“Ten credits deducted” you say firmly “each”.

Both of the girls groan and Evrumine says “but I only ‘ave three so far, so now I am minus...four.” as she counts on her fingers.

“But” you say, drawing it out “I am starting up a new club: The Adventurers Club, if you participate, you can earn those credits back, and more.”

The two girls exchange a look, then both shrug and look at you “Ok” says Chame “we’re in, when is the first meeting?”

“I’ll let you know” you say “We need four for a proper adventuring party – I’ll let you know, now get to class.”

Suitably chastised the girls head off. Your first recruits.
---
You take lunch with some of the other teachers and spend most of your time fielding questions about yourself, still, at least some of the names and faces of your fellow teachers are starting to stick.

What do you do after lunch?

>Go meet the staff
>Go recruit some girls (options in next vote)
>Go talk to the groundskeeper about how he can help you
>Just wander around (random encounters!)
>Other (what?)

You can’t call a club meeting yet (4 members required).

It feels odd to recruit girls we havem't even naturally met yet. So I'm gonna leave it to the random encounter table.

How are we reforming them, exactly? By showing them there are no consequences to cheating? What's to stop them from both joining the club and continuing to break into teacher's rooms to steal answers?
>>

We've been given a list, I don't see the problem.

We then take 40 points for repeated offence
And then stick them into half deadly dungeon
>>
>>40843840
We kick them from the club, dock a majority of the credits they earned here (if not all) and they end up getting kicked out.
>>
>>40843856
>We've been given a list, I don't see the problem.
The list has nothing to do with how awkward it would be to seek them out to recruit them?
Its not like its assembled after those who would want to be in such a club.

That's true
We have to tell them we will do this first
>>
>>40843945
No, we have to show them that there will be punishment for breaking the rules.
And not show them there will be punishment for breaking the rules when we feel like it.

You continue wandering around. Sure the tour was nice, but sometimes you were so focused on what the Headmaster was saying that you couldn’t take in the view.

You decide to take another walk outside. Its chilly but you’ve lived through much worse, and this place has some lovely gardens and forests.

You’re walking through the forest and admiring all the plants and wildlife when something slams you to the ground, hard. Fortunately your enchanted robes protect you from any serious harm, but for the second time today you have the wind knocked out of you.

You feel a heavy weight on your back and a triumphant cat-like girls voice says “Hah, gotcha!”

You groan and the voice adds, a bit confused “Hey, you’re not Ph...uh, you’re that teacher.”

The weight leaves your back and you roll over, to see a young, rather hirsute girl crouched next to you.

She has brown skin and long brown hair as well as sideburns. Her eyes are catlike in appearance and her nails are long and sharp, she has a lithe, athletic build.

“Sallazar” you say, breathing deeply “and you are?”

“Um” she rocks back on her heels “I’m really sorry Sir, er, Professor, I was just out here playing Hide and Pounce with Ph, er no one, no one at all, and I mistook you for someone else.”

“Who else is skipping class?” you ask as you climb to your feet.

“No one” she says, shaking her head. Ah, the *no snitching* rule, yes they had that back when you were a student.

Still, she did just attack you – a pretty big rule infraction, and she’s out here, when she should probably be in class.

What do you do?

>Let her go, it was an honest mistake (no punishment)

Stereotypes are complex, and often wind up being culturally self-enforced. Rather than an actual inclination of a gender, it could be the stereotype of the gender behaving in such and such way that forces the perception which forces the behavior which forces the stereotype.

Something like that, it's been a while since I read up on them and I'm half-asleep here.

Not sure about not asking for the other girl, but without punishment, well, the haven't really done anything 'that' awful.
Its pretty obvious the school has a very modular class choice, the way credits work, so its not that bad they aren't in class either.
It deserves a scholding but surely no actual punishment.

“It’s alright” you say “I’m not going to punish you or your friend, it was an honest mistake. What was your name again?”

“Nevyn” says the brown girl “We had a free study period, so we can do what we like” she says defiantly.

“We who?” you ask. Nevyn sighs “Phaysis” she says loudly “time to come out.”

Out of the bushes walks a centaur girl with black skin and flame-red hair “Nevyn what-” she starts, then catches sight of you “who are you?” she asks.

“Sallazar” you say, still getting your breath back “So, Phaysis and Nevyn is it?” They both nod.

“From the books I was given” you say “free study period is supposed to be for, well, study, and you’re out here playing games?”

