"Raditz, keep your power low!" You hiss, "We don't want to engage them here. And if we're lucky, they'll just keep flying."

He scowls, but keeps his wits about him. You both suppress your power as low as it can go, shutting down all non-vital systems on the ship, staying deathly quiet.

Even Bulma puts on a spare scouter, the three of you watching as Ginyus slow down as they approach. Your heart skips a few beats as they actually land, just outside the cave the ship is hidden in.

"Oi Captain!" One bellows in a thick Brench accent, "There's bits of cloth lyin' round all over the place. Looks like sombody got blown ta bits, but didn't hide all the evidence."

"Excellent work Jeice." Another voice replies, an air of command. "Men, we can't afford for any leads to slip through our fingers, with the Dragon Balls in rogue hands. This clue may be just what we need. Split up and search for further clues."

Damn it, the smoke from Paragus must've drawn them in.

You can hear them floating around, discussing among themselves for a few minutes, their voices drifting up the open access ramp to the ship.

"Hey Captain." Another voice adds, "My ssscoutersss picking up something inside that rock over there. Four extremely lower power levels..."

"Probably just some local wildlife the leader responds. "Still, best to take precautions." You hear his throat clear, "If anyone's in there, come out now and surrender yourselves, in the name of Lord Frieza. If you do not, or happen to be local fauna, then we apologise for your imminent destruction. You have five seconds to reveal yourselves."

"Raditz?" You hear the green man snicker, "THAT'S your power level? I mean, not that I'm surprised, but even so-"

Raditz breaks Guldo's neck in one swift movement, powering himself up with the Kaioken for a heartbeat, taking Guldo by surprise, then dropping his power again.

Guldo falls to the floor in a dense pile. "Whatever he just did, I wasn't letting him pull it again." Raditz tells you, before ripping the scouter off Guldo's head, the frame modified to wrap around the eyes on the side of his head.

Acting quickly, you raise your power up to around where Guldo's was resting, disguising his death to scouter's. at least.

The scouter in Raditz's hands pings for a moment, "Guldo, stop screwing around with that duck and get it to Frieza, or your on latrine duty again. Over and out."

Raditz makes sure to turn the communications off, before tossing the scouter to Bulma. "Well, now that those idiots don't suspect us for a while, I'm going to relax a little."

With Tore and the girls still returning, you have some time to fill. Tossing Guldo's corpse behind the ship, at the back wall of the cave, you can hear Vegeta's voice mocking him in the back of your head. Something about dog treats.

You stretch out as you re enter the ship, trying to think of something to do.

Frieza is really lazy. He doesn't do anything until it's the absolute last option available to him.

When Veggie was stealing the rest of the Dragon Balls from his ship, Frieza coulda done something about it. But he didn't. He just gaped and gawked like the rest of the monks, then sent Zarbon to take care of things.

You head to Bulma's lab, shocked to find her working on half a dozen different things at once. She has Guldo's scouter cracked open, inspecting the innards of it. Her computer is still running it's program trying to counter act the gas, the gun you retrieved her is laid out in neatly organised pieces, and she's already planting new Senzu bean seeds in the dirt.

"Hey." She greets, not even looking up from her work. "Good thing we had Raditz around. Not that you weren't a quick thinker." She kisses the air in your direction, still focused on planting the seeds, watering the soil.

You lean back against the wall of the lab, "Just glad he didn't do any damage to the ship." You take a moment to inspect a beaker, currently bubbling over a bunsen burner, also inspecting Bulma's plan for the advanced gravity chamber. "But... listen, I really think that it's time you learn how to defend yourself. Properly I mean."

Bulma snaps her fingers over at her disassembled weapon. "Already working on it. With components from that more advanced scouter, and knowing the lay out of the gun, I've figure out a way to hook up some self defence. I was gonna rig them up all around the cave, with an alarm of course." She dusts her hands off, finished with the seeds. "Anyone I don't like comes near here, I can blast 'em."

I'll give it a shot- A shot mind you, after I've dealt with the cloud. If Krillin and Yamcha are anything to go by, I'm not catching up to you guys any time soon. Even Chichi trained her whole life and look where she was by the time you guys showed up."

You're about to respond, when the scouter Raditz took from Guldo pings again. "Guldo!" A gravelly thick voice calls out, "We're picking up several high powers near where you found the space duck. Everything okay over there, brrrrother?"

Before you can respond, Bulma dashes back into her lab, hooking the scouter up to her computer.

She hurriedly types something out, as the scouter keeps pinging. "Guldo? Guuuuuldo?"

Bulma finishes typing with a flourish and opens the comms on the scouter. "Everything's fine!" The computer tells them, using Guldo's voice. "Just had to hide out in cave for a bit, some really strong guys were gonna beat me up! Space Duck is still on the way."

