With no real confirmation on Yna's location, you have no other choice but to coordinately split the team up in a search effort. You place Eights and Mute together and Joker with Ones. The former goes off to Cargo Platform C-22 while the latter pair is directed towards Level Nine. You have your priority locked on Landing pad E-40. Yna's pod has to be in one of these three locations.

Avoiding enemy contact on the way to the platform proves to be difficult as almost the entire exterior of the city is overrun by droids fighting heavily against the clones forces that are valiantly trying to defend their home. You let loose an Ion grenade into a group of battle droids who are trying to flank a squad of clone troopers entrenched in a firefight by the western entrance to the clone facility, effectively neutralizing them. An SBD is caught unaware by you and thus, one of your wrist-mounted vibro blades finds itself buried in the head of the droid before you leap off of it, leaving it to fall into the ocean as you jog off towards the section of landing pads for visiting ships.

With the landing pads finally in sight, you also spot the rising smoke from a crashed escape pod. Your heart leaps in joy for a second. The pod didn't crash into the ocean like you initially had feared. With no enemy forces nearby, you approach the pod with ease. Your cautious nature and tense state doesn't fade away even with no enemies in the vicinity. If you relax on a battlefield, you die.

Your vibro blades eject from your wrists. You spread your legs, taking a firm stance in front of the pod. If you slash vertically at the right angle and hit the weak spots, the four latches to the door should be cut off with ease from the rest of the pod. However, if you hit it wrong, your vibro blades could very well lose some of their durability. Your state of alarm and battle hardened spirit are exchanged by a calm and focused state washing over you for a second right before you slash at the latches with surgical precision. The metal cuts through the latches with ease, almost like a lightsaber. With the latches severed, the door is loose enough for you to pull it off. The physical training the Commando program forced you through comes to great use as you pull the door off from the rest of the pod, dropping it off to the side. A sigh of relief escapes your lips when you notice that Yna is not worse for wear; she is bleeding from her head on her non-scarred side and she's unconscious, but other than that she's unharmed. You take a step away from the pod and look back towards where the sound of blaster fire originates.

"Sierra Squad, come in. I have located Yna. Status: Light head wound and unconscious. Link up on me." You open the comm, trying to reach the rest of your squad, but there's only static on the other end. The CIS forces must be jamming all enemy communications. That has to be dealt with, otherwise the Republic forces won't be able to organize any kind of proper defense of the facilities and launch offensive actions where it's needed. Without that utility, the clone forces are crippled.

This entire area is untouched by the CIS forces and is remote from the main buildings of Tipoca City, like the cloning facility, so it's unlikely the droids will go here unless they want to flank the Republic forces via several buildings.

Your decision is based on your priorities and the state of Kamino's defenses from what you saw on the way here. Not only is Yna part of your squad, but she's also a Jedi knight; every Jedi that can be saved will help in this battle and the future war-effort. Your squad can take care of themselves and you're certain that when they don't find Yna at their designated locations, they will link up where you all split and diverge on this location. Hopefully they'll realize that their Commander took off to the Medical bay with a wounded Yna upon arriving to the crash site. They're Commandos. Your brothers. They won't fail you and you won't fail them. After all, you promised Joker.

You grab onto the unconscious Jedi knight and lunge her over your shoulder. With one hand firmly placed on her back and the other holding onto your rifle, you break into a jog, heading for the nearest building. If memory serves you right, there's a med bay through a few corridors inside this building. The doors slide open when you reach them and the scenery change from metal platforms and heavy rain to hard white corridors and wide hallways with little to no windows to the outside.

Upon reaching the door leading to the medical bay, a clone trooper exits the room and his attention falls on you immediately. His rifle is raised at you with lightning speed out of reflex, but he lowers it when you approach him. This clone's armor is different than a regular clone troopers or a Commandos outfit from the looks of it. He's wearing a kama for starters. He salutes you, but before you can try to salute him back or ask him anything, he breaks into a sprint, heading down the corridor in the opposite direction. The firefight is that way. Shaking your head, you force the thought of this new kind of clone from your mind when you enter the med bay. It's filled with medical droids and wounded clone troopers laying scattered on several beds. A droid immediately approach you where you're standing.

"Place her on this bed and we'll take it from here." It inform you, motioning with its tiny hands towards the nearest hospital bed of Kaminoan fashion. You place her there and nod at the droid before you leave. They'll take care of Yna, but you're a bit concerned that there are no active troopers stationed here to defend this med bay if CIS forces come through. They must be busy fighting off the main bulk of the enemy forces by the main facilities.

