A little later, we emerge from one of the palm trees next to our island manor.

Since we have quite a bit of people with us, we had to make multiple trips to bring everyone along.

The house itself is very elegant, but of light construction. In the imperial style, it is mostly wood and paper walls...

Will it really be alright? well, the builders are local so I'd guess they know more about the local weather than we do. If they say its fine, we'll have to trust them.

It is quite the large house, by the way. It is larger than our manor in the capital, albeit it is also just one floor tall.

Ah, there are some towers in the perimeter, and when you pay attention, you can spot a solid looking stone fence some feet into the jungle.

So, the house is light and elegant, but they worked hard on its defenses.