“There’s no actual rule against it” says Nevyn stubbornly. There is actually, several, but instead of pointing that out you say “Well you’ve both got lots of energy, and you like games, so how about you earn some credits for doing it?”

“How?” asks Phaysis.

“I’m starting an adventurers club” you explain. Initially the two are sceptical but eventually they decide it sounds fun.

“I’m in” says Nevyn “this sounds like it could be fun.”

“Yeah” says Phaysis “I can be a hunter right?”

“Ranger” you correct her.

“Whatever” she says “I can shoot stuff with a bow” she pulls back an imaginary string on a make believe bow “twang, right in the throat!”

“So when the first club meeting?” asks Nevyn.

“I’m not sure yet” you admit. The two ask a few more questions about the club, and then go back to their game.

Next action? It’s mid-afrernoon.

With the school day almost done, perhaps its time to get to know some of your co-workers a little better. You head up to the staff room, only to find it almost empty, with only three teachers present, two sat together, and one by the open windows, smoking a pipe furiously, a scowl on her face.

“Oh hello dearie” says one of the pair: an elderly tiefling woman with a face like melted green wax, Chansia you think her name is.

You head over “You must be Sallazar” says Chansia “Arcane Theory and Basic Magic right?”

“That’s right” you say “Professor Chansia wasn’t it?”

“Yes dearie” she says “Etiquette and Home Economics, this is Gallis” she indicates the other woman, a tiefling with horns and a lizard-like face. Gallis gives you a toothy grin “Politics and History” she says, offering you a plate of some kind of fried treat “Poisonous toad?”

“I’m good thanks” you say with a slightly nauseated grimace “I had a large lunch.” Looking for a distraction, any distraction, you turn to the woman with the eight-foot long snake tail, smoking a pipe “And you must be-”

“Fuck off!” she snarls at you.

“Oh don’t mind Petunia dearie” says Chansia “she’s going to shed any day now, she always turns into a complete bitch around that time.”

“Eat a dick” snarls Petunia, making several obscene gestures at Chansia

“She teaches Mathematics and Literacy” says Chansia, ignoring the gestures “How was your first day here?”

You chat with Chansia and Gallis about your day, and the antics the students got up to. After an hour or so, the three of you are laughing and joking like old friends, bonding over the shared frustrations of dealing with teenage girls.

Finally classes are due to end, and you’re all needed out in the corridors, herding the children towards the dining hall.

That evening, do you want to call your first club meeting?

Things to be established
>Sallazar's approach to upbringing
Would he be more one to try and nurture the talent of the girls, guide them along the path and counsel them? Would he show them value of friendship and fellowship?
Or would he rather put them to tests and teach them to rely on themselves, throw the baby into the pool so they learn how to swim?
>Sallazar's respect for law and order
Are laws and rules a higher principle to be upheld for its own sake? Are they important tools of good for the whole? Or are they guidelines that are sometimes necessary to be broken or bent? Or are they just annoyances that get in the way?

>Religious preference
does Sallazar follow a specific god? Or all of them? Only the good ones? Or does he treat them as just another force of nature?

>Attitude towards dark arts
Does he resent necromancy? Admire it? Treat it as just another school of magic? Would he encourage students to pick it up?
How does he feel about demons? Will he treat demon students differently? Will he make an effort not to?
>>
>>40854367

>upbringing
having learned value of camaraderie and fellowship in the war, I imagine Sallazar would be inclined to give his pupils a taste of something he himself might have lacked, trying to guide them where he's able and prop them up when they're down. But I can also see him see the value of hard work and self-improvement, considering background he came from. He'll want to girls to work on themselves, but will not hesitate to give a helping hand when situation warrants.

>law and order
his background in wizard school and dwarven army taught Sallazar value of order, but there were situations where law feels too constricting to be followed to the letter. He would not assist a friend in "borrowing" from the treasury, but he'd not invoke harsh punishment for a friend being late for duty after graduation party of their child.

>religion
I imagine him being a lukewarm follower of Yselm, with his tenure in the school of gifted ladies leading him to pray to her more fervently and possibly branch out to Maros for aid as well.

>dark arts
his studies and necessities of war probably freed Sallazar of most if not any squeamishness around the dead or manipulation thereof, as well as teach him healthy caution when dealing with demons. But I imagine he'll make best effort to be a good teacher and look past the students' arcane/genetic makeup when dealing with them.
I don't imagine he would be encouraging girls to take up necromantic craft, and perhaps question their decision if they choose to, but he'll make effort to help them regardless.

