?

You kind of misunderstand. I just don't want Risa to have anything else to do with those characters or the world anymore. She murdered all of those people in cold blood, is an insane, terrible, and wretched creature all of existence will be better off without. No goodbyes, just non-existence.

“Balls.” You huff flopping on the ground. If it makes you feel any better this means you have to travel through time and space to make sure all your mates get set right. You continue flopping there, unhappiness clean in your flopping…ness. You glance up after a few trillion years, or five minutes. “Can I make the TaRDiS noise?” I would be disappointed if you didn’t.

You hop up, suddenly energetic. You hold your arms up high and smile. “Right then, you cheeky bastards, one universe with extra onions and a side of chips coming right up!” you shout. You pull the gem and a huge chunk of your energy out grit your teeth a the raw weight of all your go juice makes you want to cry a little, but then one of the mouths on your wings starts playing the intro song to Doctor Who and you somehow find the courage. I swear, it’s like you’re eight.

You swing the energy down, and there is a massive bang, and a universe is born.

-

You lean against a tree. “This is mine! I named it, because that’s my job! You just go over there, okay!” Adam shouts to Eve, sending the somewhat dour looking woman skittering off.

“Okay. I will obey.” She mumbles and you shift out of the shadows dressed like a snake.

Actually you are dressed like the—hold on, how do you know about the Ninth Doctor? He shouldn’t “Shh, don’t ruin this. Hey kid, wanna apple?”

She looks at you, then back to her husband, then back to you, then her feet, then she presses start and unlocks dodo mode. “We are not supposed to.” She says.

“You know, it will make you happy. Super happy.” You promise with a large smile. "Come on. Peer pressure. Peer pressure. Peer pressure." That's not how that works.

She looks down, then doubles up on her infinite ammo cheat and nods. She takes the apple from you, and you make the TaRDiS sounds as you fade away.

And now you’re dressed like the Fourth? Is there any order to you? “Ordered by how much I like them at a given time, now shush.” You say.

You glare at the chunks of hellfire, the boiling infinity, then see your chance and take it. The demons all look at you, so you reach into your pocket and pull out some snacks. “Would you like a Jelly Baby?” You wonder. They do not want a Jelly baby.

They chase you for a solid hundred Kilometers until you remember you can fly. The small egg twitches, and you soar through the night world of Hueco Mundo and throw her at a very buff looking guy flexing his problems away.

-

You make your TaRDiS sounds again and land on the ground around a group of hollows. Your body is static now, pretty much totally unstable and mostly rejected from reality. You tear a slug in half and shove the pieces of it into a small plant that just wants to do its best for you big brother! This time you are rocking the First? “I like the pipe.” You say. It is a nice pipe.

You tear through Hueco Mundo, moving rocks and shifting creatures to ensure some survive while others turn into—“Risa! I shall see that which is unseen! Do you not know what—“ You tear Sid apart. Seriously mate, piss off already. I fear he is eternal.

ACQUIRE POWER: Suckers.

That was weird. “I can make suckers now. Just roll with it.” You say as you drill into the hollow palace and ensure a certain rapping doctor has his own lab all set for him.

You are in the human world, chunks of you are falling off now. You make the quincies not vampire things because that plot was stupid and resulted in fire snakes. “Dressed as the fifth.” You declare. Yes yes, very bold, wearing a vegetable.

You muck with the enrollment rules so your supernatural kids all meet up and do… stuff you guess. Piss if you know. You tear up chunks of town while acting like a natural disaster to make Hollows really dig the place. Nofunigami are sure to follow and—“Oh yeah.”

-

You throw a chunk of untime into some weird fellow so he would become a Soul King. Nothing too harsh, just enough to have Nofunigami kicking around. You liked a good number of them after all. You then vomit the tiny dagger Asmodeus used up and throw it at the earth. It feeds on the Lust and dark energy of the planet and slowly gains form. Neat.

-

Last stop, you think, dressed as the Tenth. You make a nice Tenth. Nazi Germany, 1945. You slip into a certain lab and watch people hurry as our old boys make their way in. You think about the future they have, and decide the deserve it all, except one. You wait until she is alone, the others all running home, but her wanting to hide the last of their projects. You stab a tail into her chest and give a weak smile as she looks down scared. “I’m sorry, this is the only mercy I can give you. You need to hollow up, but what you have to go through for it to happen.” You let out a weak hiss, the light fading from her eyes as hollow energy infects and changes her. You throw her towards Japan and figure that’s good enough.

