Your mother smiles at him before taking a seat, digging into her food with far more gusto than you've come to expect from her. Then again, she is eating for two, now.

The meal is delicious, as always. Despite how much you enjoy the food, however, you sneak some scraps to your dragon, who struggles to remain silent as he gratefully consumes what you offer him.

You soon finish eating, and excuse yourself from the table, going upstairs and getting a shower to wash all of the paint off of you. When that is done, you get into bed, pulling up the covers, closing your eyes, and drifting off into sleep.

It does not take long to reach the Lookout, and upon your arrival, Dende rushes out to greet you, with Popo and Piccolo at his side.

"Hello, Kaguya!" Dende greets happily.

"What brings you here?" Popo asks.

"Let me guess, you're here for training," Piccolo says.

"Training? For what?" Dende asks.

Piccolo chuckles. "It doesn't really matter. I haven't seen Kaguya do much more than train or fight. So, are you here to train?"

"I agree," Piccolo comments. "But Kaguya's right, his sixth sense is usually correct. We should keep our eyes open. I can't imagine anything worse than Cell showing up, but then again, I never would have imagined anything as bad as Cell until he actually appeared."

Dende and Popo both look nervous, though Piccolo keeps a level-headed expression.

"Look, Kaguya, in the time I've been around, there's almost always been threats to the Earth out there," Piccolo tells you. "The only thing to do is keep vigilant, and make sure you're prepared to deal with any threats as they come. And I think we both know you're more than capable of doing that."

"That sounds wonderful," Popo tells you.

"Festivities aren't really my thing," Piccolo says. "But, I'll be there."

"Hey, Piccolo, do you mind giving me another gi?" you ask your friend.

"It has paint on it," you explain.

"Well, Videl sort of blind-sided me into oncoming paintballs and a ceiling," you tell him.

Giving you a look of utter disbelief, Piccolo nods, shooting a thin beam of light at you, and changing your clothes into the gi you want.

"I'll make a few more for you in the near future," Piccolo informs you. "I get the sense that you'll need them."

Before long, Videl finally arrives, landing on the Lookout and approaching your little group.

"Wow, it feels like you've gotten a lot stronger!" Dende comments.

"I take it you've been training with Kaguya," Piccolo comments.

Videl nods. "Yep. I never knew I could become this strong!"

The two of you reach the room in question, and you tell Videl exactly who you'll be fighting. Your friend seems nervous at first, but ultimately agrees due to it being a simple simulation. So, the two of you close your eyes, and open them to find yourselves in the Cell Games arena.

"Ah, Kaguya, I take it you saw my little broadcast," Cell comments upon seeing you. "But I'm afraid you're a bit early. The games aren't for several more days. Trust me, you should take advantage of the time I'm allowing you. If you want even the slightest chance of victory, you should stop wasting time here and get to it."

Cell look at you, frowning. "You asked for more time, promising me a worthy fight. I gave you that time, and yet, here you are, rushing to fight me blindly after a single day. You're more foolish than I thought, or perhaps you saw the futility of things and simply hoped for a quick death?"

Cell closes his eyes. "Run home, Kaguya, this is your only chance."

"Arrogant child!" Cell growls, "You had your chance."

You let out a yell, releasing your full strength and gathering your energy. At your side, Videl does the same, and the two of you reach your full levels of power as Cell looks on in surprise.

"Well, it seems your confidence wasn't without merit," he comments. "Consider my curiosity piqued. Let's see what you two are made of."

Cell rushes at the two of you, vanishing and appearing behind you an instant later, throwing a kick that you barely manage to duck beneath.

You spin and leap, backflipping through the air and landing a good distance between yourself and your foe.

Videl stares in bewilderment, leaving her vulnerable to the energy attack Cell throws her way. The blast hits her full force, and sends her flying from the ring.

Cell chuckles before turning his attention back to you, laughing as he rushes you head on, throwing a punch which you block with your left arm, countering with a punch that he blocks with his own left.

The two of you struggle against one another, and the ground beneath you begins to collapse. Yelling, the two of you leap back, taking a moment to observe each other before making your next moves.

