You are Randal Tallstag, a young lord of House Tallstag, one of the great five noble houses of the kingdom of Whitestar. There has been much trouble in Whitestar the past few years and your house has fallen greatly because of it. Barbarians from the far North have invaded your kingdom and stolen much of its land, nearly wiping out your entire noble house save for you and a few others in your family, namely your father and your uncle and his family.

Your house along with the other great houses, have been called to the capital of Whitestar, the city of Snowhaven. This great city is where the king resides with his family, the Frostclaws. After attending your coming of age ceremony, you have chosen to join the King's Rangers, and leave to join them today.

You wake up with a yawn at first light. Today is the day you leave for the headquarters of the King’s Rangers. You can’t help but feel a little excited and nervous about leaving. You get dressed and head downstairs to eat. When you arrive in the dining room you see your father already sitting at the table, its prepared with a wondrous amount of food. Your father looks up at you and smiles.

“Good morning my son,” He gleams. “I had ordered extra work and care for this breakfast to be made for you. It’ll probably be your last good meal for a while, so eat up! And you’ll be leaving soon after so don’t waste time.”

“Thank you father,” you say as you sit down to eat, the food is wonderful. Your father is right, this will probably be the last good meal you’ll have for some time. You savor every bite and eat your fill.

“Good, now that you’re done eating I’d like a word,” says your father. “There is something I want to tell you.”

"What is it father?” You ask, ”is something wrong?”

“No nothing is wrong, I just wanted to say that I’m proud of you son,” he says putting his hand on your shoulder. “I always have been, you’re finally becoming a man now, I just wish your mother and brother were here to see this. I know I don’t talk about them much, but its hard for me to.” Your father pauses.

Both your mother’s death and your brother’s hit your father particularly hard, he was never quite the same after their death. However, you knew it was good for him right now to talk about them, however brief it might be.

“And that is why, Randal, that I want to give you your brother’s sword,” your father says, pulling a sword case from under the table. “Your brother used this sword when he was in the King’s Rangers.”

Your father opens the case revealing a finely made sword, you grab it and hold it up, feeling it in your hands. The sword is perfectly balanced, the pommel and hilt are made of fine dwarven silver. The handle is covered in high quality black leather, presumably from a bear. The sheath matches the sword as well.

“The steel of the sword is iceforged, so it is sturdier than most other weapons you’ll come across,” adds your father with a smile. “Your brother called the sword ‘Dragon’s Maw’ because he told me its struck with the ferocity of the silver dragons he read about in his adventure books. I hope it serves you well, Randal.”

“I don’t know what to say, but thank you father,” you reply as you stand up and hug him.

After a few moments of silence and hugging your father releases you saying, “Now then there is not much time you need to meet Trista and those transporting you at the northern gate of the city. Now go and be safe my son! And say hello to your uncle for me, he should be there at the headquarters when you arrive!”
>>
>>39631884
You gather your gear and head out towards the northern gate, after 20 minutes walking you arrive there and look around. You spot Trista in the distance waving you over.

“Randal over here!” she calls out with a smile. “There are some rangers from the headquarters to lead us along the way.”

You head over and find Trista along with three rangers. One is a yoing man not much older than you with blonde hair and sporting a goatee. The other is an older man, probably in his late twenties, with long blonde braided hair. Lastly there is an elven woman, who is young by elven standards with a mask over her face.

“Ah, you must be Randal,” greets the man with the braided hair, my name is Lieutenant Kroster Starwood, of the great House of Starwood. I’m a member of the King’s Rangers, and am here to take you to headquarters. My two companions here are rangers as well, their names are Robert Evenwood,” he says pointing to the man with the facial hair, “and Sariel Amakiir,” he points to he elven woman.

“Good to meet you,” Robert says shaking your hand.

“A pleasure to meet you,” Sariel says with a slight bow.

”I’m honored to meet you all,” you say with a bow. “I hope to have a good trip with you all.”

“Good, I hope we can as well,” replies the Lieutenant. “But we had better get moving, it takes two days of traveling to get to headquarters, so the sooner we leave the better.”

You and the rest of the group follow Lieutenant Starwood out through the massive gates of the city and to the stables positioned outside where Lieutenant Starwood and the other rangers mount their horses. At the stables you and Trista are each brought a horse as well.

“These are for you, they are gifts from the King’s Rangers,” the Lieutenant speaks. “They are good horses, and quite fast to boot, they should serve you well. Now then let’s get going.”