You are Sallazar, a young wizard who has recently left the army. You have taken a teaching job at Egwen Girls Convent.

In addition the Headmaster of the school wants you to run the schools adventurers club, to give some of the schools more...unusual...girls something fun to do.

With the days excitement over you spend the rest of the evening trying to organise some sort of lesson plan for the classes you’ll be teaching tomorrow. Thanks to your conversations with the teachers you know roughly where most of the girls understanding of magical theory is – at a very basic level.

There’re a few students that are more advanced, but most of the girls only have a very basic grasp of magic. Still, it means you won’t have so many preconceived notions to overcome.

You work late into the evening preparing your lessons. Before you turn in you remember to use your crystal ball to send a message to the two Daves; old friends of yours from when you were a student yourself. They might have some ideas about starting the adventurers club, and were the best at building dungeons when the whole thing started. They don’t respond, but then they never do; they’ll get back to you in their own time.
---
The next day, after morning assembly, you have your first class: 27 girls aged 13-14 years.

You run through the register and try not to let the whispers and the giggling put you off. C’mon, get it together, you’ve fought drow spellweavers and giant rock-speakers, you can handle a class of teenage girls!
>>
Clamping down on your fear of public speaking, you are ready to begin the lesson. At the desks in front of you dozens of young female faces stare at you, some of them are smirking

From your first thread, you gained 5XP for the MC; and 25XP for the club

Club Experience points

Experience points for the club are gained as a whole; training points are tracked for each girl individually.

Club XP can be spent upon any girl in the club.

Players can spend XP, or indicate a preference for girls in the club to develop certain abilities and the QM will handle the math. These girls are still gaining their powers so it’s not unexpected that they might develop certain powers in a very short time frame.

Since we are going to have a pretty big cast to coordinate for fights, I feel like we're going to need something more easily searched than the pastebins.
So I made a draft of a quick-reference sheet for the girls stats. If nothing else than at least to see what we need for trainings material.

Feedback is welcome.

Read the Setting paste

>One of the innovations of the Last War was the summoning of powerful supernatural entities and the binding of their powers into a mortal.
The Soulbound gained vast power but over time transformed into inhuman monsters, as much a danger to their allies as their enemies.
In the initial few years they were stable and so still worth creating. Eventually a process was developed to extract the power from the Soulbound and pass it on to another, restarting the transformation from its first stage.
The process proved traumatic and sometimes lethal for the supernatural creature in question, so initially only weak demons were used.
As the war progressed all manner of monsters were used up to create the Soulbound.
It wasn’t until the first generation of children were born to Soulbound parents until people realised the longer-term impact the power might have.
These children exhibited a variety of powers and initially where seen as a positive side-effect.

For Salazar, I'd prefer to save up for Rapid Spell Mantle (allows us to activate our spell mantle as a reaction for 2 extra Arcane Energy, 12 XP) before anything else.

The Club XP I'd like to use on Phaysis and Evrumine to get them into their natural classes (Ranger and Barbarian, respectively; 10 XP each), with the remaining 5 being put towards Nevyn's natural class (Rogue).

By being born the child of a Mimic Soulbound. Few of the girls we'll be recruiting were born the children of actual monstrous races.

I'm in favour of that, unless we can purchase some Niche skill for "Teaching". That would be my priority then.

Now with teacher.

You have a lesson plan, so you will stick to the lesson plan. You start off by describing the different types of magic: arcane, divine and primordial, the differences between them and their specialties, and then you focus more on arcane magic.

Most of the girls take notes, or pretend to, though you can spot a few mucking about. They stop when the realise you’re watching them, and start taking notes.

You talk about the different schools of magic, and how they’re perceived, whilst trying not to show any obvious favouritism for the objectively best school of all.

You also talk about how peoples attitude towards magic can change a spell itself. A hand goes up.

“Yes, Emily?” you ask, after consulting your seating plan.

“Um Sir” says the dark-skinned tiefling girl “I thought tha spells were the same no matter who cast them, like a fireball always creates well, a ball of fire.”

“Sort of” you say “spells are named and codified and grouped for some very good reasons, but the details can differ.”

“What do you mean?” she asks, you notice the whole class has stopped taking notes and is listening to the exchange.

You cast about for an example, and then cast a spell on one of the books on your desk, it levitates into the air.

“Levitation” you say “moving an object up and down, but not side to side” You demonstrate by having the book move up and down.

Then you take hold of the book with your hand, and pull it easily to one side.

