Mushroom A Cute Edition

Your name is Kazuya Narukami, and you are the best friend of a standard harem MC. A month ago, your party of thirteen defeated the Dark Lord Azazel and restored peace to the world.
Your ordinary lives have resumed, so your objective is now twofold. That is, resolving your bro's harem and supporting him to the very end!

CHARACTER SHEET: http://pastebin.com/xvvxpc7K
TWITTER: https://twitter.com/TwilightThorn
PREVIOUS THREADS: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Harem%20Bro%20Quest

The time is six in the morning. Light is shining through your bedroom window. You blink, sleepily and gently slide the covers off your chest. Then you reach for your clothes lying on the side of your bed and begin to get dressed.

You spent a lot of time last night, thinking. Thinking about your bro’s harem, and the right angles to approach each of them. Hatoko, Kurumi, Laura, Sachiko and Ayase: all them your friends, and all of them adolescent girls capable of mass destruction.

You also thought about the future, of yours and your bro. What would happen after the harem was resolved? Life would go on as usual. You weren’t sure if polygamy was allowed in Japan, but you were sure the government could make an exception for the boy who had saved their asses, along with the rest of the world. Secondly, how would the wedding go down? Furthermore, what about the night after?

You shake your head, rapidly.

You might be getting too ahead of yourself, you muse. Baby steps, first. Deal with the five girls, get them to reconcile their differences, prevent them from violently killing each other and voila! Then you would have time to worry about marriage, abnormally powerful offspring and the ethics of sleeping with five girls at once.

The curtains are swung open. You rub the last bits of sleepiness out of your eyes and put on your trusty pointy anime shades. It’s a fine day outside, not a single grey cloud in the sky. You decide that now was a good time as any to begin your little quest. You could start thinking about which harem member to convince first. Still, it was always worth it to get a separate opinion, especially when it came to long and arduous trials such as these…

What will you do?

Talk to ALL the other members of the party. Resolving the harem is going to be the hardest thing we've ever done - harder even than fighting the hordes of Azazel's minions while bro fought him to the death in his Reality Marble - and we can't do this one alone.

You flip open your phone and call the first number on your favourites list. No, it isn’t your parents or Syoko. It’s your best bro. If there was any individual in the world who understood the keys to the five girls’ hearts, it would the very man they fell in love with in the first place. The phone rings shrilly, once, twice. Then you hear your bro pick up the line on the other end.

“Kazuya?” He says, yawning a little. “What’s up? Kinda early in the morning, too…”

“Ah, sorry bro.” You apologize. “I should’ve called you later.”

“Nah nah, it’s fine.” Your bro says. He’s probably smiling on the other line. “I was lying in bed here, doing nothing anyway. So, what’s up?”

You take a deep breath and slump down in your bedroom chair. “Bro, I’m going to be frank with you. I think the time has come for me to start resolving your harem.”

You take a deep breath and slump down in your bedroom chair. “Bro, I’m going to be frank with you. I think the time has come for me to start resolving your harem.”

There is a brief moment of silence on the other line. Then your best friend’s voice returned, more serious than ever. “I see. I guess we couldn’t put it off forever, huh?”

“No. We can’t.”

“Yeah. I understand.” Your bro sighs. “The question is, where do we start?”

“I was thinking that I might go around one by one and try to convince them. Hatoko, Kurumi, Laura, Sachiko and Ayase—all them love you. The problem that none of them are willing to share. That’s my goal: to teach the importance of sharing you between them. Once all five are done, it’ll be all over. Still, I dunno where to start.”

“And that’s why you called me, right?” Your bro says. “Well…I got it! I’ll act like a blackboard, and you can bounce ideas off me. Go for it.”

Hmm. Which girl to choose first? You boot up your computer and access a file on the desktop. In it it’s all the information about your party members: their strengths, weaknesses and skills. Your hacker tank man prepared it for battle co-ordination purposes. So, who will you talk to your bro about?

>Hatoko. She’s your childhood friend. She deserves to know first.
>Kurumi. Her deviousness needs to be taken care of.
>Laura. If you use logic, it’ll be easier to convince her.
>Sachiko. Get one of the harder and charismatic girls over and done with.
>Ayase. She is dangerous, so she should be the first priority.

