You are apart from from the wall, from the firelight.
From the fight.

A single pool of light amongst amongst the night, shadows shifting, twisting with every movement made.

A body falls to the ground, limp and still.
>>
>>38561643

It twists, writhing as the form shifts back to that of a man lying on the scorched earth.

Your breath is ragged. Physical exercise is one thing, pushing so far past you limits that your chitin starts to give out is something else entirely.
You think your joints might be leaking. And one of your legs is cracked. Which is painful.
Everything is painful, actually.

Adrenaline crash is something you were entirely unprepared for.

Sheszka opponent- fur torched and looking far worse for wear- is backing away. A slinking retreat, unable or unwilling to turn its eyes from you. You take a moment to focus your attention on the wolf, turning your face towards it slowly, gulping huge breaths of air as best you can.

It freezes in place, one leg half raised, tail straight back, not even daring to breathe under your eyes.
Behind you, somewhere, the sounds of combat peter out, dwindling away into nothing.

Everything hurts.

>Do something.
>Turn and go back to the wall. You're done with this.
>Hold up your arms. As much as you can, anyway.

But keep an eye on the wolves, then again i might just be paranaoid.

You know, there has to be someone out there with a very good use for a bunch of very loyal werewolf creatures. I'm positive we can find some use for them other than sending them back to the hills. Also we seem quite fucked up and the only reason we aren't on the ground writhing in pain and/or unconscious is likely a mix of divine intervention (god of protection), adrenaline, and an invertebrate style nervous system (invertebrates have a system more on par with the damage control system of a machine than the pain and response system vertebrates have, which is probably great right about now as a vertebrate would probably blackout to avoid further damage to itself).
>>
>>38561979
Werewolf sled-dogs? Who needs a horse when youve got a wolf pack.
>>
>>38561883
>Mom is not going to let you go without a proper heavy training after you can move again.
>Implying we'll ever tell Spidermom how badly we were hurt.

Kek.

We'll stay in the village for a week until we look fine, then tell her it was a minor scuffle with a handful or werebeasts that strayed into Harpy turf.

Hopefully we will be long gone before she learns the truth.
>>
>>38562036
We are so grounded aren't we...
>>
>>38562036
Implying the harpies won't tell our mother what happened, we are so screwed
>>
>>38561979
Well, some of them might yield to us, in that case we'll have to do something with them. I expect a lot of them will just run back where they came from.

Assigning them to protect and serve the village could work. We'd have to talk to the Harpies of course.
>>
>>38562069
What if we threaten to not take the wall down unless nobody tells our mom? Or to have them start again or some other bluff.
>>
>>38561979
Why dont we use them as minions for us while we go out adventuring with caravans?
Cant really think about ambushing a bunch of loaded carts when they are protected by dozens of werewolves and an unbearably overprotective spider that can and will jump into the fray of battle to kill any would be ambushers.
>>
>>38562036
>Hopefully we will be long gone before she learns the truth.

Implying she won't take off with Erics to follow Lyra and beat some more sense into her. Loving motherly advice from Nialla, delivered one blow to the h3ad at a time.
>>
>>38562063
>We are so grounded aren't we...
>We are so going to get beaten into the ground....
FTFY.

>>38562069
>Implying the harpies won't tell our mother what happened
It's not like they fly out to inform her of current events constantly. If we're reaaaly lucky, she won't learn about this until we're half way to the Elflands.
>>
>>38562141
So, were never going home again, not because we'll die horribly somewhere, but because we are too terrified of our own mother.
>>
>>38562141
Maybe, Jin's mother seems to be quite friendly with our mother though, and I don't think well be wanting to leave until we molt at least once, which I have no idea how long that takes. but you might be right
>>38562171
She is the most terrifying monster
>>
>>38562141

I'm thinking that Lia might maybe consider this important enough to tell our Mom about immediately.