You mount your horse and join the group, you’ll be heading north, first through the lowriverlands, into the highlands and finally arrive at headquarters. It’s a sunny day and the air is chilly but not overly so. There is a slight breeze blowing in your face. It’s a long ride so you figure you should talk to someone.

“Excuse me, Lieutenant Starwood, but can I ask you a few questions?” You ask riding up next to him.

He responds with a chipper attitude, “Hmm? Of course! What would you like to know?”

“Well, I was actually wondering what we’ll be doing up north at headquarters. I’ve got a vague idea but I’d like to know more.”

“Ah, I see,” the Lieutenant thinks for a moment. “Well as a whole, the King’s Rangers work with the regular rangers of the military, like Sariel and Robert, to help travelers in need, scout and watch over the borders of the kingdom, and provide intel on enemies. We can also act as an entire divison of troops should war occur, like we did ten years ago when the barbarians invaded.”

“I see, that makes a lot of sense,” you add.

“Indeed, but when you get there, you and Trista will spend the first month training with the other recruits from the military rangers. You’ll be learning how to survive in the wilderness, how to ride, fight, and operate as a ranger. Is that all you wanted to know Randal?”

“For now, that’ll do. Thank you sir.” You respond.

“Anytime.”

With that you fall back a little in the group to where Robert and Sariel are. You figure they might have some info and tips about being a ranger.

“Hello Randal!” Greets Robert “How are you enjoying the ride?”

“Quite well, thank you. I have a few questions though, of both of you could answer them for me?”

“But of course!” Robert says with glee.

“We’d be happy to help,” says Sariel calmly.

“Good to hear,” you respond happily. “I was wondering what new recruits like Trista and I are usually tasked with after training?”

“Hmmmm,” Robert ponders, “It might be different because your a King’s Ranger but I assume you’d do simple patrols around some of the nearby villages, make sure no one gets hurt out there in the wilderness and such. You might also get tasked with hunting as well. You won’t be doing anything dangerous though, but I could be wrong. Since you’rein the King’s Rangers. Do you know Sariel?” questions Robert, turning to her.

“Yes, as a member of the King’s Rangers you will be tasked with going on a ranger’s trek thought the northern border mountains after your first two months in the King’s Rangers, but that’ll be in the middle of winter for you, so it will be even more difficult.”

“I see, thank you, do either of you have any tips?”

“Yes,” They respond in unison. “Tip one, you are never truly safe in the wilderness. Tip two, fire is your best friend and worst enemy. Tip three, never go into unfamiliar wilderness alone. Lastly tip four, two rangers are always better than one, and three better than two.”

Wow, it sounds like those tips have been drilled into them, you imagine that comes from the training.

“Ah well thank you both very much.”

“No problem at all, and don’t forget those tips, they are a lifesaver. They’ll drill them into you your first month there," replies Robert.

The humans did rebel against the elves but that was 3,000 years ago. But now days there is still some prejudice against elves but not as bad as when the kingdom was founded 1,000 years ago.

As for your other question, you're right, only nobles from the five great houses can join the Kings Rangers but they work with the rangers from the military of the kingdom. Which is what Robert and Sariel are apart of.

You decide to help out with lunch and go hunting in the nearby woods after telling everyone where you’re going. You draw your long bow ready as you walk into the tree line. You walk silently and carefully, keeping an eye out for movement and your ears attuned to any sound the forest makes.

After a few minutes of walking, you hear a some twigs and leaves being cracked and walked over. It came fromm in front of you, to the right. You move quietly to investigate and discover a doe rummaging through the fallen autumn leaves for grass to eat. She hasn’t noticed you yet so you figure this is your best shot at killing it.

You draw your longbow back and fire.

Your arrow flies true and hits the doe right behind her shoulder, though not quite through the heart. The doe now startled and wounded runs off a ways. Either way she won’t be able to run far with two collapsed lungs.

You follow after then doe, after is disappears into the brush you follow the tracks and trail of blood she left behind. After following the trail for a few minutes, you find the doe in a clearing. It has already died from lack of oxygen and blood loss. You decide to gut the deer there and leave it for the other animals, slinging the body over your shoulders. You head back to the temporary lunch site. Upon walking out of the treeline, Trista and the Lieutenant see you with the deer and greet you.

“Wow Randal!” Trista proclaims, “I didn’t think you’d bag a deer on the hunt, I’d assume you would have gotten a few rabbits or maybe a some quail.”

“Well done Randal,” says the Lieutenant with a smile. “This will go nicely with the fish that Robert caught. All we have to do is skin it and clean it and we can eat it for the next two days.”

Robert and Sariel both head over as well and congratulate you on a good hunt.