Fuck I'm trying to remember the makeup of the party.

1.Tatsuya Leader
2.Kazyua The bro
3.Hatoko childhood friend mage
4.Kurumi gunslinger/mage (the former enemy iirc)
5. Laura Cyborg robo-suit girl
6. Sachiko scheming healer ojou-san
7. Ayase the assassin cousin
8. Syoko Mushroom-tan
9. Six the dick-ass courier

Then I remember something about a mad scientist and the rest I cannot remember. I kindof wish TT would update the char sheet with a brief char summary just so it's easier to remember who is who.

You mind flashes back to all the times you spend with your childhood friend, Hatoko Kushikawa. If the party ever had an original group of members, it would be you, your bro and Hatoko. Your bro’s excuse to leave school and look for his parents sounded farfetched, yet Hatoko believed him without hesitation. Even when tension had risen, demons started attacking the group and journey got so much more dangerous, she refused to leave. When your bro had been stricken with grief after December the First, Hatoko had been the first person to comfort him, letting him temporarily put his tears aside. You had known her since the three of you had been kids, to be sweet, compassionate and one of the greatest friends you ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Putting her first sounded perfect. Hatoko needed to know. No, she deserved to know. She had long since earned that right.

“I was thinking Hatoko.” You respond, “She’s been with us since forever. It’s her right to know.”

“Yeah, true that, Kazuya.” Your bro responds. “It wouldn’t feel right to leave her until later, or last. So…you got any idea how to convince her?”

You blink, and put her hand on her chin. “Hatoko is understanding and kind, right? If I talk to her about it, she’ll probably get the gist of it and accept it before long. She might be a bit upset, but I think I’ll be able to handle it.”

“Hmm…I think that sounds alright. But uh, try not to make her cry. Still, what about the others?”

“Kurumi, Laura, Sachiko and Ayase? Uh, what about them?”

“How are you going to prevent them from finding out?”

“What do you mean?” You ask.
>>
Your bro actually sounds kinda embarrassed for a moment. If you weren’t a guy, you’d find it positively adorable. “I was thinking that I might take Hatoko out for a date after you convince her. You know, to the Crimson Café or someplace fancy. And maybe…maybe…give her the first kiss?”

You burst out laughing. “Geez bro! You’re really fired up about this, aren’t you?”

“Well, yeah! I love Hatoko. But, uh, if the other four find out, they’ll get angry and start asking questions. What happens then?”

>We’ll just hide our plans.”
>“Pretend we don’t know anything.”
>“Make up some excuse on the fly.”
>“We’ll deal with it when that happens.”
>Custom option.”

>Custom option.”
Well, ideally we'll have gotten her to agree to the harem plan by that point, so she'll be okay with not telling the others. As for keeping the other girls from finding out on their own, I propose we get the other members of the party to help us run interference, keep them busy so they won't run into the two of them. Worst case scenario, we drug them with Syoko's shrooms.
>>
>>38916209
I'm really starting to like our bro more and more. Been that way since he's started accepting the fact that he has a harem.
>>
>>38916209
>We’ll just hide our plans.”

>Set up a distraction for the other girls
>See if we can enlist some of the other party members to help keep tabs on the four.

The Bard could be handy for keeping their attention, and the Burly Hacker Man might be able to pull something to keep tabs on all of their locations so we can wrangle them if they go AWOL.
>>
>>38915530
I doubt the MC has enough self-esteem for this

Though, if the cosmic forces of fate have a sense of humor, he'll end up with an harem too.
>>
“We’ll deal with it when that happens.” You say without an ounce of levity. Because if there was one thing your party was known for, it was getting into the most convoluted and retarded situations possible. Your party’s Burly Hacker Man arguing with that man from the Underworld over big breasts or delicious flat chests, and suddenly your group found yourself on the run from a horde of red and white dragons. How about Courier stealing the wrong artefact at the wrong time, kicking off a stupidly clichéd escape-the-dungeon-before-it-collapses-on-you sequence? The point was, shit was bound to happen, shit that you could no way predict. It would be better to think stuff up on the fly.

