Worlds collide and clash, as doors open and energy floods in, all with one destination. Forces beyond sight smash together and impact with shattering explosions. Two grand armies match up against their counterpart, one of the abyss and one of existence. And into this, a change is about to occur, something to shift the balance.

You are… Well you’re still not entirely sure who you are. You’re a roughly 25 year old human male, that much you know. Beyond that? You’re only starting to remember your past. You know that you come from an urbanised world with a number of distinct nations spread across its face and no space colonies as well as a name - Varytita, one that you have decided to keep for now.

One thing that you do know now with certainty is that you, or We, are what is known as a Spirit Pair - two souls sharing a single physical frame that allows the two of you to use all the powers you both possess. You also discovered who your spirit pair was - due to a crit success on the roll, it is Tiamat, the Gravitic Draconus.

One pretty surreal day later involving transforming Liches, Satan, Mario, one of the most powerful beings in existence, some serious injuries, dealing some serious injuries and some momentary losing the grip on “reality”, you have found yourself standing in a field, having annihilated a respectable Skaven Army in the Universe of Warhammer Fantasy during the end times, with a number of tainted warpstone bullets buried in your side.

Transformation ++: Transforms your frame into an androgynous human dragon hybrid (removing clothes) possessing far greater strength, durability and speed than it would appear possible for a roughly man sized individual. Add three to Strength, Durability and Speed for parts transformed. Full body transformation is possible and advised for nastier fights.

Draconic Flight ++: When your torso is transformed, you gain a pair of wings that are more than capable of launching you into the air and a tail to help you direct yourself. The tail and wings are both more than capable of smacking things around. You seem to remember being better at this.

Draconic Senses +: When your head is transformed, you can take use of a Dragon’s senses, which are superior to a humans. Add one to senses when transformed. These can be improved by further focus or specifically added to the human frame. You still are unused to these senses most basic level and cannot tap further into them.

Disintegration breath +: A technique that forcibly moves atoms away from each other when struck by this energy, blasting the affected apart at a molecular level. Using this technique will require a backlash roll. It is small and lacks focus, but is definitely potent.

Regeneration +: Over time, you will regenerate from damage. It won’t save you an arm, but it’ll recover most light injuries. You get the feeling that this ability is a lot weaker than it once was.

Memory Rush: Over time, your memories and Tiamat’s regarding you will return. This will lead to knowledge and improved abilities as you remember who you once were and how you could fight. Major events, triggers or massive damage may accelerate this process.

Murdering stuff of at least a certain power level will give you Anima. Anima can be spent to improve abilities or improve your frame. 100 Anima is required to improve an ability from + or * to ++ or ** respectively, doubling in requirement each time you want to improve one. Once you hit a certain point, you will improve in rank, gaining relative stat boosts around the board but the level of abilities you have will remain the same, only they will be objectively better.

You suddenly feel an incredible pain lance up your side as Mario swears suddenly. You look around woozily and note that all but one of the bullets have been removed from your side by Mario's energies. However, something bad has happened to the last one. At least you think that. You're not very coherent right now. Isn't that right, Tiamat? "Yah, we aren't very coherent right now. I'm sleepy. Oh, the injury sight has turned green. That's not normal. Oh, and we're in our human form again. Oh well."

Outside of your derped mind, things have gone very bad, very quickly. Mario has accidentally cracked one of the bullets and it's taint leaked out all at once and got inside your bloodstream. You are currently being raced to the Monastery on the back of a horse while the mages try and stabilise you, Mario is now completely out of his league. You are being poisoned by the taint very rapidly.

It's currently a race to the Monastery where the Lord reckons there's something there that will get the taint out of your blood completely. He's not saying what that is, but all this movement is attracting attention.

There is now the toxin metre and the distance metre. Both start at 0. I will be rolling D30's for the progression of the poison. There will be a pair of random encounters. You have to fight off the enemies in these encounters without loosing speed. You will also be rolling d10's to represent the wizard's efforts to slow the poison down.

