>Summary:
You are techpriest Heracor Nahive. You were forcefully implanted a brain chip that made you into little more than a working drone; nullified your emotions and willpower. One day for unknown reasons the chip stopped working and you were returned to your former self. You felt the need of vengeance, right now you are travelling the Galaxy trying to become stronger to return one day and fight the ones that enslaved your mind.

TOWARDS UNKNOWN DESTINATION // INSIDE AN ORK KROOZA
>>
You slept for and indeterminate amount of hours, it didn’t mattered how many they were because not even an entire day of rest could make it up for all you had recently lived and experienced.

A shrieking sound of suddenly moving air bags and ionized gases suddenly woke you, in the empty area where once your mighty Trukk stood a ball of light and electrical arcs, when it was over a group of people appeared. They all ported the same explosive collars that you had and were in different states of consciousness; among them there were a couple of unlucky ones that were misteleported and appeared between walls or with other solid objects inside their guts, killing them instantly.

One of them carried a bag with himself, it was full of the same pills that you had taken before, the combat drug that erased any kind of fear of your mind and turned you into a berserker.

> Meet your new team, establish yourself as the leader.
> Let them freely roam and tell them that this is the human headquarter.
> Take the combat drug and study it.
> Start to work on your new vehicle.

We know where the kroozer is going, the next race haha. When we introduce ourselves state that we are not their direct superior, and we don't expect them to grovel or salute. Then inform them that we are the sole survivor of the last race, we are also the mechanic and pilot, and while they won't be 'punished' for not doing as they're told there's the implication that this race is lethal and demanding enough that they really should if they don't want to end up a smear on some ork's bumper or blade.
>>
>>41750203
> Meet your new team, establish yourself as the leader.
You could easily finish off the couple of unlucky ones that have been badly teleported to end their suffering. Still, now that the last traces of the drugs were out of your body it felt as something wrong, those were fellow humans after all.

With your hand shaking you unsheathed your powersword and faking a calm spirit walked towards the first one. You had to show dominance as the leader to maintain your status quo.

Swiftly you cut their jugulars and let them quickly bleed themselves to death. The first one was unconscious and couldn't react or notice what were you doing, the second one was alive and muttered a gurgling thank you with its last breath.

You looked at the rest of the group, just like the last time they were pretty heterogeneous and varied. They were criminals from all across the Obscurus sector and thus had incredibly different origins. Ferals, Hivers, Techpriests, Guardsmen...

"Greetings. I am Heracor Nahive. Driver and leader of this group. Follow my orders and you all might even survive."

> Let them freely roam and tell them that this is the human headquarter.

"We are right now inside an Ork spaceship. Enemy territory in all directions. This garage is the only safe place that I know of. Feel free to roam and explore, inside those walls there are many treasures to find but also orkoids desiring to plunge their crude swords into your chests."

You started to clean the sword, instead of using a rug you simply sent more power across the blade and let the power field erase and burn any trace of blood molecules on it.

"Anyone who isn't here at the start of the race will be simply abandoned. Good luck. Omnissiah Vult. Imperator Vult."
>>
>>41750755
>Take the combat drug and study it.

You grabbed the bag from the scared and young criminal and took a bunch of them.

"Those pills are Psychollosus. They turn you into an enraged beast, take them before any race or die of an heart attack, your choice."

Sadly there wasn't anything like a chemical lab around, the best you had was a desk and an augmentation lense that let you see it more closely.

The red capsules were filled with what seemed like small ball bearings of white and black color. Best thing you could do to increase their effect right now would be emptying one pill and placing its contents inside another, doubling its quantity.

> Start to work on your new vehicle.

"Enough rest, we have to create a race capable vehicle. On the other side of this wall there is a massive and chaotic warehouse full of pieces and pesky ork laborers. You all will enter inside and grab what I say. Nobody...nobody ever dare to enter alone, always groups of at least two persons."

The group around muttered and reacted in several ways, most of them in disbelief but when you showed them your many weapons they all ceased their chatting.

"First of all, we have to choose a chassis. The skeleton of our future vehicle..."