“Simple right?” you say “but the dwarven runecasters use levitation differently: for them the spell manages the objects position in relation to the stone of the underkingdom. If you try and move an object they levitate it is very difficult to do so, the spell resists it being moved side to side.”

You get mostly blank looks, though a few girls are nodding. You think about explaining the complex geometry the dwarves weave into their spells and then try another tack.
>>
“Who here has seen a magic missile spell?” you ask. Several hands go up, you point to one girl with long blue hair “Yes, Billie?”

“I saw one at a circus once” she says “the sorcerer was throwing rocks in the air and then shooting them out of the sky with his spell.”

“And what did the missiles look like?” you ask.

“Just white and silver balls” she says “nothing special.”

“And the rest of you?” you ask “just white and silver balls?”

There’s general nodding.

You pick up a pencil and throw it across the room, safely away from any of the girls. As its in flight you cast your magic missile spell, but you remember how the drow spellweavers used to cast it.

Ghostly snakes and spiders fly from your fingertips and race after the pencil, chewing and tearing it to pieces.

You look around, some of the girls are stunned, others look a little scared, but many...

“Oh wow, do it again Sir, that was cool!”

You smile tolerantly “magic missile spells” you say “can vary enormously depending upon casting tradition; they can have different appearances, affect various targets in different ways, so...are they the same spell, or not?”

With your display and question to get them thinking, the girls are a more engaged and lively, and you have them asking questions and getting interested in what you’re talking about.
---
Somehow you manage to get through the rest of your classes before lunchtime, without anything going wrong. You take your lessons plans and books back to your lodgings to lock them away safely, only to see that someone has left you a message on your crystal ball, its from David, from your wizarding guild days.
>>
The message reads

*Evil Emperor Azar

I knew you couldn’t escape the dungeoneering fever forever!

Sure we can build some dungeons for u m8, when and where?

You want standard design or a special?

Yup, its from David, the same weird paranoid person he was seven years ago. It was only sent a few minutes ago, you might be able to catch him it you call him now. It’s been years since you last spoke to either Dave, it could end up being a long conversation.

Or you could just go to lunch and then afternoon lessons; you can sort dungeons out once you’ve got the club together.

It’s been a while since you spoke to your friends, time to see how they’re doing.

You pour a little arcane energy into the crystal ball and tap it in the right sequence: Dave is on the old network of communication, he doesn’t use the number strings, said they were never secure.

After a few minutes two familiar bearded faces appear within the crystal. Both wearing their steel helmets.

“Azar, Azar is that you?” says one suspiciously

“Well who else could it be?” the other scoffs

“I’m telling you Dave” says one “The Hewn are everywhere, it could be shapeshifting or a trick or-”

“Hello Dave” you say dryly “And Dave.”

As one Dave glares at you, the other rolls his eyes “Oh for the luva, Azar, what’s Dave’s dad called?”

“Dave doesn’t have a dad” you say “no one would admit to having such a son.”

Both Daves give yellow-toothed grins “Ok it’s you” says the formerly-suspicious one “Where ya been mah minion?”

You give the Daves a brief overview of the last seven years, whilst constantly being interrupted by questions.

Then you ask them about their business “so the dungeoneering” you say “you two must be rolling in gold, being the original dungeon-keepers.”

The Daves scowl “You remember Stefan?”

“I do” you say “Son of Lord of something.”

“Right, yeah, that git” says one of the Daves with feeling “we taught him all he knows about dungeons and he uses his dads money and influence to get a head-start on us when it all goes big. Now his company makes the big competition dungeons.”

“Unless they screw it up” says the other Dave with a grin

“Right, yeah, unless they screw it up” says Dave “So then they call us in when a dungeon needs building to spec on short notice, or they need something more creative than Stefans four basic dungeon designs. We make enough on consulting fees to get by, but its the betrayal brother, the betrayal hurts.”
>>
“Well he always was a sneaky bastard” you say “look I gotta admit I have a reason for calling...” You outline your new job, and club responsibilities, finishing with “so if there’re any tips or pointers you can give me about dungeon-building on a budget, I’d be grateful.”

Both Daves look a little stunned by your announcement.

One recovers first “Azar, no way are we letting you build your own dungeons mate, we are so there it ain’t even possible to measure our speed. You think we’d let our brother Azar out in the cold like this?”

