Peta-chan and Hyun Chisato are overseeing the arrangement of fireworks for the evening. Undoubtedly stolen, more than likely illegal to use, Nevertheless Chi-chan seems to think festival fireworks are totally appropriate for a beach party, impromptu as it is. Peta-chan is more overseeing Chi-chan than the actual fireworks of course, when she isn't looking at clouds or playing in the sand.

If you didn't know she's substantially older than Kiku-chan and possibly yourself, you would be very much fooled by her act.

Your own age was earned in a sojourn through a place between the places that Barriers create, a sort of sub-dimension of that interface between the spirit world and the human world. It was two hundred years of impossible landscapes, horrific trials, and strange creatures. You suspect somehow that Oba-san dumped you into it when you were talking with the landlord last; you don't have any proof, but then, she is a goddess in her own right, effectively. Fortunately today is not a day for dealing with deities. Unfortunately it's dealing with humans, which has its own set of problems.

“Hey, Chi-chan. Shoko-san, Yui-niji-chan, and myself need to interrogate the two you talked to, but there's a trio of soldiers that we need to look into as well. Did you want to join us for that?” You lean over and study the trio of rather otaku-looking Yaks who are setting up a batch of sky-shells with cannon fuse as she turns to you.

Tapping the rolled up newspaper against the opposite hand, she looks surprised. “Soldiers, really? They must be either brave or really stupid to set foot on this beach.” Peta walks over to Chi-chan and demands to be picked up by lifting both hands, her geta making her stand nearly at Chisato's waist. Without hesitation Chi-chan picks up the diminutive nogitsune-born.

Grinning, you shake your head. “To a human, it looks like all the nogitsune-born are ordinary men and women, Chi-chan. Only to people like us would there be any obvious differences.” Understanding dawns in her expression. “Besides, I need your permission to let Yui-niji-chan sew your yak's fingers back on.”

“Really, she can do that?” Chisato turns to her explosives crew, and admonishes them quickly. “Don't you idiots fuck this up, we have special guests tonight! And NO SMOKING!” She waves the paper at them. “You smoke, and I'll let Peta feed YOU my cigarettes!” The nervous chorus of 'yes boss, yes ma'am, yes chief' is echoed by a few others who are setting up other kinds of displays nearby as well. Turning, she starts walking you towards the nearby beach house.

“As long as it's a clean cut, and as long as it's not been too long, I can do that, Chisato-sama,” explains your oni-chick politely.

“Eh, just call me Chi-chan. You're Aoi's friend, that makes you my friend.” Yui glances at you and you nods solemnly. “So, are they really soldiers, or are they special olice, or what?”

“Not sure, hence why I brought Shoko-san.” Shoko cracks her knuckles – she's wearing her gloves, leather pants and jacket even here, though she's added a one piece swimsuit to her outfit. The sound of her misshapen, swollen knuckles being cracked causes a half dozen nearby people to look around for the falling trees or guns.

[X] Yui's medical talents will be the reward for good little snitches....you're going to start off harsh.
[X] You're going to let Shoko do her diplomacy trick, actually, and see how far she gets.
[+] Why burden anyone else with being the thug....

“So she's your bad cop, then, huh?” asks Chi-chan, looking at the towering, muscular figure of Shoko-san, who blushes faintly. Peta-chan looks up as well and then shakes her head rapidly as if dizzied by the towering oni-child.

“No, she's the good cop. I'm the one they'll have nightmares about.” Yui-niji-chan glances at you but doesn't seem nearly as confused as Shoko-san does. Chisato merely takes you at your word; she is in no way ignorant of your background, though she had once assumed it was human Yakuza you worked for. “Besides, she's very good at talking to people. I'm kind of hoping there won't be any need to do anything outrageous.”

Shoko-san nods. “It really depends on how damned receptive they are, more than anything else, Ryukusa-sama. If they're fucking willing to talk to me, I can probably make them spill their stinking guts.” Peta-chan gives Shoko's speech golf claps, while Yui-niji-chan snickers.

Leading you around the back side of the each-house, Chisato leads you to a small shed in the back, where firewood and some cannisters of CO2 for the soda fountain in the shop are stored. The opening has chain linked fencing with a simple gate, currently chained; there are two support posts holding up the roof of the shed as well, and the two Yakuza toughs are tired to one while the trio of would-be infiltrators are tied to the other. All of them are sitting on the cement floor with legs outstretched, their arms bound behind the posts and in the case of the soldiers also linked together.