With Yna in the med bay, you try to contact your squad again with no results. All communications are still jammed. Either the Republic forces can't find the source or there are a lot of droids entrenched around it, protecting it feverishly. Either way, you have to find it and terminate it, otherwise this battle will take a turn for the worse within 30 minutes. You cannot allow the CIS to take control over Kamino. It would not only be detrimental to the war-efforts, but the overall morale of all the clones would plummet. The thought of unborn clones and young cadets and trainees slaughtered en-mass by droids make you shudder in pure anger for a second.

With your focus back in place and both your hands squeezing the deadly rifle at your disposal, you break into a jog down the corridor. The firefighting wis this way and the device jamming the signals must be thick within the fighting. You can't be the only clone looking for it. Someone else must have found it by now, but is also facing heavy resistance from the droid forces. They aren't few in numbers, that's for sure. The Separatists haven't spared on the infantry for this invasion. After all, it is the world that provides the Republic with its glorious army.

The rain crash down upon your green-white armor when you exit the building, firing a round into the nearest battle droid's head when you reach a platform branching out into several paths leading to three other platforms all around it. The droid drops to the wet metal ground like a broken doll. However, more and more droids soon join you upon the platform, but in response a squad of seven clone troopers climb onto the platform from an arching bridge nearby. Another firefight is born before your very eyes. Seven clone troopers versus about twelve battle droids.

"Commando!" They scream in joy before they gun down the remaining droids while screaming "For the Republic!" In unison. Despite the temporary loss of communications, the morale remains high as the Republic forces keep their defensive and offensive sides balanced. However, that won't last forever in this current situation. Every time you pass by a group of clones fighting droids, you don't stop, but you make sure to either throw a grenade into the droids or dropping one or three of them with your rifle before rushing off. Every time, you continue to hear the joyful cheers of your fellow brothers edging you on as they continue to push against the invading CIS forces.

After reaching high ground upon a platform overlooking the northern side of the city's exterior, you spot a site heavily defended by droids and there's even an automatic and portable turbolaser turret. It's firing off effective and focused blasts of laser against any clone that falls in its sight. There's only one way up to that platform over the raging ocean and that's where the turret and at least 25 battle droids are located. The closest clones are about 10 meters down the bridge leading up to the platform, behind heavy cover.

You will need to make a decision on how to approach this situation.

One chance. One shot. One moment to turn the tide of this battle in the name of the Republic and for your brothers. This shot will either ring out in history as the one deciding moment when Kamino was saved or as the biggest failure by a Commando. The pressure doesn't weigh you down at all. You line up the shot in the pouring rain. Your sight is clouded by the darkness of night and the heavy rain, but despite these disturbances, you know you won't fail this shot. You feel it in your bones. You'll make a shot that will put a smile on Mute's face.

With one armoured knee in the ground and your left elbow leaning on it, you support your sniper in both of your hands, your index finger slightly squeezing the trigger, but your trigger discipline stops you from outright firing off a shot. As you zoom in you clearly spot the jamming device blinking a meter behind the turret and in the middle of a lot of battle droids. You won't be able to hit it with only one shot and you can't fire more than one round before the turret targets you. A horrible situation to find oneself in, but you're certain that a solution will present itself.

In that moment, a clone tries to fire a round at the clones, but as he looks out from cover, the turret instantly fires off a laser shot, hitting the clone square in the head. Your brother drops to the wet metal floor, never to rise again. However, thanks to that brave clone's sacrifice, you spotted the opening you needed; whenever the turret is about to fire, there's a second where its muzzle is glowing red. The laser takes a second to build up a shot before firing. You'll use this to your advantage. When the next clone tries to pull his brother's corpse into cover, the turret activates once more, but now you're ready.

You squeeze the trigger. There's a moment of silence across the battlefield, as if this second takes forever to play out in front of your eyes. The shot hits the muzzle of the turret when the end of it glows red. A huge explosions wreaks havoc across the platform. Droid parts explode in all directions and burning droids rush off the platform and find themselves lost to the raging sea below. Within seconds the entire platform rips off from the bridge connecting it to a main platform below and crash into the ocean, sinking fast. The clones who were stationed nearby throw a shocked glance over to where a platform filled with enemies used to be and then their eyes rise on you. They cheer and salute you proudly.

"Chief, come in! Chief, are you there?" You hear a familiar voice over the comm. It's Joker.

You know, we can obey order 66 without killing Yna. Once again, Order 66 is a very sketchy order, to suddenly be ordered to kill a significant amount of command staff, would sound like something that a certain hostile military group would do out of desperation, after all, they DID gas a whole planet to try to win a battle, and they've committed a whole multitude of atrocities, faking a kill order wouldn't be that outlandish, so we should warn our jedi friends of this possibility and ask them to hang around while we confirm whether or not the order is authentic, you know, in the off chance we need to actually assassinate them. Of course, we can't hold them against there will because they are our superiors and that would be treason.