Mind you, that was one of your bro’s greatest strengths.

“You have a point, Kazuya.” Your bro agrees with you. “Uh, I think I should get breakfast now. Call me back when you’ve made your final decision. Then we can plan stuff together.”

“Understood, bro. See you.” With that, you hang up. Then you decide to get your own breakfast, and head downstairs.

Today’s menu is bacon and fried eggs and loads and loads of hashbrowns. You help your mother with the porridge, and then sit down to eat. As you pour ketchup on our absurdly large plate and chomp through meat and mashed potato, you think. You trusted Hatoko, but she was honest. Would she be able to keep a secret, especially confronted with someone charismatic like Sachiko or intimidating like Kurumi? Then again, she was one of the most powerful mages in the world, capable of performing the legendary Marble Phantasm.

Still, it might suffice to get Kurumi or Laura on your side. They were some of the more resourceful members of the party, and weren’t as arrogant as Sachiko.

Decisions, decisions…

After some deliberation, and lots of food, you pick up your schoolbag and head out the door. School awaits. It hasn't gone anywhere, you know. You'll have to plan throughout the day. Then you take out your phone and call your bro. You’ve decided to convince…

“Hey, I’ve made my decision.” You say, once the line is connected. Unfortunately, it isn’t your bro who answers. It shares his blood, but is probably someone much more dangerous. No, it is the woman who was trained by a legendary hero, who could trace a thousand knives at once and fling them at her opponents.

“Hello Kazuya.” Ayase replies, “What decision are you talking about?”

Your breath catches in your throat. How the hell did she…no, wait. Of course she could steal a phone. She was the party assassin, after all. “Hi Ayase.” You say, keeping your voice flat and trying to sound as normal as possible. “Why do you have bro’s phone?”

“I’ll answer your question if you answer mine. What is this decision? Tell me.” Ayase says, voice as calm as ever. But you know for a fact that the beginnings of a trench knife are forming in her hands.

You think for a little. Hurry, you need to think of an excuse that wouldn’t be lying. If Ayase caught you telling fibs, your precious family jewels would be in the danger zone!

“Ice-cream.” You finally say.

“Ice…cream?” Ayase repeats, clearly not convinced.

“Yeah. Ice-cream. Bro ran out and asked me which flavour to buy.” This isn’t technically a lie. He did mention that yesterday. Hopefully when Ayase told him, he would get the hint. “I think chocolate and cookies would be good.”

“Is that so?” Ayase replies, her suspicion present. “Well, we really don't have any tubs left. Alright then. I’ll tell him.”

“So, why do you have bro’s phone?”
>>
“I was checking if he was making any suspicious calls.” Ayase replies, and you can feel the tension radiating off her. Are her eyes somewhat hollow? Likely. Ayase could be very scary when she wanted to, which was practically half the time. “Particularly, those with other girls…”

“You know that my bro calls me all the time.” You reply.

“It’s still a cause for worry!” Ayase growls.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” You ask.

“N-nothing!” And then the line goes dead. You sigh. So much for notifying your bro about your plans. Hatoko would be walking to school with him with the rest of the girls, so no chance there. Talking in class was definitely a no go. You would have to catch him during first-break, or at lunch. Take him somewhere private, like the rooftop, and consult with him.

Speaking of classes, what’s your first one for the day?

A properly managed Yandere can be the sweetest and most attentive wife. Only in a monogamous relationship.

The number of men in the World with the will, patience and courage to properly manage a Yandere are likely counted on one hand.

Could I get you guys to fill out this strawpoll in the meantime?

http://strawpoll.me/3954053

If /a/ is anything to go by, you guys are going to hate who I put as the Creepy Unnerving Doctor. Something tells me that the feeling would be mutual on the other end.

Writing now...

Well then I guess it won't be Stein after all
>>
>>38917640
That's why we have to get Ayase OUT of the harem. She's too fucking psychotic to ever agree to share.

Well Six doesn't seem to mind sticking his dick in crazy if the way he looked at Ayase earlier says anything. maybe he can help out.