Nah..... 30 - 40 years should be fine.
>>
>>38562197
She is the true Spider Queen. Tremble before her might.
>>

"Lyra, come closer"

She puts us in a headlock and beats us into the ground.

I'm thinking we grab Lia and tell her never to speak of this. SHE OWES US DAMMIT!

>>
>>38561654
>DO SOMETHING, GOD DAMNIT!

>>
>>38562289
Yes.We must bring her the suffering equal to our own. She deserves her own moth-herald.
>>
>>38562471
There's always one that takes it to far.
>>
Wow, we finally lost a fight? I've been trying to catch up through the past threads for a while.
>>
>>38562254

It's not just because of our injuries; this was a significant incursion that demonstrates a weakening of the old pacts. This pack might be beaten away, but what if another, probably larger pack just thinks that this one was weak or that WE are enough of a threat to justify a challenge/attack? And what if a group of Arachne or Harpies (more likely the latter) decides to hit back across the river, eye-for-an-eye?
>>
ah jeez oh god I missed the beginning of the thead
>>
>>38562516
We won, anon. It was hard-earned though.
>>
>>38562516

We didn't lose, we broke the Alpha's neck. His body shifted out of wolf form, but he's dead - that's why the fighting stopped.
>>
>>38562516
We won, but we are quite fucked up, running through a hostile wolfpack and getting into a fist fight with a werewolf does that, we suplexed his spine into dust though.
>>
So, what all do we have broken? Just the leg?
>>
>>38562573
Read the OP. It described our condition.
>>
>>38562573
Sounds like a bunch of bleeds and a cracked limb, and probably god knows how many lacerations.
>>
>>38562573

Our arm's been torn up pretty bad, chitin's cracked on it and the leg.

Aside from that mostly just cuts and bruises.
>>
The levels we get from this has me curious, It is the most painful fight we've ever been in.
>>
>>38562623

We also seriously exerted ourselves, and got a massive protection boost from our blessing -

I'd say minimum fifteen, twenty levels, probably more around twenty-five or thirty.

You briefly entertain hoisting your foe overhead, roaring your victory as the enemy forces retreat from your ferocity.

The idea dies before it ever blossoms, though. Your arms refuse to obey. Fingers flex slowly, and your elbows don't quite work the way they should.

But still.
You are not helpless, yes?

You spread your legs as you turn back to the remaining wolves- There is even one a few mere feet behind you, frozen in place just like the other.

While your arms don't work, you don't need them for this.
You yell.
Nothing coherent.

A primal, rising noise echoing through the clearing as your power surges, legs and arms alight.
It's more than the remnants can take.

Some flee, some fall. Some are trampled, others drag or carry limping packmates away from the light.

You snort, hiss. Swaying on your feet, you stomp past the still frozen wolf behind you, half dragging yourself to the wall.
The wall looks a lot taller than you remember.
You manage to halt your advance few inches short, and there's even enough synapses firing in your skull that you open a gate sized hole in it, rather than just dropping the whole thing back into the dirt.

There's people up there, yes.

You're surrounded the second you pass through the wall, people yelling and trying to pat you on the back or maybe grab your butt but it's a spider back there and a skull and not a butt and you're very tired.
Very tired.

So you sit down and go to sleep.

Hissing and blankets and all the others things you can't sleep without.
Your friends, specifically.

Writing!
>>
Voices.
Voices and voices and more voices.
It is dark out. Or you have your eyes closed, and your hair down. There isn't any discernible difference.

The important thing- The only important thing- Is that you are trying to sleep.
And they are interrupting you.
You are a giant spider! You don't have to put up with this sort of treatment!

And so you hiss.
Quietly, at first. But you let the volume grow, ticking ever upwards and working the occasional click into.
You're tired, go away!

Not everything goes as planned, of course.

Someone grabs your face, mushing your cheeks together and turning your attempts at sleep enabling intimidation into some sort of whispery fart noise.
"That is enough of that, little one. Eyes open, yes."

