The next match is over in seconds, with Kalana defeating Jewel incredibly easily. In fact, she only has to throw a single punch to send him flying from the ring and crashing into a brick wall. Honestly, you're mildly surprised that didn't kill him.

The audience is shocked by the match, as apparently Jewel has been the runner up in the previous tournament. So, having him get crushed in the first round had to have been very much unexpected.

"Next up, Nappa vs Bojack!" the announcer decrees, cutting through the noise of the crowd.

Nappa chuckles to himself as he steps past you, walking beside a large blue-skinned man in a jacket. The two don't look at each other as they step into the ring, going to opposite sides in silence before finally turning to face each other.

"Both competitors are new to the World Tournament!" the announcer informs the crowd. "We know nothing about their training, where they came from, or anything beyond their names! So, there's no telling how this match will play out!"

Nappa cracks his knuckles, while Bojack smirks confidently.

Cell watches this match with genuine interest, and you notice the purple-skinned man staring at Bojack with some confusion.

"Begin!" the announcer calls.

You stay where you are and watch the match.

Nappa starts things off by transforming into a Super Saiyan, creating a powerful gust of wind as his aura turns gold and his power levels increases. Bojack continues to watch in amusement as Nappa gathers more energy, causing the wind to pick up further.

As Nappa charges, you see the purple man's eyes widen in shock. In a moment, you understand why.

Bojack's power increases greatly, and as Nappa charges, he remains rooted in place, raising his hand to block the first punch that Nappa throws. There is a loud crash as the collision between Nappa's fist and Bojack's palm creates a shockwave. Nappa growls in frustration as Bojack stops his punch dead.

Yelling, Nappa throws a kick that catches his opponent in the chest, sending Bojack sliding backward. The blue man grins at Nappa, gathering energy and firing a powerful blast at the Super Saiyan.

Nappa brings in his right fist, shouting as he backhands the attack into the sky, where it soon vanishes from sight. The two fighters break into a charge at the same instant, meeting in the center of the ring and exchanging blows. Nappa lands another kick, sending his opponent sliding back once more, but Bojack seems unconcerned.

The lax nature of his foe is clearly beginning to irritate Nappa, who gathers a great deal of energy and pulls back his right hand before thrusting it forward and sending a massive wave at Bojack.

Nappa's foe does not move, and the wave hits him with a brilliant flash. However, once you're able to see Bojack again, you realize that he hasn't been hurt at all. Not only that, but his skin is now green, and his power level has risen even further.

Nappa takes a nervous step back as Bojack steps forward, the green-skinned creature raising his hands and firing an energy wave that Nappa finds himself unable to stop, quickly being pushed to the edge of the ring.

Nappa is simply unable to transform into a Super Saiyan 2 quickly enough to stop it, and is pushed out of the ring, crashing into a brick wall much like Jewel did in the previous match.

Bojack stops his attack, returning to his normal form and silently exiting the ring as the announcer calls the match.

Cell stares at Bojack, studying him with great interest as the purple man looks in absolute terror. Bojack pauses, locking eyes with Cell for a moment before continuing on, ignoring everyone else as he walks off on his own.

"The next battle will be Gohan vs Majunior!" the announcer calls. "Gohan is the son of Goku, the former world champion! Majunior is a former competitor that faced off against Goku in the semifinals two tournaments ago, in a contest where he destroyed this arena. Uh, please try not to do that this time around."

Piccolo smirks as he steps into the ring, facing Gohan, who looks upon his former teacher with confidence. Sparks begin to fly around the ring as the two competitors gather energy, Gohan transforming into a Super Saiyan before the battle even begins.

After quickly looking over to make sure Nappa is unharmed, you make your way over to Bojack. He shows little interest as you approach, but does give you his attention when you speak.

"Who and what are you guys exactly, if you don't mind me asking," you say.

He smirks. "I am Bojack, the mightiest warrior in the galaxy. My soldiers and I are here to do battle with the strongest warriors of this planet."

He does not offer any further information, and so you turn your attention back to the match. Piccolo is on the offensive, firing energy blasts that Gohan nimbly dodges. The Half-Saiyan takes to the sky, and Piccolo continues firing blast after blast at your friend, who continues to easily evade every last one.

