You are Sol Prementus, a being above those that surround you. Fifteen years ago your pod crashed on the shattered world named Kilionos. You found its people weak and cowering, having made little progress over the millenia due to lost of technology, their own greedy nobles and criminals, and constant attacks from both orks and vile mutants. Upon your arrival, and over a short span of time you have successfully brought the people back to their former glory. Technology has been recovered, nobles replaced, and major criminals eliminated. S.T.C's for relics of a glorious past have been recovered, and through their use the despicable mutants and aliens of Kilionos have been pushed back.

Not only that, but you have managed to uncover the secrets of Sunshooter and Flamebringer, your personal Plasma gun and Power sword respectively. They are some of the most powerful relics to be found, and their nigh on arcane secrets have been swallowed up by the sea of power that mortals would call a mind. With them in your hands you are virtually unkillable, your advanced physiology rendering it impossible for the lesser humans around you to hit you, let alone kill you.

But those are unimportant at this current moment, for you are at work on a much more important project. With its completion the progress of the people of Kilionos shall be unstoppable, and they shall finally partially emulate their enlightened ancestors.

>You are overlooking the creation of your personal flagship, and with it shall rid the orks in this system
>You are leading the last necessary assault on this planet, to rid it of the largest and most dangerous mutant horde

Your battleship is currently under construction, meant to be the embodiment of your will and a symbol of progress. Even amongst the many ships already made underneath the planet yours shall be special, greater than anything made on Kilionos. Its schematics were found in a special S.T.C, which held only the design plans for a ship of its type. You look out amongst a vast pit, watching men and materials rushing back and forth as they carefully and expediently work on the vast ship. Massive sheets of hull armor are moved into place, plasteel beams are set in specified areas, and the required technology for its myriad functions are placed inside.

One thing that sets it apart though are its shields. Unlike other ships its void shields are far stronger and numerous, able to protect the ship from even the heaviest fire. It also has another special addition, one that will surely help carry your will across the stars themselves.

>It has a special and unique type of armor, giving it even greater defense. Along with this it is equipped with a ramming device built to charge through even the greatest ships
>It has a omnidirectional lightning cannon. How such a weapon works in the vast blackness of space is mysterious to you, but it is useful. It can fire beams of lightning varying in strength, able to either cripple a ship or utterly destroy it

The men of old were truly the zenith of mankind in terms of intelligence. To think the weapon you are viewing in front of you could have been made by mortal hands and made to work in even the vast blackness of space. In front of you is a massive ball of plasteel, thrumming with raw electrical power. The vast pit has been virtually cleared temporarily, due to the dangerous and extraordinarily powerful orb in front of you.

Through a method so obscure that even you doubt how it was replicated from a mere S.T.C, you have managed to contain the raw power of lightning itself in a ball and link it to your ship. By doing this you have granted your ship a weapon of vast tactical importance, a cannon able to disable ships, destroy them with ease, and even eliminate entire areas of land with contemptuous ease. Such a weapon is truly the greatest thing you have ever seen, and were it not for its highly volatile nature you would be studying it for weeks on end without breaks just to understand its design.

>>40436781
you know what's cool about Tesla coil? they jump electricity to anything near it giving us pretty much perfect flak and with the way it has been described we can focus it at a single target as well. the enemy would literally need to send enough ships at us that the individual charge on a single ship doesn't destroy it immediately and then they run into our impenetrable voidshields.
>>
>>40436868
When the fuck did we turn into Rogal Dorn? Isn't our deal being adaptable and shit.

>>
>>40436944
We can just retro fit it later can't we?
>>
>>40436944
we don't have bonus armor, we just have unbreakable shields. And we went with better munitions and troop capacity on the ship because carriers and fighter versatility can be handled by proper composition of the rest of our fleet.
>>
>>40436944
I personally see our ship in a more of a support role. Acting as a defender for a dedicated carrier to maximize efficiency since making a jack of all trades would be inferior to a fleet with specialised roles.
>>
>>40436987
Can we? Seriously I have no idea if we can, kinda figure that once its built thats it and refitting it would take too long.

