You take to the air, a weight that's been pressing down on your whole life feel's like it's finally been lifted. Frieza's dead, at least partially by your hand at that.

As someone who literally read everything today, I feel like the development is interesting due to all crazy shit that happened, but Goku getting sidelined like this doesn't feel right. I know, quest and all, it's supposed to be about the MC, but takes away a lot of the tension. The invasion fight in Earth felt more difficult. Don't wanna start any QM turf war, but I remember the Gundam X quest; we took the MC role from the original series' one, but he was still around and was very important on most occaisons. Now, Goku is... just there. I was expecting to see us kicking ass together. Of course, that was part of the development and how the story unfolded, so it's fine, but personally feel a bit disappointed. Looking forward to how the story goes anyway

You find all three of Frieza's balls in the pilots room, the ship eerily quiet now. Nail takes two, and you take the last, before you lead the others towards where you sunk the four you captured.

Risel and Teito volunteer to dive for them this time, resurfacing with smiles, they lay them down.

Clearing his throat, Nail speaks in an unfamiliar language, which you can only assume is Namekian. The only word you catch is 'Porunga' as the sky darkens over head, to an almost black green.

With a stream of yellow light, a dragon rises from the balls, bursting into existence. "Woah. He's... muscular." Teito snickers.

Nail continues, "The dragon speaks your language, but only accepts wishes in Namekian. So, what do you want?"

Another glow from his eyes, and another "It is done Planet Triclops has been reformed, although I can only restore it's inhabitants, or any life one at a time. State your final wish."

"We would like for the human Master Roshi to be restored to life."

Nail relays your final wish, and with a final flash of Porunga's eyes, the wish is granted. "It is done. Your wishes have been granted. Now with Guru's death upon us, I feel my time is done. Farewell."

With that, the Dragon Balls rise into the air, and scatter again, blasting across the horizon.

Nail chews his lips for a moment, before offering his hand to you. "Thank you for all your help in defending my planet. Now I must attend to Lord Guru in his last moments."

With that, he takes off flying back to his watch.

No, there were only 3 patrolmen. Kabu neck-snapped one and impaled another one. They were both tended to and made full recoveries because the Namekians had healers on hand. The flight back to the ship is surprisingly peaceful. No explosions, and most of the smoke on the horizons are fading away. It seems that most of the other people on Namek have been dealt with.

When you touch down, you see three new space pods by the entrance to the cave. "What the-?" You hear that Tek-Tek patrolmen inside, arguing with Bulma over something.

"Aha! Freeze, you are under arrest for the assault of a Galactic Patrolmen!" a voice calls from the darkness of the cave.

"Oh screw off, without her, you'd be dead." Bulma reprimands them.

The three patrolmen emerge, glowering at you, weapons drawn and all aimed right at you. Teito laughs aloud after taking a reading of their power levels, but you're not so sure of just how much punch those funs can hold.

The others stroll into the ship, as you nod, giving you and Bulma some privacy. Bulma breaks out in a dazzling smile, taking one of your hands. "Well I'm glad to hear it. From everything you've told me, you've just made the universe a much safer place for somebody special." She lays your hand over her stomach, giving you a wink.

"Does that mean...." You trail off, confused.

Bulma just clucks her tongue, feigning annoyance. "It means, as of now, I'm carrying a baby. Do you get that? It's inside of me. In nine months, we'll have a beautiful little baby. That's what the fourth power they were sensing in the ship was. I wanted it to be a surprise."

You spend a few minutes, first kissing her, then trying to to feel a heartbeat through her stomach, but apparently it's too early in a humans gestation at least.

Finally you head inside, picking up the transmitter. You just realised, the Lookout doesn't have a receiver for this...

Bulma chuckles at that, but leans in, "Listen Roshi, I left an emergency jet capsule there along with a Dragon Radar, it's in the roots of the palm tree by the door. You can use that to get around, alright? Get Kami, on the line for us, after you've got Spike on the job."

"Will do. Seeya when you get back." He cuts the call before you can tell him about the andoids. Kami will tell him anyway.

You hail Lord Slug's former ship. A very irritable looking Diol picks up on video feed, yelling at something behind him.

"If you two don't shut up back there, I will turn this ship around!" He bellows. In the background you can hear Gohan and Nappa giggling together, both running behind Diol in the camera, scurrying off. "What's the situation?" Diol grunts, turning his attention to you.

"Well we killed Frieza, for one thing." You tell him. That gets his attention.

"You... You killed Frieza?" He asks incredulously, "I... how? He's the strongest in this galaxy at least."

You relay the story of the battle, and Nail's fusion to power up, Diol just laughs when you're finished. "And the Dragon Balls?"

"Our wishes are made." You give him a smirk, "We freed Kami, brought a friend back to life AND restored your planet's condition. Now we have some folks on Earth about to wish your entire race back."

Diol gets the same expression on his face that the girls got after you'd killed Frieza, laughing with relief, he's left speechless for a few moments, before finally stammering out "I-I don't know how to thank you!"

You shrug it off, "We'll worry about it later. For now..." You can see Teito hovering nearby, ears pricked, deploying puppydog eyes.

The way I see it, it would be in our best interests to see how Bulma's program works out in handling the cloud problem before trying to tackle it head-on. But even if it's taken care of, there's going to be a lot of other visitors hunting the Namekian Dragon Balls, since nobody knows that the DBs are soon going to be useless with Guru's impending demise (and because Kabu and crew just used them). You give the girl a sly grin as she blushes from your bluntness. Diol disappears to fetch the scarred human, while you and Bulma move to the lab to give the two some privacy.

You collapse in her work chair, shut your eyes, and just take a long moment to enjoy the sense of lightness in your chest, "Free of Freiza." You sigh.

Bulma slips her hands onto the back of your neck, helping to work some of the stiff knots out of your muscles. "You did good work." She agrees. "You should get some sleep though. In bed, not my work chair."

You grunt, forcing yourself to your feet and head for the door. "One more thing." She calls back to you. "Any ideas for names?" She asks, patting over her stomach.

"None that I'm going to commit too, before I get some sleep." Is all you can tell her. You open the door, pause, step back to Bulma, kiss her twice: on the lips, then the belly, and head to your room, collapsing on the bed, still wearing your armour.

It was the best sleep you've had in twenty years.