Oh. That's Mom.

You crack an eye open, peering out from behind the sheet of your hair.
Mom seems satisfied that you've started to move. Or at least stopped hissing, and she releases your face, stepping easily around you and prodding your limbs.

You turn your head sleepily, examining your surroundings.
No blankets. No wonder you're uncomfortable.
This isn't a bed. This isn't even a nest. Or a building.

You're sleeping in the middle of the road, in the shade of some wall.
And then your mother prods your arm, and you start all at once, hissing again.

"Stay still, idiot. If you don't like being hurt, try not fighting everything all at once, yes?"
Your mind starts to catch up through the fog of sleep and unconsciousness, liberally assisted by the sharp pain of having your wounds dealt with.

You remember. Werewolves attacked the town. There was the wall and the alpha, and everyone fighting...
"Where is everyone?"
"Asleep, most likely. Or on their wall, and watching the forest."
"Not the village- Sheszka and Jin and-"
"Your friends are fine, little fool. And sleeping, and in much better shape then you."
>>
>>38563477

You consider your cracked chitin, the dull throbbing pain of weariness and bruises. The much sharper pain of torn flesh and worn limbs.
The chitin looks worse than it did last night. Dull coloured. Not as shiny as it should be.
You flex your hand slowly, forming a fist, tightening your grip as hard as you can.

The pain isn't as bad as last night, at least. Your arms are slow and weak, but moving.

"I am shaped like a giant spider, yes."
Mom sighs.
"How are you here?"
"I walked. From the nest, to the town. You do it a few times a week, little one. This isn't hard."

"I meant-"
"I know what you meant, yes. Snark goes both ways, young lady."
She pulls a bandage taut around your upper arm, and you flinch.

So, what did everyone do when we passed out mid-thank-yous?

>>
>>38564209
panic, probably.
our chitin was leaking, right? People probably freaked out and sent someone to find people who knew how to fix spiders
>>
>>38564209
Yeah I mean... why cover a giant spider in blankets or provide medical attention? It's just a monster.
>>
>>38564298
The no medical attention bit i get, I dont think anyone in town would know what to do for our spider bits, but blankets would have been nice
>>
>>38564298
I'm pretty sure the priority was making sure we didn't die, as well as any other probably wounded adventurers, there was combat, people did get injured other than us in all likelyhood, and probably killed as well.
>>
>>38564298
>>38564347
We're used to silk blankets, I don't think the townspeople would have anything that'd be up to our standards. Truly, giant spiders are spoiled rotten.
>>
>>38564209

Well, we may have subconsciously left the furnace on while hissing at them. That may have deterred anyone from trying to treat us or take us indoors. Mom was probably called because she was the only one who could deal with us.
>>
>>38564347
What if the blanket 'fuse' with a potential scab while we sleep and we'd have to remove both. Those people thought our mouth was like the one of a predator after all.

>>
>>38564347
I don't think a cotton blanket is going to do a whole lot of good considering our usual body temperature.
>>
>>38564298
Nin was probably exhausted. She'll have spent the battle fluttering along the wall dosing the wolves trying to climb it. Little Moth was probably at tired as us. In less pain, but tired.

No one else in town would even have a clue how to treat us. They'll have sent a Harpy to fetch Mom ASAP. That was about all they could do.

>>
>>38564536

we didn't establish dominance, so there will be infighting amongst them until a new leader arises, one who hopefully knows to stay away from the town...

>>38564536
The wolves left, it doesn't work that way.
Sheszka 'wanted' a new pack.
>>
>>38564584
Sure, when everyone was living together in one huge city, It even makes sense. She's the leader of the city thus dominant, it would be a great honour for a wolf to be part of the Queens pack and they would make great honour guards.
>>
We also never challenged the leader for a one on one so the moment the fighting started, we pretty much lost the chance we had to gain a bigger pack.

