A small women, with dark black hair is strutting towards you, a unnerving fire in her eyes, as she pulls a large green tube off her back, slotting something into it, then levelling it at you.

Bulma quickly leaps out of the way, clearly afraid of standing between you and this clearly deranged woman.

She comes to a stop about a half a yard away, dropping to one knee, the green tube aimed directly at your face. "YOU!" She hisses, voice filled with contempt, "YOU GIVE ME BACK MY GOHAN!" She howls, flipping a switch on the tube, metallic objects, presumably all weapons bristling over her body.

The kid in your arms eyes her nervously, covering his eyes with his hands, his tail swaying nervously below him. The men, the ones you're supposed to be training all back away as well, terrified of the woman, Krillin hiding not so subtly putting as many people between him and this woman.

You take a look at the child, then turn, staring into this woman's firey gaze, feeling the breifist flicker of intimidation, before quashing it.

"So, I rescued your kid. You're welcome. You actually want him back, or are you gonna open fire on us?"

Holy shit, we gotta get a closer look. This is the mother of the first Saiyan half-breed.

Move closer. Circle her and get a good look. Scan her with the scouter. Is she a normal earthling, or something else? We gotta find out, this could be the rebirth of our race.
>>
You clutch the child closer, smiling at the woman smugly, "No.... unless..... What's the magic word then?" You ask, snickering under your breath.

The woman doesn't hesitate, she pulls something underneath the tube, for a brief second, you see something rushing at your face.

The next you're knocked back a step, a small explosion filling your eyesight. It didn't hurt, but you can feel it singe your eyebrows and hair, out of surprise, you instinctively reach up to swat the smoke away from your face, dropping the child in the process.

He seems unharmed, picking himself up off the ground, as you take another step back, coughing, as everyone now steps even further away from the woman and yourself.

Hang on... why is everything on your left side less green than us- Oh Kais damnit. You look down, staring at the shattered remains of your scouter, blown to bits, and shattered under your foot as you'd backed off.

Risel hisses in discomfort, stepping forward and offering her own scouter, as the woman in purple slots another explosive into her tube, "GOHAN! GET AWAY FROM THEM! NOW!" The child sits between you and his mother, staring back and forth between the two of you, tears welling in his eyes again.

You step back forward, advancing on her, swatting aside another shot this time, as you reach her. "Listen here woman, there are people a LOT stronger than you, who are coming to kill everyone on this planet, and I plan on training these Earthlings to be able to live through that. Got it? That includes your son. And even if those two die, there's a galactic tyrant who'd kill you, him, and wipe the planet from existence just for having Saiyan blood. Understood?"

The woman, in her defence, doesn't back down, even as you approach, baring your canines in her face. "That's not his problem! Understood? He's four! And he's a sweet, GENTLE! BOY! He doesn't like to fight!" She shoves her face in yours now, "UNDERSTOOD?"

Behind you, you hear Teito whisper to Risel, still holding her scouter outstretched, worried. "Hey Kabu? You should probably know this." Teito calls out. "This ladies stronger than any of the others. She's topping out just over 300. The rest are mid 200s at best."

You glance back out of curiosity, only to hear footsteps running away from you, heading towards-

She snaps her child up off the floor, sprinting towards the vehicle she and Bulma arrived in. "Chichi!" Bulma calls out, "Don't you dare leave without me!"

In a flash, you're between Chichi and the airship, the woman bouncing off your cracked armour, falling backwards, that same fire still in her eyes, as she clutches her child close.

"He's my boy!" She hisses defiantly.

Yes yes he is, But he's Saiyan blooded, he has death sentence on his head just for being born, unless you want him to die when the PTO comes here, which they are currently doing, he needs to train. The boy when he was angry was more than three times stronger than you and you are currently the strongest human here. So here's the deal both of you are staying up here to train. This is not optional. If you do try to leave I will have to blow up Bulma's ship......again.

>>
"Yes, he is. But he's also part Saiyan, and that means he has a death sentence on his head. Because guess what? That galactic tyrant? They're spreading this way. Slowly but surely. And they will crush this planet like a bug." You lean over the woman, as she slowly backs away across the ground, clutching Gohan to her.

"G-Gohan isn't a fighter!" She insists, "He's not going to grow up like his father! He is going to study!"

Yamcha runs forward, getting behind the woman, as she backs into his legs. He leans down and rests a hand on Chichis' shoulder. "Chichi, c'mon! Even Kami's backing her up. And even if he wasn't, this woman's strong enough she can take Gohan if she wants."