It'sa me Mario, and I may have justa royally fucked upa. You see, I was helping my pal out with some bullets, but I may have just slightly, just a teeny weeny little bit uh, made it worse?

Either way, we're being chased by beastmen now. There's a large mob of these centaur looking things chasing us now. They all have spears and shields. There's a good 20 of them.

I spin around and fly up, rapidly gaining height as power pulses from the Acceleration Seal. I spin around and begin throwing fireballs down at the Centaurs. They are not expecting such a thing and two of them hit the ground immediately. The others then wise to the trick and begin throwing javelins upwards at me, knocking some of the fireballs out of midair.

I switch to lightning, electricity arcing into the metal spear heads of the javelins before they could be thrown, jarring several centaurs and sending one to the floor, where he trips another. The others angrily return fire at me, one javelin sinking into my right leg. It hurts, but i'll keep fighting. I've got to redeem myself.

I dive down on the centaurs, catching them by surprise. I crash into the front, the lightning sheath protecting me from damage while bowling over a pair of centaurs. I immediately being punching out, catching one on the chest while he's still going full tilt, the fist bursting straight through his chest and smashing his organs over everything in a raining fountain of gore and entrails. I catch another one by the face as he races past as well, only, he's going so fast that he leaves his head behind in my rock hard grip while the rest tears off and continues on its way, the face contorting in surprise as it tries to work out what just happened.

The Centaurs buck and spin wildly, circling around to have another go at me, ramming into each other while doing so. All the easier. I begin cracking skulls, flaming fists pulping brain matter and liquefying eyes and flesh. I watch a disembodied tongue go flying past before flapping over the eyes of another centaur before i smash it right out of the back of his skull, tongue still intact.

A quick whirlwind of gore later, and they're all dead, as I race to catch back up.

I rejoin the galloping knights as a thunderous bellow echoes from behind you. The Knights don't look back but they increase their pace to the maximum. Looking a bit closer, every back, even the Lord, is pale as a ghost and the horses have large rolling eyes from fear. I ask what thata thing is? I get one word in response

"Ghorgon."

An enormous THING charges out of the woods behind me, gaining ground with every huge loping stride. Another bellow of rage tears from its throat as it charges forward.

It's going way too fast. I'ma have to kill this thing if we're going to make it in time.

Alrighta then, ugly. You anda me. Mano e Mano. I fly forward before hovering directly before the Ghorgon. It stops moving. Time slows down as a warp tumbleweed bounces past. I can hear the winds of magic flowing past. The Knights stop dashing and reign in to watch. I can hear the little men with maracas shaking off to the side as one of the little warp men produces a small drum.

Wind rustles my lab coat as the Ghorgon snorts angrily.

THE BELL RINGS!

I rocket forward and spin over the side of his clumsy punch as I grasp the monster's wrist and flip it over, smashing the entire beast onto the ground. He quickly rises and throws a punch at me, a punch that I meet with one of my own, the impact blasting him backwards. I fly forwards, smashing blow after blow into his side as the beast stumbles. I quickly fly up and deliver a ringing punch to his chin, snapping his neck back up as a few teeth go flying.

That's not enough though. It will never be enough.

I spin over him and take the bull by the horns, literally, before spinning up and around and over. With a mighty, Italian effort, I grasp the Ghorgon

Oh wait, one last thing.

I go deep into my recesses of memory and summon up my power. As light shines forth from my body, I summon the ultimate entity.

You roll out of bed and begin transforming as you dash at the vampire, who begins turning, his look of surprise changing to one of cool focus. As you reach him, around 3/4 transformed, he calmly reaches out, catches your arm as you swing at him and holds you there. You blast out with repelling gravitic energies, blasting furnishings away. His grip doesn't loosen as he casually throws you to the back of the room again.

Before you attempt to rise, now fully transformed, he's directly in front of you. Well, the time that I started today is for me about 10:15 in the morning. So fast forward about 9-10 hours. Maybe a little less.

Mario did get stronger, notably. He can now summon up Mario Kart related powers. and got an overall boost.