I don't mind since we still need to go adventuring and we can't bring a massive wave of wolves with us everywhere we go or people might think us a conqueror.
>>
>>38564662

No, the average Arachne was an Alpha of at least one wolf

It's how they GOT the fucking things to pretend to be civilized in the first place.
>>
>>38564662
The city was a dumb fucking idea to begin with, any monster city should never have been anything greater than a trade depot, political meeting ground, and tourist destination, as lets face it, putting tens of thousands of incompatible creatures in an enclosed urban space wont work out, putting a hundred or so diplomats and a bunch of merchants and scholars however would be fine.
>>
Mom steps back, and you take it as your cue to start moving. Trying to move. Whatever you can manage, really.
Your legs unfold easily enough, though there's some definite discomfort from your damaged chitin.

You get yourself standing all at once, pushing off the ground, exhaling another breathe as you steady yourself.
Mom has already moved to the opposite side, sliding her arm beneath your own, helping you as best she can.
It's a bit awkward, but it's not something you'll ever complain about.

"Thank you, yes."
"Mmm."
"How did you know to come?"
"Lia sent Jin to fetch me. Why they didn't send anyone before-"
She sighs, turning it into a little growl at the end.

"Pride, always pride. Defending their own land."
"They took my help, yes? And the adventurers, and-"
"Birdbrains, then."

You snort, shaking your head slowly.
"Take me somewhere with blankets, please. And a harpy, and a werewolf, and-"
"Yes, yes."
She steps forwards, alternating her legs with yours, and you scuttle your way through town at a slow clip, leaning on your mother.

The sun is barely starting to rise, creeping over the horizon like a thief.
An exceptionally bright thief. A terrible thief.

It was a bad metaphor.

"I wasn't asleep long, was I?"
"Not too long, little one. They were afraid to move you, yes. Jin was worried. She said you were 'leaking'."
"Mmm. My chitin cracked."
"It will be fine."
"Okay."

"Your little herald-"
You groan.
"Hush, you. She used a lot of dust, yes. And the half-elf had to drag her away to bed."
"They all sleep on me, anyway. They should have brought me blankets."
"Yes. They should have piled people onto an injured, leaking girl who is also apparently on fire, and covered it all with blankets."
>>
>>38564761

"It seemed better in my head, yes."
"I am sure."
She starts to walk a little faster, turning you slowly. Oh, you've reached the guild.

Turning, she gets in front of you, holding your hands and guiding you through the doors backwards.
You wouldn't do that. Probably break something with the skull.
You yawn again, squeezing your eyes and blinking away the tears.
Sleep, sleep. Sleep will be good.

Mom keeps up her current process, glancing over her shoulder and hesitating as she starts to guide you up the stairs towards your friend's apartment. The hall below was mostly empty. They must be out scouting or guarding or whatever. And all the other wolves-

"Where did they go, yes?"
"Who?"
"The wolves."
"Worry when you are healed, please. My heart cannot bear this, yes?"

You dip your head a little.
"Sorry. M'sorry."
"Ah, Lyra."
She steps forwards, dropping your hands and enfolding you in a hug. Tight enough to feel it, cautious enough not to hurt. You return it as best you can, arms slowly folding back around her as you rest your head on her shoulder.

"M'tired."
"Yes, little one."
"Sorry. Love you."
"You did good, yes. Even if I am mad later."
"Mm."
"I love you, dearheart."

She whispers something in your ears you can't quite hear, brushing your hair back in careful strokes, laying a gentle kiss across your brow. Lann's door opens with a single knock, and you're ushered into the small room full of your friends.
You lay yourself across her bed, dragging blankets together to serve as your pillow, and close your eyes.

And of course this quest's spiderfamily is very damn unusual in aggregate, although individual traits appear - i.e. it is rare for part of the family to just self-absorb and have the absolute minimum of communication with the rest (i.e. our spiderbros) but it happens occasionally in this big world.
>>
>>38565037

Younger brother here, my brother and I argue rather regularly and ninety-some percent of our communications are snarking at each other.

