I'm here again. Let's do this!
--//--
You are Joanne Nyctoeth, now awaken and with a huge dilemma: Your mother asked forgiveness for all she did wrong to you, and you two were doing fine, but when you were starting to believe she changed, you heard she and your brothers talking in the library about the creatures you defeated the day before, saying somethings about 'Leaving you out of it'. You don't know how to deal with the situation, as you really don't know a damn about it. They're probably still asleep, so you could have some time to do something about it, to gather information, or just do something fun to release some stress.

>Go back to the library, there's more you want to know about the creatures.
>Maybe you'll have luck in the city, so go there.
>Talk to one of of your brothers, they won't let you out of this.
>Write-in.

There's more to know, much more. About that so called demons, about hell, and about the secrets of your mother, and what she might be hiding from you.
Quietly, you walk in the direction of the library, and find the door open already. The candles inside are not lit, leaving the place a little dark, illuminated only by the sunlight.
In the table you were using yesterday, books and books are scattered, leaving a mess. Looking through then, you can see the one you was reading, the others you got too, and much more about the matter.

>Read ''The Book of the Spawn.''
>Read ''Nova Mundis Bestiari; Volume 23: Children of the Night.''
>Read ''Manual to Hunters and Clerics on how to deal with demons.''
>Read ''Tales of the Nyctoeth: The children of the Night.''
>Read ''Traveler Tales of Hell.''
>Read ''The Holy Testament.''
>Search another book. (If so, theme and 2d10)

There's this one book, all black and silver letters, with the name of you family i it. Picking it up, you read out loud 'Tales of the Nyctoeth: The children of the Night', and starts to read
The book don't look too much, but once open you see the enormous amount of information that there is. Apparently, once every 50 or more years, the head of the family asks for a new book, with new facts and such. The date of the last publication is, strangely, last year.
You have this sections of the book, and you would love to read it all, but knowing your family, your mother and brother will wake up soon, so you have to worry.
>Choose 2 sections of the book.

>Origins and Legends.
>The Family of the Night.
>Facts through History.
>The Leaders of the Band.

Origins and the leaders, got it!!
>>

The beginning tells about the origin of the family. Some hundreds of years ago, a lone traveler got lost in the deserts trying to go back to his home, and after some time, he started to be visited every cold night by a beautiful woman, that some say it''s an devil, while others say it's an angel, and every night, she would offer him the end of his torment there, in exchange of his loyalty. Years and years passed, and finally when he couldn't even remember his own name, he accepted. She told him that he died in the deserts, and was condemned by sins he didn't remember, his hell to be wandering in the same desert for all eternity. When he woke up after that night, he was only some miles from his hometown, where he founded a little tavern, living calm after all that.
Some years later, though, slavers and mercenaries started to settle in his little establishment, and after one long night, a little slave, almost identical to the woman that saved him, asked him for help. At a sudden revelation, he put a bounty in their heads and waited, until his loved was finally free of her tormentors.
With his new wife, he was like a new man, and now he had the respect of the hunters, who soon started to ask for work, and from there, it escalated, giving birth to the empire it is today.
Well, nice story, at least. Not that all useful, but still...

Skipping some chapters, then, you get to the section of the leaders, were the most notorious and powerful Nyctoeth are remembered. It's the largest section of the book, so you won't have time to read it all, too.
>Choose 2.

>Arshe ''Bloodsucker'', who fought in the great imperial wars 304 years ago, the first blood mage.
>Liezze ''Plague Master'', of a minor family, became wife of Ormngrad ''the Small'', and even then, as one of the rares necromancers of that age, brought pride to your family protecting the people from the demonic attacks they suffered, 255 years ago.
>Ermen ''The Pale Rider'', leader of the rebellions against the reign of Mordred ''the Wicked Queen'', and the trigger of the 2nd imperial war of retaliation, 172 years ago.
>Natall ''of the End'', who not only got to end the war her father, Ermen, started, but was too the person who got the family to it's former glory after the conflict, 149 years ago.
>Lynn, ''the Night Master'', one of the greatest shadow mages of history, and the first to integrate in the council of Avalonne, as ''the King of the Assassins'', 107 years ago.
>Arsth, your grandfather, called by his followers as ''Wyrm-blood'', was one of the seven who banished the dragons from the main land when they aimed to attack the human kingdoms.
>Laett, your own father, the famed adventurer and warrior who discovered some of the greatest scientific facts of his age, was one of the best casters of the lands, and the one who disappeared mysteriously 15 years ago, leaving a traumatized army behind...

Dad and grandpa then, writing. Sorry I'm a little late, got some pizza and it got more time than I expected.

So I just caught up with the other threads and I think it would be helpful if you added more descriptive details.

Like if you have a character say something, describe how they say it.
>>
>>41229145
You decide to begin with the last ones, your grandfather, and your father.
The story is long, but basically, after defeating every force that tried to destroy then since the beginning of time, humanity finally had their place in the world, and that was when the so called gods descended from the skies, asking for tribute. The humans accepted the terms of these so called ''gods'', but soon, they became arrogant, selfish and aggressive with the humans, who started to plan a rebellion to push away the fire-breathing lizards. Your grandfather, Arsth, was agile as one of then, capable of beheading dragons with little effort, what gave him the title of ''Wyrm-blood'', as he was ''A power akin to a dragon, being used against themselves''. He died in the end of the war, though, in the great battle against the king of the dragons, but not before having a son, your father.
Laett was described in the book as ''one of the most brilliant minds in his time'', and that was exactly what he was. He brought back the ancient art of the runes, and popularized the techniques of enchantment in the world, something that never was seen as something powerful or useful. 15 years before, though, a great mission was assigned to him by the hands of the king in person, and all seemed to be good. Some weeks after the contact with him was lost, however, only the army got back, not one of then wanting to talk about what happened. Some died, some went insane, some just disappeared, like your father, and the others... Well, you'll never know, for sure...

Now, looking through the window, it looks like it's almost the midday, so you close the book and quit the room silently, successfully avoiding your parents. You eat alone, reinforcing your opinion of how lucky you were to go out that time. Thinking now, maybe you won't get to go to the library for a long time, so you should get another thing to do...

>Go to the city, maybe you'll find something interesting there.
>Go to the garden, there you'll have open space to train. (Write-in what to train.
>Visit some friend, you could use a little chat. (Tristan is with Selena today, so both can't be visited.)
>Write-in.

Sorry, It's not my mother tongue. I'm usually good, but sometimes i just do shit, it's almost automatic now.

Why do I always forget to turn on the trip again, every fucking time?
>>
>>41230950
No problem, I already noticed that English wasn't one of your strong suits in the other threads. If it's any condolence, I thought you were just a native English speaker with some spelling/grammar problems before, so you're pretty good overall.
>>
>>41231027
I feel native speakers tend to have a lot worse grammar than foreigners, but it depends on the country.
>>
Okay, okay, sorry again, but my internet signal has gone to hell. I can only send this law one update, so fuck it, I'll continue it tomorrow in 5.5.
I'll kill the maintenance team, seriously...