After skinning and cleaning the deer you begin to cook the venison over the fire with the fish caught by Robert. You all have a good time eating and chatting. After about 45 minutes you cover the fire, saddle up and head back on the road.

You ride up next to Trista and begin speaking to her.

“Hey Trista I was meaning to ask you, which of the books that we bought did you want to read first?”

“Hmmm, I think I’ll go with ‘Rules and Regulations of the King’s Rangers’ is that’s alright with you.”

“Certainly, here you go,” you say as you dig through your pack and hand her the book.

“Also what do you think of the trip so far Trista?” you ask.

“I’m actually really enjoying it, its so much more fun than when I rode down to the capital in that awful carriage.”

That sounds about right to you, Trista’s never been one to be couped up in a carriage or a castle. She’s always wanted to go out and do things, to explore the world around her. This trip was right up her alley.

“That’s good to hear Trista, I’m glad you’re enjoying it,” you reply with a smile. It always makes you glad to see Trista enjoying herself.
>>
>>39635315
After talking a little further with Trista, you excuse yourself and fall back a little to talk to Robert and Sariel.

“Excuse me, but I was wanting to ask you guys. What are your stories? What made you decide to join the rangers?”

“Ah, a good question!” replies Robert, he seems eager to tell his story. “I’ll go first, I hail from Southwind Keep and grew up in the shadows of the great elven forests that cross over the southern border of our kingdom. I would play there as a child and eventually learned to hunt, fish, and fight with my brother there. When I came of age, I joined the military, but my love of the wilderness followed me there as well and I eventually transfered to the ranger corps. I’ve been apart of it for two years now. Best decision of my life. My younger brother also joined up to, you’ll meet him when we arrive at headquarters.”

That was pretty nice, it sounds like Robert is a natural born ranger. He seems like a good friend to have.

“What about you Sariel?” you ask, turning your attention to her.

“Me? Well, I did it for the man that I love and who saved my life.” She says with a soft voice. “When I was a young adolescent girl in the western elven town of Silverrun, I went out one day to pick berries for my mother. While doing so I was attacked by a bear. I thought I was surely dead, but a ranger had come to my aid, a young elf man. He ran the bear off, swept me off of my feet and took me home safely. I fell in love with that man that day, and vowed I would be his, and he mine. I eventually joined the military rangers a year ago in hopes of finding him, but all I know is his name and that he is somewhere in the western portion of the kingdom. I hope to find him one day and marry him.”
>>
>>39635326
Interesting, she joined for the one she loves, that actually sounds a bit like Trista, when she said she joined the rangers to be with you because she loved you.

“Thank you both for telling me that, I’m glad you could share your stories with me.”

“You are most welcome, Randal.” Robert replies.

“Why don’t you tell us about why you joined Randal?” Sariel asks.

>”Ah there’s not too much to tell, I mainly joined because its a family traditon.”

A bit of A, a bit of B.
Familiy tradition matters, our brother having died as one, etc.
Serving the kingdom was the main reason, it was the best way we could do it indeed.
Then lastly there's the fact it gives us a chance to see the world.

”Ah there’s not too much to tell,” You say with a shrug, “I mainly joined because its a family tradition. I also figured it would be the best way I could serve my kingdom.”

“I see,” says Robert, rubbing his facial hair “It may not be much to say, but those words you spoke carry honor with them, it is good keep family traditions like that alive.”

“And even better to join because of a felt obligation to serve one’s country,” adds Sariel.

“Well thank you,” you say. “I figured it would also be a good way to go out and see the world as well.”

“Ah, so you have a sense of adventure too!” booms Randal. “Then you won’t be disappointed, there is plenty of that to be had as a ranger.”

You all laugh, and continue chatting on your way north. Flying over you in the sky is a falcon, it screeches out and turns around flying to a rock outcropping a ways behind your group just off the road. It lands on the arm of a hooded man, another man with a beard and carrying a great sword walks up to him.

“What news is there?” demands the bearded man.

The hooded man feeds his falcon a dead mouse as a reward then speaks. “They are still headed north, just as that noble said they would be. They’ll be stopping to sleep soon.”

“Good, we’ll strike tonight while they do. We’ll kill the ranger too, even though that noble wants just the young lord and lady dead. Those ranger’s gear should fetch a nice price.”

“Very true, I’ll go tell the others the plan.”

The bearded man smiles with greed and bloodlust as he looks north.

You decide to help Sariel go fetch some additional firewood. You catch up with her before walking into a lightly wooded area.

