What's that like? Pretty great I imagine.

You know, maybe what's making me so uselessly bored is the fact I still don't know if Katlin is magical girl or not. I mean, even if she isn't, she'd still be more danger than if she wasn't, since if she she could at least defend herself from any monster than made a house call.

And besides, this would at least give me an excuse to spend some time with my little sis even if it leads to nothing but nothing.

I sit up and get off the bed, my legs aching a bit from not moving so much for so long. I hold myself up on my bed, before I get my balance back and walk over to my bedroom door, which is now covered in claw marks from foolish trying to get through it, which made mom toss him in the backyard for most of the day.

I frown, poor little thing doesn't really deserve that. But he did nearly turn my door into sawdust so, yeah actually Foolish kind of deserves that actually. I shrug, don't know why I'm thinking about foolish now, maybe I can teach it a trick later today.

I walk into the hallway, and take a step or two to my sister's bedroom door, I shake the handle, locked. and no response.

I sigh and take a step back, putting my hands on my hips as I try to figure out the easiest way to deal with this.

Now, as much as I'd like to do something that at the first thought of it would seem easier than knocking, if fighting monsters has taught me anything, the simplest solution is often the best, and most importantly easiest.

I slowly raise my hand up, clenching it into a fist, before I hammer it down as hard as I can on the door, shaking the wooden cat sign hanging from it as I shout "HEY KAT!!!"

I chuckle as I hear my littlest sister yelp in surprise, as she stumbles and trips over what sounds like most of her room.

I take a step back, with a shit eating grin across my lips as I try not to laugh to loudly as the lock on the door slowly turns around and clicks.

Kat peeks out, wearing a sleeping cap with two little cow horns sticking out of the top of it. She looks up at me sleepily, and more than a bit miffed.

"What do you want?" She groans , looking up at me with half open eyes "I was just asleep then you know, and I was having a good dream to"

"I just wanted to ask you something" I say shrugging "besides only me and mom are allowed to sleep through most of the day anyways"

"Yeah well, I couldn't sleep last night, so forgive me" She mumbles "So what's so important that you had to rouse me from my eternal slumber?"

"Are you a magical girl?" I ask looking down at my littler sister.

She stares at me for a few moments, probably because she's still mostly asleep and I know I couldn't answer what one plus one is when I'm just waking up. She blinks rubs her eyes, purses her lips, turns around, and tries to close the door. But there is another great thing about fighting monsters, you get a lot better reflexes. I stick my foot out and stop the door, grabbing it and pulling it open as she struggles to close it, making whimpering noises, which I hear foolish copy from behind the door to the back yard.

"Yeah, I got these back, remember?" I say smiling as she continues to try and force the door closed.

"How could I forget that" She says as she continues to pull against the door "not like it was a big deal or anything"

"Kat look I'm just worried about" I begin to say

"Why would you be worried about me?" She asks, her voice cracking "all you ever do is go out an fight monsters or sleep, even after you nearly killed yourself, why are just worried about me?"

"Because you're my little sister, and I don't want you doing what I'm doing" I say smiling "simple really"

"Yeah well I don't want you doing what I'm doing" She huffs as she tugs on the door a few more times

"Whuzzat?" Amanda groans from somewhere in the living room.

"Nothing" I say quickly before turning back to katlin "Yeah well, I can't really stop now"

"I know but you should at least try and worry about yourself for once" She whimpers as she tugs hard as she can at the door, not budging it an inch

"Well why should I, I mean, I already have you, mom, dad, Amanda, Charlotte, Belladonna, Delia, and maybe Jaime to worry aout me" I say smiling " oh and Min to, I guess.no need to waste my time worrying about myself when I can worry about others, so are you going to give me a straight answer or do I have to keep the holding the door open?"

Katlin frowns and glares at me, before smirking for a second.

I let go of the door, and pull her into a hug, lifting her up off the ground for a few seconds as she tries to push and kick me away. I laugh and gently put her back down on the ground.

She chuckles happily,readjusting her shirt and sleeping cap.

"You know, I kind of expected you to be yelling by now" She says sheepishly "But this is good to"

"Yeah, it is isn't it?"
I say smiling, before I look around to make sure mom isn't looking over my shoulder already "Ur, lets talk a bit more about this someplace where mom won't hear us, okay?"

"Yeah that's probably a good idea" she says sounding a bit nervous.

We walk down the stairs and out the back door, trying to not wake Amanda up again as she lays slumped over on the back of the couch, snoring softly.

I open the door and step out, Foolis whimpering and trying to force it's way past me back into the house, which is kind of hard for it, seeing as it's wearing it's human disguise.

"Okay, where out of the dangerous zoe" Katlin says flatly as she yawns "So what did you want to talk about this?"

"You haven't used the locket right?" I ask.

Katlin nods slowly, as foolish tries to force the door open.

Sparing is how to git gud, if she gits gud she can be safer.

I try to answer my little sister, still wearing her pajamas, as foolish continues to try and figure pen with out walking through it or breaking it. I find my eyes slowly drawn to my dog that's currently looking pretty human due to the fake boy it's wearing.

"Foolish" I sigh , rubbing my forehead "Just turn the handle and push, okay"

Foolish grabs the handles and twists it, slowly pushing the door open, before it leaps out of its fake body and shakes itself, before it drags it's now limp fake second body into the house, by its wrist.