You slump against some machines and pant. Your body crackles with energy, violet lightning trying to devour you as you force yourself to be. You look at the list, the people you didn’t mention because there is a limited attention span you can offer but were absolutely taken care of. You wheeze as the air feels toxic to you. “Monologue…. Monologue there is one last person I want to see, think we can manage the trip?” You ask.

Probably. Who? You smile sadly. “A certain British lass who I have been meaning to have a few words with for a very, very long time.” Yeah, sure.

You make that sad wheezing sound as you give one last time travel move.

-

England, 3 December

You lean against the home of your target. As soon as she leaves you limp up to her. “Ms. Agatha Christie?” You wonder.

England, 3 December 1926

“Yes? I’m sorry, I’m in a terrible rush.” She says.

“No that’s fine. I just have to say, I mean, really say, you are just brilliant. Really, truly extraordinary.” You say.

She seems confused but nods. “Oh. Well, thank you.”

You offer her your hand and, when she takes it, you zap her with energy so she won’t remember this. Also won’t remember the next ten days. “Ah, you thought I was going to visit myself, right?” You ask.

What? No way, this is Agatha Christie, she’s brilliant. “Right?” You double over, coughing up flecks of yourself on the ground. “Bollocks. Ey, monologue, will they remember me?” The time streams are out of sync so, no. None of them will remember you.

You make an annoyed face, then shrug. “Well, that’s about that then, innit? Suppose that’s for the best.” You see a crack form in the fabric of reality. The universe is straining under you and is starting to break. “I realize it sometimes, you know? How off my rocker I am. Truth be told I didn’t want to be like this. I mean, my whole life and then some I was just a tool so God could off himself, right?” You wonder.

You stumble over to the crack, the strange light of unreality making your skin tingle. “Still, I mean, I would have liked it if I could have stuck around a bit more, you know? There was so much I wanted to do. So much I wanted to say to the people I liked. I wanted to feel like they did, I wanted to hold hem and not feel sad, not feel like my brain was going to crack in half just by living.” You look back at England. “I just wanted to be happy. I wanted to make them all a little happier.”

Fancy a bit o’ gin afore you go? “I probably shouldn’t. That stuff will kill you, you know.” You say.

You take a deep breath, exhale, then shout “Goodbye! I love you all! I wasn’t the best all the time, but I did the best I could! Make the best of it that you can! Thank you so much for taking care of me until now! Monologue, play me out. Something from the underground.” You command as you step through the crack in time, your fatebreakers shimmering in a cowardly and suspicious way.

All in all. Wasn't the best ending, but it was far from the worst. Much better than it could have wound up being.

It was nice seeing classic, doctor obsessed, "fuck the detail, this'll work" Risa.

Damn it, even after all this, you're still making me cry.

Because I really did like those characters so much but felt like we weren't allowed to interact with them in a way I wanted to, and they really were all better off for not having met us.

>>41880293
Why couldn't she have given the power up, or fixed herself even a little bit, even with all the power in the universe? Even if it wasn't the worst ending, the sheer unfairness of it hurts me deeply, since it's pretty much you who made all these great characters but then forbid us from interacting with them in a meaningful fashion, and yet I'm pretty sure you'll say this is all our fault once again. Why couldn't you just let us have something for the very last time?
>>
>>41880299

I would have liked a tearful goodbye after Risa vomits all of them up, but yeah.

Risa murdered plant. Then she cursed Sin Fin to the same eternity of suffering. Remember that in both cases, Risa was the one who intervened and made both of those characters' lives better.

The only one she arguably helped was Jager, by just murdering her rather than letting her get edged to death by Communist Rapists.
>>
>>41880447
I like to imagine they all wound up finding one another for an unknown reason. Drawn together by an invisible hand, and that in the end they found peace as comrades, even without Risa physically being there.