"Well, this is far beyond what I had hoped for," Cell tells you. "Had you taken the full time I offered you, perhaps you could have even managed to defeat me. However, as you are, you still have no chance. Especially if you were counting on that girl to even the odds."

You rush over to Videl, checking to make sure that she's okay. You quickly see that she has suffered only minor injuries, and is fine.

However, with your focus on Videl, Cell takes the opportunity to attack you, kicking you in the back of the head and sending you crashing to the ground and sliding forward on your face.

Pushing yourself up and turning, you quickly leap to avoid a barrage of energy blasts, only to have Cell's knee slam into your gut and his elbow slam into your head, sending you crashing to the ground.

You rush at Cell as fast as you can, gathering energy into your right hand and focusing it into a beam similar to the Destructo Disk.

"Want to see a magic trick?" you ask.

Focusing on Cell's energy signature, you teleport behind him, swinging your blade and cutting through open air. Cell appears behind you, kicking you in the back and sending you crashing to the ground.

"I've seen that trick before, you fool," he tells you. "It's also not a good practice to announce when you're about to do something. Honestly, with all of this power, I was expecting a challenge, but I should have remembered I was just fighting a fool."

He shrugs. "It's a pity, but perhaps Goku can provide me with some amusement when the time comes."

Cell raises his left hand, extending his palm towards you and beginning to gather energy.

You rush up towards Cell as fast as you possible can, swerving to evade the energy attack that he fires down at you.

Videl has the sense to avoid the attack, and you quickly close the distance between yourself and Cell, throwing a powerful punch that he quickly parries, and following it with a kick that he leans back to evade.

Backflipping to gain some distance, you fire an energy wave that Cell knocks aside with a yell. You take advantage of his temporary distraction and charge forward, bringing your fist into his gut, then firing an energy blast into his chin.

You throw another punch into Cell's gut, then another, and another before Cell slams his knee into your jaw, forcing you back.

The two of you enter and exchange of punches and kicks, each of you trying to strike the other while also avoiding being hit. It's a fairly even contest, but Cell has a size advantage on you, and soon forces you to move back and reassess your strategy.

You decide to return to your defensive tactics, preparing for Cell to make the next move.

"Really? This again?" Cell asks, chuckling. "Very well, let's see how good your defense really is."

His power level flares, and Cell splits into four, surrounding you and attacking.

You're outmatched.

You put up the best defense that you can, but Cell and his copies manage to pummel you pretty badly, inflicting a great deal of pain with every blow they deliver, punching you, kicking you, even throwing in an occasional energy blast that burns your flesh.

"You'd better think of something quickly!" one of the Cells warns.

A yell gets his attention, and Videl's foot slams into the side of his head, sending him crashing into another Cell, and the two to merge into one.

The number of Cells has decreased to three.

One of them attacks Videl, who struggles to hold her own against her powerful opponent, while the others focus on you. You fare better now, but not much, only able to block a fraction of the attacks thrown your way, and getting pummeled pretty badly.

Despite how badly you're getting pummeled, you remain on the defensive. The point of this training isn't to win, it's to get stronger. To push your limits.

And, you're certainly doing that.

The limit of how much pain you can tolerate is pushed, as is the number of blows to the head you can take without blacking out, or kicks between the legs you can take without becoming sterile.

Basically, you get thrashed.

Soon, you lie battered, bloodied, and broken on the floor of the ring, two Cells coming to stand over you, raising their hands and unleashing hellfire in the form of energy attacks.

Opening your eyes, you find yourself back in the Pendulum Room, and are soon joined by Videl. She doesn't tell you what happened, but you can tell she lost. Still, the two of you have grown a bit stronger. The question is, do you keep beating a dead horse by fighting Cell, or do something else?

The two of you use the Pendulum Room once again, going to face Cell in his most powerful incarnation. Of course, this was a foe that Gohan and Nappa, with their incredible new levels of power, along with Kazuma, were unable to defeat. So, unsurprisingly, the two of you are slaughtered. You don't even really put up a fight, and are destroyed after throwing only a few punches.