The last time someone threatened me he picked the guy up by the neck and choked him until the guy passed out.

It's often very much a "Hey, I'm the only one allowed to do that you fucker!" type scenario.
>>
You manage to sleep well past the sun reaching Lann's little window.
And better yet, you don't bother to get up, or even open your eyes when you wake.

There's something to be said for dozing. Lying carelessly in the sun, enjoying the bone deep warmth, surrounded by friends, the comforting smells of moth dust, harpies, wolves, pork.

Your nose snuffles loudly, and you push your way up to your elbows. It's a bit of a struggle, really. Your upper arms, shoulders, they're all fine. Your chitin feels dull, though. Unresponsive.

No, not that bad. You can move it. But it sort of... crackles. And feels dull.
You move your fingers, splaying them against the bedding slowly.
The sensation isn't all there.

There's a moment of worry before another waft of something that was previously alive reaches your nose, and you distract yourself with breakfast plans.
You are worried- but Mom said it would be okay. So if you just take the day off, it'll be fine.

From everything. Working, hunting, worrying. Other people can do that for you today.

You flip your hair to one side with a toss of your head, and it counters, immediately falling back in front of face.
You call a ceasefire for the time being and turn.

Nin has curled up directly behind you- she apparently stuffed pillows between your skull and chitin.
Jin is in place like there is nothing wrong with the situation at all, snoring lightly and looking peaceful.
Sheszka is down amongst your uninjured legs. She's bandaged a bit, though nothing appears to be too bad.

Ezzy takes a bit of looking.
In the end, you find her beneath Lann's pillow, which is probably a bad place to be but okay at this point in time because there is really no room for the half-elf in her own bed.
>>
>>38565855
She is in the room, though. Propped up in a corner and cocooned in blankets, which makes you kind of jealous.
You'd need to spend all day weaving to have enough blankets for that at this point.
You could just wrap your human bits, but it isn't the same.

Anyway-
You daintily extend one leg across the room, and prod the silk swaddled halfbreed.
"Nng-"
"Lann."
"Mmmnmngm."
"Lann."

"Nnn. What. What?"
"I'm hungry."

Your friend stares at you from beneath sleep lidded eyes. Whether she thinks you an idiot, or just isn't awake enough to process your inane methods isn't something you're sure of at the moment.

"What?"
"I'm hungry, yes?"
"So?"
"I want food."
"Don' have any."
"I don't want to get up."

She's really struggling to wrap her head around this. You feel a little bad, but honestly, the hunger balances it all out.
"Food's downstairs."
"I don't want to get up."
"You... you said that."
"You didn't listen, yes."

"What am I supposed to do about it?"

You groan.
Deep from your heart- No, straight from your soul.
The desperate cry of a hungry spider.
"Laaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnn-"

"Don't you- You are a grown spider monster. I am not responsible for feeding you."
"But Laaaaaaannnnnn-"

You pout, tilting your head so at least a few of your eyes are clear, and unleash your most devastating puppy eyes.

"What are you doing?"

"I am trying to get you to get me food, so I do not have to move, yes?"
"No, that's- I know that. What are you doing right now?"
"Puppy eyes."
"Puppy eyes."
"Are they working?"
"Are they working."
"Yes."

"Are the 'puppy eyes' of a near seven foot tall half spider person, whom I watched snap a wolf near in half- the wolf itself being some sort of giant monster- working."
"Yes."
"Your eyes are pitch black and reflective."
"So?"
"They are not working."

You groan, and flop face first back into the bedding, rolling side to side.
"Laaaaaaaannnn-"

"Cut that out, you-"
"But I'm hunnnnnngry!"
"I am aware. You keep saying it."
"Food!"
"I have seen you eat bears. Bears! I am not going to spend the next few hours ferrying food upstairs until you've glutted yourself and go back to sleep."

