You are Anlanesa, Ice Elemental Soulborn, one day you’re going to be a great wizard (or maybe sorcerer?). You go to school at Egwen Girls Convent.

Right now you’re at school, but not doing school work. You’re in a dungeon with the rest of the adventurers club, you’ve split up into two groups and you ended up with Chame and Calluna.

You pause to take a breath after beating down the bandaged human figure that shrugged off your axe blows like you were hitting it with a fan or something.

You’re currently 10ft tall and you are stooping to avoid your head scraping along the ceiling.

Chame is still recovering from her fit of the giggles, and Calluna is...scratching weird designs on the wall, using the tip of her shortsword.

Still, the good news is that none of you are hurt, and you won. You just wish it didn’t look like you were naked. At least you’re alone, and no one can see you.

“Well, that was kinda tough” you say, your voice sounds all weird, like cracking ice “maybe this whole splitting up thing was a bad idea. What do you think girls?”

Chame wipes a tear from her eyes “Heheh, yeah, I guess it was, after all we don’t want to be left *exposed* Out here do we?”

You put your hands on your hips “oh grow up Chame” you say as she starts giggling again “C’mon, that wasn’t exactly an easy fight, maybe we should go back and join the others.”
>>
“Sure” says Chame, still gigging “they’d love to meet the new you.” Ugh, she’s impossible, you try Calluna instead

“Cally, Cally?” you say, she stops scratching on the wall and looks at you

“Huh?” she says

“What do you think” you ask her “should we go back?”

“Backwards, forwards, two paths to the same destination” she says “does it matter?”

Argh...these two! When you were picking groups no one else seemed to want to go with them, you’d rather have stuck with Cleya but were just too nice to say *no* when Chame asked you to join, and you couldn’t let Chame and Evrumine stick together: they’d get in too much trouble, and...

Maybe you should go back and rethink this whole group thing; you could keep exploring or you could go back and join up with the rest of the club.

What do you do?
>Keep going
>Rejoin friends, rethink groups
>Other (what?)

Also, you’re currently bending down just to avoid hitting your head. Creating the icewall to use your Ice Giant form took some doing, but maybe you should go back to normal? Plus its embarrassing.

Stay in Ice Giant form?

“Well, ok” you say “we need to clear this dungeon out so we go onwards, I’ll go first, Chame you stick to the ceiling, Calluna can you watch out behind us, in case we get ambushed or something?”

You advance slowly down the corridor, filling most of it as Chame sticks to the ceiling ahead of you, and Calluna stays at your back, the axe in your hand feels tiny.

You round the corner at the end, only to see it open into a wider, taller corridor, ah good, room to move.

This corridor is shorter, maybe only 30ft or so long. Halfway down it, on the right-hand side is another closed door. Ahead the corridor ends in a T-junction.

“Chame” you whisper, and motion at the door. Chame crawls down the wall and extends an eye into the lock, ew...

As Calluna keeps up the rear guard, Chame reports her findings “Two big armoured guys with axes” she says “and like, a treasure chest or something.”

What do you do?

>Ask Chame if the chest is a relative of hers
>Keep moving past
>Fight the armoured guys in the room (plans?)

“Ok, here’s the plan” you whisper to Chame and Calluna “Chame sticks on the ceiling, Calluna, you and me are gonna go each side of the door, Chame shoots at them, and when they come at us, we fight them one at a time, ok?”

Both of the girls nod and get into position, and you open the door.

Inside the room you see these two *huge* guys like over six feet tall and covered head to toe in black plate armour and carrying a huge axe each. They turn towards the door as it opens.

The plan works, sort of, Chames crossbow bolt flies past them and clatters off the wall, and then they charge at you; you and Calluna hang back to let one come out so you can surround him.

The first armoured guy comes running out and you and Calluna hit him from each side. Your axeblow staggers him but Callunas sword just bounces off that black metal armour.

Then things start to go wrong.

