time to take on King Piccolo like

Whelp, so much for studying.

You dash down the path, feeling a sort of pressure building around you with every step.

You've been descending deeper into darkness for the past several minutes, yet it feels as if you haven't gotten any closer to the Divine Water. Still, something tells you that you're going the right way, and you aren't about to turn back.

Your head begins to ache a bit, and you're pretty sure you hear someone laughing nearby. By this point, you know it's not just your mind playing tricks on you, and as you rush forward, you're fairly certain you're about to face your next opponent.

A blast of energy comes flying from the shadows, and you bring up your arms to block it, quickly being pushed further up the path by the incredible power it has. Still, the further up you go, the lighter the push becomes, and, soon you're able to deflect it.

When the next comes, you duck and roll beneath it, descending down the path once more.

A thin beam of light comes your way, and you duck once more, then leap to avoid another. The laughter returns, and you instantly recognize it.

Cell steps into the light, donning his typical cocky grin as he lowers his hand, continuing to chuckle to himself.

"Ah, Kaguya, it's been a while," he greets. "You're looking far more lively than I last remember you."

You decide that charging or trying to get past Cell will probably go poorly.

So, you drop into a defensive stance and wait for an attack from this latest illusionary foe. Cell smirks, stretching a bit as he watches you.

"What? I don't even warrant a hello?" he asks, chuckling to himself before dropping into a fighting stance. "I'm hurt. But, you're about to be hurting much more."

Cell leaps forward, opening with a palm strike that causes you to stagger backwards as it rips through your defenses. A kick follows, causing you to spin, and another kick sends you falling to the ground.

Springing up at once, you evade an energy blast that explodes on the ground you had fallen upon. Spinning to face Cell as you rise, you quickly dodge a series of beams shot from his pointer fingers.

Landing up the path, you are treated to another series of attacks by Cell. This time, however, you are able to fend him off, albeit barely.

Finding an opening, you land a solid kick to Cell's gut, and follow with a palm strike to the face that sends him back. Backflipping further down the path, Cell lands on his feet, fixing you with an amused stare.

"Good, Kaguya," he praises. "Good to see that you've remained such an entertaining foe. Too bad I don't have much time to play with you."

He puts his right foot back, cupping his hands at his side. "Are you ready?!"

Cell looks a bit surprised for a moment by your course of action. "Really? You think you can overpower me? Seriously?"

He snickers, giving a shrug. "Ka...me...."

Locking onto Cell's energy signature just before he can attack, you teleport behind him and thrust your hands forward, unleashing a powerful beam of energy upon him and striking him full-force in the back.

"HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" you yell as Cell, screaming in surprise, is pushed further up the path, back the way you came from.

Taking a few more seconds to push him further away, you then turn around and rush further down the path, stopping as the cavern begins to tremble around you.

"STOP...." a low, rumbling voice demands. "YOU APPROACH THE ULTRA DIVINE WATER....."

Well, this is what you came here for.

Approaching the table, you find the cup is empty, and so fill it with water from the pot. You give it a quick sniff, and don't find anything strange about it.

You throw back your head and gulp down the water before immediately falling to your knees and gasping in pain.

No, pain isn't a strong enough word. Agony seems to fall a little short too. You've undergone terrible physical torment before, but this makes every bit of that feel like a relaxing dip in a hottub.

When you battled Cell to protect Cyborg Seventeen, your entire body was burnt by a powerful Kamehameha. Now, it feels as if your insides are burning away, as if your intestines are disintegrating, and your vital organs being ripped open.

You scream louder than you have in your entire life, writhing on the ground as your life flashes before your eyes. You see your earliest memories from childhood, when it was just you and your parents living on your farm. You see your early days playing with the local children, the day Raditz arrived, your training under Kami, the clash with the Saiyans, the battle on Namek, Frieza's attack on Earth, the Androids, the Cyborgs, Cell, Broly, Cooler, Garlic Junior, and King Piccolo's minions.

After what feels like an eternity, the pain begins to gradually subside, until you are able to push yourself to your feet.

You feel different. You can tell that your power has increased significantly, but it goes beyond that. Your senses feel sharper, your mind feels more focused, your fears and doubts seem farther away.

You feel like a new warrior altogether, and you're ready for a fight.

With your mission here accomplished, you begin the journey to help the others.

You rush back up the path the way you came, coming to the collapsed tunnel in a matter of minutes. Effortlessly blasting away the rocks in your path, you quickly return to the surface, following the winding path back to the spot where you came in.

Looking into the sky above, you shout for Korin, who comes to check on you seconds later.