The young man who works for Chisato, and his quietly sobbing female companion are both looking a little worn out, and each of their left hands are bandaged. No one within the shed says a word as Chisato unlocks the gate after setting Peta-chan down. “So those three are soldiers, huh? Well, It's a surprise, but I guess it makes sense – there's usually a few cops in the gang, trying to gather evidence and stuff.”

Yui walks over to the two Yakuza, and kneels, looking at the bandages, and then looks at Chi-chan. “Do you have their fingers still?” Peta walks over and hands Yui-niji-chan a small container of ice. She looks at them and nods. “I can fix this easily, aniki.” As Yui takes the container, Peta walks over to the stacked wood and clambers onto it, sitting where she can watch the show. Chi-chan leans against the fence, while Shoko stoops to enter the place, earning her immediate and full attention from the soldiers.

Water Eyes doesn't give you anything new yet, other than the sense of failure and the feelings of responsibility from the leader of the trio of soldier-types while his subordinates are both afraid and trying to be strong, while the Yakuza are in pain and mixed bundles of anger, fear, and regret.

[X] Let Shoko-san start her work, while you assist Yui.
[X] Let them do their thing while you discuss the prisoners with Chi-chan.

You walk over to the Yakuza, the young woman sobbing and her head turned from you, the young man smirking at Yui-niji-chan despite his pale skin and sweaty brow. Kneeling, you glance at Chi-chan. “So we can fix this?” It's a concession to her power over them, as well as a way of making them underestimate you. Yui looks at Chisato expectantly, perfectly content to leave things as they are or not, as she wishes. Her attitude is equally deferential to Chisato, despite your presence; you can see her utter fearlessness, her calm acceptance of the necessity of dealing with these people, all five of them, as enemies to your family. She will take it as far as you wish, and be as merciful as you desire.

You're so proud of her you could burst.

“Sure, I can always take them off again. Or take off the other ones. I've never had that opportunity before, taking all their little fingers off and then having them put back on. That might be interesting.” Her casual attitude isn't just for show; unlike you, Chisato is a cold-blooded killer, and won't hesitate to kill all of these people just for infringing on her turf and causing trouble for her friend. She doesn't have the benefit of being able to deal with second offenders easily, unlike yourself.

“All right. Go ahead and start with her first. I'll deal with the bleeding.” You don't use Yui's name on purpose of course; no reason to give the enemy any more intel than they already have.

“Hai aniki. Do you want me to stop the pain?” Yui looks at you with glowing eyes of innocence.

“I think so, for her. We'll see about him in a moment.” Shoko is already talking to the other prisoners, her voice soft and calm; she sitting cross legged a short distance from them. You don't bother trying to overhear; she'll tell you what you need in due time undoubtedly. You start undoing the bandage on the girl's hand, and free her arm from the post to give Yui-niji-chan plenty of working room. “I'll hold her steady.” You grip the girl's wrist in your left hand; it won't move anywhere at all, that's for certain.

As Yui plants a series of acupuncture needles into the girl's arm and shoulder, the young man looks over at you. “So who are you, some transvestite pimp working for the sukeban?” It's a fair enough question, no doubt brought on by Yui calling you aniki. You turn your bloodied eyes on him, knowing that they're less horrifying than they were an hour and a half ago, but still shocking from the look on his face. Water Eyes shows you he's not actually that sure of himself, and he's wondering why your little bitch is helping them at all, considering how mad his boss was.

[] Not a transvestite, and not working for your boss. You're in much deeper trouble than that.
[] No, just the girl who's going to tear your fingers off one by one if you don't tell me everything.
[] Sure, why not. You'll get to come work for me after we're done with you if you aren't a good boy.
[] I'm just doing my Chi-chan a solid for helping me out. Now, about the people who hired you....
[] Mmm, you're still awfully feisty. Tell ~me~ what you told Chi-chan, and we'll see if I need to fix that.

Duck-walking to turn and face the young man – probably a little older than you look now that you're up close – you rest your arms on your knees, keeping some of your mind on controlling the blood flow to the girl's injured hand. Meanwhile, Yui begins the painstaking process of sewing her little finger back on using needle and thread she pulled from ~Nowhere~. You've been told that to human it just looks like you pulled things out of your pocket or from nearby, their brains sliding around the idea that an object just appeared out of ~Nowhere~.