We'll have lots of sponsoons for our guys if we ever need to make a last stand. We could take out a whole necron fleet that way. Also, our flagship does not need to be at every single invasion. Our fleets will do their job, and if a planet is looking like a particularly hard nut to crack, we shoot their shit from orbit before unloading a couple thousand astartes. The rest of our fleet ships hold the nail, and if they can't do the rest of the job themselves, we're a giant ass hammer.

Your ship was also specialized to hold far more troops, munitions, and firepower. At this point your flagship is almost finished, after almost a year of constant work. Now it prepares to take off into space, its massive engines pumping out flame as hot as the sun. As the huge craft prepares to lift off, guns bristling, black or red electricity running along its hull as black void shields give it an otherworldly glow(naturally the colors can be turned off, you made sure of it). Alongside it are over a hundred other craft, built alongside it and ranging from smaller battleships to transports.

Meanwhile over 500,000 soldiers, 300,000 crew, and hundreds of vehicles are being loaded onto your ship. It is time to bring the fight to the Orks of the system, lead by your mighty flagship known as:

Yeah, but jumping into the fray and then using straining our void shields to stop would mean we wouldn't have our defense up at all. Plus, it's easier to hit a stopped target than a moving one. id like to view is as the embodiment of "the ends justify the means", we decide on a goal no matter how unassailable and we will achieve it, no matter what, we have the duality, the Glorious Sun which represents honor and lawfulness, but the shadows we cast linger in the dark, enabling those with honor to keep it.

I agree with this. The reason we started our own mining company in the previous thread was that we understood the long term consequences of just taking what we want and allowing a monopoly to form.

You walk into your ship, thousands of personnel and soldiers running by you moving munitions and weapons. You ignore them, your purpose the great bridge of your flagship. As you walk through its huge halls and main areas, sword at your hip and gun on your waist, you feel its raw mechanical power running through you. Instead of relishing the raw progressive technological power that surrounds you, you continue onwards to the bridge. Your true goal is there, where the most important aspect of the ship shall come into play.

After walking the entire way, taking approximately one hour due to your calm and steady pace, you arrive at the bridge of your ship. Around you are the dozens of personnel assigned to it, each trained by you personally over the years for this moment. Ahead is a vast viewport, through which you can see dozens of other ships beginning to take off in formation, all awaiting the valuable flagship.

They do not have to wait long, for you are ready. You sit down in your command chair, a massive throne with a black sun emblem, and activate your powers. During its construction you made sure you were linked to the ship and its parts on the most primordial level. Your transhuman mind reaches out across its bulk, feeling every part syncing with you. You begin taking full control, and feel the thrumming of the engine in your chest. The lightning cannon charges throughout your body, its vast power waiting for your command to fire. Hundreds of guns link to your mind, prepared to dump their destructive payload of lasers, plasma, missiles, and shells.

With one thought your flagship Invictus begins to lift into the air, every part of its being running through your mind as it does so. You are Sol Prementus, son a being of godlike power. Your will is undeniable, and through it you have brought the people of this world from the brink of extinction to the light of a new age. Let none stop progress as long as you live...

Thread end! How was it?
>>
>>40439885

That was... somewhat underwelming actually.

Still, good thread as always

It was the best bickering over ship design I've had in some time. The end post? P'good!
>>
And thread archived: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Lost+Primarch

Basically Sol Prementus has full undisputed control of his ship, able to control every aspect without any help. Just saying in case you didnt get it.
>>
>>40439885
It was great! A bit short, but eh, what can you do. What was our color scheme again? We need to decide that before we do much else, at least, before deciding which primarch to waifu.
>>
>>40440072

So if we die nobody else can use it?