"Kaguya?" he asks. "Did you find the water?"

You assure him that you did, and the old cat helps you out of the maze, bringing you into the lower level of his tower. You make a quick request for some Senzu Beans, then bid him farewell once he gives them to you.

Tucking the pouch away, you leap from Korin's tower, flying faster than you ever have towards the energy of your friends and King Piccolo. You soar above the clouds, rapidly making your way to the sight of the battle.

You arrive just in time to see your friends being blown back by a powerful blast from the Demon King. Yamcha lets out a yell, attacking with his Wolf Fang Fist, only to be kicked away.

As Yamcha struggles to recover, Piccolo fires a thin beam of energy, aiming for his heart.

Raising your right hand, you casually flick the energy back at its sender, and a shocked King Piccolo barely moves in time to keep himself from being shot in the head by his own attack.

"Yo! Guessing I made it just in time for the party," you say to the other warriors.

Krillin, Chiaotzu, Videl, and Haya let out sighs of relief, while Tien and Piccolo smile at you. Behind you, Yamcha recovers, then laughs.

"Kaguya! Perfect timing, man!" he tells you. "We sure could use your help right about now."

King Piccolo crosses his arms as he hovers towards you, studying you with an amused expression.

"So, another insect has crawled from the woodwork to pester me," he says, eyes giving you the once-over. "I must say, I'm disappointed at how poorly educated children on this world seem to be these days."

Nah, no reason for us to give DKP any mercy. We know for a fact that the dude is pure evil and has no chance of redemption.

Let's assume for a moment that we didn't know of what he did back in DB's time. From the moment he was revived, he:

- Wished for immortality
- Blew up Shenron
- Used the Black Star Balls to get a free power boost (which also put a ticking time bomb on Earth's life span)
- Killed Nappa
- Killed untold thousands (including King Furry) in East City
- Went on TV and promised to blow up West City to celebrate his return (and for missing King Piccolo day back in DB time because Goku killed him)

Any chance of getting mercy from us he lost the moment he used the Black Star Balls.

"You should leave now," you tell King Piccolo.

His response is laughter. "Oh, yes, I agree. After all, I have a city to destroy! But your friends have taken it upon themselves to stand against me, so I can't leave until they're all dead."

Well, you tried.

"Guys, stay back, I'll deal with King Piccolo," you tell your friends.

"What?" Tien asks.

"He must be mad!" Piccolo shouts.

"Kaguya, have you gone nuts?" Krillin asks. "No matter how strong you've gotten, King Piccolo is immortal!"

"That's right, child, I'm unstoppable now," the demon king brags. "You don't have a prayer."

You smirk and rush forward, landing a kick to the side of King Piccolo's head before he has a chance to react.

He goes flying away, and you dash right past him, stopping and waiting for him to fly right to you. Once he does, you kick again, sending him higher into the air. You quickly ascend above him, then join your hands together and smash them into his skull once he reaches you, sending him screaming to the ground below.

Dust is sent everywhere as he impacts, and the ground beneath you shakes. Your friends stare down in shock, and you calmly descend, landing just outside of the crater made from the crash.

King Piccolo claws his way out of the dirt, rising from the crater with a look of pure fury on his ugly face. You feel his power begin to grow, and brace yourself for him to use his true power against you.

"Alright, child, you've just brought unimaginable pain upon yourself!" he snaps, lightning dancing along his skin as he continues to gather his energy. "I look forward to watching you writhe in agony!"

The ground shakes once more and Piccolo holds both hands out, palms facing you. They begin to glow with energy, and you can tell the blast is going to be powerful.

You rush up into the sky at the fastest speed you can manage, slamming your elbow into Piccolo's gut before he has the chance to fire off his attack.

He gags as he hunches forward, face contorting hideously in pain as spit is launched from his mouth. You slowly move your elbow out of his chest, and back up a few feet as he continues to retch and gasp from your attack.

"Sorry, but you really shouldn't leave yourself so open like that," you comment, laughing to yourself a little.

King Piccolo growls, yelling as he attacks with a swift clawstrike at your heart. You barely manage to dodge the attack, and counter by slamming your elbow into the top of his skull, sending him plummeting towards the Earth once again.

This time, he stops himself at the last moment, turning over and opening his mouth wide. A colossal wave of energy erupts from his gullet, rocketing towards you at an impressive speed.

You dodge the attack, rapidly descending and making a straight charge for King Piccolo. He roars, firing a pair of energy waves that you also manage to dodge. He lets out one final energy attack that you evade before reaching him, slamming the ball of your foot down into his gut, and shooting him back into the ground.