It takes you only a moment to realize what Piccolo is doing, and another moment for Gohan to figure it out as well. His eyes go wide, and he looks around to find hundreds of orbs floating around him, suspended in the air and creating a bright glow over everything.

"You were sloppy!" Piccolo shouts, bringing his hands together.

The blasts zoom towards Gohan, striking him with a loud boom as a massive cloud of smoke obscures your vision. The attacks pour in by the dozen, striking Gohan again and again until there are none left.

Everything is silent, and the smoke slowly begins to clear, revealing Gohan with his arms crossed in front of his face. He is breathing heavily, but appears mostly unscathed.

He drops to the ground and slowly steps towards Piccolo.

"Sloppy is wasting so much energy and thinking that you could beat me with such a basic attack!" Gohan shouts in response to Piccolo's prior statement, gathering his energy with every step he takes towards the Namekian.

Piccolo chuckles. "It's not over yet, Gohan."

A glow surrounds Piccolo's body, and you feel a surge of power as the Namekian warrior slowly begins to grow, becoming larger and larger.

Piccolo soon towers over Gohan, and everything else in the arena. He smirks down at his opponent, and raises his right fist, punching at the ground where Gohan stands.

Gohan leaps, avoiding the punch, and throwing an energy blast into Piccolo's face. The massive Namekian staggers back a step, then swats at Gohan, attempting to knock him from the sky.

Gohan narrowly avoids the hit, and closes in, going to attack Piccolo's face once more. Piccolo opens his mouth wide, and shoots out a colossal beam of energy, hitting Gohan full force and sending him hurtling back through the sky.

Gohan tumbles back, righting himself just in time to see Piccolo's hand above him. He is swatted down to the ring below, hitting the ground with a crash.

Piccolo raises his foot, stomping down, only for Gohan to roll out of the way and get back to his feet. Ducking beneath a massive kick, Gohan rolls forward, jumping back in the air and striking the back of Piccolo's knee, causing his leg to buckle.

Gohan rises higher, holding his hands above his head. "MASENKO HA!"

A golden beam of energy strikes the back of Piccolo's head, sending him falling forward, and crashing face first into the arena floor. He groans, pushing himself back up, and looking back at Gohan.

The Super Saiyan cups his hands at his side, gathering more energy. Two beams of light shoot from Piccolo's eyes, and Gohan quickly drops to the ground in order to evade them.

Piccolo rises back to his feet, towering over Gohan once again. Gohan fires a barrage of energy attacks up at Piccolo, only to be knocked into the air by a giant kick. Piccolo reaches out and grabs Gohan out of the sky, holding his smaller foe tight.

Gohan struggles in Piccolo's grip, and lets out a yell, sending energy in all directions and forcing Piccolo's hand open.

He flies forward, firing a pair of energy blasts that Piccolo cuts through with eye beams, then dives and flies between Piccolo's legs.

Gohan lands behind Piccolo, and cups his hands as his opponent turns.

"Kame...ha..me...." Gohan shouts, leaping above another kick thrown by Piccolo. "HAAA!!"

A blue wave of energy strikes Piccolo in the face, causing him to stagger and fall backwards. Piccolo is forced to shrink in order to avoid crushing anyone in the audience, and hovers over the ground outside the ring.

The two warriors stare at each other, before Piccolo smiles.

"I surrender."

The crowd cheers as Piccolo lands outside of the ring, walking towards the waiting area as Gohan rushes to meet him.

"Majunior has forfeited the match!" the announcer shouts. "Gohan is the winner!"

You can hear Erasa, Sharpner, and Chi Chi cheering from the audience as your two friends walk towards the waiting area, talking happily with one another.

"I'm very proud of you, Gohan," Piccolo tells him. "You've come a long way as a warrior."

"Thank you, Piccolo, but the truth is, I barely won," Gohan replies. "You're far more powerful than I thought."

Piccolo smirks. "You weren't using anywhere near your full power. This was a test of skill, not strength, and you emerged the victor."

"Next, we have Goku vs Bido!" the announcer tells the crowd.