“You're in an awfully good mood for someone whose sukeban took their little finger. Seeing as I owe Chi-chan a favor, I'll be taking over your situation.” Technically the loss of a finger also comes with forgiveness for the affront or failure, but you're not human, and you have a different set of priorities than Chisato does. “Unfortunately for you, I'm neither a transvestite, nor am I working for Chisato personally....since your boss already took your finger, you don't really have to worry about her.”

Peta-chan leans over to watch as you settle to your knees in a seiza style. The leader of the nogitsune-children's clan is tapping her heavy wooden geta on the blocks of wood rhythmically as she swings her feet; not loud enough to be a distraction to you, Shoko or Yui, but loudly enough that it bothers the humans. “You see, you're in much, much deeper trouble than just working off the clock, as it were. I can tell they didn't tell you exactly who you would be troubling by taking that cute little potshot at the princess.” You smile sweetly, and look him in the eye.

He looks at you with some trepidation, your strange attitude throwing him off balance. “First, I want you to tell me everything you told Hyun-sensei. Don't leave anything out. If you want to add something more, well, that will be better for you, not worse.” Watching him calmly, it is clear top your Water Eyes he's resigned to his situation and fate. “Because if you continue to have an attitude with ~me~, I can most certainly....Fix It.” This last is accompanied by a glance between his legs.

He starts speaking in a rush, but it isn't long before he calms down. “Just like I told her, there were some rich European guys, paid me and Yumi a lot of money to take a shot at the hottie. Gave me the gun, the dart, and a phone. They gave me two weeks to do it, said there were a few others, but whoever got her first got the rest of the money. Just needed to shoot her with the dart is all, didn't even have to kidnap her or anything, so I figured it wouldn't be that big a deal. There were pictures of you, her, and a couple of other cute chicks on the phone he gave me.”

Yui speaks up without looking away from her work. “I can find out where it calls to, aniki.” The girl is whimpering softly, but you can see she isn't in any pain.

“Nah, he said it was an untraceable throwaway kind of phone, and there was only the one number in it, to another cheap throwaway. He said he's only gonna turn it on for five minutes at a time, on the hour.” The guy is being honest and truthful so far. “There were two other guys with the old guy. They were like, bodyguards or something. The old guy was definitely one of those military-industrialist types, nice duds, sunglasses, gun in his coat, German I think.” He shrugs. “Then that weird chick said she knew where you would be and would help me sneak the gun close without getting caught.”

“No name, no reason....why did you believe her?” The Yak gives you an odd look.

“Uh....no reason not to I guess....” He seems a little disturbed by the line of thought now that it's been pointed out to him.

[XX] See if you can use the Void to jog his memory.
[XX] Ask him what he'll do when they ask about his lack of success.
[XX] Ask him if he understands exactly who he tried to dose with that dart.

You try and use the tentative connections you have to the Void to help job his memory, to see if he can recall anything else that might be remotely helpful in identifying the people who hired him. “Was there anything more that you can recall that was odd or strange about her? Or about the people she was with?” You try and gather just a bit of that sense of openness, that ability to pick up and send impressions, and for a few seconds you get a flash of memory from him, of talking to another young woman, a woman who was dressed in Chinese clothing, speaking at the same time Fenghuang was talking to him. Your Water Eyes can see the altered parts of his memory, the changed areas in his thoughts and memories where someone altered them using power.

There is a soft whine from his girlfriend, and Yui calls sharply, “Aniki!” You turn your attention back to controlling the blood flow to the girl's mostly reattached finger, the momentary alteration of your Water Eyes leaving your head aching and your concentration scattered. Apparently mixing Void Eyes with Water eyes takes up all your concentration.

Well, you learned two new things, at least, but the way your head is hurting, you probably want to restrict that talent to use inside Barriers or in an emergency.

“Yeah....yeah there was....no, no I guess there wasn't. I thought....” He shakes his head. “I don't remember. I just em,ember the cute girl, saying she could help....”

“It was a boy,” says his girlfriend softly, between sobs.

You can actually see his mind changing, watch as he fits the things he saw into the narrative he was told by the demon-girl and her friend. “Yeah, yeah I remember, it was a guy after all.” That is one pernicious memory alteration – no little bit of sorcery, but some heavy duty mind control!