You wanted to save as many people as you could, and ironically to do so you had to put them into a vehicle and risk their lives. Not everybody could be saved but the more people you carried with you the more of them might survive to see another day.

Once again, using a transport vehicle might be the best option, a good mix of speed, defense and transport capabilities.

"Go and find a transport. A platform that can carry as many of you as possible. It has to be sturdy but not incredibly heavy. You and you."

You sent a techpriest and a muscular goon to do the work along with a woman that seemed to be combat experienced and skilled enough.

Meanwhile you worked with the other two into cleaning the garage and leaving enough space for you to work.

After about thirty minutes the trio returned with what you wanted. Its design was similar but different at the one that you had used the last time, it would have to do thought.

When it was all placed and ready you let the group rest for a while before sending them once again.

"Good work team. We now need a mean of transport."

Last time this worked well, using old methods is something the Mechanicus does best.

This time you had to accompany them because Skimmer tech is something widely unknown across Imperial space. You ended finding some locomotion antigrav generators of a round appearance and sand color that were filled with some xeno symbols.

Using xenos technology was something that you hated but there was no other option this time.

After installing what the other techpriest identified as Tau Drones on the Trukk you decided that the next thing it needed was some engines.

While you were installing the last touches of the vehicle you sent the rest of the team into the search of the Engines.

The group returned with a couple of good engines. They both were of apparent military design and construction.

With the Imperial engine you had no trouble when it came for the installation but for the second one you needed the help and guidance of the Techpriest. He or she seemed to have a wide knowledge of Tau technology, probably that was the reason of him being considered a criminal now.

After the work was done you tried turning the engines on. The skimmer drones elevated from the ground with a hazing cerulean light while the connected military engine revved hard and spitted fire.

Good work. Now you could try to get some extra features.

You saw how gory the races could get, you better get many spikes that made your vehicle nigh untouchable.

After sweeping the warehouse for a couple of hours the entire team had managed to gather a great amount of swords, spikes and blades to attach.

With all the spikes installed your entire team proceeded to paint the car with pressurized hoses or simply by grabbing the paint cans and throwing it directly. As a final touch you threw the last can of mars red paint and exploded it with a plasma shoot, raining paint all over the vehicle and giving it a strange yet enhancing look.

The entire group screamed in joy. Good, it might be the last time they felt any kind of happiness. You better arm them now.

Even if you didn't wanted to focus on your teammates ending getting to know them was something unavoidable:

One of them was a tall and lithe techpriest that seemed to have a dangerous taste in xenotechnology of Tau origin. There was also a pugdy and strong looking tribal woman of apparent matriarch origins that wore pelts and had its entire body marked with paints and esoteric designs. There were two guardsmen that apparently knew each other, one was a woman, the other a man, they could even be a couple. Finally the last one was a hive ganger of great dimensions.

There is a gun perfect for everybody. Once again you gave a flame based weapon for the tall ganger, he grabbed it with a dumb yet satisfied smile. On their worlds there are fires and torches everywhere and thus they are pretty used to having a sacred flame spitting machine on their hands.

Since the Autogun is the simplest and easiest weapon to hold and use you gave one to the pugdy tribal member which grabbed with curiosity. You tried to taught her how it worked but due to her cultural differences she denied your teachings, both for being a male and because of your strange appearance.

You gave the fellow techpriest a plasma rifle, even if he was a criminal he surely knew best how to handle such delicate weapon.

To the guardsmen couple you gave a sniper rifle to each, they would be able to work as spotters and shooters for each other and maintain a steady rate of fire if they were efficient enough.

With everybody armed and the vehicle almost created you worked hard with them and managed to finish it at once.

>Bionic upgrades, specifically computation of speed and mapping enhancements for better driving.

You better use your skills in something that might increase your chances of survival during the race. You cannot trust anybody but yourself right now but still there is no way you can upgrade your computational speed by yourself. Such delicate neurologic operation could let you completely numb and braindead.

Unable to help it you approached the other techpriest and told xir your need.

Half an hour later you were drugged and with half your head opened while the other techpriest was tinkering on your pink insides.