"Oh."
"Oh?"
"I just want you to tell someone to bring us food, yes? I have lots of money."
"You're going to make a huge mess of my bed."
"I will just make new sheets then."

She sighs.
"I think I can reach the door from here, yes? We can send Ezzy if you don't want to go-"
There's a hissing protest from under the pillow as Lann starts to laugh.
>>
>>38566994

"You're ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous."
"No. I am Lyra, and a giant spider, and very hungry."
"And the Queen!"
"No. When did you even wake up?"
"I put my antennae under your hair, so I would know when you woke up!"

You sigh, and the moth starts to giggle. Lann frees herself from her blankets, standing half dressed in something resembling pyjamas. Bedshirt?
Nightshirt! That's it.

The halfelf musses your hair in passing, yanking your head around as she mutters.
"You're an idiot, you know that? Yesterday everyone's falling all over themselves scared you're going to die, and now you're harrassing me for food."
She sighs.
There's not much you can say in response to that, really.
"Take better care of yourself, idiot."

She doesn't wait for a reply, yawning behind a hand as she slips out into the hall beyond.

You stretch out a little, lying yourself flat on the bed-
Face down of course.
You'd rather not think about the demolition you'd inflict trying to lie on your back, on a small bed next to a wall in a small apartment.
Probably roll right through the wall and into the street.

You bunch up the blankets again, propping yourself a little higher, and you turn your head to the side. Perfect.

"Nin?"
"Mhmmmmm?"
"You are alright, yes? No jumping off the battlements, trying to to duel wolves or anything?"
"I think you might be confusing the two of us."
"I am thinking that you are not the sort of person to take 'stay back, stay safe' without finding ways around it."
"Are you accusing me? I am nothing if not an honest and honourable-"

"You lie like a rug, yes."
"A rug?"
"The thing on the floor? The fluffy thing."
"It can talk?"
"No, it can't talk."
"Then how would it-"
"It lies on the floor. It is a turn of phrase, yes?"
"Ah. I get it!"
"Mhm."

"So."
"So?"
"What did you do?"
"I thought it would be safer in the air."
"Lots of arrows up there."
"Lots of wolves on the ground."

"I was just- I threw dust around. That is all. The wind was enough that I could get some distance from the wall, and it would fall properly. A bit to keep them slow, or still if they were stupid enough to breathe too much."
"They were plenty stupid, yes."
"Mmm."

"Thank you, yes?"
"Wha-"
"For looking after me."
"I didn't-"
"Mother said you were throwing healing dust everywhere. That Lann had to drag you to bed when you were too tired to go on, yes."
>>
>>38568181
The moth makes some sort of frustrated, embarrassed noise before she buries her head in your back, tugging your hair to try and hide, wings fluttering behind her.
"It is fine, isn't it?"
"You weren't supposed to know!"
"Ridiculous."
"Shush!"

She gets her wings under control eventually.
She stays lying on your back, though.

"How did the fight go for the adventurers, anyways? The harpies, too?"
"Nnn. Not bad. A few injuries for the adventurers. People on the wall who got hit or scratched or bitten. One got pushed off and broke his legs."
"Ouch."
"He will live."
"Lots of wolves hurt. No harpies, though."

"Did they all run?"
"I think a few stayed? Or were left behind? I am not sure."

The door creaks open as Lann returns, and she skips past your legs to reach her corner.
"Cooks busy. A buncha people volunteered, though, so the food'll make it up here, yeah?"
"Mhm?"
"What's this anyway? Spidermoth?"
"Once I take flight, nowhere will be safe, yes."
"While that's probably accurate, I am pleased to inform you that you are way too heavy to fly."

"Why would you be happy to crush my dreams, Lann? Who is the real monster here?"
"You. All of you. You're all monsters."
"I am wounded."
"All over. But the moth and your mom took care of it."

Nin squeaks again, and you laugh, waiting for the smells from downstairs to reach your door.

