/tg/ - Traditional Games

Two nights, two days, and on the third night, you are finally ready.

You are Zognik da Githog, Boss of the Skar Krew tribe, and you are about to attack a human village, a first proper raid where your boyz can finally release the pent up aggression. You tried to be silent about, telling only your nobz to prepare your tinkboyz to pump out equipment for your army, they did so, giving weapons to your orks. They of course realized at some point that something is going to happen soon and the hype grew, and with it aggression, everyone started to fight each other and you would have lost all of the plans if it wasn't for the fact that your tinkers finally finished the preparations.

Under the cover of the night and foliage of the forest, your kind encircled the quite huge village, but bulk of your forces focused on the unfinished gate. Miraculously, you have not been found out just yet, despite the loud behavior of your underlings and the short distance separating you from the palisade protecting the settlement.

Grasping your new weapon, a huge hammer, made out of ribs and a vertebra from one of the hardest kill you have on your account so far. Woodbrain did a good job, and the slightly poking out venomous teeth can be flipped to poke out at 90 degree, turning the bashing hammer into a bit unwieldy, but effective Pickaxe of sorts.

You already have a strategy, run in, leave some boyz outside to prevent the humans from running away, but how much resources do you sacrifice to do it?

>You have: 4 Nobz, 123 boyz from which there are 6 tinkers including Woodbrain, 2 dokks and 3 runtherdz
>bunch of grots.
>4 BRUTAL CUNNIN points.

Attack from two sides to sandwich them.

There's only one entrance, which is the unfinished gate. You can do it, but it would take some time for the boyz to rip the wooden wall apart to make an entrance/exit.

Charge in and Krump em! Make sure the boyz don't burn any humie wagons, we'll need them.

“Oy! Ya gitz!” You say, pointing at your specialists.

“Ya'll gunna stay outside so no 'umie goez out!”

“But boss! We wanna foit! We'z made so many wepons for da boyz! We wanna use ourz too!”

“Shut it ya gits! Ya gunna stay here and dats final!”

Bossing yourself around, you grab one of your Nobz by the shoulder, yanking him towards you harshly and then you point at the specialists behind you, giving him the idea of staying with them and making sure that they won't slack about while you gather the rest for the last preparations.

“Okay Boyz, here'z how we do it.... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!”

With a primordial roar straight from your hellish vocal chords, your legs move you to the gate, the rest is quick to follow and soon enough, green tide sweeps trough the land, aiming straight for the entrance.

You hear humans yell out, the ones on the towers next to the gate, their ranged weapons quickly loaded and fired into your ranks but with very little effectiveness, the ork tank has rolled out and not a whole lot will stop it. Only but a few orks are hit, and those care little for the arrows, bolts and other various ammunition sticking out of their body, they wanted this for so long and they finally got it.

In no time you cross trough the entrance, the sound of panic is spreading throughout the alleys, unarmed humans rushing to the safest place which is anywhere but near you while the defenders march quickly with visible fear in their eyes. And two of those try to block your path. (cont.)
>>
>>41259019

In a mighty growl, your legs almost outright stomp one human down to the ground into a fine paste, his yell of pain is blocked by coughs of blood as your feet crush into his ribcage before turning around on top of him, twisting your weight to the side where the other human stands. Your opponents arm was raised highly, about to swing, with a shield blocking his side, but it proves itself as a pitiful defense as the hammer of yours sends him flying in a grunt across the street, smashing his body trough a window and something else, tumbling about in the house.

Your sudden charge left them very vulnerable and only 2 from the 112 of the charging orks died so far. But it will be a matter of time before the humans rally together.

You have a total of 110 orks fighting, including yourself and your remaining 3 Nobz.

Will keep that in mind, and don't worry, they are doing just that, they're not standing outside of the town, they're in it, but standing near the gate. They have some fight now but it's not as intense as on the front.
>>
>>41259038
Another loud WAAGH escapes from your maw, in no time you rush forward onto next opponents, trampling the old, weak and things alike in your way, providing you no fun in terms of killing as they don't put up much of a fight when you come near them for a krumping time.

Only but a few guards try to block your way, all of them met the same demise as the two before them, smashed into tiny bits and or paste. Blood and chunks of meat cling onto your new weapon like decorations on a Christmas tree. But this jolly good fight is quickly ended as the humans now rallied once you enter to about the first quarter of the city, and it is here where you meet your first actual obstacle.

Extremely long pikes, jotting trough in between big round shields. A total of 31 men stand right in your way in between the bazaars.

“Damn orks, I knew that the Men From Beyond the Hills and the Angels in Iron Armor didn't purge you from this world completely!”

Says the man who seems to be the tallest, big and bushy white beard hanging to the base of his neck from underneath the helmet as he hold a massive sword over his shoulder. The tip not small and pointy, but huge and wide, just like an axe's blade with a shield held in his other arm.