“Well, you're telling the truth at least. You'll be happy to know I'm not going to rip any more of your fingers off....though you might consider what the Westerners will do now that you've failed.” You study him using just your Water eyes, and his innate sense of superiority and self reliance come to the fore at once.

“No, they're not a big deal, they're just some idiot foreigners. They said first come, first served, I'll just fade into the woodwork. It's not worth the risk, pissing off Chisato like that.” He seems resigned to being an underling for a while longer now, his penance paid and his punishment accepted. Chisato grins, but Peta leans further forward, even more interested as you smile.

“So, you really don't know who you tried to shoot? That's interesting.” He looks at you, lost. “So, you've never heard of Kumatori Kiki, then. No? Daughter of Kumatori Hojo?” A faint spark of recognition flickers in his expression. The girl is looking at you too, your sweet, kind voice having drawn her attention. “As in, the head of the Hojo Technical Group....” Understanding dawns in her eyes and she goes even more pale. He doesn't quite get it, so you add the last clue. “As in Josei Bumon Hojo.” THAT makes him go pale. “I happen to be the Clan Ryu bodyguard they requested.

That elicits a desperate whimper from the young woman, and his jaw drops. “Ah, uh, boss, I didn't know, I really didn't know, I'm sorry!” He's desperately trying to apologize to Chisato for getting you involved, and it's actually kind of cute.

Er Yin's presence fills your mind. (Ryukusa-sama. I have investigated the dart. It is filled with the essence of Chinese demons. I am not certain if it would have been fought off by Kiki-hime's body or not, but while it was inside her, she would have been easily influence by any Chinese demon of greater strength.) Your anger is enough of an answer for her. (I cannot say that it is necessarily magical in and of itself. I will try to learn more when we are in a safer place.)

“I'm done here, aniki. Do you want me to fix his finger too?” Chisato walks over and looks over your niji-chan's work; the girl is still scared to death that you're going to kill her of course, but otherwise she's in fair health, maybe a little weak from blood loss and kind of in shock from terror.

Though I don't know if Chi-chan will view him as an X-COM Rookie with a low PSI/Bravery score and just get rid of him and the girl.

To be fair, he's the kind of guy to shoot someone for money.

But then again, any of the Yakuza you work with is the same, and Ryukusa was ready to forgive people far more horrible for harming her family.

[X] Sure. Forget the painkillers though.

Shoko-san is stand – er, crouching, and is headed towards you, her expression concerned. “Sure, niji-chan. Don't bother with the painkillers though. Maybe you can pick up a few new swear words as he contemplates the fact that I'm going to not only let him live, but his sukeban is allowing him to have his finger back.” You look him in the eyes as you deliver the verdict, and he bows his head to you several times, as that's the best he can manage with his arms tied to the pole behind him.

You meet Shoko halfway, and she leans close. “I'm thinking we should all speak outside, Ryukusa-sama.” You nod, and tilt your head to Chisato-san, who is patting the Yak-girl on the head as she sobs in relief that she's being allowed to live. To his credit, the Yak thug grits his teeth and takes his punishment like a man, though you do feel sorry enough for him to control the blood flow. Well, not really, but him not bleeding everywhere makes Yui-niji-chan's job a lot easier.

Peta-chan hops off the wood pile and walks with you as well, immediately taking her pet's hand as Chisato joins you outside. Shoko-san deliberately turns her back on the shed. “Aniki,” she starts, and is a bit taken aback by your glare. “Uh, Ryukusa-sama, sorry. Anyways....those men are from Public Security, as in the fucking Public Security fucking Intelligence Agency. They were sent by the kamidamned Ministry of Justice to see if they needed to bloody extract your princess from our clutches!”

Chi-chan lets out a low whistle. “Wow, you're movin' up in the world if you're qualified as a terrorist organization all by yourself Aoi-chan!”

Peta tugs on your sleeve and hands you a piece of paper. Taking it, you read the childish scribbles. 'The Ministry can only act under the Diet's orders.' And the Diet, as you recall, had a vested interest in Toshio Ryoga's experiments and ties to the foreign military concerning Kiki-hime. Ryoga had to have given them some kind of clue that you would be here today, or they have their own seer or fortuneteller.