You woke up after the operation was over. You felt confused and somewhat dizzy but after it was over and you updated your brain-systems you noticed that the speed of processing and map scanning was doubled. Honestly, you somewhat missed this kind of post operational sensation.
>>
>>41754280
After recovering yourself and eating some military rations that you had found around you went into the Military boxes that carried weapons. They were of pretty great dimensions and surely what they carried was of a great destructive power, their biometric lock could originally be only opened by someone with an special permit but you would be able to unlock them. Machines have no secrets for you.

The first one carried a massive twin linked lascannon. You couldn't carry it on your own, not at least until you got yourself into a bigger and stronger body or dropped some of the equipment that you are already carrying.

The second one carried several pieces that once assembled turned into a hunter-killer missile of great destructive power. It wouldn't be hard to create a launcher that your Trukk could carry.

Can we rig a remote detonator to the explosive charge for a lethal trap as well?
>>

You had seen and noticed that most of the deaths around weren't because of enemy fire but weapon malfunctioning. If you installed such a powerful missile on your vehicle it could explode at any time and send all of you to hell. You better use its pieces for another purpose.

Along with the techpriest and the other ones you recited a litany of forgiveness for not using the device for its intended purpose. After the pardoning ritual was over you dismounted the missile and used its pieces for two purposes. Its engine and jet thrusters were repurposed and united to the already existing engines, giving your vehicle and edge in speed.

Its explosive charge was separated and covered in nails and various kinds of shrapnel, with the help of the soldiers and the techpriest you managed to turn it into an trap that could be planted.

After doing so you went to sleep. Tomorrow would be another day.

The loud screaming Waaagh! of the warboss woke you up. Once again you all were called into the hangar.

>Make a Swivel turret for the lascannon.

Las weapons don't have as much destructive power as the plasma weaponry has but it is way safer and easier to use. After waking up there was some free time so you decided to create a turret for the lascannon.

After installing it and checking that it could spin in 360Âş degrees, you got everybody armed and inside and headed into the hangar. Luckily this time there weren't any giant bomb on the way.

Once again the mad Warboss was delivering a speech, this time the massive on his back showed a titanic space hulk that was covered in a pink-ish flesh looking tissue with purple veins and tentacle like protuberances.

"DIS IS A 'ULK DAT SOME SPIKY GITS HAVE TAKEN! I WANT IT FOR ME!"

Everybody screamed and yelled insults at those spiky gits, whoever they were.

"Uhhh? Warboss?"

"Yes Mistah Gutpunch?"

"How are we gunna enter? Da Roks aint ready!"

"WAAGHA!! I KNEW THAT. WE GONNA BE THE ROK!"

The screen then showed what seemed like a massive asteroid and across it the words "OBJEKTIV"

After that the Kroozer started to shoot at the asteroid to breach its surface and empty it. Then it got inside and simply pushed it. Somehow the spaceship was able to push

"DIS WAY THEIR AUSPEX WON'T BE ABLE TO DETECK US! EVERYBODY READY FOR IMPACT! RACERS READY TO LAND!!"

You shared the combat drug with the rest and started to drive. It wouldn't be long until it crash landed and you entered inside.

You drove fast and steadily. Your vehicle wasn't hard to control or steer. Most of the ork racers stood with the engines revving and ready to accelerate in the front of the Kroozer. Their simple minds believed that they could simply descend once the ship crashed but they didn't had into account the kind of damage that the ship would take after the ramming action.

That was a good thing, after the crash land a couple of racers died from the mere impact.

When you felt the vibration of the impact you drove as fast as you could. Under your wheel gretchings and orks died left and right as you drove faster and faster.

You couldn't truly know where to go, only have a hint of where to go focusing on the battling sounds, the closer they were the better.

Just before entering into the space hulk you thought that you would die, a wall exploded violently as they started returning fire. The decompression sent all the present orks flying into the cold void and so did the same with your vehicle.

For an instant both you and the rest of your teammates were exposed to the cold and empty nothingness. One of the Hulk's walls exploded violently too, just in the general direction your vehicle was heading into.

Since it was an Skimmer you couldn't control its movements but if you were lucky enough you might be able to land in the recently opened breach.
>>
>>41755510
You prayed over and over as you locked back and saw the others slowly freezing and trying to cling into the vehicle to not float away.