You nod, as tears crawl their way down the woman's cheeks, clutching Gohan into her lap and curling into a ball. Only one small sentence escapes, as silent sobs start to rack her body. "No.... please... he's all I have left." Her voice cracks halfway through.

Bulma and Krillin rush in now as well, blocking her and the child from your view. Yamcha looks back up at you. "Miss Kabuya... she just lost her husband.... Can't you just.... I don't know...."

From amid the pile of humans in front of you, you hear a low, dangerous growl. "How... dare. you!"

Bulma and Krillin are thrown aside, even Gohan is dropped, as Chichi leaps at you, a deep red aura blazing around her as she unleashes a series of blows that would probably really hurt if you were a human, a striking chop to your neck, punches to stomach, a kick across the broad side of your face, twisting your neck to the left slightly, before she leaps back, holding her arms over her head, a long line of ki forming between her hands, before she hurls it at you, a spinning blade of energy crashing into you.

You cough in annoyance, as the smoke fades away, flicking some dust off your chest armour. Chichi stands in front of you, panting heavily, but still maintaining an aggressive stance.

You yawn at her, with a smirk. "Hmm? Oh, was that meant to be your attack? I hadn't noticed."

She rushes again, screaming bloody murder, as her hands land on you again and again, the other Earthlings watching, as she beats her hands bloody on your jaw, she kicks you so many times that she's left barely able to stand, her ankles a mess, she even bashes her forehead into you a few times, before keeling over, the red aura slowly fading, as her pupils slowly dilate to normal, away from the hate filled dots they had become.

You lean over her and pat her on the shoulder. "Congratulations. You just had your first training session, courtesy of Kabuya. You're now training with us. Understood?"

She's tired beyond words, as you massage a spot on your jaw, feeling a very small, tiny bruise forming there.

"So congratulations. You get to watch over your son. But you're staying here. With me, as the star pupil. Understood?" Her eyes narrow for a second, before they roll backwards, up into her head.

"M-mommy?" Gohan cries, rushing forward and shaking her, Bulma quickly gathering him up. "It- uh,- it's okay sweetie, she's just sleeping, after her game with Kabuya. She'll wake up soon."

Yamcha and Tien lift the woman, carting her off towards Kami's castle, demanding that she needs rest in a bed. Risel wanders up behind you, the others all just staring in fear. "Don't you.... couldn't you just ask her to stay? Now she's angry."

"Let her be angry." You tell her, "If she hates me, she'll try harder to be stronger than me and take her kid back." Risel frowns, but steps away, telling Teito to train with her.

Bulma approaches, Gohan in her arms. "I did warn you." She says, shaking her head. "Chichi gets nuts." She snaps the fingers of her free hand and sets the child down. "Say, what was that thing she blew up? The face things the other two are wearing?"

"Chichi going nuts still did nothing to me, and I wasn't even trying. You should learn that her being scary, and her being able to actually protect anyone, are two different things. It's a wonder that anyone on this world got any stronger if they let people like her bully them into staying weak.
"And this thing is a Scouter. It's a Power Level sensor, communications device, and computer in one. We're down to just three of them now."
>>
>>38986098

Guess we can omit the part about Raditz's scouter then. Maybe gripe briefly about how inconvenient it will be to not be able to read or pick up other people's power levels without one.
>>
>>38986164
And then Krillin teaches us the best secret ever, how to read power without tech
>>
>>38986196
We shouldn't show any eagerness in learning it.
Be casual about it, like being offered to be taught how to build a fire without a match or lighter, when we already have easy access to convenience stores with matches and lighters.
"I guess it could be useful. In a very small number of rare cases. Might as well get something out of all this for myself."
>>
"It WAS my scouter. Handy little piece of tech invented by the Tuffles, useful for military forces. Let's you detect power levels, the newer ones even have communication features on them." You shrug, "You want to know more, ask one of the girl's to borrow theirs. Although it will be annoying to have to borrow one of theirs to check power levels from now on."

Bulma nods, resting a chin on her fist, "Well, if the computer parts are remotely like what we have on Earth... I might be able to duplicate it, if I have an intact example...." She pauses, scratching her scalp. "Wait... a power level. That's like... your ki right?"

You shrug, "In a manner of speaking. They aren't one and the same, but they do affect each other, yes."

Bulma chews the inside of her cheel for a moment, "Then you guys can't sense ki?"

You furrow your brow. "Sense ki? How's that even possible?"

Bulma shrugs apologetically. "Sorry. I have no idea how it works. All I know is that Goku and everyone learned it from...."

