“You probably won't die today, that's an improvement,” you grunt, pulling the sack back up over the dwarf's head and slinging it over your shoulder as she gives a yelp.

Ur when he wakes up half a year later

I think the dworfs became the bodies for the divine spirits and it seems the ugly rats were in the middle of making the chick into the fifth divine spirit.

“No time, the Kulakin are coming, and we are in no state to fight off another wave,” you grunt, turning and calling together the remaining warriors, ordering two to help Ur.

It's going to be slow, but you should still have a head start on them if you leave now.

“Okay, let's go, lead the way,” you tell the coven, as you make your slow way back through the winding tunnels.

You hear kulakin cries echoing from the darkness behind you as you scramble through dark tunnels and blood-stained chambers. All the fire is gone from your warriors now, and you doubt they would put up much of a fight if the kulakin attacked, they just want to escape.

“They're catching up,” Ashuris hisses, and you grunt in response, the pain in your side from the divine servant's claws bringing spots to your eyes. You don't even want to look at how bad it is.

“Oh fuck, oh fuck, I can hear them, are they close?” the dwarf asks over your shoulder.

“Just keep quiet,” you growl, stumbling as your knee buckles under you. The pain is starting to fade in your side, that's good... right?

The dwarf yelps as you bump her against the wall to steady yourself.

“Almost there,” Ashuris gasps, rounding a corner.

You can hear it, over the din of kulakin howls, hungry for blood, the sound of running water.

You stumble through the darkness, vision blurring, the dwarf's voice reduced to an irritating buzz.

Finally you burst out onto the riverside, collapsing to one knee.

What now? The kulakin retreated from the river before, you heard, but you can't be sure they will again. You could push on, up the tunnel into the camp, or you could have one of the warriors go fetch reinforcements and meet them here.

Either way, a lot of orcs are going to see Ur looking half-dead, and that's not good.

So unless you can think up another plan real quick, those are your options.

You nod, turning to one of the three orcs. “Go up top and gather as many reinforcements as you can, we'll make the kulakin regret following us here.”

The orc nods, running off up the tunnel, and you soon hear the sounds of orcish feet, even as Ashuris ceases making her dumb noises and a giant shelled monster appears with a loud crack.

The first of the kulakin burst out onto the riverbank, the creature seizing the first to emerge in a thick tentacle, smashing it against the wall of the cavern.

It swats aside a second, tentacles lashing and grasping, crushing the shrieking creatures. The reinforcements appear down the tunnel, a whole horde of orcs, more than enough to meet the kulakin.

You grin, feeling surprisingly good in spite of all that's happened, light-headed even. Ur will be fine, the fey will heal him, the clan will slaughter the kulakin, you feel good, you can't even feel your wound any more. You blink the darkness away from the edge of your vision, dropping the dwarf to pull out your axe, the chamber leaning to one side as you do.

Can't... feel... a thing.

Kul'zog Zor's blessings are very useful, you just have to know when to use them. Orcish Fury is a very powerful ability when used against large numbers of weaker enemies, or to force an advantage from a stalemate, especially if you can get plenty of your followers all riled up and spread the rage.

You used it in a situation it really wasn't optimal for in that case, and suffered for it.

I don't think so at all, sure Ur has been shown to be somewhat cocky and aggressive, but he has also been shown to be smart and tactical minded, and definitely not retardedly stupid and reckless. For example, he ordered the female elven caster to be killed during the raid, because she realized she wasn't worth it.