“Hey Sariel, mind if I help fetch some firewood?” You ask, walking behind her.
Sariel speaks without turning to face you. “Not at all, it’ll make it easier to carry back. Thank you Randal.”

You and Sariel walk through the lightly wooded area, picking up fallen branches and twigs as you do. The sun is starting to set and you can feel the chill of the night beginning to set in. After a few minutes Sariel speaks up.

“Randal?” she asks. “Do you mind if I ask you about Trista?”

You respond somewhat surprised by the question. “Uh, sure, what would you like to know?”
She responds immediately. “She has deep feelings of love towards you. Doesn’t she?”

“What? Where did that come from? How can you tell?” How the hell did she know that? You think to yourself. Did Trista tell her?

“I can tell by the way she looks at you Randal, how she behaves around you. But you have trouble reciprocating those feelings, you’re torn between her and another aren’t you?”

“I...well yes, but how do you know this?” you ask surprised.

“Randal,” she says plainly. “I’m an elf, I’ve lived a lot longer than you, I’ve been around humans enough to know when their in love, or feeling other emotions. After a while you become easy to read.”
>>
>>39637462
She starts heading back to the camp with a bundle of firewood, you follow her int tow with a bundle yourself.

“So why do you bring this up?” you say, trying to catch up to her.

“Because, I want to warn you, you should reciprocate those feelings. Before its too late and your opportunity passes. Love Trista, Randal, regardless of your feelings for the other girl She will understand.”

The campsite comes back into view, Robert has a fire going with food being cooked over it, the tents are set up as well.

“Alright but why suggest that? What if it turns to not work out? What if I lose the love of both girls?”

“It is better to have loved and lost, than to never loved at all Randal.” Sariel says as both of you arrive at the campsite.

You both set down the firewood and go to eat. The food is good and it fills you up. The Lieutenant then gives everyone shifts for the night watch, you have the last shift. Before everyone heads to bed they perform some activities. Trista begins reading her book, Sariel meditates, Robert stokes the fire and whittles a figure from a piece of wood, and the Lieutenant looks over some papers and his map.

You decide to take Sariel’s advice and go ver to talk to Trista about your relationship.

“Oh, hello Randal,” smiles Trista as she looks up from reading her book. “Is there something you need?”

“Actually...,” you say with some hesitance, “Actually, I was wondering if you’d like to walk with me around the outskirts of the meadow and talk with me a bit before we go to bed?”

Trista’s eyes shine in the moonlight as she hears you say that, her smile gets bigger and she sets down her book. “Of course Randal. I’d love too.”

Both of you walk out of the campsite and begin walking around the meadow side by side. The moon is out and there are only a few clouds out to cover the stars shining brightly.

“So what is it you wanted to talk about Randal?”

“Well, I’ve been thinking and I wanted to talk about us more, if that’s alright with you.”

You take a deep breath and finally admit your pent up feelings to Trista. ”I want to take our relationship further Trista, I want to really love you, if you’ll let me. I’ve come to the conclusion that life is too short to waste it in hesitation, I want you.”

Trista’s face goes red, and she remains silent for a moment before finally speaking up. “R-really, you mean it Randal?”

“Yes, I do Trista, I choose to be with you, and I offer you my body.”

Trista’s face gets even redder and she nearly feints front the shock, but she recollects herself and embraces you with a large hug. “Oh Randal! You have no idea how much this means to me, I’ve prayed to Sindas for this day to come, and she has finally answered me. I love you so very much Randal!” Trista squees with excitement nearly alerting the others in the camp before she catches herself.

“Come I’ll take you back to the tent, it’s almost bedtme for the others and us, but we won’t be doing much sleeping,” Trista whispers to you as the both of you walk towards the camp.

Just from Trista saying that, you get excited, in more ways than one. Your heart begins beating fast as Trista leads you into yours and hers two man tent. The others have gone to sleep and Robert is on watch, but he’s too focused on whittling his wooden figure to really notice you two.
Inside the tent, Trista seals up the opening and you both sit down. Trista leans forward to kiss you and you both lock lips. There is passion behind both of you and Trista’s desire take her over. She pushes you on your back as she undoes her clothing.

“Randal,” she says softly, with her voice full of lust “I want you to be gentle to me, its my first time. Is it yours?”

You nod your head. You’re to focused on her every action and word to say anything.

“Good, then we can become one...together.”
>>
>>39639821
Trista takes off her cloak first, then her leather over shirt and finally her cotton under shirt, revealing her breasts and and stomach. She has toned but curvy body, like that of a goddess. You never really noticed how large her breasts were, but each one is a handful and perky, but not overly so.

“Now you take off your shirt,” she says as she bites her lip.