Honestly, it seems as though the only way you can safely reach Gohan's level at this point is by fighting him.

Deciding that you and Videl have done pretty much all that you can as far as training, you decide to head to West City and see if there's anything fun to do.

The two of you exit the Pendulum Room, bidding farewell to Dende, Popo, and Piccolo as you take to the sky and fly towards West City.

As you fly, you take off your bandana, putting it on your face.

"What are you doing?" Videl asks.

You explain that you're trying to keep yourself from being recognized by hiding your face with the bandanna.

"Won't anybody who has seen you still recognize your hair, eyes, and clothing?" Videl asks.

Ignoring the question, you instead tell Videl about the party that's coming up to commemorate Cell's defeat. You ask if she wants to come, to which she tells you that she'll be there.

Making it to the city, you look down and notice a car moving rather quickly and erratically, slamming into other cars and sending terrified pedestrians screaming and diving for cover as it moves onto the sidewalk.

Several police cars are in pursuit, and a man fires on the cops from the back of the fleeing car. One of the police cars spins out of control, flipping over and causing another police car to slam into it.

The remaining cars swerve to avoid their fallen comrades as they keep chase.

The two of you quickly descend upon the fleeing robbers, who are to preoccupied with the cops chasing them to notice your approach.

You land on the front of their car, crushing the hood and causing the vehicle to flip over above your head, and the robbers to go flying from their seats.

As you reach up to catch the car, Videl moves and catches the crooks, knocking each one out as they attempt to attack her or rudely demand to know what she thinks she's doing. You set the car down, and Videl sets the crooks down as the cop cars come screeching to a halt in front of you.

The two of you take off as the police begin getting out of their cars, flying off into the distance before they can identify the two of you. Once you're safely out of sight, you change course and head for the Capsule Corporation, with Videl close behind.

The two of you land to find Bulma and Mrs. Briefs sitting outside, the blonde woman pouring tea for herself and her daughter, who bounces her infant son on her lap. The two look up as you and Videl land, each offering a smile.

"Hello, sweetheart!" Mrs. Briefs greets. "Oh, you look more beautiful every time I see you, Kaguya. And who is this other adorable little girl?"

Bulma sighs. "Mom, Kaguya is a boy."

"Don't be silly, dear," Mrs. Briefs says. "Kaguya is a girl's name."

Videl smirks beside you, and Bulma stands, holding Trunks as she walks over to the two of you.

"So, what brings you guys here?" she asks pleasantly while a curious Trunks stares wide-eyed at you both.

"Uhh, sure," Bulma tells you. "But why?"

You explain that you want to honor the memory of your old mentor, Kami. Bulma smiles at that, and assures you that she will do her best.

And so, you and Videl wait as Bulma toils over your disguises. Meanwhile, you keep an eye on Trunks, ad the little boy proves to be a handful beyond simple crying. He makes several efforts to escape his grandmother and follow his mom inside. Each attempt is quickly thwarted, but you all decide to be safe and make sure you keep a close watch.

Finally, after about an hour, Bulma emerges, carrying two watches. Trunks finally stops fussing, and looks curiously at both his mother and the devices she is carrying.

"Watches?" Videl asks.

Bulma smiles, tossing one to you, and one to Videl.

"Put them on and follow me," she instructs, picking up Trunks.

The two of you do as you're told, putting on the watches and following Bulma to a room containing a full length mirror.

"Now, press these buttons," she instructs, motioning to a button on your watches.

Doing as you're told, both you and Videl are stunned to discover that you're wearing your disguises.

Yours is, as you requested, white with blue highlights, and even has a matching blue cape. You also notice that you're wearing a helmet complete with a visor, effectively covering both your hair and your eyes. The helmet is a bit odd looking, and even has antennae, but overall, its a cool costume.

Videl's is light blue, though she sports an orange cape. Her helmet looks very much like yours, except for the fact that her helmet has a golden heart on it.

"So, what do you two think?" Bulma asks.