She instantly shuts comms, and the other Ginyus debate among themselves. "Very well then Guldo, we're heading back to the ship we'll meet you there. Don't go anywhere."

"Roger!" Bulma taps out her reply, Guldo's voice echoing it.

She sighs with relief as the scouter goes quiet, "Guldo kept an audio diary in his scouter, so I was able to mine that and barely scraped together a response appropriate for them." She explains to the group. "But I'm not sure they'll fall for it, once they don't find that guy at their ship."

The Brench woman just grunts and passes out, before you re enter Bulma's lab. "Was there anything else in his diary we could use? Any of his team mates weaknesses?"

Bulma shakes her head, "No, mostly it was about how much he hated that Vegeta guy. Other then that, mostly whining about how much he always got the worst jobs on the team."

Oh well, worth a shot. That voice in the back of your head is laughing at the dead frogman, as you lead the Saiyans out of the ship. You scout around, picking up the Ginyu force to the south east. "There's not much chance that we'll catch them without being scouted, might as well go in loud." Teito laughs, blasting off into the sky.

Raditz quickly joins her, then you and Risel joining up, the four of you blasting across the smoking wastes of planet Namek again. Miles of ocean and featureless blue grass roll by underfoot.

You find the four of them already waiting for you in the centre of a field, all but the purple, horned leading looking anxious, as you approach. The four of you touch down opposite them,

Behind them, you still see a transmitter and... a multicoloured wheel?

Suddenly, the largest of them, a orange haired giant guffaws, "Oh come on, our scouters must be on the fritz. No way can some measely Saiyans be that strong." He starts walking forward, calling over his shoulder, "Jeice, do me a favour and spin the wheel for me, would you?"

With a growl, Teito leaps at him, flattening the one you've guessed to be Recoome with a single blow to the nose. With a nasty crunching of bone, he hits the floor, eyes widening with fear, as the wheel the Brench spun continues spinning.

"Sure about that?" Teito asks, confident smirk on her face. The other two surge forth as well, Raditz charging Ginyu, Risel rushing Jeice.

That leaves you and the lizard man, Burter, forcing a smile on his face.

He disappears from sight, leaving an afterimage behind him. You know this trick already. You sense his energy behind you, spinning in place, you intercept the chop he had aimed at your neck, before grabbing his arm two handed.

With a satisfying snap, you break his upper arm, hard enough for the bone to pierce through his skin.

Burter squeals and hisses in pain, before you deliver a nasty kick to his skull, nearly caving in under one blow. He goes sliding through the dirt, kicking up a trail of dust, before you leap into the air, finishing him by stomping a boot through his rib cage, bursting several of his organs underfoot.

Raditz leaps out of the way first, soaring upwards, Risel and you both leap to either side, but Teito, standing between the two of you, takes the brunt of the blow.

Just to be sure, you blast him through the chest, before finally tossing his body with the rest.

Suddenly, all four scouters ping, one smug voice coming through all of them "Oh, very impressive." It drawls, aristocratic and vaguely feminine, "You succeeded in chimping out on the Ginyu force little monkeys. Still, you're nowhere near a match for me. I saw the whole thing from here."

"Frieza." Raditz spits the name with poison.

You hear a loud slurp come through the scouters as the voice pauses. "Still, it's a shame. Now I'll need a whole new cast for next season of Wheel of Death. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around, I have some Namekians to take care of first, Zarbon, Dadoria? Come along. Ta-taaa~~"

You pull out the bag of Senzu's placing one in Teito's mouth. You work her jaw to release the juices, and soon enough, she's back on her feet. Chuckling, she jumps to her feet, flexing her limbs.

"Alright, back in action!" She declares, throwing a few punches at the air, fast and hard, strong enough to send out shockwaves through the air, cracking the ground underfoot. "Let's go!"

"Everyone, we need to get to Guru's now!" You angle northwest, soaring towards the Namekian leaders home.

Halfway there, your scouter pings once more. "Hey, Kabuya, great news!" Bulma tells you, "Diol pulled over Slug's ship at a trading port and strong armed them into installing a faster than light hyper drive. He thinks with that installed, they'll be here in no time. A few hours at most!"

An explosion rockets skywards on the horizon, a few power levels in the 100,000 range duking it out, but it's not Frieza or a Namekian, so you don't have time for them now.

"Good to hear. We could use some back up." You tell her. "Let me know when they're here, and get everyone a scouter."

"Will do, Bulma out."

You reach Guru's home first, surprisingly, landing on raised cliff. Nail is still tapping his foot impatiently, glaring at the horizon. If you look closely, you spot a thin sheen of poorly wiped off spit on his forehead.

"Frieza must only power up when he wants to destroy something." Risel theorises.