Violently and as if it were a torpedo you managed to land it. Since you were protected thanks to your power armor you were the most conscious one but the rest were about to die. You managed to drive the vehicle into a tunnel that pressurized after you crossed it.

Shortly after the rest of the gunners started to go back to their senses.

>Try to discover where are you and in what direction run into.

While the rest of the racers rest you try to find a terminal that might tell you where you are. The area around is of obvious human construction but looks as if it had been derelict for hundreds of years. Poor, poor machine spirits.

There are skeletons around, some of them still on their seat. Even if they have o expression on their faces they all have their jaws wide open, as if they had been screaming in complete despair the time they died.

You managed to log in inside a cogitator and get a general report of the ship. It's log had been indeed not been updated in at least seven hundred years. There isn't much more you can get as most data has been corrupted due to not being properly maintained.

Luckily you are able to download a map of the Frigate. It seems that the Hulk has been formed from several ships as there is no way that such a ferric monstrosity can fit in such a small map.

As you end downloading them you return to the driving seat and notice that there are three exits. From one the sounds of Ork screams and engines come, from the other door a different kind of engine and screams come, as if they were inhuman yet melodic and attractive. Finally there was one last door that seemed safe but it was in the opposite direction that you had to take.

>Take the door that leads to the orks. It seems that there are at least a couple of groups battling in the other side.
>Take the door that leads to the other group. Who know what awaits in there but there is only one way of knowing it.
>Head into the safe route even if it makes you take a great detour.

Wandering in spooky hulks isn't the smartest way to go. Better fight a foe we know, and we definitley got ourselves armed for.
>>

>Take the door that leads to the orks. It seems that there are at least a couple of groups battling in the other side.
Did we drug up this time? Having already experienced the race, and having the fortitude to face daemons we might not need it as much as our gunners. On the other hand the drug really seems to get one in an orky mindset.
>>
>>41756185
We are drugged up allright. But that's not enough to protect against posession or insanity.
Imagine if one of us would be posessed by a khornate deamon in our drug induced state.

>Take the door that leads to the orks. It seems that there are at least a couple of groups battling in the other side.

Who know's what kind of Eldritch beast lies on the other side. You better face the ork machines.

Readying your vehicle you drive directly into ork infested door. At the other side two racers that you haven't seen before were fighting each other fiercely.

"Everybody shoot on the big one! Live fighting and die fighting for the Emperor!"

All at once they poked out from their hiding spots and aimed their weapons at the great battle wagon. The Flamer and one of the Sniper Rifles jammed as their respective gunners weren't ready to enter into combat.

The second sniper was ready and managed to quickly aim and shoot. Her bullet went straight into the hull of the vehicle and pierce fiercely, making a hole that crossed the entire vehicle from side to side.

The feral tribalswoman managed to send a stream of bullets directly into a Rokkit Launcha wielding ork. A couple of autogun bullets pierced the ork's chest and the last ones landed directly into its head, the last bullet made its cranium explode violently.

The turret controlling techpriest tried to aim and shoot at the great vehicle but its shoot barely managed to hit and only destroyed a small part of it.

In a fraction of a second everybody started shooting everybody. The Battlewagon tried to launch its entire salvo of explosives and chemical fire at once but the boyz were so eager that they jammed or misfired most of their weapons, with the exception of one, that somehow managed to hit.

>46+4= 50 Points of Damage
>Spidah-Mobeel: 48 HP Left

The recently damaged vehicle aimed their harpoons at you instead of directly attacking the Rokkit Rumbla. The incredibly stable vehicle was steady enough to give the orks a good line of fire and turned their terrible aiming into something admirable.

Flying like an arrow the first harpoon destroyed a great part of your vehicle's hull, as it got logged on the engine cover and ripped it out after retracting back.

>91+1= 92 Points of Damage
>Our vehicle: 58 HP Left.

The second Harpoon flew away shortly after the first one and it broke the windshield before nailing itself deep inside your ribs. After piercing your armor and bones its hooks opened, completely trapping you. The gunner then smiled mischievously as he pulled the lever that retracted the harpoon.

