But one thing bothers me, besides the constant feeling of being watched. Why do I feel so sad all of a sudden? I mean I have Maria, and anything else I could possibly want, my little sister is safe, and so are my older ones, Jasmine and Marla, but I still just feel a bit emptier than usual for some reason, I just can't explain it, it just feels like this day is numb for some reason, and I can't understand why. Oh no, you aren't getting away that easily, I dash over to the window and leap through it, hearing Maria scream as I try and keep an eye on the grey blur that's falling just under me, it lands a second later and

I smile, ear to ear as I crouch down to the ground and get down on all fours, and slowly craw and creep my way over to the bush, feeling the slightly wet grass under my hands and feet as blood continues to drip out of my stomach.

- Layla is far more powerful than she once was. She ate a demon for crying out loud

Oh I so wish I had bombs, they would it a lot easy to kill this fucking moron, but luckily I have something that can help me, my ability to eat magic.

I take a step back and move to fall down if I mess this up. I open my mouth and a cold wind passes by as my mouth gapes open wider than it should as a sound like a violent wind's howl fills the air as motes of grey light fly from the axe and into my mouth, before it suddenly stops and slams into the ground and inch away from me, I wipe my mouth and feel lighter, like someone decided to rip out my insides and replaced them with helium.

I lean to the side and reach to my waist, grabbing a syringe as the sickle comes dangerously close stabbing into my head as it slams into my shoulder. I wince and stab my arm forward and stab him in the chest with the syringe, pushing down as he kicks me into the stomach, causing me to cough up some blood as the force of it pushes it up into my throat.

I wipe my mouth as he falls to his knee, clutching his chest as a pained expression covers his face as he starts to look a bit stiff, I smile as his eyes fill with fear. I take a step towards him as he raises both his shaking arms into the air, lightning covering them as he slams them into his chest and goes flying back into the bushes.

I blink as he stands back up, panting as the plants around him start to die while he wipes vomit from his mouth.