Unless out legion's pyskers just so happen to inherit (a weakened version of) our abilities?
>>
>>40439885
holy shit if we die we will be interred in the largest Dreadnought ever conceived.
>>
>>40440096
No, if you have a fully staffed crew, they can use it, but we can do it by ourselves, and do it better

Hmm... So do we use any sort of Navigators or are we doing all the warp navigation ourselves? I don't really doubt that we could take it all on ourselves, but it seems unlike us to design our ship to be crippled without us personally there.

We need to make a legion of blank robots that with no programing just power supplies, we can then puppet them with out mind, we are the Master of Puppets. The robots can be well armed but with no programing they are just statues...ones we can puppet with our Will. Liter them throughout the halls for the Sun witnesses all.

I like the idea that we say we are the Sun and the legion our Shadows, we are the Light radiant and just, they are the Shadows always there, the more potent the light, the stronger the shadows become
>>
>>40440556
That sounds like a good idea. We can get some psykers with heavy training, that should help dramatically. Magnus will be our bro, it's too convenient for us both.
>>
>>40441109
also for name "The Sun Walkers"
>>
>>40441071

Thought the name will be Sons of Sol. Colors I think were gone over in the second thread, can't remember if we came to an agreement over them though.

That sounds kind of good, but also really bad. If chaos enters our legion, we're going to be the only primarch whose astartes rise against us. Also, it's a bit too dark. Maybe something like pic related
>>
>>40441344
why I like that one better, though a Primarch having to slay is sons makes some tough stories and heavy feels. Our plans saw so far into the future we missed the darkness at our feet.

that's the kind of idiocy that happens only to madmen and poorly thought out characters.

>>
>>40441675

>>
>>40441751
Ugh, the problem of participating in something that requires names...
>>
>>40441675
I think it'd look better with some white trim for the pauldrons and wrists, but yeah, this is great. Maybe we could make the imperial skull gold or white, and do what batman did, but I'm not sure on that. It draws the eyes and aim to where the armor is thickest. It might not work on space marines with helmvision on, but on everybody besides necrons and space marines, it's a great strategy. What website is used to make these?
>>
>>40441734
Oh yeah we did settle on it, my bad.

So anything you anons wanna ask or discuss?

>inb4 why are you a fag QM :^)
>>
>>40442001
Will we run across exploratory elements of the grand crusade before the emps himself shows up? Though with our psychic signature they would probably find out about us without entering the same system. It also seems that unlike most primarchs, excepting curze and angron, we didn't have a mentor that raised us. It will be interesting to see how that affects us, the lack of a counterbalance that is. Especially with will being our theme stubbornness seems to likely be a flaw.
>>
>>40442160
Nah no exploratory elements for around another fifty to sixty years, plenty of time to get an empire up and running. Also roll a d18...each number is a primarch and he will be teh one with teh emprah

>>40442224

So multiple primarchs or just one? Rolling in case of the former
>>
>>40442224
why are you a fag QM :^)
No but really, what are our forces or planet like? We kind of jumped a fair bit of years, do we have any idea of what life is like on our planet(whose name I forget)? What kind of toys are our military using? And, I think this is most important, what kind of role are we playing back home? Dictator? Governor? Scarily charismatic CEO? What did they view us as?

Yeah, I know it's alot of questions, but inquiring minds want to know. Maybe we could have an offshoot thread specifically for fluff-building things like this. Just pure conversation on what it's like on our worlds.

>>40442252
Forces wear carapace armor, and wield lasguns, plasma guns that dont risk explosion, and autoguns. They also have special multilasers that can be carried by one man. Ground vehicles are basically the ones in the pic and are equipped with multiple lascannons and multilasers. Most beings are either mutants or really monstrous creatures(aka really mutated mutants)that people tend to hunt and kill, and sometimes eat.

Dictator for how you rule your entire planet. Your will needs to be enforced! Luckily your such a good dictator(primarchs can be that)that you are simultaneously loved and respected despite ruling through military power.

Vulkan, Ferrus Manus, and Perturabo. How strangely appropriate.

