He might be the third or second strongest saiyan alive right now after all.

Extending your hand, you fly back while peppering Hanasia with Ki blasts, hoping to gain a bit of difference so you won't be overcome by two opponents at once for at least a few seconds.

Unfortunately, Bardock doesn't seem to get the memo, and is right on top of you as soon as you land, keeping you moving backwards and unable to even throw a punch as you try to dodge everything he's throwing at you.

He might have had a slow start, but Bardock isn't the type of foe that you can mess around with, his style is brutal, and you can learn a lot from the man if you pay attention.

Locking your fists together in a test of strength, you're pushing against each other, trying to gain dominance.

As Bardock starts to push back against you, both of you are digging your feet into the ground, refusing to give an inch.

When you see Hanasia's foot flying at your face out of the corner of your eyes, you suddenly jump up and kick off of Bardock putting some distance between you and the older saiyans once again.

Though Bardock is left trying to get his air back after your kick to his gut, Hanasia is still on your trail and not looking to give up an inch.

Dashing towards you, the elder saiyan attempts to catch you off guard with a spin kick aimed at your head that you barely manage to see coming in time to duck under it.

Attempting to counteract with a leg sweep since you're already on a downward motion, Hanasia jumps over it, and brings down a hammer blow with both fists that you grasp with both palms.

She's got the advantage here in positioning, and it's showing, despite your greater power level, you're still struggling to actually force her off of you.

"What's the matter Bruce, having trouble dealing with little old me after our last fight?" She asks with an amused grin as your clash of strength continues.

Since you haven't actually had a chance to practice the technique, despite actually wanting to, you decide that you can get away with a Riot Javelin or two.

It's a technique that's very powerful, and could possibly end up saving your life one day if push really comes to shove.

Mimicking the motions that Bardock described to you, as you have to imagine that's part of the reason that he did it in the first place, you put your hand forward and begin charging energy, a blue sphere coming to life.

Winding your hand back, you focus, before quickly shoving your hand forward again, launching the attack.

True enough to it's name, the sphere seems to have a line of energy following after it, and if your scouter is anything to go by with the fizzled numbers it's showing, that attack might have been enough to take out Dodoria... maybe even Zarbon in one hit.

It's only a few seconds later that you're finding yourself on one knee panting, trying to recover after that attack.

Risky indeed, you used a lot of energy today, but you almost feel lke even if you were at full power, the attack would still be draining.

Shaking your head a bit, you notice the hand in front of you offering to help you back up.

It's from Broly, and she has a concerned look on her face.

Shrugging off her concerns, you still accept the girl's hand and drag yourself up to your feet.

Hearing foot steps behind you, you're surprised to see that Hansia is up and about as well, saiyans do recover fast after all though...

The next morning, all of you ended up packing back into your pods for the journey back to planet Vegeta.

It'd been two months since you were home, and it'll be two more months of sleep until you returned again.

Kais you could already smell all of the delicious food that would be waiting for you back home when you could get there.

You needed to take Broly out on a date sure, but part of you was considering just taking everyone out and stuffing your faces together as a way to celebrate your first successful mission, along with the backup you managed to provide Bardock and his crew.

All in all, a hell of a first mission to be sent on, and one that any saiyan would be proud of.

Even if you didn't get a proper challenge out of your real foes, at least Bardock and Hanasia can give you a good fight, and really, that's all you want.

Dominating planets, genocide, executing Kings... none of that is fun really, actually having a challenge from a worthy foe... that's what you crave.

It's the thought that's left on your mind as you drift off to sleep in the pod once you're back into space.

When you next awaken, you're about to come in for a landing on Planet Vegeta.

Checking the computer, it confirms that two more months have indeed passed.

Bardock and his crew will be landing elsewhere, on a different platform, while your squad will be coming back into port where you left four months ago.

Prepping yourself for the landing, you're surprisd by how cushy it is, must be that new tech that they installed to prevent whiplash on the platforms.

Stepping out of your pod... wait, are you a bit taller than before?

Well, if it's something that's going to have to be done, might as well go ahead and get it out of the way, officially dismissing the crew for the day, Raditz is going home to talk to his mom, while Vegeta is goig back to the Palace.

Broly is going to go shower and get a change of clothes, she'll find you a bit later on once you're done with all of the official stuff.

Considering it's Broly, you really don't doubt that one, the girl seems to have a magical Bruce radar when it comes to managing to track you down with no previous leads to work with.

Bidding farewell to everyone, you and Hanasia are making your way to the Command Center fairly quickly. Picking up a rack of ribs each along the way to have as a light snack, just so you don't accidentally pass out from hunger, you'll hve a few minutes to talk to each other if you want to.

Hanasia has been a good friend/adviser so far, and she seems to both trust and like you.

Yeah his armor was kind of a mess, but you weren't about to admit that part of that was because of the match you'd had with him before leaving the planet.

Turning to Hanasia, Nappa continues "How'd the kid do Hanasia, any major problems?" He asks the mission adviser

She shakes her head in return "Prince Broosel lead excellently, I've found no issues in his command so far... though I would like to be added onto the team for future missions when possible. I found it rather enjoyable working with him."

Relaying your story to Nappa, you mention that the original mission was much easier than originally expected, and you let most of the work be done by your squad while you overlooked things and stepped in when necessary.

As for the Bardock assistance part, you mention that there were several powerful enemies, but they seemed to be rather unintelligent when it came to fighting with tactics, and you were able to overcome them through your skill and quick thinking.

Nappa seems rather impressed overall with your success on your first mission, congratulating you and mentioning that some extra credits are going to be given to your squad for assisting Bardock's team along the way.

Nice.

With a mention that he's looking forward to seeing more quality work out of you like this in the future, you and Hanasia are soon dismissed by Nappa to have your free time once again.

You likely won't be having another mission given for several days, and that means that you're going to be able to train and spend as much time just goofing off as you want.

Things are looking pretty damn good so far.