I don't know nearly enough anime to figure out which Creepy Unnerving Doctor would be most hated. So I'm going to assume that I'll like him a lot.

why guys? why do you hate the decent character archetype more than the yandere nutjob?
>>
>>38917744
Well our bro says he likes her. I don't know what the fuck he could possibly see in that crazy bitch but he's our bro so we'll try to help him out. We'd need to convince bro to step back and take a look at Ayase if we want to hook Six and her up.

You walk to your school with your bro and his harem, attend the first period and then mentally prepare yourself for the great battlefield of school. Yes, on this very day, tears will be shed, redness will be spilled and men and women will walk out of the grounds, their hearts hollow and minds shattered. It’s time for Home Economic, the cooking class of A-1 Megiddo Academy.

The moment you enter the door, your bro speaks.

“Kurumi, come with me!” He says, grabbing her by the arm.

“Ara?” She questions, as she is dragged to a nearby table. “You’re particularly forthcoming today, Tatsuya-kun.”

“I’m teaching you cooking today, so please be patient.” Normally this cause Hatoko, Laura and Sachiko to all give evil glares and possibly make a move, but your bro shoot them a look that is full of pleading. They understand immediately. Kurumi’s cooking was almost a skill in itself. A skill that enabled her to create meals that a hell god wouldn’t eat, and use them as form of inhumane warfare. You had tried one before, and sent Gray Soul cowering in fear. The same could be said for your entire digestion system.

Sachiko was also pretty bad at cooking, but at least she her meals didn’t radiate poisonous odors.

Enough contemplation. It’s time for you to begin. All harem resolving aside, this would be a good chance for you to practise your skills. Maybe you could learn something new. The ingredients are all out in front of you, and you decide to cook…

You decided to cook traditional salmagundi: a stew consisting of whatever you could get your hands on. Developed by pirates in the 17th century, it was a dish your party had made often, usually when the thirteen of you stopped at a town and couldn’t be assed to make a ‘proper’ meal. All sorts of ingredients were thrown in: ranging from delicious meats to fresh vegetables with all sort of condiments thrown in. You’ve seen your bro cook it a number of times, so should be able to do it, right?

Right?

In all seriousness, you better watch out for the timing of the ingredients. You don’t want to boil the vegies too bad, or undercook the meats. To that end, you go around to your friends and ask them what ingredients you should put in.

“Umm…how about some chicken?” Hatoko suggests, while tending to her egg omelette.

“Carrots. They are nutritious.” Laura states simply, cooking her hardy rations. You’re sure she’s the only one who eats them, along with the Big Burly Hacker Tank Man and Courier Six.

“Eggplants, ufufufu…” Sachiko giggles. Her soup doesn’t look too good, but at least she hasn’t blackmailed someone else to cook for her.

You don’t bother your bro or Kuurmi. They look busy. It appears that your bro is carefully going through the steps with Kurumi, making a simple soup. That’s good. Let them continue, uninterrupted.

You gather your ingredients, and shove in the vegetables first. They take longer to cook. The potatoes sink to the bottom, and the spinach floats to the top. You add some salt for good measure. Then you reach into your bag and take out the mushroom Syoko gave you yesterday.
>>
You’re pretty sure that while usually intended for a sedative, the red-capped mushroom could also be eaten. If you boiled it right, the chemical would fade and it would become harmless. Your memory is kinda fuzzy, though, and you may not be correct. It’s been a while since Syoko last cooked for the party. She’s…actually quite alright at cooking, mostly making mushroom-related dishes. Somewhere between you and Hatoko in terms of skill, to be precise.

What will you do?

You chop up the mushroom, firstly splitting the cap from the stalk. You cut the stalk into fine slices, and toss them in. Then you slice the cap into red chunks and have them follow the stalk bits.

Your pot begins to bubble wildly. Was this the right choice?

The pot continues to bubble, but you manage to slow it somewhat by adding some meat in. Then you add the chicken, some beef and the lamb. All in all, for a first attempt, your salmagundi is looking pretty decent. You sprinkle some spices, give it some more time to boil and then take it off the stove. You carry it down to a nearby table, where your classmates are busy sampling their meals.

