Alpha Legionnaire Quest I

You stand at attention, waiting the inspection of your newly enhanced form, fresh from the birthing pod that nurtured you from mortal to something greater.
To a Chaos Space Marine

You are the pinnacle of mankind's destructive thirst given form, serving in the greatest legion the galaxy has ever known, loyal beyond question.
Firstly to the legion
Secondly to your own ambitions
And finally to the whims of the current masters of the legion, the Gods of Chaos.

Your legion has goals beyond your understanding, this you know. You witnessed during your time as an Initiate the complex plots and schemes, the sudden betrayals and resolute last stands that defied all logic and justification.
You know that you have been chosen to fulfill the Legion's strange mission in new and strange directions.

As the inspection is complete and the apothecary declares you whole of form, your commander addresses you, speaking of the small victories you have gained so far before presenting your mission.

>Name?

>Special trait?

>Toughness
Your flesh is as steel, and even the servents of the rotting God admire your resiliance
>Strength
Your body runs flush with power beyond the ken of mortals, able to lift full Asartes above your head even before your transformation
>Speed
Your legs are a thing of wonder, made possible by hundreds of generations of natural selection
culminating in a honed package capable of matching some vehicles
>Intelligence
Your mind Transcends the bounds of what lesser beings refer to as "sanity" letting you complete both plots and works that are orders of magnitude above your peers
>Willpower
Never once flinching in battle, nor backing down at the nightly poker game, you stand unbroken, a pillar of will set fast
>Fellowship
Your commanders noted from the start you were different to the rest. When your squad hesitated, you rallied them. When the Demons sought black pacts, you bent them over the table.
>Special Talent?
>Weapon Mastery
Each member of the legion can wield any weapon they are likely to come across, but to you it as if you have trained with them since the womb
>Psyker
You can smell the shifting currents of the empyrean, and with a simple dip of your hand, you can siphon it's power to your own end
>Warpsmith
Flash. Steel. Warp-stuff. All are colours in your palette as you craft works unimagined in mortal minds, twisting Imperial, Xenos and dark age Technology together with the power of the warp.

>Bonus Power
>Primarch Strain
All of the Alpha Legion is closer to their Primarch than other Astartes, and yet your body is closer than most. Where did your Gene-Seed come from?
>Lets you activate PRIMARCH POWER, adding 100 to the roll. Turns failure to success, and success into reality-bending triumph

My Mistake, the name request was not Omegron.
Going for the first post in cases of ties so here we go...

Arise, Demernon Teliolaris!
You have been Exalted above your brethren for a noble task indeed!
Our enemies know of our ways, and think themselves prepared. But the glory of our Tactical might lies in Innovation and Flexibility, and so you have a special mission.
Infiltrate the Imperial world of Barapadaraso and break their feeble minds with your own!

Your trainers have indeed taken note of your unshakable resolve, Brother,
And your training as a warpsmith has twisted it to ends no servant of the Emperor could comprehend.

Go Forth, Son of Alpharius!
Go and spread Havoc,
Go Forth and change the Galaxy with your burning Ambition!

With a steely salute, you are dismissed, and gather you assigned gear from a fellow warpsmith before departing to the ritual chamber which will carry you on the winds of the warp to your destination.

>Special Gear
>Pick 2
>Disguise Kit
While the sons of Alpharius can pass for a normal, though large, Human, the disguise kit refines it further with potent warp-pastes and extracts.
>Mini-Forge
The size of a hand cart, yet able to unfold to a small manufactorium. Useful, if used creatively
>Book of Rites
Lets you train Cultists in some additional rituals
>Initiate Squad
Although no Astartes, they are far more than any normal human could deal with. Trained in the Low War favored by your kin, they will be able to aid your designs

Target
>Underhive
>Rural fields
>Mining complex
>Coastal Town

>Underhive

With a smile on your face, you seal your helmet and indicate for your team of initiates to do the same.
They say teleporting through the warp doesnt require you to bring your own air supply, but you don't trust the winds of change one iota.