Instead of standing there and blocking the door he runs at Calluna. Calluna just stands there, sticking to the plan you guess.

“Calluna run!” you try to say as he slams into her and knocks her spinning into the wall, then he continues past her, and turns around.

[Calluna HP 4/6]

Calluna falls screaming to the ground, a mixture of anger and pain, and then her tentacles all emerge and grab the walls and the floor, pulling her upright. Her eyes seem to glow as she raises her shortsword and growls, turning to face the armoured guy, turning her back to you.

The second armour guy steps out of the door and faces you. He chants something weird and then glowing runes appear on his axe, that’s not fair! You don’t have a magic axe, why does he get a magic axe?

And since when do these guys get to use smart tactics? Your plan was perfect!

Well, the pdf was actually intended for a easy overview for combat and such, and since I find the excel to be just as hard to read for quick information, I'm going to keep it up-to-date for now.

The excel is better for comprehensive information about the club though, so its a nice effort.
Only 'slightly' bothered that it includes lots of info we weren't supposed to have yet.

“Both of you get behind me!” you yell as you try to swat away the armoured figures axe strikes with your own weapon.

For Chame its easy, she simply runs upside down along the ceiling. How she’s able to do that without getting a headache you’ll never know.

Calluna has to find some way past the big armoured guy between you and her though. She tries dodging around him but he moves to block her, moving pretty fast for a guy in heavy armour.

So Calluna backs up instead and then things start to feel really weird, and a shape of darkness appears next to Calluna and she dives through, and disappears.

[AE 4/9]

“Where’d she go?” you yell over your shoulder to Chame, as you’re now facing two armoured guys with axes, and you’re taking hits.

[Anlanesa HP 32/35]

“I’m here!” says Calluna from behind you. You can still see that weird blob of darkness though.

With both girls safe behind your much larger form, you are free to go on the offence. You swing your axe at one of the armoured warriors, knocking him back and making a mess of his armour.

Chame fires her crossbow and hits him in the gaping rent in his armour. He grunts and his arm hangs limp at his side, you’re winning this, if slowly.

Behind you Chame asks Calluna “wait so this doorway is gone, but that one over there isn’t, what happens if something went through that one?”

She must be talking about that blob of darkness behind these two warriors.

“I dunno” says Calluna “To get behind Nesa I opened a portal and went through another place to get here.”

“What place?” Chame asks, you hear her winding her crossbow string back as she talks. You focus on deflecting attacks from two foes. You only manage to parry a few of their attacks, but your icy armour soaks up most of the damage.

“There was a forest” says Calluna “and it was raining.”
>>
That gives you an idea, maybe you could push these guys through the doorway/portal/whatever and Calluna then closes it. Maybe that’ll work, as long as you don’t go through with them.

>>
“Calluna, tangle them up” you say “Chame, get ready to save us if this goes wrong.”

You make a few wild swings with your axe to distract your foes as Calluna creeps forwards and wraps tentacles around their ankles.

Then you charge forwards, shoving your foes back towards the black mess. They’re pretty strong, but thanks to Callunas efforts they trip and stumble, and can’t get their balance properly. You shove one, then the other, through the portal and it disappears. They’re gone.

“Really?” Chame asks Calluna “a forest?”

“Yes” says Calluna happily “it sang to me, maybe it’ll sing to them too.”

In the slightly worried pause that follows, Chame comes down off the ceiling and heads into the room, going straight for the chest, as you peer inside.

“Careful” you warn her “it could be trapped or something”

“It’s not, *mother*” says Chame, opening the chest. You can’t see what’s in there, but you can see Chames grin. Behind you, Calluna is humming some sort of tune to herself.

“Dibs!” yells Chame, pulling out handfuls of gold coins from the chest and shoving them into the many pockets and pouches that appear on her clothes.

“Chame” you say “it’s probably just fake money”

“Don’t care” she says, still stuffing her pockets.