>>
>>41880447
I don't know, I mean I'm pretty sure Sin-Fin and Jager really would have been worse off if it wasn't for Risa's friendship. It's just that we were never allowed to really seal the deal for them. I'm not sure how anyone but Risa would be dumb and tough enough to keep reaching out to Sin-Fin and surviving.

I understand. But thanks for everything, I'll remember this all even when I'm seventy and free speech is dead, I know it. God Save The Queen, and God Bless You.
You really did something special, I want you to know that. Don't ever tell yourself you didn't. You're special.

It would have ended with another Time Devourer eventually. Time is a flat circle.
>>
>>41881419

Your readers gave you what seemed like a clever work around, making a Risa, but different enough to where she would never propagate errors. Why didn't you use that plan?
>>
>>41881355
Not going to lie to you AE, HQR is what got me into questing. This was well over a year ago. I can't thank you enough for the roller coaster of a ride this has been.
>>
Do they say "Risa damn it!" or "For the love of Risa!"
>>
>>41881442
I think it's because Risa really would just make everything worse. Which is also why Risa couldn't let go. Our biggest problem was apparently deciding to cutscene through killing all our friends, because if we didn't we might have been able to have a Companion.

I feel like a lot of the quest has been nothing but sacrifices though, and without much payout. I guess I just wish you could have made it clearer that Risa won't be huddled in a ball crying just outside the universe for the rest of eternity. That even if she can't see her friends again, she can still have fun somewhere.

We had a perfectly valid option for an offense versus Lucy, and a perfect work around for Risa being torn out of existence. It simply worked out that Azure liked his ideas more than ours.

Hey late night readers. I'm only up to the initial Lucifer-Risa throwdown, and I just had a odd thought. The reason why god went suicidal was because he built the universe in his image. Since he knew everything and was essentially staring a mirror for all of eternity, he offed himself. It occurs to me that Risa, having been a Hollow, a creation of a parasitical outsider, and having eaten that same outsider to further change herself, can remake the universe in such a way that would avoid the whole, "cosmic depression" thing. Assuming she can remake her friends of course. Taking Lucifer's deal would be rather bad, since he's essentially a very specifically purposed part of god hopped up on outsider steroids. His comments about remaking the universe in his and our image would probably have led to cosmic depression.

A sad ending isn't always a bad ending, you know. Saying goodbye is sad, but moving helps you grow. And that's exactly what Risa did. She grew a little.

Just drink your liquor, AE, and begin plotting your next endeavor.

Sad walking away music sounds as Risa, in her own clothes, walks down a lonely road. A cosmic extra dimensional shift pickup comes roaring in seventeen directions down up that road and Risa flips her purple hair, sticks a few thbs out, and rolls up her jeans to show off some leg.

Her own world must continue to think her dead, until she can tame the cosmic wrongness roiling within her.

Which will be never.z

>>
>>41882998
It's kind of ironic really, when most of the players were frequently frustrated with how hard Risa was to guide, and how in many ways she got in the way of interacting with NPCs, when she seemed like she was your favorite all along. The ending almost made me see her the way you saw her, but still just kind of makes me bitter. And sad, of course. So very sad.
>>
>>41883079
I can only hope. Maybe she will be holding earth like a beachball, but with a stomach mouth bite taken out of it.
>>
I think Risa would want us to be happy. She shot herself because living offered nothing more, she hollowfied herself because it was something new, and now she's going somewhere else to try some more new things.
It's just another adventure, do not cry.
>>
I wonder if Risa will other broken gods?
>>
>>41883119
>I think Risa would want us to be happy. She shot herself because living offered nothing more, she hollowfied herself because it was something new, and now she's going somewhere else to try some more new things.
But unlike when she was alive, she didn't get near as much out of being a hollow/god as she wanted too. I feel like the true purpose of the ending is that AE is really sad about not being able to write Risa anymore, regardless of what would have happened to her, and wanted to make us feel that same sadness. In my case, he wildly succeeded.
>>
>>41883103
She really did try her hardest. She just didn't always understand. She was sad people got mad at her, but she knew it was her fault!
>>
>>41883119

Jesus Christ, she wasn't Jesus Christ. Everyone will be fine without her.
>>
>>41883179
I'm a little less fine without her. A good friend doesn't need to be jesus to make the world.