"Congratulations," you tell Gohan as he and Piccolo reach you. "That was a great match."

Gohan nods, grinning. "Thank you."

"Hey Piccolo, how come you never use that giant form?" you ask.

"I've rarely been in situations where it would have been particularly useful," Piccolo answers. "Here, I was able to make it work, however."

Goku and a blue-skinned man with orange hair and an orange beard pass you, stepping into the ring and turning to face one another.

Goku immediately turns Super Saiyan as he waits for the match to begin.

"How has your dad's training been?" you ask Gohan.

"Intense," your friend answers. "He's been pushing himself to his absolute limits, and beyond. His strength has grown a lot. I can't wait to see just how far he's come."

"Let the match begin!"

Bido laughs as Goku rushes his way, going on the defensive as the Super Saiyan fiercely attacks. You can feel Bido's power surge, and he's able to fend off Goku's strikes, for a short while, anyway. However, Goku gathers more energy, and Bido is soon forced back, retreating under Goku's onslaught.

"What do you guys think about Bojack and his people?" you ask Gohan and Piccolo.

"It's hard to say," Gohan tells you. "I know nothing about them, but they seem like strong warriors."

"But something about their energy feels..dark," Piccolo comments. "And some of it feels as if it isn't their own."

Goku punches Bido in the face, sending the fighter sliding back across the ring, nearing the edge. Goku drops into a guarding stance as Bido yells and rushes forward, attacking furiously, but finding himself unable to land a single strike.

Gou hits Bido with a palm-strike to the nose, causing him to stagger backwards. Looking at Goku with rage, Bido leaps into the sky and creates a bright red ball of energy, which he throws down at Goku.

Goku lets out a yell, and punches the attack back up at its sender, hitting Bido and causing him to fall right out of the sky.

Bido stops himself just before he would have landed outside of the ring, roaring in frustration and rising back into the air.

He raises his right hand above his head, creating another ball of energy which he throws down at Goku. Goku swats the blast aside before charging into the sky, firing an energy blast of his own, which Bido raises his arms to block.

Bido stops the blast, but Goku quickly moves behind him and elbows him in the back. Bido turns and attacks Goku, only to be quickly beaten back and pummeled through the air. Soon, it becomes too much, and Bido is sent crashing to the ground outside of the ring.

"Winner, Goku! Next up, Mighty Mask vs Killa!" the announcer shouts as Goku lands at the edge of the ring, checking to make sure that Bido is alright.

Satisfied, he powers back down to his normal form, and walks to the waiting area, as a tall black man, and a clumsy looking fellow in a ridiculous outfit make their way into the ring.

"Congratulations!" you tell Goku as he makes his way into the waiting area.

"Thanks!" he says with a grin. "That was pretty fun. But I want to fight someone tougher next time."

You make your way over to Videl, who doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the match, and is rather talking to Kazuma, Billy, and Haya.

"So, who are those two fighters?" you ask her.

"Mighty Mask and Killa," she tells you, glancing towards the ring. "They both fought in the last Tournament. Killa fought okay back then, but neither of them are anything special."

"So guys, did you see that amazing Saiyasentai movie?" you ask the others with a smirk.

Haya scowls. "Yeah, I saw it."

Kazuma chuckles. "It was...entertaining."

"Unbelievable! Killa is down with one punch!" the announcer yells.

You glance at the ring to see Mighty Mask wobble down the stairs and stagger into the waiting area. Killa twitches on the ground for a while, until a stretcher is brought in for him.

"Next, Krillin vs Pintar!" the announcer shouts. "Both fighters are veterans of past tournaments, but Krillin hasn't competed since the twenty-third tournament. It's good to have him back!"

You watch Krillin, and some massive dark-skinned man with a ponytail walk towards the ring, Krillin looking rather annoyed as the other fighter tried to trash talk him. When the match begins, Pintar goads Krillin into taking the first punch, which sends Pintar bouncing from the ring and ends the match.

"Next up, the lovely lady with the silly name, Number Eighteen!" the announcer calls. "She will be facing former champion King Chappa!"

The audience roars as Eighteen and Chappa step into the ring, with a lot of the men being very vocal in their...support of the cyborg.