Your hype cools down after the initial satisfaction, your trusty Nob and three other orks pop up from behind you, the Nob throwing a human right trough some wooden stands, breaking the pots and food with the impact before landing on the ground in an sick, twisted way, his spine more than likely trashed into splinters.

You can see that the soldiers are afraid of you, but they're put in place by the bearded man.

>”Wot ya mean, 'umie!? Wot men from beyand da mountains?! Wot Angles!?”
>”I'z Boss Zognik da Githog, Boss of Skar Krew tribe! And dis villashe iz moin az well az da planet!” (Attack the humans)

You could say something smart, something fancy, to snap back and shut him down. But all you can do is just yell.

“wwwwwwwwwAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!”

Your orkish brother follow your roar, but they're far from reaching your level of loudness. After finishing your deafening battle cry, shaking the morale a bit further, making the wall shake and raise their shields to cover their body, you whistle, putting two fingers into your mouth.

Soon enough, grots, tons of them, start to leak out from the corners, a lot of them beaten up, but some hold heads of different people and only but few of the mass wield actual warriors heads. They all herd up to you, your comrades rather weirded out as to why you would do this.

You look at the gretchins, they look back, then you point your finger at the humans, they all seem to hesitate, wavering and stepping away from you, but before they can do anything for real, your mighty foot strikes one of the grots and is promptly sent flying right into them in a scared yell.

The runt is sadly turned into flat pancake as the captain bashes him mid air, directing the missile away from himself only to look in terror as the tiny wave of green things sweep low under the shields. They tried to stab them but with very little effectiveness. Humans start to yell out in pain before falling to the ground, their ankles bitten, hacked, bashed and slashed to muscles as the grots shake the formation.

Surprised and complimenting your smartness, the orks rush in right after the runt, you right behind them straight into the fray.

“STAND BACK! KEEP THE FORMATION! IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT CAN HELP US WIN!” (cont.)
>>
>>41260359
From the mighty 31 defenders, 25 step back and reform, looking in horror as their brothers in arms are ripped to shreds before being squashed flat by your feet. The Nob brutally smashed into the ranks, breaking the pikes with his sheer body weight and density, the other orks have bit less luck at deflecting them, and one ork is quickly turned into swiss cheese, multiple pikes shanking the body. Few even go right trough the other side, forcing the ork to lay down, tumbling away from pain.

So you take his place. Swinging high in a jump attack. The hammer bulges the shield inwards, causing the owner to scream in pain as his arm is promptly broken by the blow. The pikes brush against your body, some piercing it but not lodging inside. From the solid formation only but 11 humans remain, fighting with swords in close quarter with your comrades.

Your next swing, from bottom to top, tilting to the left, is blocked by the tall man, he's still not reaching to your head, but his entire weight was put into blocking the swing and it was enough to draw it into a tie.

“Damn ork, You must be the boss of this Emperor's forsaken band of monsters! I'll kill you so everyone can live well again in this city!”

“Keep dreAMIN' 'UMIE!”

Tugging your weapon back, you ram it back with a back swing into a swinging human to your back on the right, cracking his ribs with extremely little effort. Stopping your swing, you make mighty overhead attack which is swiftly dodged to the side by the man, he uses your vulnerable position post-swing, and hacks at your stomach, bruising the skin trough it but not penetrating the armor. In angering growl, you swing to the side after him.

“I'Z BOSS ZOGNIK DA GITHOG! DIZ WHOLE PLACE IZ MINE!”

In a wide swing, you hook his shield, sending his arm flying to the side, the only reason the man didn't fall was because he followed his arm, making a quick spin with a slash onto your nob, digging into his arm which causes him to yell in pain and get promptly overwhelmed by the spears, forcing him back.

“AND YER HEAD'Z GUNNA BE FIRST FOR MY BOSS POLE, 'UMIE!”

Letting your arm go fly behind your back, you step in, winding your other, free arm and launching it straight at the old man who sidestepped just barely enough in time. You felt the helmet brushing against your massive knuckles which buried themselves into the man behind him. That man sharply groaned, the punch sent him flying to the side, into the others, freeing your other orks from the pike onslaught.

Your grots now finally gathered up again, being afraid of the fight before. They swarm the remaining humans, biting into their flesh with ungodly screeches. (cont.)
>>
>>41260956

The captain retaliates immediately, stepping in with his entire body straight into your chest, it was enough to make you stumble back onto a standing pike that dug into your back, next to the shoulder blade. In a roar of pain, you step back in again, one-handing your 'mace' and driving it straight down, pointing downwards with the tip of the fang.

With a quick jump, he barely saves his life, the fang ripped the back plate of his armor in almost straight line, smoke coming out of the “wound” on the armor.

“Ngh! Retreat! Back to the centre! We will hold them back in the middle!”

The remaining humans are very quick to drop their equipment and wing it, they run really fast into the dark alleys that are slowly being lit by the fires of your orks, plundering the city village. Your wounded Nob and one fully capable ork eager to follow, the grots spread out into the buildings, murdering and plundering anything that might be of value for them and you.