"A rather unpleasant teacher." A cold voice says, running a chill down your spine again. "Goku was a good source of fun, however." Popo says, having appeared behind you.

"I'm listening then." You tell him, Bulma determinedly walking away towards Risel.

Popo's ever present smile grows a few notches wider with your agreement. "Well then. Follow me. Wouldn't want the maggots knowing your capabilities, now would you?"

He leads you into the castle, taking the first door onto the right, leading you into a room pitch black, save for a candle in it's centre, apparently floating there. "Now then. How do I describe something like this. I believe I told Goku it was like describing sight to the blind. Or describing what hope feels like to Ranfan right about now."

You gulp, as Popo's form dissolves away, into the darkness without a trace, the door swinging shut behind you, plunging the entire room into pure black, as you feel the floor drop out from under you.

You yelp, catching yourself in the air, staying near the candle. "Are you ready?"

"I can take it." You tell him.

"Brave." He says simply, his voice echoing off unseen walls. "Now. Clear your mind."

You take a deep breath, staring into the flame of the candle, focusing on thinking of nothing, slow, deep breaths flowing through you.

You take a deep breath, staring into the candle light, focusing on the way it dances, the light shifting, as it grows larger and larger in your vision, large enough to block out the sky.

A giant ball of flame clots out your vision, the skies of Planet Vegeta are burning, the atmosphere being sucked into the giant Death Ball, the mad screeching cackle of the space tyrant drowning all you can hear, as Saiyans run through the street, bumping and shoving you each and every which way, some taking to the air, others panicking and looting, fighting in the streets.

A second laugh joins Freiza's, as an enourmous wash of pain blasts over you, knocking you through a wall, shattering your ribs, Popo's laugh.

You feel like you're drowning in inky blackness now, with the firey ball gone, like your moving through dense, oily water, clawing yourself upwards, you burst free, emerging from a pile of rubble, the Death Ball closer than ever, Nappa and a beardless King Vegeta stand over you, palms open and levelled, before they unleash a flurry of energy blasts, pummelling you into the dirt, before Nappa stomps on your gut, his boot piercing your stomach, punching all the way through and severing bot your spine and your tail in one blow. With your body in absolute, wrecking agony, as Freiza's laugh drowns out, replaced entirely by Popo's, as your vision fades to complete and utter blackness.

You awaken in a pile of cold sweat in a bed. You bolt upright, gasping and checking your stomach, your tail, relieved that they're still in place, before spotting Chichi in a bed against the far wall.

"You didn't learn it." Popo says, blinking into sight. "But I learned some things about you. So I'd say it was a fun afternoon." He gestures out the open window. "It's night now. The others are all asleep. Their dreams are a new source of amusement for me to mould."

You gulp once more, drinking deeply from a water jug next to your bed.

You pound the mattress, your limb feeling unbelievably weak, "Again. We only have a year, and that isn't nearly long enough."

Popo simply laughs. "Do what you wish. But that place will grow more real each time you visit."

He smirks, grabs your wrist, and once more you're back in the pitch black room, the candle in front of you.

"You know the rule. Relax. Cleared mind. Whatever."

Breathing in through your nose, still calming down from last time, you attempt to empty yourself of all thought again.

You successfully empty your mind this time, focusing on nothing, yet everything, feeling yourself, not only as a phsyical form, but as a well of energy, and slowly, others start to blip into your awareness as well, smaller ones, those of the humans, and Spike, then Kami's and Piccolos, different, yet similar, then the spike in size, an enormous source of energy, to your left, where the ship was; Diol and the girls, even asleep, their power eclipses anything on this planet. That you can sense anyway.

You open your eyes, finding yourself in the hallway of the castle entrance again. "Hmmm. You did well." Popo concedes. "Even if I was distracted. Hang on, hold still."

He reaches out a hand towards your head, and for but a split second, you feel something unspeakable tear its way through your brain, before you're alone in your head again, but aware of those powers around you.

"There. You unlocked the ability. I locked it in place." Popo tells you, "Now all you have to do is just feel out and you should be able to find any power levels."

"Thanks Popo." You tell him, unable to feel any power coming from him.

Popo just stares. "Before you come bothering me about it, no. I won't teach you anything else. You had your one. And I won't lock anything else for you either." He vanishes from sight. "Popo, out!"

Well, it was a 'Learn anything from Popo' card, at least.

Maybe we can prompt one of the girls to approach him about learning something else? If he's willing to teach someone his teleporting trick, that would be awesome.

Or get Kami to teach it.