Turning your attention to the match, you see King Chappa smirking, clearly expecting an easy victory over the young woman he's up against.

Eighteen clearly proves him wrong, ending the fight with one strike like her husband did, and knocking King Chappa out cold.

Eighteen leaves the ring and comes to the waiting area, as the announcer expresses his shock at the mighty King Chappa being defeated so easily.

"Well...this tournament is certainly full, of surprises!" the announcer tells the crowd. "But, what else can you ask for? Excitement like this is why the world tournament is so famous! Next up, we have Kazuma vs Shin!"

Kazuma and the purple man step forward, the latter smirking confidently as he steps into the ring. Your friend seems a bit confused by his opponent, but does not seem to be letting it get to him.

At first glance, the difference in their powers seems massive. This Shin guys is pretty strong, but Kazuma is leagues more powerful. Honestly, you doubt that your friend will have any trouble winning this match, despite how much weaker he is than you remember.

"Kazuma was a competitor in the Junior Division of the previous tournament," the announcer explains. "Shin, on the other hand, is a bit of a mystery. We know nothing about who he is or where he comes from. Kazuma had better be careful."

The match begins, and Shin thrusts his hands towards Kazuma. You feel a surge of energy, and Kazuma begins sliding towards the edge of the ring.

But, raising his power slightly, he stops himself from moving any further. Shin's eyes go wide as Kazuma begins stepping towards him.

Shin's hands glow, and Kazuma's hands become locked as his sides, his feet coming together as he becomes completely immobilized. Shin gives a relieved laugh, only to cry out in shock as Kazuma slowly moves his right leg forward, walking towards his opponent once more.

Shin's eyes flash, and Kazuma's widen as he summons and swings his spirit sword, cutting through what appears to be tiny strands of energy. Shin yells, firing a wave of energy which Kazuma effortlessly knocks into the sky.

Kazuma raises his left hand slowly, holding his palm towards Shin.

"Bang."

A blast of energy explodes from his palm, striking Shin in the chest and throwing him out of the ring. As Shin crashes to the ground, a large red man with white hair and pointy ears rushes to his side.

"Winner, Kazuma!" the announcer tells the cheering crowd. "Next, we have Billy vs Kibito!"

Billy leaps excitedly into the ring, as the red-skinned man leaves Shin's side and floats towards him. The difference in power between these two is laughable. Billy should have absolutely no trouble defeating this opponent.

Something feels off about Shin, and about this tournament in general. You glance around, looking for anything suspicious, and see Spopovich still scowling at you, along with the smaller bald guy.

Shin seems to be looking at everyone a whole lot differently now, his confidence shattered by his quick defeat.

You give Kazuma a high five as he enters the waiting area, laughing and congratulating him on his victory. Not worried about Billy's match, and knowing that he will win, you head outside, focusing your mind and attempting to contact King Kai.

"What? Kaguya? Is that you?" he asks.

You tell him that it is, and ask him if he has any idea of what's going on with this tournament.

"I can feel many powerful forces at play here," King Kai informs you. "The amount of energy filling that tiny space is enormous, and frankly terrifying."

You ask him if he knows anything a bit more specific, and he tells you that he will take a closer look. In a few seconds, you hear him shrieking.

"What? Him? That's impossible!"

This one is very short, but he's keeping Yamcha on his toes, firing a barrage of energy attacks that your friend swiftly moves around to avoid.

Yamcha dives to the ground, rolling beneath a pair of energy blasts before rising to his feet and charging forward.

"WOLF FANG FIST!" Yamcha shouts, pummeling the little fighter with a series of punches and claw strikes, before throwing him from the ring with a double-palm strike to the chest.

"Winner, Yamcha!" the announcer calls. "Next up, Mira vs Yamu!"

Mira stares at you coldly. "Towa has specific plans for this tournament. You need not concern yourselves with them. Her intent is not to take your life, or the lives of your friends. Simply compete as you would, and do not attempt to find or interfere with Towa. If you move against her, I will eliminate you."

Without another word, Mira leaves you behind, and you turn your focus to the ring, where Vegeta and Tien stand across from one another.

