You are aware.

The path is open.

You are coming through.

The first question is, what are you leaving behind?

> You are not of the mortal world. Not this one anyway. But what world are you from? One of the myriad afterlives? An alternate earth? Or are you truly an Outsider, one of the things from beyond all worlds?

The stars aligned. The ritual was preformed with utmost precision. Each variable was accounted for, and the sacrifices were gathered with great care. A circle in the grass, hands linked as they chanted over the cowering goat and her young. They were anointed with the blood of one of the plague's victims, risking exposure to the disease in their desperation to ensure that the summoning would succeed. They prayed for two nights, fasting as three o the twelve supplicants succumbed to the plague's ravages.

And they were heard.

Not by the goddess they sought, who might bless their town and banish the illness, but by you. They knew the words, yes, and the gestures, but they did not possess the means to measure the movements of the stars. It was your sign that formed in the sky that night, it was your essence that was pulled through the Burning Veil between this world and all others.

While we're discussing our motivation, what should we do about the mortals?

They were aiming for a Goddess of Healing to cure their plague. Should we help them? Help the plague? Do we even notice their fleeting existence?

I'd be inclined to help them. They did preform us a service. This could be the first step on getting us some cultists.

Cultists are all the rage for things like us.

This is assuming our powers in any way lend themselves to helping with the plague, of course. If all we can do is blow stuff up and rend sanity, they these guys are shit out of luck.
>>
>>40763898
As thanks, we should make the plague helpful instead of harmful.

Growing more limbs and eyes is helpful, right?
>>
>>40763941
I dunno. I think the humans use "four eyes" as a pejorative, and I often hear bad things about having "too many mouths to feed." I don't think the humans would appreciate more body parts.
>>
>>40763941
And hearing the tones that sing below reality is truly helpful as well! I mean, it should be enlightening for these temporary, powerless things.
>>
>>40764001
Okay, so mouths, left feet and eyes are a no go, but everything else should be good. They often ask for hands as well,
>>
>>40763941
I see only pain among these poor, desperate folk who sought us.
Plague is not our domain. But perhaps if we fill their hearts with love for us, they will be able to ignore the anguish of the corporeal form. Their devotion will allow them to carry on, even as their rotting corpse falls apart beneath them.

What greater gift can you give than love?
>>
>>40764001
well...seeing how our tittles are mother of many, infiltrator of hearts, and masked in darkness. Think we could twist the plague so instead of killing them it twist them into something in our image that will also grant them immunity from further diseases and also give them passes a minor illusion on them that as long as they stay out of the sun or exceedingly bright light they will look human with the more powerful of them being able to control the illusion slightly making it so they can look like anyone they want to or even go invisible to the naked eye.

Try to decide what exactly you want to do to/for the village.

Your powers are primarily focused on altering the nature of your children, hiding, deception, and perverting the natural order into a grotesque mockery of itself for your own benefit.

Ah, yes, and a more clear-cut voting prompt:

>Are your children born, made, or adopted?

>Born: From your flesh your lesser selves issue forth, their bodies and minds fragments of your own immaculate presence. You need not suffer the indignities of mortal childbirth, though it will weaken you to birth more children.

>Made: Your children are haphazard things, crafted from the elements of the world and the barest hint of your essence. They bear less resemblance to you than creatures of your own flesh, but are far more independent.

I meant the guy/girl in charge, assuming there was someone planning or leading the ceremony.

Dead from the diseased blood. Her body is somewhat dessicated, and her bones are mostly paste at this point. She was a faithful worshiper of the Lady of Green Places, and would have recognized that you were not her, if she'd lived.
>>
>>40765427
Maybe you should take the warning yourself?
I don't see how deliberately only targeting women isn't fetishy at all. Especially "many bitches"
>>
>>40765460
The warning is to take your stupid board policing away.

Is it possible to resurrect her?

Or maybe it's that this isn't a fetishy quest and so fetishy actions aren't wanted? I don't give a damn if people run smut quests, hell I participate in them, but he's clearly said he doesn't want that sort of stuff.
Going to get "many bitches" and all the women is a fairly fetishy thing to do, and he doesn't seem to want that.
>>40765539
Epic meme bro, sure convinced me.

Look at the comment chain.

To avoid too much argument, the warning is directed towards people posting fetish things, as well as those that would "police" the board. If it wins a vote, I'll write it. It will, however, invariably be closer to nightmare fuel than fetish fuel.

>>40765548

There is no reason that you could not adopt a dead woman. Mortality is less of a concern for someone of your pedigree than for any mortal.
>>
>>40765568

To be fair, the MC is the Mother of Many. Fertility deities are often tied to female worshippers.
>>
>>40765622
Surprisingly enough, people aren't doing it for fap fuel. People like >>40765568 are just reactive idiots because they've seen one or two quests become fetishy for ten minutes and bailed.
>>
>>40765666
Did you not read any of my posts? I don't mind fetish quests, what I do mind is people being fetishy when the QM doesn't want it. From my understanding at the time, he didn't want "fetish bullshit". My response was perfectly reasonable.
>>
>>40765707
>what I do mind is people being fetishy when the QM doesn't want it.

So, your getting worked up over something that is effectively impossible? The QM runs the quest. Outside of random comments, players can't inject anything into the quest that the QM doesn't allow.

There is no need to try and police posts on the QMs behalf. He has his own set of big boy pants, he can take care of the quest content himself. Chill.

So erm, is Creepy writing or what?

She ? This guy got brains ! I'm not taking any side in the discussion but simply admiring his prowess of reasoning
>>
>>40765666
I never meant to imply that they were. Other than, maybe, the "many bitches" guy.

To everyone:

Please avoid insulting the other questers too much, I'd rather not have to get out my shit-umbrella.

>>40765707
I appreciate your concern, but if it gets to the point where I'm uncomfortable, I'll shut them down myself.

I need to go, unexpected trip to the airport. Anyone know how to archive a quest?

Also, going to make a twitter. Might as well.
@OutsiderQuestQM

My sanity is not relevant until it is.

Go to suptg, then archive in the left tab, then "request interface" button. Fill in the things, and don't forget to add "collective game" as a tag since it's a quest.
>>
>>40765872
Thank you for running. Any idea when you'll run next?
