It's been several days since your date with Broly wrapped up, the two of you enjoying yourselves quite a bit. After the movie had finished up it was a quick jaunt over towards a nearby restaurant where you both ate your fill once again while enjoying each other's company through the night. Finally wrapping things up as you took Broly home and got a kiss on the cheek in return, along with a promise that you'd have to do things again sometime soon.

Unfortunately, it seemed as though some of the food didn't agree with the girl, with her winding up in bed the next day sick with a case of food poisoning. Considering how hearty saiyans are, especially when it comes to the matter of food, the fact that she reacted this way probably means that she might have eaten something that her body really just does not agree with.

With your female counterpart out of comission for the next few days, you ended up spending your time going around doing various small tasks and trying to spend some time with those that you've gotten close to.

Bardock and Raditz have been spending more time together than ever before while the father awaits his next assignment. The two constantly training or staying at home and enjoying a rare chance to actually have some family time with Gine, who is starting to show some hints of her pregnancy... mostly in the strange things she's started to eat. The family has extended an offer to allow you to come by whenever you want, to train, eat, or just hang around

General Nappa offered to take you on as sort of an apprentice, learning more of how the saiyan military actually works, and how things go under the thumb of Frieza's men. How to be a proper commander, lead the men, all that sort of stuff, it might be worth it to take him up on his offer.

Princess Vegeta, quite amazingly, has actually started to act more civil towards you ever since the afternoon you spent with her. No longer are there constant insults being flung about by the girl in your direction, instead she's even started to ask for your advice every now and then when there's something she's confused about. By no mean is she starting to call you her big brother, but hey, it's better than before.

The last member of your little crew, Hanasia, has been devoting most of her time to training up the Princess during their free time, you haven't seen her around very often outside of the few times you flew out with Vegeta towards the training area. Rather than asking you to join them, the older woman adopted that teasing tone she normally has and shood you off, saying that girls need to keep a few secrets. Other than that, the only time you've seen her was when you passed by a bar and saw her drinking alone, not exactly looking like the 'normal' Hanasia. Her training with Vegeta is off for today, since the King needed his daughter for a few things

Despite some of his rather ecentric tendencies that pop up from time to time, General Nappa is still a man that is very worthy of your respect. During the Great Tuffle War he was one of the commanders that lead the saiyans to victory, and ever since your race had joined the PTO, he'd been the one in charge of assignments and general strategy as the commander of the army.

Considering you were slightly 'weird' in your own special little way, and the great power you had within you, Nappa had taken a shining to you a few years ago. Since you weren't technically a warrior yet, he couldn't actually do much beyond playing a few simple games with you, the type that are meant to stimulate the mind and promote growth.

Not exactly the typical saiyan hobby, but you were both weird, so it wasn't like it really mattered in the end right?

Now that he's actually offered to give you a bit of training in military strategy and tactics, it would be pretty hard to actually pass something like that up, thus, after scarfing down a quick breakfast today, you were quickly shooting through the air to get to the saiyan command center were the large man could normally be found.

It was fairly easy to get inside and all, saiyans aren't exactly ones to prevent others from going where they want, and since you're the Prince, they wouldn't have the guts to stop you anyways. Thus, it's a fairly easy journey through the building, the dull lights of terminals illuminating your way towards the command room proper.

Just as you're entering, Nappa turns around and sees you coming through, a grin popping up on the bald man's face when he notices. "Prince Broosel! Glad you decided to come by, I was hoping that you would." It seems he's rather pleased with your decision.

Glancing at the monitor that Nappa is observing, you notice quite a lot of information is streaming by on it. Reports from Commanders out in the field, requests for additional missions to be taken on, along with a few odd codes that you don't really understand, but that's probably on purpose.

"Tell me Bruce. You're a smart kid, have you done any research on tactics and strategy on your own? I need to know what I'm working with if we're going to have you as my apprentice for this sort of thing." Nappa questions you while still staring at the screen.

That's right, the General has joked around here and there about having you as the once to replace him in a few years as the next commander of the saiyan army. Quite the honor really, especially with how young you are. Even as a Prince though, the commander needs to know what he's doing, and that requires both experience and proper training.

"We've currently got quitea few squads out on missions right now, some experienced, some not. Most of them already have another job lined up for the future once they get back from the current one." Nappa explains while bringing up the various squadrons on the main screen for you to see.

"The only reason we haven't sent you or Bardock back out yet is because we're expecting another bunch of High Priority missions from the PTO to come in any day now, and since you guys are our aces, it's better to keep you on standby rather than risk you not being here when we really need you."

Tapping a few holokeys on the terminal to his side, Nappa brings up a picture of three different saiyans, two males and a female. "These are Leta, Pru, and Cabba, three of the squadron leader's we're expecting back any day now. They're going to need new assignments, and I want you to help me pick who should get what, think you can handle it?" He questions, glancing down at you.