Your bro comes along, and he looks sorta tired. “Everything go okay?” You say.

“Yeah. Taught Kurumi how to make some potato soup.” Your bro says. “She undercooked it, but at least it didn’t catch fire like last time. How about you?”

“I got bored, so I made some salmagundi.” You reply. “Wanna taste?”

“Sure!” Your bro grabs a spoon and heaves a mouthful of potato and meat down his maw. He chews it, swallows, and then thinks about it for a while. You await with baited breath.

“Hey, this isn’t bad!” Your bro eventually says. That’s praise, coming from a world-class chef such as him. “Is this your first time making salmagundi?”

You nod in response. He gives you a small grin. “Well, you’ve done good, Kazuya! Not too sure about the mushroom part though…maybe you should ask Syoko about that?”

“Maybe later…” You mutter, as you sit down to eat the rest of your meal. However, you scoop some into a plastic container to take home. Hatoko has made a delicious omelette, which she shares with you. Laura has somehow managed to create military energy bars out of the room supply, and she hands you one. You actually work up the courage to sample Kurumi’s cooking. Through your bro’s guidance, she has improved—a little.

You decide that you should talk to your bro first. He knows Hatoko the most, and would provide good insight onto her inner workings. Also, it would also be a good chance to warn him to secure his phone. Possibly in an electronic safe, if necessary. There was no way Ayase could break into one of those.

He appears to be doing something else, though.

“Bro, what are you doing?” You ask. He has his laptop open, and his rapidly tapping away at it.

“Calling some backup.” He mutters.

“Why?”

“Because these sorts of things aren’t meant to be done alone.

He’s on a video call application, and is choosing a member of your party. Well, it does seem like a good idea. All of these guys are adults, and would have the experience that you two lack.

Your bro is contacting your party’s second Aerial Combat Boy. By that, you mean Aerial Combat Man. Specially, the type of man who is nineteen years old, attending university and is married to the heir of one of the wealthier and more powerful families in Japan.

Also, there was a question mark hanging over the whole ‘Man’ business.

Souji ‘Shindou’ Mitsuka, more commonly known to the world as his alternate persona Tail Red, was living the dream of every $channer in existence and the fifth member of the party. No, not because he got himself hitched to a beautiful white who just happened to be a masochist. It was because he had the power to transform into a little, red-haired, twintailed girl. A little girl that could soar through the skies and rain fiery destruction onto his opponents, but it was the thought that counted. The guy had gotten addicted to his transformation, and used it as much as possible. This made talking about him kinda confusing, since he could switch his gender at the drop of a hat. You also suspect that the power also made him age slower, because he looked the same age as you and your bro, despite being three whole years your senior.

The connection goes through, and you see Souji in his Tail Red form blinking up at the both of you. He’s a girl right now, and is partway eating a ham and cheese sandwich. You see him wipe the crumbs off his mouth and begin to talk.

“Tatsuya. Kazuya. Hi!” He chirps in that cute and feminine voice of his. “How’s it going?”

“Hey, Souji.” Your bro replies. “You busy right now? We can come back later if that’s necessary.”

“No no, I’m just having a break myself.” Souji says. “I don’t have any classes for an hour or so. I can chat. So, what’s up?”

“We need to ask you something, Souji.” You jump into the conversation. “It’s about Hatoko.”

“Hatoko?” Souji tilted his red-haired head to the side, confused. “Our mage? Aren’t you guys her childhood friends? I thought you would know more about her than I do.”
>>
“You’d be right, but it’s kinda different. Look, can you keep a secret from the rest of the girls?” You say. Souji nods, but still has no clue of where this conversation is going. “Bro and I decided that it’s time to resolve his harem. We thought that we should teach all five girls to share. We’re starting with Hatoko, and since you’re married, it makes sense to ask you for advice.”

Souji remains silent. He hasn’t been expecting this. Then you his body glow with light. It shifts and twists, and suddenly Souji is a male again, wearing the Megiddo City University uniform. He’s looking downwards.