You oblige and take off your cloak, leather over shirt and cotton undershirt. As the bottom of your undershirt reaches over your eyes, Trista kisses you again on the lips. She slowly makes her way down to your stomach, kissing your muscles and rubbing your shoulders. She slowly moves her index finger up from you belly button to your face, finally taking off the shirt from over your eyes. She lays on top of you and the both of you continue to kiss each other as you grab and massage her breasts and she grips you tightly, moaning quietly every so often. After making out for a few minutes like that, you roll her over, this time you’re on top.
>>
>>39639840
“I’m ready for you now,” she whispers as she takes off her boots and slides her pants down. You’re not exactly sure what you see a small amount of red hair, that’s been groomed and taken well care of. You also see what looks like a set of pink lips, a woman’s vagina, you’ve never seen one before, it looks like its very wet for some reason. The sight of it makes you rage inside with lust. “Go on and put your cock in there, I can’t wait any longer, I need it.”

You don’t want to keep her waiting, so you undo your pants and take off your boots. You’re already hard and Trista looks at your cock with some amazement, but mostly with a hungry look. She has never seen one before either, you wager, but she wants yours.

Slowly you penetrate her, as you do, she lets out a loud moan, and quickly covers her mouth with her hands. You hope Robert didn’t hear that. You’re flooded with emotion, amazing senses that you’ve never felt before, like an amazing pleasure. Better than any amount of pleasure that drinking or eating provides overwhelms your body, you continue to move slowly in and out. You eventually build up speed and Trista goes crazy, she opens her mouth but no sounds come out. You can tell she is somewhat in pain. You stop.
>>
>>39639860
“What are you doing you idiot?” she whispers. “Why’d you stop, keep going, please!” She looks at you with begging eyes, you grant her request and keep going.

After a minute or so, a feeling overwhelms you, but even more so than what you are current’y feeling. An intense amount of pleasure course through your body as something inside you contracts and you feel your cock pulsing. Trista’s body begins to spasm too and her body ceems to bring your dick further inside her as it tightens around it. Your cock continues to pulse as you empty your seed into her. You collapse on her and you both breathe heavily.

“Wow! That was amazing,” you say as you roll over to Trista’s side and look into her eyes, smiling.

“You were amazing Randal,” she says smiling back at you as she kisses you once more. “I’d like to try something else now on you, if you don’t mind.”

>”Oh? What’s that?”
>”Sure, I’ll let you do anything to me, Trista.”
>”Sure, just give me a moment, I need to catch my breath.

”Oh? What’s that?” You ask, taking a few deep breaths. Trista really wore you out but it was worth it. Did she want more though? You’re not sure you could keep up this time.

“Well Randal, I was wondering if you would mind terribly if I” she trails off, whatever she wants to say, it must be embarrassing for her to say.

“What is it? You can tell me Trista.”

“Well, would you mind if I used my mouth to please you?” She asks with her face going red again.

“Uhhhhhhhh...” you trail off. You’re at a loss for words, it never crossed your mind that a woman could please a man with her mouth.

“I know it sounds strange but I had heard some of my friends once about how they said that most men like it.” She says looking away.

In a somewhat unsure voice you say, “Well it couldn’t hurt to try. Lets do it.”

“Splendid!” Trista says with a giggle.

Trista gets back on top of you, this time she moves down to your still hard cock, and she begins licking it. You think to yourself how good it feels for her to do that. She licks up and down your cock, every now and then she licks in a circular motion around the head. Just when you think it can’t get any better she puts it inside her mouth.

“What the - oh wow, that feels great Trista,” you say as pleasure overwhelms your body once more. Trista begins moving your cock in and out of her mouth, her rose color lips shining off the candlelight as she does so. She moves it in and out giggling as she does, stopping every so often to lick up and down your dick, then in a circular motion around the tip. She repeats this several times. Slightly faster each time, until you can’t bear it any more. You grab her head and hold her down on your cock as you release you seed once more. Trista moans with pleasure as you do. She lifts her mouth off your cock, with some of your seed spilling out onto you and onto her chin. She closes her eyes and swallows the rest as she wipes her face clean.

“There,” she says proudly. “How did that feel?”

At first you can’t respond because your out of breath, causing Trista to giggle. After catching your breath you say, “That was amazing Trista, I never knew you could do that, let alone that could feel so good.”

“I’m glad you liked it Randal, and don’t worry I plan for us to do this on regular basis.”

“What, really?” You ask stupidly.

Trista laughs and says, “Of course you idiot, that’s what a boy and girl who love each other very much do.”