You arrive in a flash of colours that have no name in mortal tongues, and immidiately you are glad for your sealed suit. For you stand in an underhive, spewing with filthy waste and ruined hab blocks, the air thick enough to see. To surevive in such a place you will need Three things. Or you could just move higher up the Hive, although that will probably start atracting attention.

If you choose to stay in the Underhive you will need:
>A hidden place to set up shop
>A power source to recharge your equipment
>A source of nutrition and water

So, take the first step on your path to Glory!

>Pick to stay or go, and roll.

Aw shit dubs!

Remember boys and girls you can activate PRIMARCH POWER once per thread, adding 100 to the roll

Signalling the Initiates you get them to spread out and search for a secluded building not too ruined for your needs, telling them to avoid combat where possible, and move in twos.
Sewer mutants are not to be underestimated, desperation breeds a certain level of resolve, after all

Half an hour later you are inspecting one of the sites reported back to you, and it looks delicious indeed, with a power jack right into a plasma reactor some floors above, and a small cultivation of edible fungoids by a putrid stream.
Of course you will need to run the fungoids and water through a purifier before the Initiates or any cultists you recruit can stomach them.

You set up your Mini-Forge next to the power-jack, and It slowly starts unfolding while you wire it in.

>Can now create basic equipment!

You get it to repurpose some of the old filters from the hab-block into a purification device to reclaim water and edible mass from the filth outside.

What will your next step be?

>Scout for a settlement. In the Underhive such places are breeding grounds for heretics and mutants, and may be turned to your ends!
>Scout upwards, looking for the nearest bastion of imperial influence. You need to find your enemy to destroy them, after all
>Scout Downwards, often there is forgotten tech in the depths of hives, although your Initiates would not be able to weather the pollutions there, meaning you would face whatever else can survive there alone
>Secure the base. How though?
>Something else...

The main thing you need to know is that the group we belong to are super-soldier commandos in SPESS that pretty much spent the last 10000 years or so trolling everyone, while paying lip service enough to get away with it. Consider us at war with everyone, except Alpha legion, and at war with Chaos slighty less than everyone else. Most things use a pig latin thing so you should be able to guess what they mean

That's a failure, or it would be if not for Alpha legion specialising in shady shit.
You move upwards in the hive, leaving a pair of initiates behind to recharge the spare power cells and set up the purification device, pooling the rest of the cells to the other 6
You quickly locate an old Magrail, and it looks that it could be reconstructed with a bit of fiddling.
For now you and the Initiates do it the fun way.
Or at least they do. Thank the Primarch for Mag-boots.
Striding up with complete disregard for such petty things as gravity, you chuckle at the dismayed cries of your Initiates, crawling up like worms, and await them at the next landing.
You give them a few moments to calm their hearts before sending them panning out to locate any bastion of Imperial Might.
After 2 hours, you find yourself in an abandoned meat traders, looking through your magnoculors at a small imperial church. It seems a sermon is about to start.
Squinting you can just make out the form of a priestess at the door, waving people in, although you cannot make out any other details about the place or it's defences.

OH WAIT ITS SNIKKY SHIT STILL
oh hell lets see...

You call over one of the Initiates, asking who is the best at infiltration, and after he indicates himself you tell him to get to it.
Stripping out of his armour, though keeping the respirator section on, he quickly pulls out a can labled "ultrapaint", and prays himself from head to toe, changing his garments to a familiar blue colour, and applies a cream to his upper lip.

>One infiltration coming up sir!
As he divests the rest of his gear, taking only his knife, you notice a thick moustache growing on his lip, and he finishes the disguise with a few Imperial symbols and a dataslate.
He hurries on over, and as you watch through the magnoculors you watch him chatting to the priestess.
Or should you say chatting UP
Even at this distance and through her mask and robe you can see the blush and nervousness in her form, and eventually she swats him on the arm and he goes inside. Although you notice her gaze lingering on his ass as he goes.
After a few more minutes she goes inside and closes the door and you wait out the end of it nervously.