“So that’s what’s happening.” He says, almost solemnly. Then he gives the both of you a smile. “Man, you had me worried before, Tatsuya. I thought you were going to leave you harem dangling forever.”

“I don’t want to hurt them, so I want to make them understand.” Tatsuya says.

“Yeah, that’s probably for the best. Seriously though, I’m glad you’re talking to be about this. I don’t want to see you make the same mistake I did.” Souji replies.

NAME: Souji ‘Shindou’ Mitsuka (Tail Red)
ROLE: Aerial Combat/Warrior

[STATS]
Strength: B
Endurance: C+
Agility: B
Magic Potential: B-
Luck: C
Noble Phantasm: B

[ABILITIES]
Tail Gear (A): Souji has the power to transform into a red-haired, twintailed little girl. In this form, all stats are raised by a full rank. He also gains access to the Tail Gear’s artillery.
Flight (A-): In Tail Gear form, Souji can fly through the air at high speeds. Unlike Laura, Souji’s movement is more precise and agile.
Swordsmanship (B): Souji is proficient with using the Tail Gear’s saber.
Cuteness Proximity (B+): Only usable in Tail Red mode. Souji uses the charms of a cute little girl to disable his enemies. Those affected will lower their guards and receive two sub-ranks down in strength, along with a sub-rank down in endurance. Works equally well on men and women. Has less effect on people Souji is familiar with, but works very well on his wife.

[NOBLE PHANTASM]
Aura Pillar: Can only be used when Souji is transformed into Tail Red. Souji fires off a series of powerful red beams from his ribbons. Similar to Gae Bolg, the beams have already hit before they are fired. In other words, they are predetermined by fate to strike Souji’s opponents. Unlike Gae Bolg, they may not always kill.

[FACTS]
-For all intents and purposes, Souji is always referred to using male pronouns.
-Likes turning into a little girl, just for the hell of it.
-Got married before the final boss. His wife is Erina Shindou.

I assume it has to do with the fact that he's resolved his own harem situation. If he's married to Erina, then Aika and Thours are probably a bit upset.

It is amazing he survived after raising a death flag that large. Or would it be a death flag if he said he was going to get married AFTER the fight?

After would have been worse. I think.

“What mistake?” You ask, hoping that it isn’t anything too sensitive. Though, it probably is.

“My mistake? It was being dense, just like Tatsuya was.” Souji begins. “A long time ago, I was like our leader, oblivious to the feelings of those around me. You’ve met my wife, Erina?”

“Yes.” Your bro says. “We attended your wedding, and met her when we all were recuperating in the hospital.”

Souji nods. “Three years ago, I fell in love in Erina. It was kind of funny, really. I barged into her mother’s office one day, shouting about how she needed to give her daughter more freedom. I then went on and on about her twintails were great and there was no reason for Erina to give them up. I thought her mother would get angry at me. Instead, she said Erina and I should spend the rest of our lives together. It was really shocking, but I never knew at the time that in the future, I would be more than willing to what she said.” Souji then frowns. “But…the rest of my friends didn’t take it so well.”

His other friends? Did he mean his other harem members? You distantly recall that Souji mentioning his previous nakama, but whenever he brought it up during the journey, he had always seemed distant and hesitant to do so.

“Aika, Twoearle…” Souji continues. “I didn’t realize their feelings. I didn’t let them down gently enough. I was too blunt, too headstrong. Sometimes, you can’t do that with love. We got into an argument, lots of screaming and fighting. By the time the dust was cleared, the bonds between us had been severed clean. In the span of a single hour, I had lost my childhood friend and the woman who had served as my mentor. They left, and I didn’t see them for two whole years. If Erina hadn’t been there to support me, I might’ve given up altogether.”

“Wow.” You find yourself saying, “Sorry, man.”

“What do you have to be sorry about?” Souji exclaims. “You weren’t there. Besides…we made up together eventually. If there was anything good the war with the demons did for me, it was letting me reconcile with my old friends. They're nice people. You saw them at the wedding, right?”

Yeah, you remember. The flat chested, blue-twintailed woman and the perverted white-haired one. Both of them had proud, yet sad smiles on their faces back then. Looks like you finally understand why.