“Chame don’t be greedy” you chide her “share some of that out.”

“It’s mine!” she complains “I found it”

“We all earned it” you counter.

Grumbling, Chame hands you and Calluna some of the coins as well. They certainly feel like real gold coins, you split them equally, having maybe 30 gold each.

“So” you say to Chame “a mimic stealing from a treasure chest, is that-”

“A family reunion or a dowry” says Chame flatly “really Nesa I’ve heard all of these before.”

Oh damn, she probably has too, how about this one though “so if someone wants a share of your gold” you say casually “do they have to *check for booby traps*?”

Chame rolls her eyes at you, as Calluna examines her gold pieces one at a time.

“Really” says Chame “you went there?”

“What?” you ask, grinning slightly

Chame just leaves the room, shaking her head “leave the jokes to the funny ones Nesa.” She sounds a bit mad...maybe you offended her?

The three of you head to the T-Junction, and after a quick game of rock-parchment-knife and an argument, you go right.

“No Calluna, *Unfathomable Non-Merclidian Shape* doesn’t exist in rock-parchment-knife” says Chame, as you head down a short corridor, that ends in a left-turn “besides, if it beats everything then its cheating.”

“Unfathomable Non-Merclidian Shape is not cheating” sulks Calluna “you’re just mad because you can’t beat it.”

You pass a doorway, then take another left turn, then another, passing a branching hallways as Calluna and Chame argue, and then another left turn.

“Wait” you say “isn’t this where we fought the armoured warriors?”

Calluna and Chame break off their argument and look around “I think so” says Calluna.

“Yeah” says Chame “so uh, we can go in the room, or take the side corridor, say, isn’t that in the direction the others went?”
>>

“Lets go meet up with the others” you say to Chame and Calluna “we can tackle whatever is in that other room afterwards.”
---
The three of you head after the other team, finding them after going through a small maze of wrecked rooms. Wow, seems like they had one long ongoing battle in the direction they went. And they made a real mess on their way too.

You find them all huddled in front of a big pair of double doors, Cleya is lecturing Evrumine “no more charging in when you want to” says Cleya “you wait for the signal like everyone else, ok?”

“Sorry Cleya” says Evrumine “I don’t mean too, I just, I get all caught up in the fight.”

“Hi girls” says Chame as you approach “how goes?”

They all look over at you.

“I hate skeletons” says Phaysis in a tired voice “after today, I really hate skeletons, in fact, I hate skeletons so much, I want to be a priest, just so I can make them explode.”

“Got a bone to pick with them have you?” asks Chame, Nevyn smirks at that

“Nesa, good” says Cleya “we’re just about to go through this last door – a bunch of zombies and skeletons retreated in there and I think they have some bandaged guys and there’s a guy in a skull mask and long robes sat on a throne...”

You all join in the planning session.
---
So, it comes to this. Through your scrying orb you can see the seven girls outside the door, but can’t hear their plan – that would be unfair.

You are Sallazar, and today you’re playing the Witch King, a role you haven’t touched since you were 16 – the same age as some of the girls. You think you still remember how to do the voice, and you recall how the Witch King never really lost a fight, though sometimes he had to retreat.

You have 10 skeletons, 8 zombies and 2 mummys at your command. You are sat on a throne on a raised dais, at the end of a long, wide hall.

You’re a teacher and this isn’t a professional competition, its training. So you’re going to teach them.

You’re going to be hard on them, and if they screw up badly, then you will beat them...but if they work together and play it smart then the Witch King; weakened from his long slumber, and only just returned to the world of the living, might retreat.

At the other end of the long hall the big doors open, and the torches along the hall all burst into flame as the girls enter cautiously.

You dip your chin and scrunch up your jaw and say in the creepy inhuman voice of the Witch King “Long has it been since the living have entered my domain, come forth warm fleshy things, for my minions are always hungry!”

“What in the hells is that?” asks Phaysis, staring at you, as you undead minions shamble towards the girls.