>You stagger through the blue mist that clutches and grasps at your ankles, the illumination of the caverns purple flesh waxing and waning with the effervescent movement of the pool surrounding the oracle's throne. You hear her voice speaking, prophesies in languages you don't understand, her eyes staring at you from her palms as she cradles them carefully. The ruined holes in her head drool aqueous blue mist, which oozes and squirms it's way across the grotesquely colored pool, strange figures and sinuous bodies half-glimpsed in the mist's changing form. You shout your demand to the oracle, and she asks

“Are you okay Aoi-chan? You're lookin' like you want to throw up.” Shoko-san is looking concerned, while Peta has managed to stand next to you and somehow place your hand on her head between her ears, like some kind of strange guardian statue. Chi-chan is looking at you with real concern though.

You shake your head. “I'm fine. Just....thinking.”

This is very, very bad. Killing them would bring attention onto Chisato-chan and her people. Letting them go would let Taisho Ryoga know you are aware of his machinations. They're only human, but in this kind of emergency you could get your own sorceress to mess with their heads in the name of not having to kill them. None of which is particularly great sounding at the moment.

Unless there is another way....

[] Ask Chi-chan is she wants to deal with them as she would deal with any outsider in her business.
[] Talk to them yourself, and see where they stand on the matter.
[] Get Er Yin to polish their brains.
[] Let them go – with a warning as only you can give.
[] Ask Peta for help.

[X] Talk to them yourself, and see where they stand on the matter.
[X] Ask Peta for help.

“I'll go and talk to them. Shoko-san, go see if Yui-niji-chan needs help, and when she's done, turn them over to Chi-chan. Leave those three there.” Shoko-san nods and quickly goes to see if Yui needs help, which is more to get her out of the way than anything else. You suspect she realizes it too, but her lack of comment makes it easier on you.

“Chi-chan, I'm going to try and settle this as best I can without calling down trouble on you or your people. If you have any ideas, now would be a good time for them.”

She shakes her head. “Sorry, Aoi-chan, but you're swimmin' with sharks a who lot bigger than mine are! I'm just a lil' jellyfish compared to you people!” It's true, for the most part. Even with the headway she's made in her own organization, she's nowhere near to operatign on Clan Ryo or the Hojo Technical Group, and they barely merit interesting looks from the Public Security Intelligence Agency.

“How about you Peta-chan, you got any ideas?” She looks up at you – after placing her hand over yours to keep it on top of her head – and then lifts her other hand in a fox-sign. “Well, if you say so, I guess that's a good idea.” You concentrate on Yuuhi-chan, and there is a burst of sand and wind in front of you as Yuuhi appears out of seeming nowhere, her sword held at her side and her hand on the hilt, ready to draw it from her crouching position.

Chi-chan leaps back, and Peta rubs sand out of her eyes as you blink in surprise.
>>
>>40263409
Yuuhi glances around and then stands up, looking slightly disappointed. “I'm here aniki! Did you need something?”

You blink a few more times, taking in the surprisingly impossible response time your samurai seems to have decided to demonstrate. “Well, aside from a new heart and maybe a pulse, Peta-chan said you might be able to help me.” That causes Yuuhi's spirits to lift considerably. “I have a trio of humans that are members of a very important government agency that I can't kill, can't mind-wipe, and can't allow to go free.”

Yuuhi-chan blinks and flicks her ears. “You want me to lose them?”

“....what do you mean by 'lose them' exactly?”

“Get them lost, lose them in their life, make them harmless without hurting them. 'Lose' them.” You're having difficulty following her thought process here, but you're pretty sure that's the gist of what you need. “It wouldn't hurt them and I'm allowed because of my poppa's nature and when they get asked about it they won't know what anyone is talking about and there's no way to fix it outside of an exorcist but only an exorcist or sorcerer would realize something's wrong.” Aside from Yuuhi not bothering to breathe, it sounds like it would be helpful.

Shoko, Yui, and the two Yakuza are approaching, and Chisato heads them off. Both the Yaks immediately kowtow and she lets them grovel a bit.

Peta looks up and you and nods solemnly.

[] Actually that sounds like exactly what I need.
[] Let me talk to them first, and I'll let you know.
[] As long as it doesn't cause them harm to put them in danger, that would be fine.
[] So it's a kind of curse? Are you okay with using a curse like that?

[X] ….waitaminute, how did you get here like that?
[+] Details, woman, details! Give me all the dirty, sordid, salacious, slippery, hot....where was I? Oh yeah, DETAILS!

