"Maple be real, you probably know how to fight him even better than I do." Krillin says with a laugh.

"If you say so." You stick your tongue out at him, then turn to your mentor. "Master Roshi, you think the Turtle School will get a lot of new students?"

"Maybe it will. Aheh, well... perhaps there will be more lovely ladies like sweet little Launch around. Aheh heh heh..." His face gains a blush and he seems to start drooling.

"Fighters ready? Then the last round of the semifinals starts now!"

Arale runs at Goku, trying to land a dropkick on him. Goku however reacts with almost perfect speed, keeping his distance when he can. The girl keeps up her chase, and manages to grab hold of Goku by the tail. She swings him into the air and then tries to headbutt him... but Goku manages to stop himself in time, dodging her and flipping off of her head, floating in the air as Arale falls back to the ground. She gets up and smiles.

"You've gotten better, Goku!" she compliments, dusting herself off. Arale tries rushing Goku again, this time attempting a hard chop. Goku dodges aside, causing her to hit the floor... and break the arena in two. While the audience looks on in shock and amazement, Goku is grinning wildly. The monkey boy takes to the air again, Arale apparently starting up her beam weapon, Goku charging up a Kamehameha. "N'CHA!" she shouts as she fires... and Goku moves to the side at the last minute, the beam striking an afterimage, firing his Kamehameha. Arale tries to jump out of the way, but Goku manages to bend the technique upwards, clocking her right in the face.

"Heh, I'm trying my hardest, Arale!" Goku tells the robot girl as he flies down, attempting to land a punch. Arale catches the strike... but then her eyes go wide as Goku makes a gun shape with his hand. "Because I made a promise! Geist Magnum!" The point blank attack hits her hard, sending her falling back. She flips and manages to stand, again trying to fire her "N'Cha" beam, only for Goku to leave several afterimages in his place. Arale looks at them all as they seem to approach, a bit confused. She opts to fire another beam, this time sweeping it around and blasting out all the afterimages... but not Goku, who's in the air again, falling with a shout of "JAN! KEN!" The three ki-powered strikes hit Arale hard, but for the last one she catches Goku and slams him into the ground.

"Haha! This is so much fun!" she says as Goku slowly gets up.

"Not gonna give up! I'll never give up!" Goku charges at Arale, powerful blows crashing down on her. The robot girl seems to still be ready to fight, but you can tell she's starting to lose steam. Goku lands a powerful uppercut that sends her skywards, then chases after and slams her to the ground. "Kaaaa... meeee... haaaaa..."

Arale stands and seems to build up even more energy than before. She smiles at Goku, then unleashes a terrifyingly powerful blast that seems to roar "N'CHA!" into your ears.

But Goku, wasn't where she was aiming. That was one last afterimage. He's behind her. "MEEEE..." he then turns his hands back into the air. "HAAAAAAAA!" He flies at Arale, propelled by the beam. You and all your friends notice an amazing amount of ki built up into his fist. It's... it's almost like ten times what his normal strength is. "I'll put everything I've got into this move! Coming through! RRAAAAAGH!" Goku seems to almost roar at Arale, landing a blow to her gut... that sends her, and him with her, flying out of the arena. Arale crashes into the wall, out of bounds first, clear to everyone watching.

"A-amazing! Ladies and gentlemen, Goku has successfully hit Arale out of the ring! Goku will advance to the finals!"

The monkey boy seems to almost collapse onto the ground. Arale stands up first, then helps him up. "Well... you won! Good job, Goku!"

There's nothing else to really prep for, but you've come so far since you arrived on Earth. All the friends you've made, foes you've faced, how strong you've become. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your patience! The final round will start shortly!"

Well, there's your cue. You head back to the ring, and find the rest of the Turtle School students there, gathered near the entrance. Goku arrives too, devouring a couple friend squids. Everyone gives their turn telling you and him bits of encouragement.

You both step forward with smiles on your faces. The Announcer gives his little speech, and you both take your stances.

You first decide to try to test the waters a bit, and dash at Goku. You make for a strike at his face, only for him to catch your fist and throw you. Landing on your feet, you then attempt to throw Goku instead, only for him to strike you in the head with his tail. He then picks you up by the ankle as you're dazed and tosses you into the air, chasing after and striking you in the face as you're slightly dazed. The two of you back up, hovering for a moment. "H-heh... you've really improved, Goku."

"And you're holding back, Maple." He dashes, leaving an afterimage. This time, though, you're ready, and right as he attempts to make his move you strike him in the gut, blasting him with a Phantom Shotgun and sending him falling to the ground. You follow it up with a Geist Magnum, with a bit of Lightning added, and fire at Goku. He tries to get out of the way, but the blast hits him in the tail. Even with all the training he's done, that seems to hurt quite a bit. Goku backs up and takes his stance. His face is gleeful.

The monkey boy then dashes at you and tries to use the Ki Jan Ken. You stop him in his tracks with another quick, telekinetic hard stop, and kick him in the jaw, sending him face-first into the Tournament floor. You try to follow up, with an axe kick, though Goku rolls out of the way just in time, tackling you to the ground. He makes for an attempt to punch you, but you quickly push him off, backing up. The two of you get some distance, taking your stances again.

"How much do you think I'm holding back now?" you say, knowing exactly what you mean by that.

Not to be an asshole, but a fighter and a martial artist are very different.

And most of both were total fucking assholes regarding actual fighting.

If you are a real fighter, you use everything you can to your advantage, because it's either you or them, if they want to go easy, take the victory.

Martial artists, aside from the romanticized stuff you see in media, are much the same. If you get into a fight with one of them they'll put you into the dirt if you let them, even if you hold back, even is tournament fights they are as ruthless as the rules let them be.

There is no "pride" in real fighting, and to act like there is, is an easy way of getting brutally beaten or even killed. Do note that a hard strike to the head or neck can kill someone quite easily if the placement is correct, or incorrect, if you are trying not to seriously injure them.
