The good news is that he is currently weaker than his father, and will not be able to steal strength like King Piccolo did." The way he speaks implies a lot more is going on in his mind. Kami looks off in the distance. "...and the better news is that, if you all do your best in training, you will be able to surpass him completely."

You rub your chin. Well, good news is good news, you guess. "So.. about Shenron? How does this all work? I have to admit I'm a bit interested on creation process of a wish-granting dragon."

As if on cue, Mr. Popo arrives with a model of the dragon. Quite a bit smaller in structure than you remember. Kami looks down at it in concern. "At least there are no missing pieces..." He looks back at you all. "Shenron's model and his ability to grant wishes are linked to members of the Dragon Clan such as myself. The magic involved requires things that few can comprehend, much less access and manipulate." He then seems to look at Trip for a moment.

"How did a Namekian like yourself end up on Earth, anyway?" you question.

"I came to care for this world as my true home. In spite of the struggles it has been through, the evils that have arisen here, I love this planet with all my heart, and believe in the potential of the people of Earth."

"We will do our best to reinforce that belief." Trip tells him with a smile.

"Anything else you need us to do? I mean, I could probably just borrow some from Bulma if you need modeling glue that badly. Is there more to this?" you ask. Kami chuckles.

"IT SHALL BE DONE." Shenron's booming voice declares, his eyes give a flash of red. You look over to the bodies of the fallen. A glow envelops them... and they slowly awaken, all damage to them undone. Your eyes start to water as you see your brother rise.

The whole fight with King Piccolo was pretty much Maple mixing physical attacks with Ki blasts and using Kaioken when possible.

Elemental armors are pretty cool, I'll admit, but they don't seem to give Maple any useful advantage. It's better to dodge a hit than to tank a hit, and if we're getting hit by an enemy within our power level, then we can tank it just fine.

Developing skills like ultra-fast reflexes and ki-sense/precog hybrid skills like those described on Kato's ask.fm would be a better use of our time. Being able to react or initiate much faster than the norm for Maple's power level enables her to defend well and also to hit out of her weight class. The ki-sense/precog/psychic hybrid skill will ideally allow her to not only anticipate attacks better, but what type of attack the opponent is going to use. It's like having some sort of Jedi Spidey Sense.