Oh yeah, you think to yourself. You realize how close you and Trista really are now. You’ve both made love to each other and now you are both one. Sindas has blessed you with an amazing woman. As you think on this, you begin to feel tired and let out a yawn.

“Oh, your’re tired. We should head to sleep really. I have the watch right before you do, so I’ll wake you up.” Trista says as she gets into her bedroll next to yours.

You take her advice and head to sleep as well, you close your eyes and feel Trista put her arm over you as she slips into your bedroll with you. You fall asleep with a smile on your face.

The next thing you know, you wake up to Trista urgently waking you up.

“Randal, hurry wake up!” Trista says in a rush as she shakes you awake.

“What is it?” you say bolting up to attention.

“The camp is under attack, its bandits!” She yells “The others are already out side, but they are out numbered, they need us.” Trista, already half dressed puts on a shirt and rushes out with her sword in hand.

You can hear yelling and the clashing of steel outside. Your rush to get ready and run out of the tent with your sword and dagger, you didn’t have time to get your longbow. Once outside you see Lieutenant Starwood fighting with a man with a greatsword. Sariel is dodging jabs from a man with a spear. You also see Robert fighting a man with an axe, but Robert looks like he’s been hit a few times.

Fortunately, the bandit’s footsteps were loud enough for you to react in time and dodge out of the way. The bandit curses under his breath as he misses you.

You draw your brother’s sword quickly and ready yourself. The bandit stares you down, not yet ready to make a move. You can tell by looking at him he doesn’t want to miss again.

You can hear the your friends fighting, but if you want to help them, you’ll have to deal with this bastard first.

You feel something well inside of you, some inner strength you’ve never felt before until now. Perhaps its seeing Trista under attack by that hooded bandit, or maybe because its the first time in your life you’ve actually felt threatened and fearful of dying, or maybe its something else entirely.

Whatever the case is you feel your sword become weightless, and time slows down. You attack, you bring down your brother’s sword over your head and down toward the bandit.

The bandit hardly has any time to react but he brings his sword up to block. However your shatters his as it is brought down. Not only that but it goes through his helmet as well and you lob off part of the bandit’s skull. A few sparks and lots of blood fly.

The bandit’s body collapses and falls over lifelessly, with a shocked look stuck on the remainder of his face.

Time goes back to normal for you and you look at your sword and hands in disbelief of what you just did. You snap back to reality as you hear the yelling and clashing of steel coming from your friends battling.

The bandit is going at him with all he’s got, but he doesn’t seem to notice you yet.

You let out a grunt of pain and grab your wound briefly, the wound isn’t too deep, but its bleeding a lot and hurts a like a bitch.

“Don’t underestimate me just because you got in lucky hit.” Says the bandit with a gruff. He readies himself and prepares to come at you with his axe.

I'll start with setting and combat first

I love the setting it's great as for the combat it's good I like the system you're using quite a bit if I was going to run a quest i'd use this one or something very similar.

the romance feels a little rushed but considering the characters grew up with one another it's kinda natural as for the princess that kinda just came out of nowhere and surprised everyone.

The Lewds is decent it can definitely improve I'd recommend practicing a bit and or reading a couple of smut quests on Anon-kun they do a pretty damn good job.(even if it can get a little weird)

You don't have to read anything but I think seeing some examples would help to compare what you have and what they have and which flows better and yet is precise, descriptive and gets to the point. that is the case with me I don't know if it's the same for you

Ah One quest I would recommend purely for it's writing would be The Traveler.
>>
>>39643432
alright thanks for the tips, I'll work on it.

Also what do you think of the characters?

and are there any questions you have?
>>
>>39643048
>normal attack
>>
>>39643616
oh! welcome to the thread, but i think you're a bit late, that is unless more people show up
>>
>>39643504
It might be because i've participated in so many different quests that have morally grey characters but at first they seemed a bit bland. However Dorn Tallstag obviously has some facets to him as well as the King and Princess. Then you introduced all these different factions and they started to light up a little and show their colors however some of them do (Like Trista and her Brother) feel like they don't have much to them other than Duty or Love rather than some other motivation that might work such as self improvement, or never wanting to fail again (except the ravendude and bandits I can tell they're cunts and in it for themselves). And I can't exactly give you a fair assessment of these new characters because the MC hasn't spent much time with them.
>>
>>39643247
>>39643432
Agree mostly. The Lewds aren't too bad, it actually suits the quest. Going too smutty just doesn't fit, but then again I haven't read much smut quests so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

>>39643504
Love the characters. Like the previous Guy said the princess thing came out of nowhere so it was hard to make good decisions if you don't know enough and unfamiliar with the setting.

