Pausing to eat some more, because he's a fucking saiyan what did you expect, Nappa then continues.

"It's a useful tool, but I've seen more than my fair share of men completely lose themselves to the Beast inside. Maybe you're different I dunno, not like any other Arcosian I've met."

Well you technically aren't a genocidal rampaging maniac, so what he says is truthful all things considered.

Yet you feel the need to explore this strange city, it's completely devoid of life so far as you can tell, the exact opposite of normal Arcosia.

Cafes have warm food and drink sitting out, with no people in sight to have had it brought out.

Vehicles are parked on street side like normal, no drivers.

You can't even hear the sound of a pet anywhere nearby, it's as though the entire population just vanished in the blink of an eye.

You're fairly certain if you returned to the homeworld as it was now, it'd be like this, only in a much worse shape than it is presently.

Going along with the whole deserted feeling, lights are on through out the entire city, but still, you can't feel anything aside from a digging at the back of your mind that you need to go to the throne room.

Figuring that there's not really anything left to be discovered in the ghost town, you make the decision to head to the Throne Room.

The last time you made this trip in your dreams, you had to watch Frieza kill your mother once again, before you repaid him in kind, you've got the feeling that won't be the case this time around though.

Instead of heading in through the wall like you did last time, it's much more procedural, the lift still functions to take you to the top.

The thought crosses your mind to take a trip by the royal archives, but... if this really is a dream, it'd follow the rules that you actually can't read, and the information wouldn't be new.

Your thoghts are interrupted when the lift stops, signifying that you've reached the top floor of the royal palace.

When the doors open, and you're greeted with the sight of a figure sitting on the throne, you feel like a thousand stones have just been dropped on your stomach.

Letting go of you, the other Arctus walks back to his throne, climbing up the steps and taking a seat once again.

When you blink, and open your eyes again, you're back on the ship.

Fuck personal issues for the moment, you need a drink.

Getting up and moving over to the sink, you splash some water on yourself, you need to properly wake up afer whatever the hell you just experienced was.

Grabbing a bottle of whiskey, you take possibly what is the best shot of your life to calm your nerves.

Nappa suggested to try to take him on next, and you're perfectly happy with that, based on the current trajectory estimated by his departure, you should catch up to him in about three standard days.

After that, assuming they stick around Priest and Knight should be within stricking distance in just two more days, hopefully Pilgrim will have revealed himself by then, or you'll at least have gotten a clue of where he is.

All in all, you might just be able to finish this problem up within a week, if everything goes according to plan.
