The others, you’re not too familiar with, though you get the definite impression from their body language that they know each other pretty well. One of them wears tight yellow and green spandex, with a bandana folded about his head and an insignia reminiscent of a dragon adorning his chest. You’ve heard of him, but his name kinda escapes you right now – it’s something like Dragonfist or Dragonfly or whatever. The other is a tall, broad shouldered man with dark skin, a big bald head, and… a tight t-shirt. You’re assuming he’s called T-Shirt Man.

None of these people seem very happy, but you get the impression that they’re more bored than anything else. The other two, however, are fully engaged in their discussion.

Their lines of argument seem to mostly come down thus:

This actually isn't a bad idea. The apartment building probably has a basement. There's probably a subway or sewer line that passes under the building. JJ can dig through solid rock and Kevin can melt trough basically anything. Either one of them could create a secret entrance easy

3) Our allies are fairly close by in the scar

You know, this is really surreal. You sort of imaged that superheroes didn’t shout at each other unless it was to say stuff like “That monkey’s got a gun!” or “Avengers Assemble!” or “Look out, Cap!” Yet here you are, watching the spittle rocket from Daredevil’s mouth as he attempts to dress down a man in a flawless white suit and a bedsheet mask.

Now that you think about it, Moon Knight really looks more like a very morbid luchador than a superhero. Or the ghost of one.

You yawn. It actually hurts a bit.

Listening out for any sirens threatening to veer a little too close, you trudge your way back toward the Scar, slipping out of sight. You still stink, but NY in general stinks. It takes you a little while to get your bearings, but its smooth walking from there, and you reach the edge of the Scar just as the very edge of the horizon begins to turn grey. You think to anyone else it wouldn’t even be noticeable, but the way you see colors now… it’s different. Sharper. There are more lines, more layers.

As you beeline your way through the ruins it soon becomes apparent that you can hear music. Heavy, hard bass, thrumming through the earth in ponderous waves. You pause, and make a slight detour away from the station, a little deeper into the Scar. Soon enough an orange glow, like that of dawn, begins to rise over the old, blasted-out shells that littler the place, and you find yourself cresting the side of a toppled apartment complex to look down upon…

Assorted alcohols mingle in the air, rising up upon a strata of sweat and adrenaline and cooked meat. What’s all this then?

Feeling more than a little unsettled by the prospect of loud, bright things right in the middle of your highly illegal shanty town (not to mention the middle of the night), you climb your way down into the glow of the fire, making sure to give the flames themselves a very wide berth as you skulk around between the dancers and drinkers and general merrymakers.

You don’t think you’ve ever seen this many mutants in one place. It’s more than there were earlier that night, before Operation Stupid got rolling, but it soon becomes clear that some familiar faces are at play here. Almost immediately you spot Santo’s lumbering silhouette over one of the fires, shifting ponderously to the mishmash of different radios. You think he’s dancing. You spot Corsairs, too, moving through the din – you’d make a pretty educated guess that they’re the ones responsible for all the music and cooking stuff.

Someone in QTG made a point to list some Quest that have finished. We got to about thirty before giving up, and most of those comepleted were by the same group of people.

Life, work, and depression all seem to stop QM's from continuing, and that why we only have a completion rate (which I gloriously pulled from my ass) of about 1/15, maybe less.