“I don’t want to impose” you protest “just-”

Dave waves you to silence “our whole operation is ready to up-sticks and fast-build” he says “That’s what we get paid for, we have golems and servant spells and fifty goblins working for us. We can put up a three-level dungeon in 12 hours. We’ll have to charge you costs, but that’s about a fifth of market price. You let us know when you want a dungeon, and we can be there. Isn’t that right Dave? Dave?”

The other Dave has a blissful smile on his face “An adventuring party of teenage monstergirls” he says “I’ve been waiting for this, for years I’ve been waiting for this, the Temple of Tentacles, The Mud Pits of Aphrodisia, the Tumescent Necropolis – there’s so many dungeons we can run them through.”

You and Dave share an awkward silence as Dave continues to describe his work, in detail.

“Hang on” says Dave with a disgusted look “I’ll get the broom” you can hear him talking as he leaves your view “So anyway, you need us soon mate, or in a few weeks?”

“I’ve only 4 members” you protest “and they’re not trained at all.”

“We’ll give you an easy one then” says the Dave out of your view “chuck ‘em in so they know what they’re in for, then you can train them.”

Do you want to request a dungeon in the next few days? Or wait a few weeks until you’ve recruited and trained more?

“Classic is good” you say “lets go for easy, they are complete beginners”

“And girls” says one of the Daves under his breath.

“Excellent” says the other Dave “Catacombs of Virrag it is.”

There’s a pause, both Daves grin.

“You want me to play the Witch King” you say with an unimpressed glare “that’s why you picked that one, and since when is that an *Easy* dungeon?”

“You look great in the robes and the skull mask” says Dave “and if the party sticks together and clears out every corner in turn, then it meets *Easy* criteria – it only goes up to Medium if they split up.”

“Besides” says the other Dave “its got all the monster groups split up by type, great training tool, undead in one area, goblins and orcs in another, Fimir in another.”

“We’re not putting in Fimir” argues Dave “Fimir aren’t real.”

“Yes they are” argues Dave “people have seen them”

You need a bigger selection of adventurers now that you’re going to be tackling a dungeon. On your tour with the headmaster the two of you discussed his list and it seems some of the girls spend a lot of time in detention for fighting (such as Evrumine), or pranks (such as Chame).

Some of the calmer, more scholastic girls spend their evenings in the library together.

And some of the loners have various places throughout the school where they can be by themselves.

If you go looking for girls in detention, the library or the secluded places, you’ll be sure to find someone.

You could of course try to find a specific girl, but there’s no guarantee you’ll find her.

The girls you’ve got will make excellent fighters and rogues, time to recruit some girls to fill out the spellcasting roles you think. After all, magic is far superior to martial roles in dungeoneering.

You head up to the library and wander around until you spot a couple of girls from your list, part of a larger group of eight girls, all talking and giggling together.

Your presence is noted and the talking quiets down, the giggling stops, and all the girls now seem to be hard at work, studying. They are all sat around a large table with books open in front of them.

“I’m not here to check up on you” you say “I just want to talk to Cleya and Anlanesa.”

The other girls turn to the two you mentioned, as those two exchange glances, and then turn to look at you.

Anlanesa has pale blond hair that’s almost white in colour, deep blue eyes and pale skin.
She has a lithe build and is wearing the schools gym clothes, including indecently short shorts and a t-shirt that has been altered to reveal her midriff.

Cleya has short black hair and three eyes. The third eye is located in her forehead and is twice the size of her other eyes, its currently closed. Her head seems a little too large for her body.

“Yes Professor?” asks Anlanesa.

The other six girls appear to be tieflings of various types, or perhaps one of them is a genasi? They all watch curiously, some fiddling with their glasses as they do so.

You suddenly recall you have no plan for how to approach this. Both girls have been in your classes on magic and seemed interested, perhaps talking about magic will pique their interest.

How are you going to recruit these two? (please pick only 1 option)

>Just ask them to join, after telling them about the club
>Ask them what they’re studying (be friendly first, recruit later)
>Ask them if they liked your lessons, then talk about magic

Don't forget that it's a swift action to summon it and that you can summon well over a dozen at once with the right peripherals.
>>
>>40856787
When summoned in dozen they use the same pool of arcane energy to cast spells
Arcane Spell Lantern: The Lantern can cast any arcane spell its creator can cast up, up to a maximum level of the creators rank in angels lantern. It can cast these independently of its creator but uses its own Arcane Energy. It has 10 Arcane Energy per rank in Angelic Lantern, plus its creators Willpower score.
Requires: Angels Lantern 1

Two Eyes: Two Angels Lanterns may be summoned instead of one. The Lanterns can act independently but draw from the same limited resources (arcane energy, divine energy, uses per day etc) as a single lantern.
Requires: Angels Lantern 2

There is also divine version of spellcasting lantern

Appears to be tied, breaking in favour of being friendly

I think we should use one exp to learn lock spell

>>

>>
>>40856720
I hate that some of the girls are obviously superior to others.
>>
>>40856870

Class abilities giving those without strong racial abilities a way to increase their power also helps.