“Can you explain any better than that, Yuuhi-chan?” you ask gently, stroking her soft hair, careful not to touch her oversensitive ears and put her to sleep by accident.

“Um, no?” Well, it's not entirely surprising.

“Well, how did you get here so quickly?”

“Huh?” Her blank, innocent look is, unfortunately, entirely real.

Peta-chjan, on the other hand is holding up both hands in her fox-signs, looking quite smug for someone who looking like a seven year old.

Well, at least you know Chi-chan will be perfectly safe in her care if she can conjure her nogitsune-children clan out of nowhere like that. “Don't worry about it, Yuuhi-chan. Let me talk to them, and see if it's necessary. Hopefully it won't be, but if it is, I'll have you take care of it.” Of course you're planning on asking your experts in magic and healing about it first.

“Okay, aniki!” She sits down in the sand, apparently ready to wait as long as necessary. Chi-chan picks up Peta and they start talking, small talk for the most part, making sure Yuuhi-chan is enjoying the party.

You walk over to Yui and Shoko, the two Yakuza having left on their own. Undoubtedly to go hide in their room for a few days, if they know what's good for them. “Yui-niji-chan, what can you tell me about 'losing someone' in the context of a spell or curse?” Shoko looks as confused as you felt.
>>
>>40264198
Yui seems to understand perfectly though. “It's a kind of curse where the person goes through the motion of their daily life at him without any real sense of time or space. It's pretty harmless as far as curses go. Usually someone will come over and check on them, and that breaks the active part of the curse. The other part is that it makes them forget about things that happened immediately beforehand. Like, if Kuraokami used it on Kiki-hime, she would forget that she's been under your protection, that she's your wife, but not that she's pregnant or the daughter of her father. She'd go home and make tea, eat meals, shop, and do everyday, ordinary things until someone came and snapped her out of it. Probably pick out lots of baby things in catalogs too.” Yui-niji-chan looks up at you curiously. “Are you gonna do that to the soldiers? Only an exorcist or really strong sorceress would be able to restore the memories of what they were doing beforehand.”

….it sounds an awful lot like she's seen that curse put into action.

“I might. I'm going to talk to them about it. Shoko-san, stay with Yui-chan. We don't want anyone on their own right now.” She nods seriously, and Yui-chan looks up at her and nods as well. They go over and join Yuuhi, whom you note has put herself in a position where she can keep an eye on you as you go to interrogate the humans. You flex your crystalline talons slowly. Dealing with humans is probably going to be the worst part of this.

As you approach the trio of humans – the two younger men in their twenties, and the leader, commander, what have you who is in his late thirties, looking at you with a strange expression. You slow down, and lash your tail slowly….which he follows with his eyes for a split second before he can stop himself.

How did Shoko-san miss that?

What information might Er Yin (based on her knowledge of things and her nature as a seer), Kiki (based on her intuition and understanding), and Inau (based on her experIence) be able to impart to Ryukusa about her abilities as a demigod? Her combinations of the Eyes as an example.
>>
>>40264529
Er Yin's experiences with demigods is a little more esoteric than Ryukusa is going to be used to, as for Er Yin, there are not so much demigods as immortals of various types depending on how they were granted their immortality. Her understanding of demigods is going to be somewhat skewed as a result.

Kiki is actually a little more familiar with them, given that she was somewhat more involved with them during her years at Celestial High than Ryukusa or Akari were. Most of her information will be observational rather than practical.

Inau, on the other hand, will be able to help Ryukusa understand her nature and some of her abilities. While she is a kamuy-born demigod, and she lacks the abilities and elemental nature of dragonettes, she will be able to give Ryukusa a much more in depth understanding of her role in the world as well as some practical information on her outlier abilities (such as, for instance, her unusual ability to combine Water eyes with other types of Eyes).

Thanks for the thread!

What does Chisato think about having Peta as lover/master ?

>>40264529

Don't forget Kiku
>>
>>40264702
Kiku's experience with demigods is minimal - her experiences are much more tied to actual dieties.

As far as Chisato's thoughts, well, she's quite pleased with her life and how things have changed for her as a result of Ryukusa's pullign her into the 'real' world. Her affair with Peta is quite pleasant for both of them. Make no mistake - Peta is definitely the one in charge there.
>>
>>40264677
Wouldn't Kiki's wood nature lead her to a greater understanding of Ryukusa's nature as well (not knOwledge, but understanding)?
