You are Sol Prementus, son of a being with godlike power. Years ago your gene-pod landed on the broken world of Kilionos, a place where mankind hid from xenos, mutants, and ancient mechanical horrors in dying hive cities. But thanks to your arrival all that changed. Known as the Dark Sun to your people, you rid the world of horrors, found ancient technology, and brought it back to its former glory. Through your will you were able to progress the hive cities and take them under your rule, where they became spires of power on a dead world. It was not long after when you created a space fleet, and actually rid the world of its ork infestation. At this moment you are aboard your vast flagship, Invictus, and along with your fleet it is under attack. Strange xenos ships have attacked, and now boarded the Invictus. Even at this moment they come from both sides of the ship, alarms blaring as the bowels of the ship are filled with combat. The fact they are on your ship annoys you, for at this moment they are a wall slowing your advancement through space, one you will not let stand.

You walk out of the command throne and down to the main ship deck, where over 300 men and women manage main systems. Dressed in the black and gold star robes denoting their ranks, they begin to bow to you when you raise a hand to stop them. You look down at the second in command, captain Ovacus, as he approaches.

"My lord, decks 23-A through 46-B have been boarded. The enemy has seized control despite our best efforts, and are steadily advancing deeper inside."

You blink, the information on the decks already coming to your mind as you determine their vitality to the ship before looking down at captain. "Then they must not advance further. Seal decks 49-A through 60-B. Tell the men on he remaining decks to hold position until I arrive."

The captain bows, and you walk off of the deck as orders are sent. The ship has approximately 88 decks, with sub-decks split into designations ##-A, ##-B, and in some cases ##-C. The enemy has taken an unacceptable portion of the ship, with the lowest decks fortunately not completely taken. If you wish you could head straight to 49-A, or possibly use one of the many sub-passages to travel around to where the breach began. Due to the size of the passage though you would only be able to take your shadows, a possibly costly risk.

Let's trap them in.

It was so nice of them to send subjects to autopsy.
And prisonners to interrogate.
And alien tech to study.
And poisons to make antidotes for most likely.

Alright then writing. Time for some Deldar action.

Though the side passsges of the ship are a highly tactical option, you feel that directly assisting the defense would be better. You walk out of the command deck, walking down a corridor decorated in the symbols of every hive city on Kilionos, a symbol of a dark sun above each to symbolize your rule. The grand hall smells of oils and incense, recently applied by dozens of workers. Alongside them are dozens of power weapons, built for you to symbolize the hive cities dedication to your rule. From the dark shadows of the hall appear your Shadows, falling in ranks behind you with practiced precision. You advance through the ship speedily, your soldiers almost sprinting to keep up with your pace as you pass through the many unharmed ship decks. You eventually reach the barricades, where the men are gathered. These ones are prepared, hundreds of soldiers crowding the large hall to deck 49-A, a wall of guns facing the sealed steel doors. Upon seeing you they bow, and in a few moments the doors are open as you head to deck 48-B.

As you approach the sub-deck you smell blood and death, hitting your mind instantly. The smell of a dozen different unknown substances, accompanied by the scent of lasfire and autocannon shots. Eventually the damage becomes more apparent, as fires and smoke surround you. You hear vox chatter in your helmet for a split second, before all goes silent except for blaring alarms and raging infernos.

It then happened. In a split second they attacked. From the left and right two figures jumped out of the flames at speeds impossible for a human. From their handheld weapons they shot black bolts that killed 4 shadows before they even knew what was happening. In their other hands they carried long swords, but you do not see the rest of their appearance...

...because your already moving.

>>
In a manner that can almost be calm you attack. In less than a second you have Flamebringer in your left hand and active, black flames dancing along the ornate weapon, while your right fist is on the move. Your weapon, forged by the masters of ancient man, slices through the air, leaving burning air in its trail. It slices into the left enemy during their charge, perfectly bisecting them and lighting them on fire due to its intense heat. Meanwhile your right fist slams into the chest of your right foe, sending their now shattered corpse into the flames like a ganger throws trash into an incinerator. You turn back to the dead shadows, their bodies already being eaten away by some insidious means, before spinning around as a flurry of green and black bolts comes from smoke ahead.