“Anyway, that was all in the past. About Hatoko though, she’s your childhood friend, right? I think you should let her down as gently as possible.”

“Why?” Your bro says.

“Because she’s been with you the longest.” Souji says, “Hatoko is sweet and kind. She might not be aware of it, and she might try to deny it, but deep down she may feel entitled to be the only one for you. Because she’s always supported you, her own logic may dictate that she should be the one to spend the rest of your life with. It’s selfish, but isn’t a part of love too? That was how Aika felt back then, anyway.” He raises a hand to her forehead and sighs. “Man, if only I knew that earlier…”

"Yeah, um, about that...We're not trying to let her down. I was kind of hoping maybe we could get everyone to share bro. Am I crazy for thinking that's a viable option for him?"
>>

I think most of us are assuming that the 'letting down' refers to the idea that she ALONE is gonna get him.
>>

“Sounds good.” You say. “So we should tell her bro loves her, but also loves the rest of his harem too?”

“More or less. But the keyword is gently!” Souji declares, wagging a solitary finger to the screen. “The mere notion of sharing her man will cause her to get angry. That’s natural. But you have to use logic and make her see reason. Emphasise how much Tatsuya loves her. That should work, for a start. From there, show her the importance of sharing as much as she can. Hatoko isn’t really all that selfish, though. If you do it correctly, I think she might be open to the concept of being in a harem.”

“You two are making me feel weird over here.” Your bro says. “But it’s good advice. We’ll take it into consideration. Thanks, Souji!”

“No problem. I’ll be rooting for the both of you. Good luck, and you can contact me any time if you need advice!” Souji winks and gives the two of you a salute. Then he cuts the connection. Your bro closes his laptop and turns to face you.

“That’s that.” You say. “Now all we have to do is find the right approach.”

“I have some ideas.” Your bro says. “And some choices. We can do this together, or I can shadow you while you lead. We can tell Hatoko at lunch, leave it till after school or do it tomorrow. Personally speaking, I think we should get this done as soon as possible.”

It'd be hard to get sufficient privacy at school. I'd also kinda recommend starting by laying out the problem and possible solutions to it. Hopefully, she realizes by herself.

Otherwise, it'll sound like we're jamming this down her throat. We want her to see why it must be herself, instead of saying "this is how it will be".

“I think we should go at it together.” You say. Just like how the two of you have always done things. “But only because Hatoko is our childhood friend. Not really sure if it’ll work on the other girls, but it’s worth a try.”

“I had that in mind, too.” Your bro says. “When should we do it, then?”

“After school.” You say. But wouldn’t the other four girls try to interrupt? Well, Ayase was at a different school, which was good. There was no way you’d be able to detect her, if she decided to spy on you. As for the other three…

“We make up some excuse.” Your bro says. “Say, uh…testing how a Marble Phantasm works inside a Reality Marble?”

“Isn’t that something that should be left to scientists?” You reply, frowning.

“Eh, Hatoko is practically a scientist in the field of magic. It’ll work. Trust me.”

So, after school and together. That was the plan you and your best friend had set out, in order to convince Hatoko Kushikawa, your party’s elemental age and your mutual childhood friend. Hopefully she would see reason and agree to sharing your bro with the others. Because you weren’t sure how you would react if she refused.

I figured there would be other anime action heroines around that got knocked out in the fighting and just were too busy with either own shit or not on the groups level, but still not normal.

>>38924121
>we have fangirls, but the only girl I could see us pursuing a romantic relationship with is Syoko
Of course it's the only one you see. She's the only one girl currently that isn't in bros harem. Not exactly a lot of choice at this point in time if you arn't the patient sort.
>>
>>38924308
I could honestly Imagine that one day Kazuya will discard his glasses and nobody will recognize him. So he could probably have normal relationship.
>>
>>38924308
it's more that she's the only girl that we can talk to as an equal that isn't in bro's harem. We've been established as the strongest people in this setting, so unless we go after an angel, demon, dragon, etc. (which would be fucking awesome, by the way, would jump at that) its really either Syoko or someone so boring to us that the relationship would either fail because of that or because they get killed by crazy fangirls