Just one question, would it be socially acceptable to have both Trista and the princess? Is that something that's done or is it unheard of?
>>
>>39643652
I am not him but I just got here if you have it in ya to keep running.
>>
>>39643685
I agree the smut does fit this quest too lewd would not fit this at all considering it's like a side benefit but some anons are picky.
>>
>>39643663
noted, I'm actually planning on some character development for Trista, as well as introducing more factions as the quest goes on.

>>39643685

You take the bandit’s advice, this time, you’ll wait for him to attack. You both stare each other down as you bring up your guard and ready yourself.

The bandit comes at you with a swing, you dodge it then block his follow up swing. He swings again and you move effortlessly out of the way, despite your injury, causing his swing to go wide.
Now that he left himself open you slash at his ankle, severing his tendon. The bandit falls to one knee in a shout of agonizing pain. However he pushes himself back up and readies his axe again. His breathing is heavy and you can tell he is at his limit. One more attack should finish him off.

You decide to move in for the kill, your enemy is weak, now is the time to strike. You stike at the bandit with your sword, he blocks the first to hits, but slows down each time, reaching exhaustion, you attack him a third time.

This time you stab at the bandit with all your strength. The bandit, too tired or unable to block and weak to move out of the way, is stabbed straight through the heart with your sword. The bandit gurgles up some blood from his mouth before falling over dead after you remove your sword from his body.

You quickly move over to Robert and help him get back up on his feet.

“Thank you Randal,” he says with a wheeze. “Now go help one of the girls, I’m going to help Lieutenant Starwood.” Robert picks up his sword and rushes to the lieutenant’s aid, who seems to be at a stalemate right now with the bandit wielding the greatsword.

You decide to go and help Trista. You figure Sariel can handle herself, she is an elf after all, so she should be nimble and quick enough to avoid a spear’s quick jabs.

You rush over to where you last spotted Trista, and you see her fighting still with the hooded man. She just parried an attack from him and punched him in the face with her free hand.

“Argh! You cunt!” The hooded man shouts. “You’ll pay for that!” The bandit quickly brings his leg up and kicks Trista in the stomach, causing her to stagger back in pain. The bandit notices you and brings his guard up, and positions himself to fight both you and Trista.

Before you attack, you look to Trista, and she to you, you give her a wink and you both rush the hooded bandit at the same time. The bandit, being outnumbered can only pick one target to block effectively, he chooses to block Trista’s attack.

With the hooded bandit doing so, he leaves himself open to your attack. You swing your sword in a horizontal arc at him, cutting a deep gash into his side, right near his kidney’s are. The bandit cries out in pain but powers through it and takes a few steps back from both of you.

The bandit is bleeding profusely from his wound, he can’t take another hit like that.

You decide to hit the bandit with everything you’ve got. You move in on the hooded bandit with Trista again. This time however the bandit decides to try an block your attack. You move in and swing your sword overhead at the bandit, he sees your attack and blocks it.

However, in doing so he leaves himself open to Trista, who charges at him and runs him through with her sword. The hooded bandit instantly drops his sword in shock and slowly reaches for the sword sticking in his gut. You decide to put him out of his misery and quicken his death. You swing your sword as hard as you can and cleave the bandit’s head from his neck.

You both then hear screaming as you turn just in time to see Sariel break the spearman bandit’s arm by pulling his forearm back in the opposite direction its supposed to go. The bandit falls to his knees hand holds up his broken arm in agony. He his quickly silenced as Sariel grabs him from behind and slits his throat with a dagger.

The only bandit left now is the one with the greatsword. You look over to him and see him pick up Lieutenant Starwood and throw him several feet. You see Robert on the ground picking himself up. You, Trista, and Sariel rush over to help your friends out.

“You killed all of my men!” He screams at you. “I’ll make you all pay. I’m going to tear your spines from your bodies!” He grabs his greatsword with two hands and prepares to charge all three of you.

The bandit leader charges at you and your friends. You automatically go on the defensive as he does. However Sariel charges a him head on. As the bandit chief rushes her he swings his greatsword in a horizontal arc in the middle of his charge. Sariel summersaults over the arc of the blade landing on the other side. You knew she was nimble but damn, she’s really good. She land behind him, and you notice a dagger sticking out of his shoulder, the damage it caused seamed to slow down his speed.

You take that opportunity to quickly stab him in the side as he charges you and Trista. The stab causes him to wince in pain and knick you back but miss Trista with his greatsword completely in the process. However Trista is thrown off balance and falls on her back, with the bandit leader towering over her.