And you start to sprint immediately after him. He wastes no time to speed himself up, he drops his sword just as well and reaches for the straps on his now useless armor and quickly undoes it, leaving it on the ground as he speeds up. The entirety of your current nearby forces follows the few remaining defenders of the area. This makes you wonder how well the rest did, nevertheless. You push in.

With a groan, you reach for the spear stuck in your back, drag it out and swiftly throw it mid-run, it doesn't hit anyone, but one of the humans flinches in fear and promptly falls down onto the ground and to say that he meets his demise is a bit of an understatement as the Nob crushes his head with a running stomp.

Your eyes however, are set on only one human, the boss you presume, with a relentless charge you follow him. He's much more agile, the turns he makes are quick and swift, whereas yours are less.. Gentle, your entire body smashing into walls in the momentum, but keeping the speed you've built up over the course thanks to your superb body.

The distance is smaller and smaller, you see that now only he is running, the rest have spread out at some point, so did your orks, personal grudges hit everyone it seems. But in few more running stomps of power, you close the distance even closer, you feel the distance, your arm reaches out even, but he's so close but so FAR at the same time (Cont.)
>>

.

One more corner, he disappears behind the wall, you decide to test your luck and with a swing, crash the wall into pieces right on the corner, but it was not enough, for your target was kneeling, and now he rushed in underneath your swing.

With a mighty bash and a roar, his shield hits your knee, sending you into a painful tumble into a crash on the wall in front. The entire speed and energy you've built up was turned against that one knee and it feels extremely numb now. With barely enough strength you stand up, just in time to push the shield aimed at your other, sticking out leg.

“Ngh! Damn.. Eh.. Damn ork..! I am way too old..” He gasps, taking in massive amount of air before straightening up. “..Old for this!” And after finishing his sentence, he.. Turns around and jumps up to the edge of the roof, trying to climb it up.

To your left you see the centre of the city and humans gathering up. You are rather baffled because you see two more humans ordering out. Since when do humans have more than one boss? How do you tell a Nob from the Boss? By the facial hair squigs?

“RrRRAUAGHAAWAHAH! COME BACK 'UMIE!!”

You roar in anger. This laster for way too long it has any right to be, in anger limp you jump to the roof as well and hook your arm around the flat area to pull yourself in. However, as soon as your head pokes out, you are greet with a blow to your head with the shield, one of your teeth sent flying into the air from the sheer force before you are bashed with the back slap.

It is not enough to drop you. You climb further, ignoring the pain and the blows given to you by the human captain. Eventually, you stand on top of the roof, looking down to the human who's panting heavily, stepping back in the sheer horror of your tenacity.

“..Why won't you DIE!?”

With one more bash into your head which forces your neck to move to the side, you roar in anger, winding your Basha with the wrist in a circular manner before sending the man flying high into the air and crashing down with a painful grunt onto the other end of the roof.

Stomping your way towards him, cracking the ground you walk upon like a mighty beast, your hand grasps your weapon, the moon right behind your head, shining down on it and hiding the contours that are in the middle of your face, making you look like a sinister beast, a warmonger of death and destruction, wanting to conquer the entire realm with his glowing eyes set on his next target. “Nargh! People.. People will know about this.. They will rally all men.. They will ask for ARGH!.. The Angels in Iron Armor.. And they will make sure that YOU, PERISH!”

“Bhah! Stupid 'umie!”

You grab him by the neck and forcefully shove him out into the air at the gate, from here you can just see the pile of corpses near it as your orks stood guard. They seemed pretty bored, sitting on boxes and other things.

“N-No.. T-THIS CAN'T BE! ORKS ARE TOO STU-”

His sentence is stopped abruptly with an ominous cracking sound, your fingers snapping the neck like a small twig.

“Dis, is wat ya get callin Zognik Da Githog stewpid!”

Dropping your weapon, you grab him by the torso with the now free hand and tug both way. In few seconds the gore, blood and bones gush from the break. The body kneels onto the ground, blood covering you almost immediately from the arteries that pump the crimson life liquid all over the place. Then the body leans forward and slides down the roof, crashing onto the ground beneath and making a big pool of blood.

Then you turn to the middle, and you see the army of 100 men, pikes, swords, bows and crossbows all pointed at the 80 orks around it.

You are Boss Zognik da Githog of Skar Krew clan. And you are about to conquer the first of many.

I can stick around for Q&A.

>>41262378
Why the hell did you count that as a crit failure when earlier you didn't count any of the exact same rolls as a crit fail? Seems kinda shitty to me
>>
>>41262405
I.. Didn't?
>>
>>41262405
he clearly didn't considering nothing bad happened to us. He just pointed out that that constitutes a crit fail if all rolls had failed.

You have a Twitter OP?

I take the best of 3 first posts. That last one was a crit and I just found it extremely hilarious that a last post in the first 3 posts for the last roll for the chase was the last thing you guys would want to see.