The girls fan out, with Nevyn, Phaysis, Evrumine and Anlanesa at the front; Cleya and Calluna at the back; Chame starts climbing the wall.

Anlanesa is still in her Ice Giant form you saw through your scrying orb earlier; Nevyn has transformed into her beast shape; Phaysis is a centaur at the moment; Cleya has eyestalks out.

There’s a goof 60ft or so between the girls and your minions, and 100ft between you and the girls.

“But maybe” you say in that raspy inhuman voice, speaking half to yourself “maybe one or two of you might have what it takes to delve deeply into the darkness, to uncover the true secrets of the blackest magics.”

You thumb the control rod Dave gave you and the undead all fall back, protecting you. The girls advance falters as you keep talking.

“Yes, perhaps, some of you might prove useful to me, I can offer you such knowledge as you can scarce imagine: treasures beyond mortal wealth; and I can offer the greatest gift of all – immortality.”

You voice lowers, becoming more persuasive, hypnotic. As you talk you send another mental command to your troops and they fan out, keeping spread out, and the skeleton archers all maintain clear lines of fire at Cleya, and most of them can aim at Calluna too.

“Never grow old, staying forever young, forever beautiful. You would have the power to gain the respect and admiration of anyone you choose. Think of what I can offer you...”

You keep talking, and are aware of a whispered conversation between the girls as they approach.

“I say we go for it!” says Cleya

“We can’t, its evil” says Anlanesa

“It’s not real” says Calluna “I think, so it doesn’t matter.”

“What sort of power?” asks Phaysis “the power to explode undead? Because I’m ok with this.”

“No, I think its the power to control them” says Anlanesa “anyway, you can’t, because that would be *wrong*.”

“Hang on” says Evrumine “could we maybe get a quest reward to keep for real, like gold or a magic weapon? If so I wanna go evil.”

You grin under your mask, their first quest and they’re already metagaming. You feel so proud.

After several minutes of intense discussion, they call a vote. Anlanesa and Evrumine are the only good votes, and the rest of your club...votes to turn to the darkness.

“So how does this work?” asks Cleya, they are still some ways from your undead minions “do we get to pick our own rewards and stuff or is it a mystery box type deal?”
>>
“Are we an evil party now?” asks Calluna “with like, evil power and outfits?”

You hear a voice coming from the ceiling, via a spell “Oh yes” says the voice of Dave “yes, register as a themed group in the tournament, I’ll make all of your outfits! For free!”

Wait, is he trying to...?

“What’s a themed group?” Anlanesa asks.

“Some groups register as themed ones” explains Dave “like all-fighters or all wizards, they can use certain spells and equipment outside the usual rules, but they face tough restrictions on anything outside their theme.”

“So if our theme is evil...” says Phaysis

“Then no *good* magic or priests” says Dave “or equipment.”

“Wait” says Chame “would we have to *be* evil, because as a club this sounds fun, but not for real.”

You wait impatiently, and as much as you don’t want an evil-themed club. This is the girls decision not yours.

“No, no” Dave reassures them “it would be competition only, and *truly* evil magic is still forbidden, but you’d be allowed to bring minions and undead and stuff.”

The girls all look at one another, looking thoughtful.

“Wait a sec” says Evrumine “Janrael was asking about the club the other day, and she’s an angel, is she forbidden if we go evil party?”

“Nah” says Dave dismissively “Fallen angels are a thing, I can make her a costume. And registration of a theme is for a party, not the entire club.”

You drum your fingers on the throne armrest impatiently.

You were going to talk to the girls about themes much later, this is a bit rushed. Still, they are big girls, and can make up their own minds.
>>
What do you do?

>Delay decision (order minions to attack)
>Let the girls pick a theme now (follow-up vote to influence)
>Other (what?)

*If* you want the girls to pick a theme now then you can. These will be a post explaining the options, then a vote after discussion.

