uhmm... the Blacklake gnomes do some trade with them. Plus we haven't gone to Blacklake yet so wemay get to look around town and then go to visit the orcs. Its a bit of a roundabout way, though.

Standing outside, Ren builds up a spell weapon with an iron button as a core, then hurls it as the target by the walls.

The small empress seems to have no trouble doing so, albeit she does tend to stand on her right foot and reach up, as if she was trying to look taller or just reach higher... well, she and Mako are both on the petite side... but we better make no comment about that.

"I have some copper coins we could use" -says Lyann as she hands you a handful of coins

It sort of works... but the magically created weapons come undone almost immediately after hitting their target. Well, that's probably not a problem. Being a bit cynical about it, as weapons, isn't it better if they leave some shards or whatever inside the target's body?

Now, this is good to have our spells fight armor instead of spell resistance, but it won't help if the target's armor is as good or better, right? we still need a way to pierce armor. It's not a great change.

But options are always a good thing to have.

Once we grow comfortable with this way to use metal spells, perhaps we can start looking into ways to use it with our current tricks.

The little empress takes a few steps back when the large centipede carriage comes into view.

Well, it looks like a monster. Even other monsters keep clear from it, so it wouldn't be fair to expect a little girl to stay cool. She makes a worried face for a moment, but when Mako holds her hand with a nod, quickly calms down.

Well, Mako may have told her about it, as well, so it wasn't a complete surprise.

Its dozens of legs spread the weight evenly, so that even while they all end in pointy ends, they don't really damage the road, albeit they do leave an odd set of tracks on soft ground.

Inside, the passengers cabin is quite luxuriously decorated. Should we call it gaudy? it has red velvet on the walls and doors, and black leather seat.

Well, Okaba decorated it as an after thought. It may just be the standard for him. Or should we blame Aura?

Wonder how they're doing right now. Well, we can send them a message tonight through the linked notebook.

We help Ren, Mako and Lyann into the seats, then almost get pushed aside as Stella and Zoe rush in and happily sit next to Lyann.

Well, when Stella happily grabs out hand and gets in the way, we are about to rebuke her (gently) but Ren gently taps out shoulder with her fan, and shakes her head as she winks at us.

Uhmm... this empress really enjoys being mean to her sister, doesn't she? well, if its just to this extent, I guess its alright. Besides, if we don't keep her on a short leash, Stella is likely to run around and snack on every stand along the road.

She can afford it, of course. She has more than enough money from her dungeon delving, but its not a good idea to have an attractive young woman just running around like that in this world, even if she can certainly defend herself.

Did you know, Stella? your big brother is worried about you going with anyone that offers you bacon. Please grow up healthy and become a fine young woman, alright?

Meanwhile, Lyann seems to have realized whats going on, and lets out a deep sigh.

Stella hasn't noticed that she's being used as a part on a royal bullying plot. She's just happy to be holding hands with her big brother.

As for shopping... we don't really do much of it. Its hard to find a gift for the ruler of a gigantic empire, so this is truly a situation where the intention counts more than the gift.

She seems quite happy with just the pears. She's actually a pretty good girl, you know?

After a while, we hjave walked one way through the main shopping street, and arrived at the border of town, where the nomads tent stretch for hundreds of feet in every direction along the city walls and beyond.

With the end of the school year coming soon, we are about to have two months free. Well, relatively free, anyway.

We still need to help with the elves situation in Yellowleaves, finish our golem, and keep preparing for the error cascade, not to mention preparing a thesis.

In all honesty, we will probably finish our golem before the end of the year, however.

Well, due to the time difference, it is still quite early in Mantequira when we treestride back with the twins.

After thanking them for their time and help, we return to Albion and emerge in our garden's orange tree.

Then we are immediately tackles by Stella and Athena.

Thus, we had a tea party outside.

The eastern grasslands, uhm? many beast men tribes wander the area, That's also roughly the location of the slave pits, depending on how far east you are willing to go.

We briefly entertain the idea of buying and closing such obviously evil business, but honestly, we have our plate full right now.... definitively when the [ERROR] cascade is dealt with, however.

After a while, we go in to finish our golem's legs. We just need to finish the left arm, and it will be ready.

Of course, it sounds easy, but it takes us long enough that it is quite late in the night when we are finally able to go into the bath.

The water is cold, but thats nothing a fire spell won't fix.

Uhmm... perhaps we should invite Ren more often. She seemed quite happy during lunch.

As we leave the bath and go to bed, we can't help but worry about the possibility of the errors already roaming the continent. There was one in the eastern continent, after all.

It seems to have been "recruiting". Who's to say that there isn't such a thing on this continent as well, or in others.

Their numbers may already be growing without us knowing about it.