"Tien is another former champion of this tournament, and also made it to the semifinals of the twenty-third tournament!" the announcer informs the crowd. "Vegeta is new to this tournament, and certainly has his work cut out for him in this match."

Vegeta scoffs, transforming into a Super Saiyan.

"Begin!"

"You should just surrender right now," Vegeta advises Tien. "Your strength is pathetic, I won't even need to use half my power in order to defeat you."

Tien crosses his arms, frowning. "As arrogant as ever, Vegeta. But I have to say, I'm surprised by how foolish you're being. I would have thought that you'd realize I'm hiding my power."

"Oh? Then by all means, show me what you can do," Vegeta instructs.

Tien smirks, muttering a single word under his breath, and becoming surrounded by a bright flash of light. His energy skyrockets as three beams of light shoot into the sky, drawing closer to each other before merging into one. The beam loops and descends, engulfing Tien in another flash.

Vegeta looks on in shock as Tien steps out of the light, smirking at the frightened Saiyan.

"Now, are you ready?" Tien asks.

Vegeta clenches his hands into fists, and lets out a loud yell, sparks flashing around him as his muscles grow and his power level doubles. His transformation complete, he rushes at Tien, throwing a punch that the three-eyed man manages to block.

Tien slams his fist into Vegeta's chest, and the Super Saiyan staggers back before leaping into the air and raining a barrage of energy blasts down on hos opponent.

Tien lets out a yell, rushing to deflect them all, succeeding, but leaving himself vulnerable to an energy wave from Vegeta. The blast hits him in the gut, and sends him sliding across the ring. Yelling again, Tien punches the blast into the sky, and charges towards Vegeta.

The Saiyan moves quickly, and attempts to flank Tien, but the three-eyed man's enhanced vision allows him to track Vegeta perfectly, and he cuts off Vegeta's movement by slamming his fist into his gut, then punching him in the face.

Vegeta recovers quickly, and punches Tien in the face, causing the larger man to move back a bit. Vegeta follows with an energy blast that Tien quickly raises his arms to block. Vegeta swiftly moves behind Tien, and slams his fists down on the top of his head, sending him plummeting to the floor of the ring.

Tien pushes himself to his feet, only for Vegeta to land in front of him and punch him in the gut. Vegeta spins and kicks Tien in the face, sending him sliding back. Vegeta rushes forward, throwing a punch that Tien evades by tilting his head. Vegeta throws another punch, with the exact same results.

Growling in frustration, Vegeta savagely attacks Tien, only to have his foe dodge every last attack. Finally, Tien grabs Vegeta's ankle, and throws him into the air.

"DAMN YOU!" Vegeta howls, cupping his hands and gathering energy.

Tien raises his right hand. "DODON RAY!"

A thin beam of energy shoots into the sky, and Vegeta barely manages to dodge it, losing focus on his attack. Tien takes to the sky, and engages in close-quarter fighting with Vegeta, bringing his knee into the Saiyan's jaw, and elbowing the top of his head.

Vegeta plummets to the ground below, barely stopping himself from landing outside of the ring.

Vegeta rushes up towards Tien, narrowly evading an energy wave that comes screaming down to him. With a yell, Vegeta hits Tien in the face with an energy wave, wounding and disorienting his foe.

Seizing on this opportunity, Vegeta delivers a series of powerful strikes to Tien, only to gasp in surprise as he soon receives an elbow to the face. Tien follows with a kick to the jaw, and another to the gut.

Vegeta angrily throws another punch, but Tien leans back and avoids it before kicking Vegeta in the jaw again.

Vegeta slams his foot into Tien's cheek, then spins and fires a barrage of energy blasts, all of which strike the bald man, scorching his skin and clothing.

"DODON RAY!"

A thin beam of light shoots from the cloud of smoke created by Tien's attacks, piercing Vegeta's left arm, and causing it to fall limply to his side.

"Give up, Vegeta," Tien says as the smoke clears. "This is your last chance."

"I will not...be humiliated...BY THE LIKES OF YOU!" Vegeta roars, ascending higher into the sky and holding his right hand down, palm facing Tien.

Tien prepares himself to defend as Vegeta gathers more energy.