This vote right now is whether to allow the girls to pick right now. Influencing them one way or another comes later.

A party (of 4) can only have a single theme, but your club will likely be one day big enough to have several themed adventuring parties. This is not a route-lock, this is about picking a specialisation for *some* of the girls – if they want to.
>>

Undead being a thing aside. Attacking them when they're not ready will help them learn.

Picking a theme now, writing
>>
>>41008916
>Attacking them when they're not ready will help them learn.
Except that it would break the character, who has no reason to attack them when they already decided to join his side, when isntead he can make them attack eachother.
Thats significantly more effective than turning them against us again, for no good reason.
>>
>>41008949

>>
>>41008770
>Delay decision (order minions to attack)
Before a theme is decided, lets at least get enough options to fill a dart board.
>>
>>41008969
Because right now we are playing the Witch King, and he is a manipulative evil that has recently arisen and isn't at the height of its power yet.
Therefore turning them against eachother is preferable to him.

Not to mention because its just more fun this way than just attacking them.
>>
>>41008998
Okay, but why do we care about playing the witch king over teaching our students a valuable lesson, as their teacher?

Fun is subjective, this is just annoying to me.
>>
>>41006085
Toorops is lewd.
>>
>>41009014
>but why do we care about playing the witch king over teaching our students a valuable lesson, as their teacher?
Because this is a the adventurers club, and we and them are playing roles in a dungeon.
I don't even know what lesson you want to teach them here. All evil people are crazy and irrational?
Thats not a very healthy lesson, considering it makes them vulnerable to actual manipulators.

I still think the girls who resist get extra credits, though.
>>
>>41009052
Agreed
>>
>>41009052
Or that evil people will stab them in the back once their guard is down.
>>
>>41009105
It'd still be better to wait for them to kill off and weaken each other as much as possible, then finish off the survivors with chain lightning.
>>
>>41009105
But thats not really guaranteed.
Evil people are perfectly capable of realising that stabbing them in the back is not beneficial.
You have a very boring and mono-dimensional view of how to play a evil character.
Not all evil is Chaotic Evil.
>>
You cast an illusion to make it look as though the Witch King is still there, and then step invisibly away and speak quietly into the rune on your gauntlet. Your voice issues from the ceiling...as if you were still in the control room with the Daves.

“Now girls” you say “I’m happy that you’re eager to pick a theme; I was going to explain this to you at a later date, but I guess now will do.”

“A single team of four adventurers can register as a themed group, as Dave has said, they can have up to four more substitutes – people that fill in if a main team player is unable to attend. A single adventurer can only be a member of a single team, but can be a sub on lots of other teams. If you want to register as an evil party, then I can handle the forms, and Dave has promised you free outfits.” You voice gets stern “which will be entirely age appropriate and will be designed with input from the girls and myself as club advisor. Even though he’s doing it for free Dave will not be given free reign.”

You soften your voice again “So girls, which four want to register as an evil party, and which – if any want to register as reserve members?”

The discussion starts up again.

Anlanesa and Evrumine remain opposed, but Evrumine says she might register as a reserve, just to see what its like.

Chame, Cleya and Nevyn all seem happy to register as evil.

Some are undecided: Calluna doesn’t seem to grasp the difference between good and evil, and Phaysis is having second thoughts.

You could try to influence specific girls to one option or another, or stay out of it.
>>
>>41009127
>Not all evil is Chaotic Evil.
But some of it is and some anons want to play as such at this time.

You ponder carefully which girls would do well playing in an *evil* party and be able to handle it; as well as which ones would have fun doing so.

The girls continue talk, and you wait patiently, answering any questions they might have, but taking care not to influence their decision in anyway.

After a good twenty minutes of talking, the final decisions are in.

Chame, Cleya and Nevyn all go evil, and Evrumine joins as a reserve.

Phaysis bows out, but says “Now if we ever have some sort of righteous fury or inquisition team, count me in; I don’t mind going all out, but not for the wrong reasons.”