>>
You head out onto the open air of the lookout, pushing off into the air and flexing out your limbs entirely, hoping to never feel the agony you felt under Nappa's boot again, shivering as you furl your tail up around your waist. Zooming along close to the surface of the lookout, you examine some of the scuff marks left in the tiles, mostly from the failed attempts at attacking you, particularly Chichi's ki blast, which left a large scar in the white tile, deep into the rock surface underneath.

Your strength back in your limbs, you float over to the ship, extending the ramp and zipping up into the ships showers. You spend a long time inside the showers, scrubbing the sweat and dirt of the day off you, redressing only in your space suit, you toss your armour atop the sleeping servants, barking at them that you want it clean by sunrise.

You fall asleep to the sounds of their grunting efforts. What feels like only seconds later, Teito is shaking you awake. "Kabu? They're asking for you to start practice."

The Shamoians, whose name you still don't care to ask, present your armour to you, the crack in the stomach armour even more pronounced now that the dirt has been cleaned off it.

You descend the ramp, pulling it on, to find the girls talking to each other, Diol and Tien also talking a short distance away under their breath. Most of the other recruits are lined up and waiting, even Gohan, the confused looking child looking up at those around him.

Doing a head count, you notice that both Chichi and Yajirobe aren't here though. You feel out for them, sensing an an energy in the bedroom you shared with the woman last night. Also inside the castle is Kami, and a level down, somewhere in the depths of the lookout is another power, almost definitely Yajirobe.

Yamcha raises a hand, "So what are we doing today? After seeing what you can do, I'm terrified of those other guys."

"Risel, you start warming them up, okay? Teito and I have some slackers to catch."

She nods, bouncing forward and waving. "Good morning everyone! Today, we're going to try and focus on studying Saiyan martial technique, so you'll know what kind of moves the invaders might pull off. Not only that, but you guys can teach me about all your different schools once we've done that." She laughs a little, as you and Teito enter the castle, "It'll be fun."

Teito snorts a little in her throat. "Talk about mood whiplash. The look on some of their faces was priceless."

You just grunt, "Right. You go track down the fat one, he's downstairs somewhere, and you'll find him faster with the scouter. I have to go talk to the loud woman."

Teito takes a flight of stairs down, shutting one eye and tracking through her purple scouter lens.

You follow the small power source back to the bedroom, finding Chichi still in her bed, eyes shut, peaceful.

You prepare to shout at her to wake up, when Kami and Popo appear. "Please, Kabuya, try not to wake the poor woman. I know you insist on spending as much time training as possible, but after her... disagreement with you yesterday, the bones in all of her fingers are all broken or fractured." Kami clears his throat. "Just give her some time. I will have something soon enough to get her back on her feet. A day or two at most. Until then, I'm keeping her asleep, to prevent her from attacking again and worsening her condition."

You go to respond, when you hear an enormous crash outside. "Think you can just relax all day, fatty?" You hear Teito roar, along with scurrying footsteps. You step out into the hallway, the fatman already running past you.

Teito growls as she chases him, "Found him in a pantry, bastard already ate his way through half the stuff in there!"

Yajirobe's desperately rushing for the door that leads outside the castle.

You zip through the air, foot first, kicking him in the centre of the spine, just as he claws the door open.

He goes sailing across the tiles, you behind him, boot still firmly lodged in his back, before you drive him downwards, dragging him through the tile.

He screams and blubbers in pain, as you drive him straight through the centre of the crowd, interrupting Risel's demonstration, as Yajirobe finally comes to a rest.

You step off him and kick him over, his robe ripped open, revealing his obese body underneath, bleeding and torn as it is. "You think you can just shirk responsibility fat boy?" You demand.

"Kabu! Please, don't." Risel pleads, "I think he's learned a lesson, right Yaji?"

You hang back, cracking your knuckles menacingly, and watching them as they give a variety of suggestions, Risel fielding why some would and wouldn't work, before moving onto a new move, as Teito joins you.

Shrugging, you challenge her to a sparring match a short distance away from the group, telling her to show them an example of how Saiyans can fight when the mean it.

You start a short distance from each other, staring each other down, before Teito zips forward, a boot flying at your chest. You catch it by crossing your arms, squaring the force of the blow through your limbs, as the blow drives you backwards along the Lookout.

You could have dodged it easily, but you wanted them to see what kind of power Teito could really muster up.

That done, you let the match begin, dashing through the air over the lookout, blasting at Teito, your fist crashing into her gut, only to be met by a heavy blow along your temple, which you follow with a boot into her chest, sending her crashing towards the castle, before she catches herself.

