You wake from your slumber, opening your eyes for the first time. Your world is a sac of fluid, but not for long as it begins to drain from the bottom. Following the stream of birthing fluids, you emerge into the world truly. The cavern is humongous, with bare pulsating walls of flesh save for a lens that offers a vision of an bunches of birthing sacs emerging from the wall, ligaments, muscles and finally, near the end, a closed semilunar valve.

Your purpose is clear: eliminate these pests for your overlords.

Your extended arms merge with the two wall-ports, and the actuators move. Your first creation shall be:

If we take a pair of additional limbs, and make them arms, can twin claws be applied to only one of those pairs?
If so:

If not:
>Adrenal Glands

((Quest will begin 'properly' in about an hour from now. I didn't anticipate the long-ish start up time and now I must go, sincerest apologies.))

The movements of your limbs are mimicked by the actuators in the main chamber, biomass is secreted from glands far beyond the parts of the chamber that you can observe into organs, which you've not yet learned the specifics. It doesn't matter, your first 'child' is created. You find a purpose for the being that you're about to create, and draw from your mind information.

> Horned Skull
> Adrenal Glands
> Twin Claws

The three bio-templates are completed and implanted onto the skeletal frame and additional musculature are grafted slowly, sinew by sinew, ligament by ligament. Eventually, it's form is complete and it... lives. Intuition guides you, and you find yourself drawn to a clump of what appear to be sensory inputs. Your limbs, slender as they are, find it hard to enter the mass of nerves and require to be squeezed in. Only when your entire body is within the 'coffin' of flesh do you gain awareness.

You are in the cavern that crafted 'your' body, you are your 'child'. It is then, where it is apparent to you. And so, you begin your journey to your prey's domain.

Your new body emerges upwards, whereby the effects of the pressure are immediately felt. Electronic lights, no doubt the work of your prey, light up. An effortless swipe from you crushes all of them. The ravine you find yourself in is armed with turrets and various weaponry, yet they do not fire. Complacent, your prey have forgotten about the threat your overlords hold over them.

___

MEANWHILE:

BREAKING NEWS: KAIJU EMERGENCE DETECTED, NO STATEMENT FROM OFFICIALS YET

"Gooood morning Metropolis, this is your host Edward Martin, now it seems that a new Kaiju, has just emerged off the coast of our city. No need to fear, of course, officials at our local Shatterdome state that one of their Jaegers is being deployed. Now for other news, we'll get back to it shortly."

___

One of your prey's weapons stand a mile before you, next to multiple new helicopters hovering ever so slightly above the 'head' of your enemy like flies. From what you observe, it's about the same height as you, maybe taller. It's head, a helmet that gleams crimson, a visor that gleams gold. Segmented armored pauldrons cover it's shoulders, leading to a breastplate similarly colored red. What interests you, however, are it's large gauntlets, that are connected to a large mechanism around it's elbows. A large frame is mounted on it's back, with multiple vectored thrusters emerging from it. The last of it's weapons, twin missile-pod that lies over both pauldrons.

You decide to:
> attack the Jaeger, striking to kill
> attack the Jaeger, striking to disable before executing it in front of live camera.

Also, though I assume the answer is no, are we capable of empathy ?

Your purpose is to destroy, and striking at the hive of your enemy will serve you better than destroying one of their weapons. Restricting the lifeblood of your enemy, that appeals to you. Once their movement has been cut down, they will be yours. You wade further into harbor, smashing ships apart as you do so. The shipping cranes snap easily as your bulk twists them further and further until they snap. It is only after a few steps before you reach the center of the harbor. Perfect.

You enter a fury, becoming a veritable whirlwind of death as you slice and smash large cargo ships into pieces, large enough that they will break the hulls of ships entering the soon-to-be destroyed harbor, yet large enough that they cannot be removed easily. Once the waters have been planted with wrecks, you head on to the cargo terminal, crushing any and all equipment that stands in your way. Your rampage continues till most of the harbor is in flames or broken by your claws.

Heading inland, you follow the veins of tracks into the train terminal, tearing them up as you go with the pillars that are your feet. The overland cargo terminal is ruined beyond salvation soon, and the metro is next. Only then does the Jaeger appear on the horizon next to the ravaged harbor, along with a few tanks, but they are only pests to you.

How do you wish to engage him?

The most unfortunate prey does not know he is one until the last moment. You busy yourself tearing at the rubble, pretending to destroy your surroundings while you make your way to a fairly intact transportation carriage. Your prey begins to run towards your rear, enhancing his still increasing stride with his boosters on his back. You turn around slowly, transport in both claws, before activating your adrenal glands to put in that extra burst of speed.

The train flies clear of your arms, striking your opponent squarely in the chest, where you guess his mitochondrial cores are located, or at least his central neural capacitors are. The tear and crumpling of metal is satisfying, as explosions ripple across his chest. Your guess was correct, you estimate that his movement capacity has been crippled, if not destroyed outright.

The Hunter heaves smoke from multiple gashes in his chassis including his movement enhancer, steadying himself before staring at you. A voice from the back of your mind tells you he is preparing an attack, however not a close one. You:

Your prey anticipates firing his weapons, savoring the moment where you are blown up by him. However, that is now a reality. You charge forward, pushing your adrenal glands to their maximum output. Within seconds you have crossed the gap between you and your prey. Your claws dig deep into his chassis, the sound of shearing metal filling the air as your hands enter the body of your prey.

He knees you in the side, however it is too little, too late. Your arms have already found his mitochondrial core and you have crushed it. It falls, like a puppet who's strings have been cut. You withdraw your claws, and with that, your prey falls.

The metal warrior now lies on it's back, splayed out by you. Stabbing each claw into the corresponding arm of your prey, you lift it up into the air by it's arms, making sure to draw it for as long as possible before pulling it's torso towards your spiked head. Your primary horn stabs through it's torso entirely, whereby a dark liquid begins to trickle down like blood from a wound.

Extending your arms into a Y-position above your head, you begin to pull the arms apart from the pathetic excuse for a Hunter. It's ligaments tear and soon it's arms are detached from it's body. You place them aside, focusing on the torso and head of your prey. Ripping it's head off, you grab it in one hand before beginning the process of devouring it's torso, piece by piece.

Finally, you crack the head, seeing the two smaller prey that exist within the head of your big prey. Bringing the head closer, you finally chomp down on it and swallow. Finally, you devour what you can of it's arms and legs before placing each on the four highest points of your arena, your domain. The city.

With that, you:

> Retreat back to the ocean, there are some upgrades you want to add. Besides, reinforcements are on their way.