And Calluna bows out as well, seemingly uninterested in evil, but wanting to learn more teamwork, perhaps if you find another theme more suited to her.

Anlanesa, as expected, steers clear as well, sounding somewhat offended that Cleya has gone evil.

“Right” says Dave “I’ll get them outfits started for ya ladies, in the meantime....”

You rush to take your seat in place of the illusionary Witch King and say in your inhuman voice “very well, four of you” you point to Chame, Cleya, Evrumine and Nevyn “have the courage to grasp true power. Your companions are too weak-willed to take what they want.”

What’s next?

“Strike down your former allies to prove your loyalty to your dark master!” you say.

The girls all look at one another, Evrumine gives a nervous grin, and twitches; then everything happens at once.

Protected by the dungeons spell, the girls can’t really hurt one another, but they tear into each other with...rather a lot of enthusiasm.

Chame shoots a bolt an Anlanesa, it sticks in her icy body and she doesn’t seem bothered.

Nevyn leaps at Phaysis, only to take the butt end of a spear across the face.

Anlanesa charges at Cleya, only to be intercepted by Evrumine; The two start trading wild axe-swings, with Evrumine clearly at a disadvantage against the much taller girl.

Eyebeams from Cleya strike Phaysis and she falters, clearly weakened, but battles on.

Calluna...casually walks to stand underneath Chame, unnoticed by the other girl her tentacles stretch slowly upwards and then wrap tightly around Chame, much to the young mimic girls surprise, if her yell is any indication.

As the young girls battle for your amusement, you start to rant “And so a new age of darkness dawns! Together our armies will sweep across all the lands and once again all will be united under the loving grip of imperial rule!”

“From the ashes and dissolution will arise a new order, stronger, better and purer than before! Only those blessed by darkness, granted powers beyond mortal might shall rule! The lesser races: humans, elves, dwarfs, all will bow before the Witch King!”

“Come forth my dark armies, rise to your masters call! let the dead walk once more, let the princes tremble before our power. The rise to rule will be bloody, and hard, but if you must climb a mountain of the dead to reach the summit, SO YOU SHALL!” You finish with maniacal laughter, and lots of it!

For an off-the cuff speech it’s not bad you think to yourself, then you realise no one is listening.

Nevyn is crouched over a weakly-twitching Phaysis, though it looks more like she’s concerned that her friend is ok, than actually menacing her now.

Evrumine is lying on the floor groaning softly, as Anlanesa steps over her, headed for Cleya. Cleya fires eyebeams at Anlanesa, but barely slows her down, damn that girl is tough.

Chame and Calluna...are mass of flailing limbs and chaos, neither seems to have the upper hand as yet.

You sit and watch as the melee unfolds, mentally composing two different speeches, depending upon who wins.

To pass the time you investigate the rod you’ve been given to control the fake undead, there’s two unusual buttons on it, one labelled *Copy* huh maybe to teach them new moves, and one labelled *Dance Troupe*. Given what you know about the Daves, you wonder what that will actually do.

Chame finally manages to pin Calluna, you says meekly “I give”. Bu the time she does though, Chame looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before: a mass of scales and feathers and eyestalks and long flexible limbs tipped with claws, and you can see at least three heads. She really had to push herself against Calluna.

Anlanesa is chasing after a fleeing Cleya, slowing gaining on her “Help me!” Cleya yells at Nevyn and Chame.

Finally Anlanesa catches up to Cleya and lifts her up high, just as Chame hits her from one side, and Nevyn from another.

Anlanesa doesn’t go down easily, but under an assault of sharp claws and teeth, various limbs of Chame, and eyebeams from Cleya, finally she yields.

Team Evil is victorious!

You clear your throat, ready to deliver your prepared speech, only for the Daves to speak first “Aww yeah, that’s what I’m talking about” the voice of Dave booms from the ceiling “Evil Bit- er, babes is where it’s at!”