"Time to show off?" She asks, which you nod too. She hunches over, gathering energy "Teito.... THRASHER!" A beige wave of energy comes surging up at you, wide and powerful, but slow. You easily dodge it, getting below her, and striking her with a partially pulled Kabuya Kannon, sending her reeling through the air, crashing into the top of the ship.

She grins, wipes some blood off her chin and charges at you again, trading a flurry of blows. She might not have as high a power level of you, but damn does she hit hard and she doesn't pull her punches on the weak spot in your armour, knowing that she can exploit the weakness, she rains blows on your gut, actually managing to bring you down first, she slams you back into the tiles below, landing and resting on her knees, the Earthlings just watching with gaping mouths.

"BACK TO WORK!" You growl, as they scurry to pay attention to Risel.

I've been trawling my memories of Dragonball, trying to think of something useful we could get or do, when I remembered something that would be incredibly useful, yet, once again, was completely ignored by Goku and the others in favour of the 'just hit it harder' option.

Shape shifting.

Oolong and Puar were in the same class together a shape shifting school.

That's right. It's not just a natural talent they had. There's a school where you can learn this.

Think how useful that would be!
>Walk up to Freeza in form of someone he trusts.
>Shank him with Ki blade the moment he turns his back.
>Laugh as King Cold and Coola hunt down and murder Zarbon for assassinating Freeza.

>>
>>38988647
Might be useful, considering the absurd power gap between us and Frieza
>>
>>38988647
This is admittedly a really great ability.

>>38988647
Man, Dragonball is just full of fun and interesting things that were mostly left alone in DBZ, wasn't it?

>>38988647
Or we can wish for immortality and abuse zenkai.

You step forward, pointing at the fight weary girl. "She's tougher than all of yo combined. So here's whats going to happen. Risel will pick the three of you who were doing the best and you'll all fight her at the same time. As she takes each of you down, Risel will tell someone else to jump in." You eye Yajirobe hard. "Now. Where do I find this Bulma woman? I have questions for her."

"Bulma? We live in West City." Yamcha offers.

"You mean SHE lives in West City." Tien points out. "YOU mooched off her. Krillin told us all about your breakup."

Yamcha rounds on him, "Y-you shut up, okay?"

You pop your knuckles, preparing to stop the bickering, only for Risel to jump in. "Guys, guys. Calm down.... I think you two and Krillin should be the first to fight. Got it? I mean, you three were doing the best..."

They shrug, putting their fight aside and square circle around Teito. With a whistle and a gesture, you ask Teito to toss her scouter to you, readjusting it to your head, as you spot Diol coming down the ship ramp, yawning in boredom.

"Wait... the HFIL's West City?" You ask.

"I know the way!" Risel pipes up, "I've been studying maps of the planet."

"Wouldn't it just be faster if one of us showed you the way?" Yamcha pipes up.

>Who will be your guide?
>>
>>38988677
>>38988683
If Yamcha is here, Puar will be around too. We'll probably see Oolong at some point. It's only a matter of time before we see one of them shape shifting. Then, not being a complete retard, we'll ask about the incredibly useful power and learn about a school that teaches it!
>>
>>38988765
"You are not getting out of getting your ass kicked. Risel stay here and make sure Teito doesn't kill anyone of importance. I'll take the two triclopses"
>>

Ask what direction it is, how far, and what the nearest street intersection is. We should be able to find it from there, it's not like they live in Georgia where the roads twist everywhere and look like a plate of noodles.

Seriously, they have a place called Spaghetti Junction. That's not a good sign for travel.

>>
>>38988768
If it proves interesting, sure. But we still need to train ourselves, train the girls in sensing energy, learn solar flare (and Kiezan), and train the jobbers.

And train Yajarobi. He needs to be the strongest, fittest human ever.
>>
You turn to Yamcha, "Are you trying to skip training? Because it sure sounds like it to me, boy."

Yamcha shakes his head fearfully, standing upright at attention. "No ma'am. Just wanted to help. I'm sorry. I'll stay."

"Good." You point back at Risel. "Just tell me where the city is, and what the building looks like. I'll find it."

"Ummm, West?" Risel offers, pointing west by southwest, "Straight that way as the space crow flies."

"And you want the mansion that has a big sign saying Capsule Corp on a sign over it." Krillin adds. "Say hi for us will ya?"

You're already gone by the time the question leaves his lips, powering off towards the huge collection of tiny power levels, zipping over the countryside, mountain ranges, forest, ocean and wasteland rolling by underfoot, filled with people, small wildlife and the occasional huge lizard, easily ten times your own height, even then their power only reaches around 30 according to the scouter.