Rather than just rushing in and trying to recruit them, you decide to show some interest in them “So what are you girls studying?” you ask.

“History” says Anlanesa, showing you the book she’s reading from “at least, I am, I think Cleya finished her homework already and is working on Magical Theory now.”

“Really?” you say “I don’t think I set any homework...”

Cleya blushes and looks down, as several of the girls giggle “I just like magic” she says quietly.

“Understandably” you say with a smile “It’s a very interesting topic, don’t you think?”

You question is met with some nods and headshakes around the table,

“Cleya wants to be a wizard when she’s older” says Anlanesa, putting her hand on Cleyas shoulder “go on Cleya ask him.”

“Ask me what?” you say

“Is it hard” asks Cleya “learning to be a proper wizard?”

You answer honestly “There’s a lot of work in it” you say “but its rewarding, and you learn things no one else knows.” C;eya looks thoughtful, but encouraged you think.

You ask your own question, to Anlanesa “Do you want to be a wizard too?”

Anlanesa shrugs “I dunno, maybe, I want to travel y’know, see the world.” Ah, a born adventurer this one.

You could probably convince both girls to join with an offer of tuition for Cleya, and an explanation of how adventurers skills in general will help Anlanesa on her travels. Of course you don’t know anything about these other girls yet, and you might find out more about the two you came to recruit if you keep talking.

I dislike the credits bribery to be honest.
We can make use of it, but I wouldn't draw too much attention to it, just alone to prevent jealousy from the other students.

Well if its travelling you like” you say “you might be able to start sooner than expected.”

“What do you mean sir?” asks Anlanesa

“Well I’m starting an Adventurers Club” you say “and we’ll be competing against other school clubs, I expect we’ll be travelling to a lot of different places to meet them.”

As Anlanesa think about that you turn to Cleya “and we really need a wizard as part of the adventurers club line-up, I’d probably be giving that student access to a lot of specialised training and knowledge about wizardry and magic in general.”

Anlanesa and Cleya share a look and then both look back at you and nod “I’m in” says Anlanesa.

“Me too” says Cleya quietly.

Well, that proved easier and quicker than expected.

“Any other takers?” you ask the other girls, half-jokingly.

They all look at each other, some giggle, but some....you think they might be interested. However after discussing which girl would look best in a wizards or barbarians outfit, the general consensus is that none of the others present would like to join right now, but maybe after they’ve seen how it works? You get a few interested in watching a dungeon crawl at some later, unspecified date.

[Calling it for recruit]

On your tour with the headmaster the two of you discussed his list and it seems some of the girls spend a lot of time in detention for fighting (such as Evrumine), or pranks (such as Chame).

And some of the loners have various places throughout the school where they can be by themselves.

If you go looking for girls in detention, the library or the secluded places, you’ll be sure to find someone.

You could of course try to find a specific girl, but there’s no guarantee you’ll find her.

Which Girls do you go to see?
>Those in detention for fighting
>Those in detention for pranks
>Those who hideaway alone

You say your goodbyes, and promise to tell Cleya and Anlanesa when the first club meeting is, as well as telling the other girls that you’ll post things like matches and dungeon crawls on the notice boards (well, except the first practise run) so they can watch if they want to.

Its getting late, but you still have enough time to go and look through all of the solitary, lonely places for the girls that like privacy. There’s dozens of these that the Headmaster pointed out, and you check them thoroughly.

It’s up in one of the towers that you find one of the girls though, or rather, she finds you.

You’re wandering through the abandoned rooms of a tower that has a gaping hole in its roof. This late in the autumn its cold up here at night, but at least the starlight helps you see.

Still, what you can see is mostly shapes and shadows, maybe you should use your magic to improve your sight?

As you prepare to cast your spell, thick black flexible limbs wrap around you, restraining you and a feminine voice whispers harshly in your ear “I told you the next time I found you up here I’d drain you dry Filia, but you didn’t listen you stupid bitch!”

And then you feel several sharp something’s pressing against the skin of your neck

What do you do?
>Do nothing; see if she’s really going to bite you