The girls help their fallen club members to their feet, and there’s much hugging and laughing.

Cleya and Anlanesa have a slightly tense standoff, but then hug one another, whispering in each others ears something you can’t hear.

Then Dave puts his foot in his mouth “So” he says “What’s your Team Name?”

You resist the urge to hit him, the girls could argue about *that* for days.
>>
“The Aberrants!” says Cleya

“The Hidden Mauraders!” suggests Chame

“Slaughterhouse, uh, Four!” says Evrumine after a quick count. Except, they’ll probably have more reserve members in the future, so a number might not be ideal.

Nevyn transforms back to her humanoid shape and growls out “Dark Hunters”

Even the members not on the team offer suggestions.

“The Unforgiven” suggests Phaysis

“The Unrepentant” says Anlanesa

“Send More Priests!” suggests Calluna, then noting everyone’s looks she adds “No I’m fine, its a team name.”

What do you do?
>Support a team name (which? Write-ins allowed)
>Pick a name later, after you’ve got the fourth member
>Push buttons on the control rod, find out what they do
>Let the girls clear the rest of the dungeon
>Ok, enough fun girls, and its late, time to sleep

Again you leave an illusion of the Witch King in place as you step to one side, and your voices comes down from the ceiling “How about girls” you suggest “you wait until you hae your fourth evil teammate before picking a name?”

“That’s no fun!” complains Chame, as the rest of the *evil* girls acquiesce.

“Right, it’s late” you say “you have just enough time to clear the dungeon before bedtime-” The hells with it, you interrupt yourself by pressing both buttons on the rod.

The undead spring into synchronised dance moves, and start to shake and gyrate around the room.

After some confusion and laughter, the girls start dancing too. As they do the nearest undead start to copy their moves. From above, music blares out from the ceiling. You can just imagine the chubby Daves trying to dance up in the control room.

Pretty soon its an impromptu party. Who knew a zombie could pull moves like that?

“Chame, no, stop that” you say.

“What?” she says innocently

“That’s just wrong” you say, “really, getting a skeleton to dance like that?” Eugh you need that image out of your head.

By the time the fun has stopped its late, and you herd the girls off to bed, almost carrying a tired Cleya.

“That was fun sir” she says sleepily as you see her to her dorm room “can we do it again?”

“Another time” you promise her
---
The next morning you rise early, to see the Daves supervising the removal of the dungeon.

“Azar, mate” says Dave “you’ve still got it, the Witch King man, the Witch-KING!”

“I didn’t do anything” you say.

“You corrupted a bunch of adventurers on their first quest!” says Dave “and that speech? masterful!”

Well, at least *someone* was listening...

“It’s just nostalgia lenses” you say “I’m sure you have lots of villains on the adventuring circuit that are played better.”

The two Daves share a look “Maybe” says one “but who are we to say? Nostalgia lenses as you said my friend, why not lets the crowds decide?”
>>
Wait, are they...

“No” you say, “I have a job, I have my own club.”

“Strictly part-time” says one Dave

“A Rare Boss” says the other

“By appointment only”

“You can bring your evil team” says the other

“We can pay you.”

“How much?” you ask suspiciously, your inner dwarf waking up as the topic shifts to gold.

“Ah, well, times are hard” says Dave “I mean, we barely break even, it’s been a hard year, Dave is ill, lots of priest bills, I mean we’re taking charity just to be able to buy food.”

After a half-hour of intense negotiation you finally have your fee

“A hundred and fifty a week is robbery!” yelps Dave

“Take it or leave it” you say “You want me and the girls ready to attend fights upon request? That’s the fee for all of us – if they say no, *then* its seventy-five.”

You doubt the girls will turn it down, but you can’t speak for them.

“Fine” grumbles Dave “you really are an evil overlord.”

“Damn right” you say.

You spot a sheaf of papers in Daves hand that looks like it has pictures of dresses on it.

“Dave, what’s that?” you ask.