It takes roughly two hours to reach the city, powering over the planet surface, you come to a rest over roughly the centre of the metropolis, casting an eye around for a sign.

Aha!

You dive, touching down by a large pool and strutting towards the backdoor, knocking as gently as possible, the wall still rattles from the rap of your knuckles.

You hear a quiet noise behind you. "Y'know, usually when I tell the neighbourhood association that I pointed a gun at a monkey person in my back yard, people act all awkward about it for some reason." The sound of metal sliding against metal rings out, as you turn to find a small man in a white coat and thick glasses, he has a small metallic looking pair of tubes levelled at you, likely to compensate for his powel level 4. Even lower than the average human of 5. "But I think they'll be fine with this." The man adds.

You bend the tubes upwards, "Cute. I'm here for Bulma. I assume you're her father?"

He pouts and tosses the tubes down, "Oh fine, another one of my daughters freak friends gallivanting through my lawn again. "Yes, she's in the lab back there." He points over his shoulder at a factory looking building, which you enter, finding her pouring over the innards of a disassembled scouter at a workbench. You take a moment to scout her power as well, surprised, she might not be as strong as the others, but her power level is doubled over a normal person at 12.

"Oh hey." She grunts, examining the pieces under a magnifying glass. "I'm not so sure I can reproduce these scouter things. Some of the parts are incredibly rare elements on Earth. I might be able to make.... three? Maybe four? But it'll take a while to figure it all out, what with the whole computers embedded in the glass thing." She pushes away from the desk, spinning in her chair and leaning back against it. Not to mention, I have no idea how to produce a battery that small. And the transmitter is a whole other issue that complicates things. If you want it the same size, it could take all year to build, and we don't even know how long we have til these Saiyans get here."

She pauses, flexing her fingers, while you take a moment to think on that. "But I could assemble a slightly clunkier one. It'll bigger and more of a target, but I can finish it up in a couple of months?"

Make maybe a few more in case they break. Mostly for communicating and breaking them pretending to be fighting blind now that we can sense it.

After that, make a portable, adjustable gravity amplifier, that can do a ton of gravity. We have one on the ship, if you want examples.

More gravity=more gravity training for maggots. + if we have portable one, we can do time dilation + gravity.

Oh, and we need to destroy their (Vegeta and Nappa) scouters immediately in case Frieza is listening in on them.

>>
>>38989378
Ask Bouton battle armor, heaping tanks and gravity chambers. Mention that we are well aware of the competitive advantage our sharing of technology will give your company.
Also, we want armor of Bardock's design for goku. For physiological warfare purposes
>>
>>38989522
Excellent point. We are NOT getting fooled by that a second time. We already got these two on our trail because they were listening in on an open channel.

We should develop a weak but extremely wide area blast that is just strong enough to wreck sensitive electronics.
>>
>>38989451
Second
>>
>>38989483
Yes we do, the communication functions are invaluable
>>
>>38989589
We can have communicators without needing scouters.

>>
>>38989558
Getting replacement armor would also be good before they get here.
>>
I have a vote on >>38989451, but I'd recommend
we also do >>38989575. We've seen the weaknesses we have already, so let's try to overcome them.

We'll teach the girls the ki sensing thing on our own at nights, no need to let the Earthlings think we can't do it on our own.
>>
>>38989612
Honestly, whatever works, especially if it's strong/durable and has a decent range.
>>
You scratch your chin in consideration. "Can you set up something rudimentary for me for the short term? Doesn't have to be head mounted, just need it portable enough for me to check the scrubs power levels. After that I'd like it if you could focus on making the smaller ones. Quality over speed."

Bulma scratches her head with the end of a screwdriver, "It should be doable." I'll fly up to the Lookout when it's done. Give me... a week?"

You nod, "Sounds like a plan." Bulma holds her hand out, and you shake it as delicately as possible, leaving her still looking shaken from the experience.

She pauses as she's about to turn back to her work. "Hey listen, if you guys ever get sick of the... stuff Popo cooks up there, you could all fly down here some time for a big dinner? From what I've seen of Goku, we're probably the only family on Earth that could afford to feed three Saiyans AND the Z fighters."

You pause, about to stride away, with a collosal effort you ignore the mention of food. "The HFIL are the Z fighters?" You ask.

Bulma looks up form her work again, "Huh? Oh, it's what we called our group. Y'know, Me, Goku, Krillin. Pretty much all the guys at the tower but that devil freak.