So far we have the blacksmiths and builders meeting us: Vulkan, Ferrus, and Perturabo. Roll one last time for Fulgrim or Magnus so we can see who the last primarch is.
>>
>>40442462
The other missing primarch isn't on here... Uh oh. So, unless I'm miscounting here, we only have six loyal primarchs, very much counting us. This will not be fun.

>>
after refreshing myself on the backstory (or lack thereof) of the lost legions I have only this to say. I really hope big E doesn't decide our delving into technology this deeply is reason enough to condemn us and make sure 9 of the fucking primarchs are there when they decide to fuck our shit up.
>>
Hmmm, alright since we have Vulkan, Ferrus, and Perturabo, we need one more primarch...

Ill let you all choose him. I cast my vote for Konrad Curze...cause I can
>>
>>40442845
Girlyman!
>>
>>40442845

Horus
>>
>>40442792
If Big E ever decides to purge us, we should send a portion of our legion on either the Invictus or another capital ship out to the Ghoul Stars with orders to colonize and dig in while we hold Kilionos. Fuck the ruinous powers, we just have our legion go full rogue.

>>40442845
Voting for Magnus.
>>
>>40442562
I miscounted. It's 11 primarchs counting us, and not counting magnus/fulgrim.
>>
>>40442845
Rogal Dorn
>>
>>40442845
The Red Cyclops
>>
>>40442907
when we die our will refuses to give in and inhabits the closest thing to a second body we have.
Invictus.
We will then proceed alone to either make a final holding maneuver while the rest of our legion evacuates Kilionos or lead them ourselves if they manage to get the people on board before we are destroyed. The principles of Invictus will later be used to make Dreadnoughts.
>>
>>40442845
Magnus, given our powers it seems to match up. I almost feel the primarchs we're meeting are too well matched up though. Oh well it was the dice. Also can we be the one primarch to go out of his way to be a bro to Perturabo, he has problems but is similar to us, and I feel everyone looking down on him and his legion would not sit right with us. The shadow is an intrinsic part of the light, and not to be belittled.

>>
I wonder if we could interface with the Butcher's Nails... they are just technology.
>>
>>40443082
Yes, we could interface with the butcher's nails. They're meant for that. They also rely on altering our mind, aka flesh. Man should drive Machine, not the other way around.
>>
>>40443127

Wait, so are we just going to completely fuck up the timeline?

>Oh, hey Perturabo, let's be best friends
>Angron, buddy, let's get those anger issues sorted out
>Dude, Magnus, dude, check out my sweet powers, don't you have something similar?
>Mortarion, uh... want to talk about your daddy issues?
>Horus, you're WAY too paranoid, want to go get a massage and hang out for a while?
>Curze... you ARE THE NIGHT! Oh, and, uh, your legion's kinda getting out of control, want some help with that?
>etc...
>>
>>40443341
well in canon we get heresied so hard Big E calls 9 primarchs to fuck our shit up.
>>
>>40443341
See, here's the thing. Most primarchs are always doing there own things, and (usually) the problems a legion might have can't be seen on the surface. If Angron wants to get crazy, Angron will get crazy. We rolled the guys that were loyal to the imperium, and the guys that we didn't will get corrupted. Nothing about who will get murdered where. Of course, if the QM wants switch up the order of the list or whatnot, he can do that. But there's all kinds of alternate heresies that can happen even without horus. Honestly, I'm just scratching my head at how Roboute Guilliman is supposed to be turn to the ruinous powers.
>>
>>40443650
Oh shit, Roboute is going to turn heretic. Nobody will ever write or follow the codex astartes.
I have the strangest feeling the mechanicus is going to be alot more active this time around. Hell, we got basically every machine-heavy primarch except mortarion, and that's debatable.
>>
Need to form a group with all the builders and stuff, the "Four Pillars" we build and hold the Imperium together with Steel and Concrete.

I do like the idea that we and the nightlords work well together, we are night and day, opposites yet the eternal cycle