After a few hours the doors open and you see a group of humans and mutants departing the Church, but no sign of you Initiate or the Priestess. Was he Discovered?
>>
>>41113122
Just as you ready to launch a rescue mission, you spy him coming out of the church with a swagger to his step and lipstick on his cheek.
After returning to you he reports:
>well sir, managed to get the layout of the place as well as information about the surroundings and populace!
>nearest military prescence is an arbite outpost five floors up, patrols down this far are non-existant and they are in the habit of hosing down any mutants that raise their heads up that far with bullets.
>Occasionally the Tech-Priests make an expedition down, or the Ministorium lead a mini-crusade against the mutants, but she doesn't expect one for at least a few months
>And I managed to get a hot date in a few nights too!
He trades Hi-Fives with the other initiates as you ponder the situation.
>She will be a useful contact, more so if she can be turned. Tell your initiate to continue her for information. Also You wouldn't cockblock someone in your legion.

95!
If it was dubs it start accusing you guys of being troll infiltrators or something..

You tell the Initiate not to let down the honour of the legion, and hold out your fist to bump
>Loyalty up!
After that touching moment you order the crew back to the underhive, laughing as they curse you, struggling down the supports of the magrail while you stride down the smooth face.

After getting down you send the scouts in a circular route to scout for any settlements, making their way back to base to swap power packs.
On your own way back you spot an access ladder to the depths below, with several bloody smears around it. Hmmmm.
After reaching the base you get a report from the initiates.
>three settlements found sir!
>two seem mostly human, with mutant minorities being forced into servitude, but in the third they seem more tolerant.
>Conditions in each are appalling, and the only other access we saw to higher up is in one of two intolerant ones.

No Scout bike, it will blend in easier while still being far and above the contraptions most hivers have access to, and with Mag-Strip threaded wheels, it can climb up metal walls with ease!
Also pretty cool looking
Seats Two comfortably, although the handrails let another few attach clips to ease vertical ascent

The mutant-friendly one. Those mutant-loving fools have the potential of unfettered access to the depths. That could be ours! To truly strike at the Imperials, we must come face to face with the things they fear and turn those things against them!

Backing this on the virtue of a pretty swell roll.

Once we're armed and ready we should definitely scour out the mutant settlement. Maybe we could offer to lead a raid on the other two colonies to free their "brothers" from captivity?

Basically we seek to reduce the power of Imperial citizens down here.

Normally I wouldn't bat an eyelash at an idea like this, but considering we rolled up a 200 and turned an infiltration into an uncontained seduction, we might have legitimate cause to rethink our strategy.

What uh... What kinds of things can we produce to assist our initiates in accessing their libido?
>>
Stripping of your power armour and donning a body Glove, and then a simple Leather Robe, you decide to take your new bike for a spin.
You pack up a purifier, just incase.
As you open up the throttle in the tunnel you cant help but smile, the power output of the engine is significantly more than expected. maybe it's the combustables in the air?

Soon enough you approach the settlement and slow down to avoid being shot on sight.
You cruise up slowly to the gate and spin some solid gold
> Greetings there fine sir! I am Demernon Teliolaris, purveyor of precious products to picky peoples, and am here to see what products your people have that they may be willing to trade!
He seems a bit Confused by the long words you use, but he gets the gist of it and waves you inside, probably figuring you couldnt do too much damage inside.

As you look around the settlement you notice the squalid conditions and general sense of hopelessness, and see that they barely manage to eke out a living in the sewers. They Produce nothing of real value, but have access to some salvage and perhaps most importantly, bodies you could use.
One way or the other.
Given the Premium the marketplace here demands for foods, you are sure your little purifier could fetch loyalty beyond any sa;vage you barter for it.