You flew away from the driver's seat carrying a great amount of crystals with you. The harpoon's hooks closed in mid-air. Liberating your from their grasp but also making you free without any control. As if you were a dead weight you spin in the air and fell heavily.

Using your last strengths you tried to call your companions so they could rescue you but nothing went out from your lungs. Your vox-caster had been broken, completely muting you. A dark tunnel like fog started forming around your vision, you were cold and completely unable to move.

The last thing you heard and strange and alien sounding voice and then...nothing.

How the fuck did a chest shot break our vox caster?
>>
>>41758046
Probably shot critical systems, and secondary and triarchy systems are shutting down to maintain the primary ones
>>
>>41758082
Given we have a fleshy human chest under the armor mostly I fail to see how.
>>
>>41757999
>Are the rest of our guys fucked?
They already were

>Can the other techpriest drive?
The ones with most chance of driving the vehicle now are the ganger or the guardsmen duo as they are the ones who might had more driving experience.

In fact Heracor learned how to drive during his time on the guard.

>>41758046
>how is this maybe surviving?
We have been left for dead in a Space Hulk that has orks and spiky gits inside. We aren't dead yet.

>Any of the others have driving experience?
They better have. Otherwise they are fucked up.

>Will they notice we're gone before they crash?
We have to roll that. We will do it in the next thread.

>Why didn't the orks just reel us in and choppa us to death?
They believe we are dead, besides leaving a great combat and going back to finish of some 'umie isn't very orky.

>How the fuck did a chest shot break our vox caster?
I might have not explained myself clearly. The vox caster broke after our impact against the ground.
>>
>>41758125
Really? We have lot of upgrading to do then.
>>
>>41758146
can we fly after the car?
>>
>>41758272
In the next thread we will have to roll how the driver-less vehicle goes. It might crash.

After that we will see if Heracor survives and is able to fly after the Trukk or if the things that are coming and lurk those corridors catch him first.
>>
>>41758146
>We have been left for dead in a Space Hulk that has orks and spiky gits inside. We aren't dead yet.
Get a harpoon ork sized harpoon in or chest with barbs pulling us? That's goodbye lungs and circulatory system at minimum. We'd bleed out in seconds.

>They believe we are dead, besides leaving a great combat and going back to finish of some 'umie isn't very orky.
Not what I ask, why didn't they just reel in their harpoon with us on it and then finish us and the nice bits to their vehicle?
So we're lost and double heretic now aren't we? Considering we will not be able to do anything for far longer than a week, if we can actually do anything before bleed out or a xeno kills us.

>>41758178
Yeah but we've been working on making ourselves more killy or getting better gear. our legs and arms are replaced as is our face and skull, but considering the marginal benefits and long recovery time, we've only replaced our lungs and stomach chest wise.

>>41758272
If our Vox caster is broken Literally everything else will be too. Especially our wings and jets since they're fragile, and even if they aren't they'd likely blow up if we tried.
>>
>>41758305
can the other dudes get rolls to survive the crash?
>>
>>41758308
>Not what I ask, why didn't they just reel in their harpoon with us on it and then finish us and the nice bits to their vehicle?

Well, sending a dying body flying across the room and see it violently crash against the wall is way more Brutal that simply chop it up once it is at reach.

There were two ways of doing this. The correct way and the orky way. Guess which one they choose.

>So we're lost and double heretic now aren't we? Considering we will not be able to do anything for far longer than a week, if we can actually do anything before bleed out or a xeno kills us.

After this race the Ork Kroozer will head into the third and last location. If we manage to get an spaceship or something capable of going after them we will be able to participate on that last race. During the trip we might be lucky and have enough time to recover.

>If our Vox caster is broken Literally everything else will be too. Especially our wings and jets since they're fragile, and even if they aren't they'd likely blow up if we tried.
Well, that's just another reason to survive. They can be repaired back in the Inquisitorial Cruiser.

>>41758318
We'll do that in the next thread.
>>
>>41758467
How? We should logically be dead in about 1 minute, from wounds causing massive bleeedout. If not from that from both lungs ruptured or Heart being ripped up. Not counting xenos.