"The kid has a squad of saiyans around his own age and power level, they aren't elites, but they're doing good for themselves so far, they've got a lot they want to prove. They're the ones that have been out working for the least amount of time to far, still fresh in more ways than one."

Bringing up the next set of images, there's a man that looks about the same age as Bardock, with a variety of scars going all over his face. "Pru, he's a vet from the Tuffle war, a mean son of a bitch at that, I wouldn't want to mess with him even. He and his squad have been going for a long time now, they could probably use a rest but we need them for at least one more job before that can happen." Nappa explains before swiping away the images.

"Last but not least, we have Cabba, her squad have been around for a while, theyve got a solid record but nothing outstanding so far. They've probably got a few more missions they can pull off before they absolutely need a rest."

Tapping your chin a few times, you pull your legs up onto the... whatever it is you're sitting on and adopt a thinking pose. This is some important stuff it sounds like, well, last one at least, so you should probably try to think things through.

"Cabba should take the purge, it'll be easy for her and her squad, keep them fresh and on standby if anything else comes up after they're finished." You start, sounding rather confident with yourself for that one choice.

"As for the others... if Pru has been going for a long time, the escort might allow him and his squad to heal up and rest, but that would leave the last mission to Leta, and if his group is inexperienced, they might not be able to handle the hardest mission themselves." Thinking out loud, you can notice that Nappa is watching you, waiting to see what your final choice may be for this set of assignments.

There is a bit of a way around it though... maybe, you and your crew don't have anything at the moment that's worth sitting around for, even if there might be a high profile mission coming in soon for you. This one is right here and ready for the taking if you so choose to actually pursue the thing.

Nappa seems rather surprised that you'd actually ask this of him, and seems to consider it. "Well, we might be able to pull that off? I'd really rather have you around here though kid, the mission we've got coming soon for you and your crew is supposed to be really big, and since Bardock is gonna have his own thing, I'm not sure if we could put it on anyone else. You'd be giving up a big score I think."

"I've got a bit of time before I'm scheduled for another meeting with the King and the council, feel free to stick around if you want, might be able to pick up a thing or two if you listen in enough." He offers, seemingly all right with whatever choice you actually want to make here since he's seen a hint of your skill today.

Since it's probably almost time for first lunch, and Bardock and Gine DID in fact extend the offer for you to come around whenever you wanted to, it's kinda hard to not want to drop by and get some of Gine's glorious food for lunch time.

Saying your goodbyes to Nappa, you're once again flying through the air of Vegeta City on Planet Vegeta, ruled by King Vegeta.

Some might say the man has an ego problem, but you can't possibly see why they might do that, not like there are any sort of clues around that would imply such a thing, nope, no sir not at all.

It doesn't take you very long to reach the apartment of Bardock's family, the sounds of bustling activity able to be heard through the door, but no voices at the moment.

A quick knock of the door leads to someone speaking up though. "Raditz, get the door please!" You're able to hear Gine call out to her son, along with some muffled words from someone else, who you assume is Raditz, things go silent for a second until you hear what sounds like a blade being drawn and a yelp before the door is suddenly opened up and a nervous looking Raditz is standing there.

"O-oh, hey Bruce, what's up? Come on in!" Your friend says, moving out of the doorway to allow you inside, attempting to silently swallow his nervousness for whatever reason.

You can see Gine in the kitchen preparing food, and hear the sound of running water down the hallway, must be Bardock cleaning up to prepare for lunch.

"Prince Broosel? Nice to see you, will you be joining us for lunch?" The rather weak but incredibly sweet and polite soon to be once again mother asks from her station in the kitchen where she's flourishing her blades for another go at the ingredients in front of her.

You tell the woman with all of the knives surrounding her. Gine is really nice but damn if the way she handles those blades so naturally doesn't freak you out and make your tail feel extremely vulnerable.

Raditz himself is even slightly hiding behind you as Gine starts to go to town on the vegetables and meats in front of her.

"W-would you like any help Gine? Since I'm here and all?" You offer to assist her, since maybe if you do that, she'll stop freaking you out with the knives and all.

"Hmm? Oh that would be lovely Bruce, thank you." She says with a soft smile. "Raditz, go wash your hands and clean up a bit would you? Lunch should be ready soon."

In just a few seconds your friend has vanished from the area and you're left alone with Gine. Moving up to the counter to assist her with the cooking, since you offered and all, you're soon peeling some kind of... thing, while Gine continues on with her own tasks.

She asks you how the date with Broly went, and seems rather pleased that things ended up going so well for the two of you.

Watching the woman cook, chop, dice, everything, you're actually picking up a few techniques here and there from Gine, maybe your own cooking skills will improve at some point as to where you won't have to rely on take out or mooching every day.