"The offer is generous. I'd like that. But only if they earn it as a reward."

Bulma giggles under her breath at that. "I like the way you think." She leans over her bench slightly. "It's nice having another woman to talk to. Chichi's alright, but damn if she isn't demanding sometimes."

You can't help but laugh yourself at that, "Don't say I'm not demanding in front of your friends. They'll probably try to choke you." You and Bulma both share a laugh over that one. "Alright, thanks for the offer, but I should be going." You take off at a run for the open door, powering upwards into the air, back towards the lookout.

Shockingly, by the time you get back, Teito is still fighting, looking dead tired, she's still squaring down with Yamcha and Tien, who are keeping her at bay with energy blasts, zipping through the air over the tower. Krillin, Spike, Chiaotzu and Yajirobe are all unconscious on the floor, and Risel is cradling Gohan in her arms, when you touch down.

"Dodon Ray!" A roughed up looking Tien blasts his thin yellow beam at Teito, exploding it off her shoulder, before Yamcha rushes her side, hands held like claws.

"WOLF... FANG.. .FIST!!!" He yells, before pummelling his hands into her side, catching her off guard, crashing into her again and again, before pulling off a double ax handle, sending Teito crashing to the floor.

You wander over to check her. FInding her snoring on the tiles. You're entirely sure if she was knocked out or fell asleep, as Tien and Yamcha let themselves fall out of the sky, slamming into the tiles with a painful thud, but their eyes still open, breath ragged on the floor.

"They just wouldn't give up." Risel tells you, they just kept dashing out of her grip, letting the other hit her when she wasnt looking, while the others got laid out. Not to mention Tien used Solar Flare too!"

You look around at these 'Z fighters' all spread out on the floor, in various states of pain, and Teito, snoring loudly next to you.

"Good work team. Sleep it off!" You tell them with exaggerated earnestness. "Risel, put Teito in her bed and keep Gohan in the ship too. Just in case. I'll put the others somewhere."

You heft Yamcha and Tien up and carry them inside first, placing them in a communal bedroom, before dragging the unconscious ones in as well.

Dusting your hands off, you lazily toss blankets over each of them, Tien nodding appreciatively and Yamcha smiling up at you blearily, seconds before he drops off too sleep.

That done, Risel joins you out on the lookout, the sun teasing along the purpling horizon, night not quite fully set. She offers a tray of... something, explaining Popo had dropped it off at the ship.

You take a bite and hiss. "What did he call this?" You demand, "It tastes like sugary vegetables."

Risel thinks back, tapping her chin. "I think he said they were called... fruit?"

You toss yours back on the tray, "Disgusting." You pick through it, looking for something edible instead, coming up with some turnips, which you greedily devour.

Tossing the stem off the edge of the lookout, you decide too...

"Come on." You point back towards the castle, "I want to see this Pendulum room in action."

Risel follows you as you lead the way to Kami's throne, entering without knocking. He jerks up in his chair, steepling his hands as he looks down at you. "You know, on my planet- and I do mean MY planet- it's customary to knock on the door, before entering."

Risel peers around, smiling innocently, "On ours, it was a tradition to turn weak people into a servile class."

Kami clears his throat, "Well. Yes. Is there something I can help you too with."

"Yeah." You cut in, "I want to see this Pendulum Room thing of yours. Put it through its paces before I let the trainees take a shot."

Popo appears behind you. "Very well. Kami?" Kami nods. "Then I will take you there."

A heartbeat later you're in a strange red room. "From here, your mind may travel to any point of conflict in time." Popo tells you, stepping out of the circle that you and Risel are in. "Now, how about a nice little blast from the past?" His tone raises slightly, which you've learned to associate with his amusement. "Something I gleaned from your little lesson earlier." He raises his hands, eyes flat and unblinking. "Byyyye." He snaps his fingers, and a green bolt circles down from the unseeable roof, crashing into you and Risel, as your vision dims.

Your eyes shoot open onto a familiar scene, Freiza Planet 419. But this time, the space port you met the Brench woman, Tore. But instead of a bustling space port, filled with business and crime, you see fire and destruction, a short, purple skinned and spiky haired man at the epicentre of it, blasting people, with a righteous fury.

And then he turns to you, as the scouter Teito gave you starts going insane, the ki you sense radiating off him too large too process.

"Oh.... shit." You mutter under your breath.

So, the Supreme Kai wrecked Tore?

That always confused me. Freeza was stronger than King Kai, that's why he didn't intervene directly. That makes sense. But why the fuck didn't the Grand Kai or Supreme Kai ever do something?