"We really need to get some dog doors for foolish don't we?" Katlin says dully

"Anyways, yeah sure don't I have anything to do today anyways, but what do you want to do?" I ask

You know,, fuck it, I just got my legs back, katlin has a locket, foolish is starting to get a bit less stupid, and we have enough girls out there now that we can all take a day off without worrying about someone getting eaten by a monster or something similarly terrible, besides, we deserve to celebrate after all we've been through lately.

"So are we going to go now?!" Katlin asks excitedly, clenching her fists as she stands thee, almost shaking where she stands.

After some walking, we manage to get to Min's manor, in all it's overgrown and purple glory, we also ran into Jaime on the way, and Charlotte dragged her along with us, and judging from the music, and the fact I can see them on the roof, bel and Delia are already here.

I walk up to the door and knock. the door swings open with a whoosing sound.

Min bounces or wobbles down the floating stairs, carrying a large pile of books as blue flames follow her lighting her path.

You know, this may actually be interesting to see right here. I stop just inside the manor and watch the minotauress witch put down all of the books she's carrying in a big stack floor as everyone walks past me and towards the drift wood door. Min slowly raise her hands hands into the air, as Jaime takes a step back and winces as all the candles blow out and... old timey swing music begins to play loudly as the room rearanges itself quickly, clearing out most of it as the lights dim and multi colored lights flare up and dance around.

Jaime looks around and blushes as Min giggles.

"What, were you expecting something nastier?" Min laughs as she follows everyone else to the door leaving her books alone "Kids these days I swear.

I find myself stepping to the slow and steady beat as I follow the rest of my friends and my little sister through the door, into the self contained little field.

A warm breeze blows across it, making the grass dance around as a few trees burst out of the ground,constructing themsselves from nothing but blue light that look a bit like giant pixels.

Katlin, Jaime, and Delia look around in amazement as Charlotte stands next to me ans Min, Amanda and Belladonna head towards the pond.

"Brings back some fun memories doesn't it?" Charlotte says teasingly as she nudges me, still hiding the thing behind her back.

"Aw, what's wrong?" I ask putting my mouth right next to her ear, I can hear her breathing get faster and faster as I get closer and closer "I thought you liked being between these two"

She nods quickly, before she shakes her head, I chuckle and let go of her other arm, and press her chin up as I get oh so teasingly closer to her with the other hand, causing her to shiver.

I smile as I kick my legs to stay afloat, of this feels so good being able to move them again, and it's not like I didn't earn this. Charlotte splashes me once, before she smiles and swims away quickly, doing laps around the pond I think, or maybe just trying to escape my watery wrath, who knows.

I look at the start of our castle, and quickly realize we need some help to make it the best damn sandcastle it can possibly be.

"Hey Jaime" I say turning towards her stil wrapped up in a towel, hiding whatever swimsuit she may be wearing "want to help us a bit?"

She opens her mouth to say something, but before she does.

"Come on it will be fun" Katlin says happily as she puts up the second sand tower

Jaime dusts her hands off and smiles happuly, before she stops suddenly.

I watch her black wings knock it far to the right, where charlotte was floating peacefully moments before, but was now rocketing across the water towards it.

I toss it in the air, and hold my hands together as I go to hit it back towards Bel and Delia, but just before I hit it, a flash of light blinds me for a second.

I have an idea, that I will admit I got from mine and Charlotte's splash fight earlier, with just a bit of fire mahic, I can send myself rocketing into the air, and be able to spike the ball down hard enough that neither belledonna or Delia will be able to do anything to stop it.

Well if they're not going to play fair, then I['m not going to either. I close my eyes, and think of thorns, sun light, drinking nice clean and crisp water, about flowering and growing and.

I open my eyes, as my legs fuses together in a mess of roots that keep me floating up right, as giant light purple petals flow and grow out around my waist, covering the now undone bottom half of my bikini as thorned vines slowly lash around from around my stem. I feel the vines wither and die, the petals curls up and fall off as the roots wrap back together reforming my legs as I stretch and feel something touch just below the the bottom of my spine and right above my...rump.

I yelp in surprise and turn to she charlotte tying the bottom of my bikini back up.

"T...thanks Char" I say feeling really embarrassed now

"Don't mention it" She says happily as she gives me a quick hug "You'd do the same for me, I hope at least"

I nod and walk out of the pond with Charlotte, Belledonna, and Delia.

and walk across the field to the open door on the other end, and into a chaotic slurry of colors, old timey music, what I think are those tree men I burnt to a crisp the first time I came here judging from the looks they give me , Jaime hanging from a chandelier which is hanging from nothing as Min laughs manically, Katlin trying the various cookies and tea Min makes rapidly growing from mouse sized to nearly filling the room in a few moments but she seems to be enjoying herself with it. Amanda trying to read one of the books Min dropped earlier, Delia dancing happily with nothing as Bel stands around awkwardly.

"Wow" Charlotte says "just wow this is a bit too much don't you think?"

"That doesn't sound much like you" I say teasingly as we walk towards the chaos of the party

"Eh, don't like the music at all" She sighs heavily "If the music was something else I'd probably like it a lot more"