"NOW, HERE'S A TASTE OF MY TRUE POWER!" Vegeta declares. "BIG BANG ATTACK!"

A massive, blue ball of energy explodes from Vegeta's fist, rapidly descending towards Tien. Crying out in a mixture of fear and adrenaline, Tien thrusts his hands towards the blast, catching it, and being rapidly pushed towards the ground outside of the ring.

Tien's ascent slows, and then halts, as, with a final shout, Tien kicks the blast up into the sky, where it vanishes into the atmosphere.

Vegeta stares up into the sky in absolute disbelief, actually trembling at Tien's feat.

"Alright, Vegeta, now it's my turn!" Tien shouts, rapidly moving towards the Saiyan.

Before Vegeta even has time to attempt a defense, Tien uppercuts him in the jaw, then elbows his cheek. Tien doesn't stop there, slamming his knee into Vegeta's nose, breaking it and causing blood to pour from it. Vegeta throws a punch that Tien easily avoids, and the human slams his elbow onto the top of Vegeta's head once more.

Vegeta plummets towards the ground, stopping himself once again, and looking up to see Tien forming a triangle with his hands.

"This won't kill you, but it's gonna hurt," Tien warns. "TRI BEAM, HA!"

Tien's move powerful attack roars towards Vegeta, and the Saiyan prince screams as it hits him full blast, sending him crashing to the ground and creating a crater where it hits.

The announcer rushes to the edge of the crater, looking down into it.

"I...can't see Vegeta," the announcer tells the stunned crowd.

The crowd goes dead silent as Cell Jr. steps into the ring, many looking terrified, or furious, or both.

"What the hell is this?" Someone demands

"I thought Mr. Satan said that Cell was dead!" another person shouts.

"May I see your microphone?" Cell requests of the announcer.

"Uh...sure," the man stammers nervously, handing it to Cell.

"Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to put your fears at ease," Cell says into the microphone. "The one you know as Cell was indeed slain many years ago. I am Cell Jr., his only surviving offspring, and a being far more powerful than he could have ever hoped to be."

He tosses the microphone back to the announcer, and waits for the match to begin.

Kogu's power flares immediately, and increases even further as his skin turns green. The instant the match begins, he unleashes a barrage of energy blasts upon Cell, who does not make even the slightest effort to dodge them.

Explosion after explosion rocks the ring as Kogu continues to pour his energy into striking Cell Jr., whom you still sense exactly where he was. Smoke obscured your vision, but you can tell he hasn't moved. Kogu yells, bringing his hands together and firing a mighty wave of energy at Cell, shaking the ring as it strikes him full force.

Kogu laughs, then yells as he pours every last drop of energy he has into his attack, finally hunching forward and catching his breath as the attack stops.

Smoke continues to obscure the ring, and Kogu laughs as he sees no sign of Cell. However, his laughs quickly turn into gasps of pain as thin beams of energy shoot from the smoke, piercing Kogu's arms, then his legs, and causing him to fall flat on his face.

We saw Gohan go Golden Oozaru against Broly after he hit "Maximum Power!" levels and proceeded to beat the ever living shit out of him.

I suggest Discructo-bits;small balls of energy with a ring of discructodisk energy going through them. The cut in until the ball makes contact with the opponent and then explodes opening the wound further.

The match begins.

You begin to move towards Mr. Satan, making things look flashy by throwing some sparks around as you approach. Your plan is to simply initiate a fake struggle, and ask him how he wants to handle this match without him being humiliated.

But, as you get closer, Mr. Satan seizes his head, roaring in pain and confusion as a glow briefly surrounds him. He crosses his arms in front of his chest, letting out a yell as an incredible amount of energy builds up within him.

With his new power, he rushes forward, slamming his fist into your face and sending you staggering back.

Mr. Satan throws another punch, which you parry, then a palm strike that catches you in the face. He follows with a leg sweep that knocks you of your feet, and leaps into the air, plummeting down towards you and slamming his fist into the ground as you roll to the side.

You leap back to your feet, and block a kick that Mr. Satan throws at you, countering with a kick to the jaw that causes him to stumble back a few steps.

He yells, gathering his energy again.
