I genuinely think a campaign based around Eurovision and the political dodgy dealings therein would be really entertaining.

When Azerbaijan hosted it, there was LOADS of corruption going on. People were being forced out of their homes by the government, so that they could demolish them and build a stadium on top of them. The Azerbaijani act was literally the President's daughter's boyfriend. When he was questioned about whether this was in any way nepotistic, the guy became really standoffish and defensive and didn't do himself of his country any favours at all.
