You float jump to reach the leaves of the trees, inhaling air to balloon yourself and flapping your tiny arms to propel yourself upward and fine not only 1 but 3 delicious apples attached to the tree. However as soon as you try to pluck it the tree shakes and you're thrown to the ground.

A face appears on the tree, it's a Whispy Wood? and it doesn't look like this one is very happy as his eyes look very cross at you.

BOSS FIGHT: Whispy Wood

Whenever you get close the tree blows you away, he's begun to throw spiked seed pods from his branches upon you. The occasional apple does to.

You manage to dodge all the spikes, it takes a little while to get a hold of one of the apples but you manage to succeed and spit the fruit back out as bolts of star energy until he is defeated!

Upon defeat all his apples fall into a big pile.

The nearby waddle appears to had taken out an umbrella to a parasol umbrella to avoid damage from the fight.

As soon as he recognizes you he cowers behind his parasol. After awhile he peeks over to see you still there, nervous he thrust his parasol outward at you, which knocks the apple out of your hand.

The Waddle Dee, stares at this, tilting his head slightly. Hesitantly he walks up to you and careful takes the apple away. He then bashfully turns away from you, you hear a crunch sound, and then you see him no longer with an apple.

He stares at you a moment unsure what to do next. He looks at his parasol and then extends it to you.

Hmm, very well then, you walk alongside him, hand in hand, and parasol in hand. At first the waddle is both surprised and confused by this but after awhile he begins to enjoy it and...is he blushing to?

Regardless it's not long before the both of you walk into Candy Cane lane, a lovely red and white striped road alongside the forest.

As you walk you hear the sound of hammering in the distance.