It's not like the PTO was a minor local problem. It was a fucking galactic scale threat. They destroyed or enslaved hundreds or worlds.

Isn't it their job to deal with shit like that? Why the hell hasn't the Supreme Kai already killed Freez, Cold and Coola?
>>
>>38990935

Supreme Kai isn't very good at his job. Mostly a combination of his superiors getting absorbed/murdered before they could put him through the ropes, and not enough higher ups giving a shit to come down there and teach him how to Supreme Kai properly.

Yeah. Although taking over a planet and ruling it seems more like a Raditz thing. I could see Kabu being a de facto ruler because she trained up enough to be so much fucking stronger than anyone else, but actively taking part in stuff like that doesn't seem up her alley.

Remember that before we got to Earth, we were trying to find ways to get a lot stronger than we were and find valuable techniques so that we could kill Frieza (and probably any other people who'd come after us if he died).

Setting ourselves up with the good life on this planet sounds good.

We could shack up with Bulma and use her company to develop and sell our technology to the local primitives. We could live like Queens without the hassle of needing to conquer and rule.

Human genes are apparently close enough to be compatible but recessive enough for the Saiyan genes to produce little power houses like Gohan. We could rebuild our race here. The Saiyans will live again.

>This whole planet has been freeloading off of Kakarot's strength. Therefore, you all owe a debt to the Saiyan race. I intend to collect on that debt for a very long time.

Or we could just hire Dr. Gero or Weelo to use genetic engineering to create a large number of pure strain saiyans.

We do like having servants/slaves though.

Gero is too invested in revenge to be useful to us, plus we don't even know he exists. Wheelo is more or less the same. Both are probably too insane to be of any significant help in that respect, and they'd probably betray us whenever they got the chance.

Bulma could probably learn how to do robotics or genetics if she put her mind to it. She was able to learn how to take the bomb out of Android 16 and fix him up despite never having worked with the technology before in her life. We'd just need to give her ample incentive to do so.

This would probably be a bad idea. Giving mad scientists access to waves of Saiyan foot soldiers.

To use against us.

Takes a while to mature though.

>Let Dr. Gero or Weelo create mutant abominations with our genes.

FUCK. NO.

I am not exactly against hiring an expert we can trust to create some Saiyan test tube babies to just start the revival but...... Dr. Gero or Weelo? Are you fucking damaged?

You are banned from all hiring decisions from now on.

To be fair, the ratio of evil to not evil scientists is kinda skewed. We might be able to bribe Wheelo with a strong body actually.

Other than deranged psychos and monsters, how many people did Goku actually know? Ever?

Like... a couple dozen. Over the course of his whole life.

Dud did not have a rich social life. Bet there are loads of people that could help us with that. They just never got any screen time in DBZ because they're not people that Goku needed to fight.

Dr. Collie would work. Immoral, but works for the highest bidder.
>>
So which DBZ boy are we going to breed with?
Juan Sanchez?

The Briefs family is more than qualified to cater to all of our science needs. Dr. Briefs builds FTL spaceships with pre-FTL technology like how one would build a cobblestone house in Minecraft, and Bulma's even smarter but less focused than he is. They just didn't have the drive to create killer androids, nor did they have years of android research to build on like Gero did with all of his fellow RR army scientists.

State of your hair, girl
Shave them sideburns.

To be fair he never imagined some backwater planet would have the massively powerful warriors Earth ended up having. If they had been barely strong enough to defeat Dabura tier then it would have been perfect, Buu would never have been revived and Babidi would have gotten rekt.

so what kind of of monstrosities do you think Ranfan will give birth to if she ever comes back?

will it be Jynx?

I'd have thought Gohan would have been a big clue. Y'know, when he restrained him as he transformed into a Super Saiyan and was staggeringly more powerful than he expected. And the way the others didn't consider that anything special.

And the way they were all constantly talking about how they aren't impressed by the Dabura pussy. How they took apart the fucking 'leet of Babadis forces like they were nothing..... Yet the dumb shit never thought to revise his kunnin plan.

Not to imply it's all on him. The others were equally dumb.

>"Hey these rooms feed on our excess energy and use it to revive the monster."
>"Well, since we know it's a trap, and know what the trap is, what should we do?"
>"Let's just charge ahead and spring the trap, giving the monster all the energy it needs to revive!"
>"..... should we not, maybe, go back out and enter a different way?"
>"There was only one door."
>"We can tunnel our way through the earth with zero effort and just burn our way into the ship from the lowest level."
>"Nah, the trap sounds like more fun!"
