Leading the two Saiyan's by Capsule Corp, you drop off the fruit with Bulma, informing her that you want it to be completely analyzed through and through.

You give specific instructions that they are to not be damaged however, as you don't know if that will end up removing some of the possible effects that it might have on your power.

Nappa reappears with cookies and lemonade in his hands, you and Vegeta aren't entirely certain when it was that he managed to sneak off to do such a thing.

"God damn it Nappa." Is the dual mutter that comes from both of you.

After Nappa manages to scarf down the rest of his snack, the three of you continue onto the Lookout, where the Earthlings plus Goku, who you really haven't met yet, are all still waiting.

It appears they're all catching up, and are very interested in Goku's increase in strength, he's stronger than Nappa after all, and going from weaker than Raditz, to that power, must be quite an increase.

"Yeah, and then with the Kaioke I can..." He trails off as they all notice that you and the saiyans have landed on the Lookout.

While learning about the dragon balls, specifically from Kami how he ended up creating them, you picked up that his home planet of Namek might just have a set of dragon balls as well.

Filing this information away for some later use, you decide to bid the Earthlings farewell for now, Gohan gives you a hug and recieves a pat on the head in return.

The rest of the Earthlings give their goodbyes as well, even Piccolo gives you a brief nod of respect.

Informing them that you'll be leaving a line of communication with Bulma, and a promise to visit soon, you're just about prepared to leave the Lookout.

"Hey Arctus, before you leave... mind having a match with me? Something inside of me is just itching to fight you..." Goku says as he steps forward.

My personal thoughts on the matter are pretty simple: Dragon Ball is a fun setting to mess around in due to its expansive scope, high power and get out of death free card offering some safety.
However, we've already done the "fight your way through Dragonball's Villains with the Z fighters" twice in the past year, so doing it again while easy for the QM (due to not needing to think up plots) is boring.

So if you're going to do a Saiyan quest, do something unique.

Alright. So this would have been a bit of an AU, starting with the fact that Freeza had a PL of 12 million (Cooler was 10/15 and Cold was 17/??) in order to stop things from gettting silly, along with the Ozaru form hitting a platue at around 200k or so.
Anyway, you would have been the heir of the second largest of the Saiyan tribes, and your father was the only rival of King Vegeta when the Saiyans united and Ganked the Tuffles. Your dad dies in the final assault (maybe foul play, maybe not), so the King "adopts" you and tries to sabatoge you so you end up weaker than his son.
At the start of the quest proper you go on a few missions and quickly learn to hide your PL so King Vegeta doesn't realize how strong you are getting. Of course this means the team assigned to kill you while off planet is too weak to kill you and you comrades, so you manage to get a warning off to your homeplanet. King Vegeta tries to go Ozaru on Freeza with most of the saiyan army and gets himself and his son killed, but not before secretly evacuating a bunch of civilians/weaklings.

At which point you end up in charge of the saiyan race and have to forge an empire strong enough to take on the PTO. You gain strength in the space boonies, allying with, absorbing, subjugating and annihilating a variety of minor powers and after defeating the Heran Empire (the act 2 boss) you've finally achieved the legend and are ready to avenge your race. At which point its you VS the PTO, and they've picked up enough new tricks that you'll have a series of tough fights ahead.

That was the plan at any rate.

Doing a side character saiyan doing their own adventures for a few threads could be really cool. I would very much be up for it if you want to do this while taking a break from SAQ. It would give you the chance to drop plothooks for Arctus as well; The Saiyan deals with the lower end things and Arctus has to come along to deal with higher end stuff only mentioned in the Saiyan quest at a later date.

Just repackage the civil war button, or make it more gradual and organic. I suggested that the Cold Brothers start taking more interest in Arctus and use him as a proxy to go expand their territory or such, or King Cold employs him to plant the seeds of war between Cooler and Frieza so one of them will end up on top. Along the way, Arctus can use that as a cover or he gets plot hooks to go to various Arcosian ruins and stuff. Though players didn't want to kickstart the civil war into high gear, it may just need some repackaging.

SOMINUS basically let the playerbase unleash Piccolo Sr. He straight up lured them into it and he knows it.

There were players trying to avert this but they were called metagaming faggots and the rest pushed in favor of (knowing full fucking well) that they were doing a stupid thing.

Piccolo Sr then proceeded after being revived to wish himself immortal and get serious power gains. He also kinda blew up the dragons and shit. Yeah the wish granting ones. And generally fuck up EVERYTHING EVER.

It was a real clusterfuck and he enjoyed every second of it.

I get the feeling that he wrote himself into a corner with Demon King Piccolo redux. He was immortal, and also grew in power to match the MC whenever confronted, even after the MC power up. Instead of Kags going on space adventures like the players wanted, he was now forced to stay on Earth to keep things from getting too fucked. Except that doing a Quest for damage control against a literally unbeatable foe for months is no fun at all.

Who people chose to save over a character who was our best friend outside of Gohan (possibly even over Gohan), and had been the MCs friend since the two were in diapers. Then the player base gave as reasons as I panicked, and when talking to the other character decided not to go with the one choice that made sense for both characters, but instead tried destroying the friendship, which SOM followed (sorta), but made it done in a joking manner.

The Piccolo Sr. thing happened because, while a few anons wanted to have us research any former kings that had been killed, or even mention it to our friends (which I was annoyed about that not even being a choice during the timeskip that happened after meeting him), but everyone else wanted to visit Satan Castle because Videl.

Part of it is on SOM, but part is on the player base too, and the fact some definitely metagamed because they knew who Piano was.