Without a word your shadows are in cover and firing back, as you stand in the center of the storm of death, though your seemingly untouchableness wont last much longer.

Unlike your men who hide in cover and fire bsck with their guns you need no weapons. You can use your enemies own equipment against them, and even harm them without it. Your powers activate, your superhuman mind extending outward with little effort. You can feel your soldiers weaponry in their hands, their beating hearts enclosed in flesh, blood, and armor. You can feel the rumbling ship and all the damage its sustained, along with the men and women and technology in it. And then there are the xenos. You feel them as an alien presence, an a black spot on your ship that disgust you immensely. They must feel it as well, as all over the ship you feel them shudder behind arcane pieces of armor, knowing that something is upon them tht they dearly fear.

You can make out their forms, covered in spikes and edges, carrying a variety of weapons filled with malice. Their swords in their hands meant to cause malicious pain, guns made to kill in ways inhumanly brutal, and much more. With a thought you change that. Throughout the ship your will is exercised. Guns explode in their users hands, malign instruments fail, armor pierces its wearers or breaks itself and the flesh inside. In front of you their are screams as you boil the soldiers alive, dropping their weapons as they scream and claw and beg for help. One stumbles forward, succesfully taking off its helmet to breathe in the smoky air.

Before the xeno can react you have him in your grip. Your hand is wrapped around his neck, looking at him with disdain. He struggled in your grip, his hits doing nothing as he punches and kicks at your armor. His features are sharp...too sharp. From the grey skin to angular eyes and sharp ears, everything about him is inhuman...and it disgust you. He says something in his alien tongue, a fast speedy sound full of words and most likely curses as his face becomes a mask of hate.

Rolled 16 (1d20)

Crush his head and work on a way to blow up that ship on our side... with our powers
>>
You deign to carry on for now. You can examine this beast when your ship is clear. Your fingers tighten, and he dies instantly as his neck snaps with a sickening sound before you throw his corpse to the side. Advancing onward without fear, you stride through the flames and smoke, past the corpses of twisted humans and xenos, and continue to the lower decks until you are attacked again. Unlike before there are not a few enemies, instead you are faced with over a dozen xenos, moving fast to engage with swords and knives. You run at them as well, covering the ground in less than a second before bringing flamebringer down in an arcing slice. Three xenos fall, the smell of spilling organs and scorched flesh filling your nostrils as the other three circle around. One stabs at your leg, its blade failing to penetrate before you backhand it across the room. A fifth one manages to take out a still working pistol and fire off a shot before it explodes in his hand.

The shot contacts with your helmet, causing the sensors and runes inside to fade as the lens breaks. You take a step back, a scowl on your face, before ripping the ruined protection off to reveal your face. Upon seeing it the xenos cower, you can feel and see it. A twitch there, a step back here, its obvious they realize what they are facing. But it is too late for them now, as your anger has finally reached a peak.

First they attack your fleet. Then they invade your ship. And now they slaughter the crew and infest it like flies in a wound! As your anger grows your eyes glow brighter, and behind your head a black halo of power forms. The seven remaining aliens crumble as a psychic pulse flies through the ship, dying instantly yet feeling the pain of being torn apart by everything from lasrifles to ship cannons. You walk forward over their corpses, and grip your blade hard. Its time to rid of this pest!

You advance forward, heedless of the inferno around you as black light spills around your body. You head to the deck where the ship was boarded, 23-A, and rush to eliminate the invaders. You pass the twisted corpses of friend and foe alike, with most xenos dead from the earlier psionic burst of energy. You move from deck to deck, felling enemies in the dozens as your blade slices from left to right. The enemy attempts to wound you with ancient and cruel weaponry, only for it to either malfunction or have no effect on your form. Some try to flee your wrath, but you are upon them with leaps and dashes that leave smoldering corpses and broken bodies.

Eventually you reach deck 23-A, to find a veritable army of monstrosities in your way. Tall and gangly, armed with working guns and swords, they all aim their weapons at you. The only thing they earn back is a scowl, as the full extent of your powers comes to the fore. As a an eclipse forms above your head, and your red hair flows down your back, your will becomes undeniable. You are Sol Prementus, and your progress shall never be slowed! The xenos fire, and you charge...