“ARRRGH!” He cries out. “You will be the first to die!” The bandit leader raises up his greatsword slowly over his head to bring down on Trista.

At the sight of Trista being in perilous danger, an anger wells up inside of you. Your vision goes red and you charge at the bandit leader. You make contact, the bastards heavy, but you just manage to knock him to the ground, fueled by your anger. The greatsword is knocked out of the bandit’s hands as he falls on his back.

“YOU LEAVE HER ALONE, YOU MOTHERFUCKER!” you shout with a mighty rage. “YOURFIGHT IS WITH ME!”

The bandit leader is still dazed from you knocking him on his back, you take the opportunity to lay into him with your fists, punching him over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. All the while yelling at the top of your lungs.

Then in a final act of rage you pull out the dagger that was planted in his shoulder by Sariel, and raise it up, bringing it down into the center of his chest with a loud crack and a quick spurt of blood. The bandit leader’s body goes limp and you breathe heavily as you pull yourself off of him.

“Wow Randal, that was an impressive display of strength,” Sariel call out as she brings Lieutenant Starwood to his feet.

“I know, you were very impressive,”says Robert as he takes a deep breath and tends to his wounds.

OP is kill?
>>
>>39645369
You ignore what they say as you’re too worried about Trista, you crawl over next to her to see if she’s okay.

“Trista, are you alright? You’re not hurt are you?” you ask in a nervous rush.

“Yes, I’m fine Randal,” Trista says pulling herself up with your aid. “But I’m better now that you’re here by my side again.” Trista smiles back at you and that’s when you realize that everyone witnessed you kill that man in a fit of rage.

“I’m sorry you guys had to see that, I’m not sure what cam over me,” you quickly apologize aloud.

“Not to worry Randal, it happens from time to time. Don’t be sorry. It was between us and them, and I’ll choose us every time,” announces Lieutenant Starwood.

With that you all bury the dead and and return to your night watches. Before you fall asleep, unknown to you, a falcon that was watching the entire fight from a tree in the distance flies off. It flies towards the capital and to Lord Hornraven’s tower study. It delivers a message to him about the fates of the bandits he had hired to kill you and Trista. A sour look forms on his face and he burns the parchment he was writing on over a candle. His plans had been ruined, but then he smiles, he knew this was a possibility and begins the steps toward his backup plan. He takes out another piece of parchment and begins writing.

“Ouch!” You react slightly by pulling your wounded leg away from Trista. You are both back inside your tent, you’ve taken your clothes off for Trista to treat your wounds. “Easy, that alcohol stings.”

“Oh don’t move around so much,” Trista snaps back, “If you move more it just makes it more difficult and more painful. Besides, if you behave...” Trista pauses and kisses you, “I’ll show you another way I can please you.”

You instantly get hard again as she says that. “Alright you’ve got a deal,” you say as you move your leg back into reach of Trista. She finishes up tending to your wounds and undresses. She has a few minor cuts and bruises on her now, but it hardly distracts from her beauty.

“This time,” she says with a soft voice as she lays you down on your bedroll, “I’m going to please you with my hands, and my mouth.”

You prepare yourself as she grabs your cock and slowly but surely brings her right hand up and down it. She looks into your eyes with her own icy blue ones. She winks and and begins to move faster. It may not feel as good with her mouth or pussy, but it definitely feels great.

You lean your head back and let out a soft moan, right after you do, she puts her mouth over the head of your cock. That grabs your attention and you bring your head back up to see here moving her lips up and down, up and down, up and down. The she stops and begins to stroke your cock with her left hand this time. You think you yourself how soft and gentle her hands are.

Your body gets hotter and hotter as you approach your climax, Trista can see your face visibly change as you get nearer to releasing your seed once more.

“Trista...I can’t hold it...in any longer!” You say in between moans of pleasure.

“Its alright, now release your juices for me again!” She begs.

You climax, and a wave of ecstasy washes over you you let out a deep grunt as you seed sprays over Trista’s face.

“Yessss,” she says as if she had just won an award. She begins to lick your seed off of her fingers and her face. She wipes the rest off with a rag and then pulls herself to eye level you on the bedroll. “Now then wasn’t that...pleasurable?”

“Yes,” you nod in agreement. “But after that and the fighting, I’m exhausted.” You let out a yawn and Trista pulls herself closer to you.

“Well then go to sleep, you need your rest.” She says softly. “Goodnight and sleep well, Randal.”

“Goodnight and sleep well, Trista,” you say as you blow out the candle.