You hover above the crater your attack has created, waiting for him to emerge yet again.

I'm getting a bit worried here; the exact wording of his wish to get the massive power boost from the Black Star Balls was,

This can be interpreted one of two ways:

1. It's a flat power boost, and does not account for someone growing stronger than him.

2. It's a power boost AND a recurring check; the more he struggles against someone stronger than him, the stronger he gets (ala Super Human gains).

If it's #1 we're ok for the most part, just need to stall and delay him until the others get back with the Black Star Balls and we use those to remove his immortality.

But if it's #2 and we realize it's #2 fast enough, we need to make it so that we are just barely beating him or fighting to a stalemate every time, even if we are stronger than him at that moment. Because if #2 is right and he realizes it, the moment he gets stronger than us he'll instagib us, then no one on the planet will be able to deal with him, and the people in space will return to a smouldering crater that is Earth.

You parry his next strike and bring your foot up, kicking him in the jaw with all the power you can manage.

King Piccolo's head jerks back, and you take advantage of his disorientation, slamming your foot into his gut, then using your other foot to his him in the side of the head with a roundhouse kick.

Piccolo is sent flying away, but recovers more quickly than you had anticipated. As you give chase, he reorients himself and fires an energy wave your way. Letting out a yell, you smack it up into the sky before countering with one of your own.

Piccolo yells, struggling to block it, only to be pushed back. You lock onto his energy signature and teleport behind him, slamming your elbow into his spine. You spin, kicking him in the back of the head with enough force to shatter his skull.

King Piccolo is thrown forward, yelling in pain and anger. You give chase, avoiding another energy wave and throwing a punch that he barely manages to kick. You quickly slam your knee into his stomach, forcing him to release your hand, and allowing you to give him a powerful punch to the face.

You follow with a chop to the neck, a kick to the nose, and a Dodon Ray to the shoulder. The tiny hole you make glows, and you realize that it had as little effect as your attacks did in the Pendulum Room.

You slam your fist into his throat, kick with all the power you can at his gut, and bring your elbow into his cheek, sending spit, blood, and teeth flying from his mouth.

Your friends stare in awe, and King Piccolo quickly backs away a bit, veins throbbing with rage. You feel yourself beginning to get a bit tired. You're not done yet, but you can't keep this up forever.

You press the Attack on King Piccolo, battering the demon with a furious onslaught of punches, kicks, chops, elbows, and knees. And, while you unleash your power upon your opponent, you send out a telepathic communication to Piccolo.

"Use the Evil Containment Wave!" you tell him.

Piccolo rapidly descends to the ground as you continue to attack the Demon King, blocking a claw strike that manages to draw blood from your arm. Your foe growls, throwing a kick that you duck beneath, being rewarded for his efforts by a kick to the jaw.

"Kaguya, get out of the way!" Piccolo shouts up to you.

You look down, seeing that Piccolo has set down and opened a vial in front of himself.

You heed his advice, quickly moving out of the way, putting a fair amount of space between yourself and King Piccolo, who looks down at his "son" curiously.

"And what do you intend to do, weakling?" the demon king demands. "You should know better than anyone how hopeless it is to try and fight me!"

"You're right, I know what fighting you means," your friend tells him. "I know everything about you. And that includes your weaknesses!"

"What?!" King Piccolo demands, his eyes going wide as he gets a good look at the jar.

Terror appears on his face, and the supposedly mighty warrior trebles like a frightened child as he stares down at your smirking friend.

"NO!" King Piccolo screams. "NOT THAT!"

"THAT'S RIGHT!" Piccolo shouts up to him, extending his palms into the sky. "EVIL CONTAINMENT WAVE!"

Piccolo's hands glow, and a spiraling green light shoots from his palms, rapidly approaching the frightened looking demon king, and soon enshrouding him.

You unseal the bottle, releasing your friend Piccolo from his prison within.

The Demon King roars in anger, and you quickly hold your hands in front of your face. Sending a telepathic warning to the others for them to retreat and avert their eyes, you shout two words.

There is a blinding flash of light, and King Piccolo screams in pain as the attack renders him unable to see. You send a telepathic message to Yamcha, telling him to get Bulma and her family out of West City.

As Yamcha vanishes into thin air, you and the others retreat, heading for the Lookout. Upon arrival, you find the others very much relieved to see you all relatively unharmed. There were certainly far less deaths than they probably expected.

Your mother rushes to you and hugs you tightly in front of everyone.

"I'm so glad you're alright!" she tells you, gasping a bit when she sees your face. "What happened?"
