You counter the badly done sword swings by dodging left and right like a proper boxer would do. You do a back dodge while putting yourself in a boxing stance and delivering a quick 1,2 to the first risen followed by a brutal haymaker making his neck make sounds that only nutcrackers are supposed to do

The second risen is a bit more tough and manages to give you a solid jab on the gut making you grasp for air before hitting you with the hilt of his sword.