Ezzy perfected her lying still beneath pillows for warmth skill!
Elle was woken early for bandages and the like, which she considered a minor waste of her talents.
She still churned out more bandages than they could use, and faster than they could put them on people. And then helped out however she could.

Thanks for running.

>She still churned out more bandages than they could use, and faster than they could put them on people. And then helped out however she could.

Obvious thing to do is Elle and Nin (and other moths) collaberate to produce healing powder infused spider silk bandages and wrapping to sell.

No doubt something like that would hold a little bit of value.
>>
>>38568322
It shouldn't be that hard to make. Surely we still understand the concept of lighter than air gases and rising heat. Then we just need a little quality engineering, a lot of silk, and maybe some magic.

>Project Airship
Lann will look upon our creation, awed and terrified at what we have done.

Nowhere is safe. Nothing is beyond the reach of the Spider. A shadow cast upon the world.

"How did you even..... This is impossible. I've never even heard of anything like this. How did you know how to do this?!"

"You said I couldn't fly, yes. So I decided to prove you wrong."
>>
>>38568705
We really should use our Modern World knowledge more. We could do some truly terrifying things with it.
>>
>>38568730
just need to find some gas that's lighter then air, something to hold all of it and just find a small ship to attach it to. Then all we'd need is something to propel it forward but we could probably learn a breeze spell by then.

A gun turret for our spider butt?

Thanks for playing!

Dust loses power fairly quickly, which is why it needs to be jarred to preserve it. Bandages similarly sealed might be possible, but that sort of thing would be required to make use of them.
>>
>>38568730
We're LOOKING for coffee beans, all right?
We just can't find them.
>>
>>38568785
We could make a sort of gatling musket at most. Gunpowder is a simple enough recipe, but we don't have the fine engineering necessary to create cased ammunition or the hydraulics for a turret.
>>
>>38568487
>Ezzy perfected her lying still beneath pillows for warmth skill!
Her bask game is WEAK
>>
>>38568881
We could also build a simple steam engine.

That works, dust goes stale. Guess it would be a question if having bandages infused with dust would help with healing, or have the same effect.

Hard thing to do a scientific study on.

>>38568881

Could use gun cotton for brown powder or other things. However guns are not worth as much with current power levels in the setting.

Better to give Lann a chair and we have our rear firing turret.

Lizards when?

>gas that's lighter then air
Hot air is the way to go.

Magic heat stones and wind stones make hot air ballooning easy as anything.

How big of an airship are you thinking of here? What I'm thinking of will work fine.

Start small anon. We can think about bigger projects after we've worked out the bugs on the smaller scale and if/when we find the gas resources needed.

You're all forgetting, we can literally use magic to supplement all the bullshit tech we don't know, we literally are using the future tech we know to allow novel creations nobody knows how to counter.

Lewd dust artillery shells. The horrors of the trenches just got a completely new meaning.
>>
>>38569489
My god... we could literally make gay bombs... Or at a minimum give an enemy army awkward boners for a few minutes at the very least, which would definitely be combat inhibiting simply because everyone would be trying to cover it up...
>>
to speak of the future, I wonder how long our aunt will laugh when and if we meet her

>Ezzy perfected her lying still beneath pillows for warmth skill!

We really need to find out what she's good at.
>>
>>38569761

Sounds like if we want her to level, she really needs to practice hunting on her own.

Or spider assisted hunting.
>>
>>38569823
We could hand her over to Dad and Sarah for a few days. Maybe they'd be able to introduce her to an academic subject she likes?
>>
>>38570454

Well she does like to read. She has tiny books for tiny snakes.

Maybe her, Nin and Sarah can start a book club for monsters.
>>
>>38570573
I'm sure Lyra would join as well if they have interesting book. And a treadmill, to keep the rest of her body busy while she reads.

what?
where.
when?

Also, is it kosher that we have pillows in the space between skull and chitin? that seems like they'd get stuck
