Continuing with the Metal Gear discussion, this is gonna sound pretentious as shit but I can't help but think that style of game would go very well with how I write.

With Arctus it's a lot of introspection and shit right? Metal Gear is full of that stuff and thinking about your own ideals and what you may fight for.

While I could start in the MSF/Peace Walker era, or even back to the days of fighting against Gene in SH, I think it'd be best to play MGS5 first and set it in that time period.

Let's say you run a quest and you need ideas on how to make the BBEG legitimately a threat to a high powered MC, pop the question at the end of a thread and ask for any ideas for -insert Eaildea twitter-, next thing you know, you have probably a dozen or so ideas to bounce around and play off of eachother. Some guy suggest giving him the ability to use light to make people weak, someone else says he uses shadows to physically affect things. So while Life 1 is just standard man with destiny, Life 3 may be the man who is strong enough to make his own destiny. And Life 20 is a dude fucking the Fates and high-fiving Zeus.

First go could be standard human with a sword, he get a fuckload of shit done in his life, reincarnates as a half-giant, gets more shit done, is a minotaur, doesn't do too much, downgraded to a Bugbear.

Each "death" is a level up or down, depending on how much progress the character makes, my example gives extreme jumps but that's just so that it's noticeable. It could be more subtle things, like being born into life as a man with insane natural athleticism, physically superior in almost every way to a normal guy.

But the best thing would be that the MC could tell stories about crazy shit from odd points of view since he will have lucid memory of every life he has ever lived. Which also allows for a steady build in character skill which is basically just leveling up the character overall.

In order to be Sunny's Father while also still participating in the events of Phantom Pain at a resonable age the MC would need to be at least 17 or so during the events of PP.

PP takes place I believe in 1983, which would mean MC would have to be born in 1966 to be an appropriate age.

The Shadow Moses incident takes places over twenty years later in 2005.

Olga is pregnant in 2007 with Sunny, which would mean to be her lover/Sunny's Father MC would be 41 years old minimum.

Olga couldn't have been more than 22 or 23 when Sunny was born.

Is that an age gap we really want to deal with/could deal with without being creepy?