“Nothing” he says, hugging them to his chest.

After prying them off him, you see they are sketches for outfit ideas for the members of Team Evil.

“Hah, no” you say, looking at one “nope” you look at another “Ok, this one, maybe.”

“Oh c’mon!” protests Dave as you laugh at another design and reject it “It’s artistic”

“So are some nude statues” you say “no.”

You’ve narrowed it down to a few designs and give them back “These *might* be acceptable, send me the full designs when you have them, and I’ll let the girls pick the ones they want.”

“Spoilsport” grumbles Dave as you leave for morning lessons.

By midday the dungeon is gone, and you’ve said goodbye to the Daves.

What are you doing over lunch?

You seek out your Evil Minions....only to find the entire adventuring club sat together, with another dozen girls, talking about their exploits last night.

“And so I charged into the zombie and knocked him clean through the shelves” says Evrumine “Bam!”

“That sounds a lot of fun” says one of their audience, a Tiefling girl with long plaited hair “I was wondering....”

“Hello girls” you say “I just need a few minutes with these four” you lead Team Evil away from the crowd and explain the proposition the Daves put to you.

“Sounds fun” says Chame

“I’m in” says Cleya

“So very there” says Nevyn

“Me too” says Evrumine.

With that decided...you hand out copies of the designs the Daves suggested “Now, they said they’d make you a free outfit, don’t decide now, look at these and think about it, and let me know, ok?”

“Are these the only designs?” asks Chame critically “I man, they look a bit...I dunno, too respectful.”

“They were the only designs I’d let them make” you say “If you want to suggest your own, then give me a copy, and I’ll think about it.”

The girls past the designs back and forth, discussing them.

“So, I know its only the next day” you say “but did you have a fourth team member in mind?”

Evrumine shrugs, as the others exchange looks.

“Some of the other tiefling girls sound interested” says Cleya “they might join the club, and would be natural choices for our team.”

“Yeah” says Nevyn “We’ll see who steps up.”

“How about Kitten?” suggests Chame with a sly grin.

The others all groan “Kittrane, no!” says Cleya “if she joins she’ll just push everyone around and spend her time bullying Evrumine.”

“No she won’t!” says Evrumine “I can beat her now, I only lost that one time because” she looks at you “Er, fighting is wrong and against school rules” she says meekly.

“Cleya is right” says Nevyn “Kittrane will demand to be on an evil team, and will demand to be team leader, without doing any work, then she’ll spend all her time *testing* herself against anyone she sees as *strong*”

“If only Anlanesa had joined” laments Evrumine “she’s so big, she could have used her new power to keep her in line, what?” The other girls are looking at her, eyes wide.

“That’s it!” says Cleya “Phoebe!”

“Oh yes!” says Chame with a laugh “this will be wonderful.”

“Syphoebeus?” you say “why?”

“Kittrane went for her once” says Nevyn “and only once, if she’s in, Kittrane will behave.”

“Or” says Cleya “if you leave it to us, we’ll find a suitable, less violent girl ready to join, I think Hannah wants to, she’s just working up to asking.”

“Well I guess I better speak to Phoebe” you say to the girls “and then Kittrane.”

“Good luck with that Sir” says Cleya dryly,

You bid the girls farewell, as they walk back to their group, still talking about their new outfits as you head to the lunch queue.

You are aware of a lot of murmuring and whispers in your classes that afternoon, it seems the tales of the adventurers first dungeon-crawl are making their way around the school.

You don’t get approached by any students about joining your club, but the gossip mill has its new tidbit to chew over.

So far what I have understood, we have.

Roguish girls
Calluna
Chame

Melee girls
Anlanesa (half caster?)
Nevyn
Evrumine

Ranger
Phaysis

Casters
Cleya
Anlanesa

Syphoebeus is clearly going to be tank, Kittrane sounds like fighter type too.

Just saying that I would rather get a priest/healer and druid first than more fighters.
