"A-anyway,"

The blushing girl turns away in a pointless attempt to hide the embarrassed flush on her face. To think, all you did was give her a light peck on the cheek and she reacts like this. And to think, all she's managing is making you want to turn up the heat. After all, there are so many things you could show her.

"If my guess is right, then we really do need to hurry."

Right. You can tease her more after you're done here, and far away from this weird town full of weird gi-

"Wait," How did you even manage to forget this part? "Won't they still be looking for us? We've only been waiting for... uhm..."

You might have completely lost track of time.

"Definitely." Andrea's response turns far more firm now that the topic is back to the business at hand. Back in her comfort zone. "But, if I'm right, then I won't be able to help you against HER anyway..."

Your thoughts briefly flicker back to the strange knife she presented you with just moments earlier, already having founds its way strapped neatly on your left arm. For as long as you've known Andrea, she has despised all acts of violence, but now she personally instructs you to use this, 'if you have to'.

"So I suppose I won't have to save my energy. I'll get us there in no time. Oh! Speaking of that, uhm... Could you look away now?"

She never did let you see her "transform." As far as you can tell it's more like a change of clothes, but apparently it's a necessary requirement before she can practice any magic. You couldn't imagine why.

"What if I really want to see, hmm?"

"Wha-?" She nearly screeches in response, raising her arms in front of her as if to cover herself. "Aya, that's really personal!"

You fight to suppress your glee. You really shouldn't be like this, surely she deserves better than to have you constantly teasing her. But you just can't seem to help yourself. Especially since you really are a little curious.

"You shouldn't be so shy with me! Not anymore, right?" The words almost dance from your mouth. Maybe you wanted this even more than you thought. She probably just making a big deal out of nothing, but why don't you deserve to see at least once?

Andrea, for her part, lowers her gaze in deep thought, apparently considering your words for quite a while as she looks up at you and back down repeatedly.

"Well..."

Finally, she locks eyes with you, forcing a weak smile. "I shouldn't try to hide anything from you now, right? Not if we're going to be..."

Those last words seem to get lost in a sudden and very brief fit of coughing.

"Anyway, we're wasting time!" She takes a deep breath before folding her hands before her, a faint blue glow immediately appearing around them.

You're a little surprised, if you're honest. You didn't think she'd actually do it, you were just expecting to tease her a bit! But now that it's happening, you can't seem to take your eyes away.

Little more than a moment later the glow grows to be more akin to that of a small star, completely filling the room and yet somehow not blinding you even as no more than a silhouette of Andrea is left in your vision. In fact, the brilliant light seems quite pleasant to you, filling you with a sense of safety and peace not unlike the one you felt in her embrace.

That feeling is quickly replaced by an entirely different one however, as the dress on the silhouette evaporates in an instant, leaving you with a full view of... Well, if you had known about this part you wouldn't have asked!

Though you are more than happy with the view, of course!

Fortunately for your heartbeat, it is only a brief show as a new dress quickly wraps itself around her shape, from the from the slim shoulders and chest that you've always envied a little, all the way down to her feet, finishing the outfit off with the most adorable pair of sandals, complete with a small flower on each.

As the glow fades and colors other than blue return to your sight, you fully recognize the outfit. This part you've seen before, after all. The peculiar way it shifts from white at the top to blue at the bottom, the eerie way it seems to flow even without the wind to carry it, and the way her hair and eyes seem to sparkle just a little more than they usually do.

Finally, she presents you a cheerful curtsy, the embarrassment seemingly having lifted completely from her in the process.

"Ta-dah!"

She smiles at you expectantly. She... wants you to comment?

"That was, well... uhm..."

She tilts her head curiously, her smile beginning to fade. You quickly push out an answer before she can turn that smile upside down.

"What's the word above beautiful?"

In return Andrea giggles softly, relief clearly visible on her face. "I'm glad to have shared that now."

You're surprised she's so casual about this now. But then, you'll both have to get used to sharing. Even that.

"Remind me," You don't quite manage to hide your smirk as the words roll out on their own. "that I owe you a show when this is over."

"Hm?" Sensing the shift in topic, she turns to the wall still missing its door, places a hand on it and, with a gentle push, somehow slides a door-shaped section of the wall open only for the shape to turn back into the door before your eyes. "Some kind of trick?"

Peeking out of the doorway, she glances in both directions before signaling for you to follow. You do so, even as you lick your lips in expectation of the reward of your teasing. "You could certainly call it that..."

Andrea sets a quick pace down the hallway that puts your short legs to work immediately, seemingly unfazed by your comment. "That sounds lovely. I look forward to it!"

You'll have to remember to be more blunt next time. It's not teasing if she doesn't realize you're doing it! What kind of tricks do you even know that would impress someone like her? You should probably just drop this one and change the topic before you make more promises you don't know how to keep.

"So uh, how exactly are you-"
"GOT YOU!"

The shrill scream takes you completely by surprise, as a familiar sight springs from around the corner. Wasn't she supposed to be in bed?

Andrea on the other hand, spares the angry girl only a minimum of attention as she launches into an aggressive tirade.

"I knew you weren't working alone! But I won't let you bring your evil plans to..."

Valerie trails off as her eyes take on a weak blue glow.

"I should be in school. Bye!"

And just like that, the girl turns and runs off, giving you a cheerful wave as she departs.

You have to admit to some concern about this. Sure, Valerie was a royal pain, but you're not sure you'd want something like that.

"Will... will she be okay? How long does it last?"

Andrea immediately launches into the same quick pace, prompting you to give chase. "Suggestions can be harmful if they defy the apparent reality. The mind tries to bridge the gap between the suggestion and the victim's perceptions. When the suggestion wears off, those bridges tend to result in certain... quirks. In this case, it should be perfectly safe."

That's a rather cold way to put it! "Ahem, -should- be?"

Her response is immediate, almost mechanical. "Yes."

Is this still your Andrea at all? "Are you sure that's... ethical?"

Exiting the stadium, you come upon the streets, now quiet and empty, at least right here. Andrea does not stop to look, immediately turning to the left and leading you back through the streets. Rising above the roofs you see the obvious destination, the almost ridiculously girly pink castle. "I am completely certain that it is not.

"But then why-"

Finally she stops, giving you a chance to catch up fully. She turns her head, a determined and, quite honestly, unsettling glare in her eyes. "I am making an exception."

Even as a pair of seemingly identical black-haired girls spring from behind a fence behind her Andrea keeps her focus entirely on you. Regardless, the same blue glow appears in their eyes and they stroll past you hand in hand.

"For you."

You don't like this at all. Your Andrea is gentle and caring. Your Andrea wouldn't hurt a fly! And if this is what you turn her into...

"Please don't. I don't want you to do this, not for me or anyone else!"

She promptly ignores your request and continues on her way.

"It's necess-"
"Please!"

You leap after her, catching her left hand with your right to effectively halt her pace. She casts a glance down at your hand, then raises her gaze to give you an annoyed glare. Save for the unnaturally blue eyes, you're reminded of the same glare your 'mother' would give you after reading the latest notice received from your school. You feel yourself begin to shake involuntarily. Whether at her or the memory you're not certain.

"Andrea, please. You're scaring me."

Blinking several times in rapid succession, the unsettling glow finally disappears as her features soften, returning a glimpse of the gentle caregiver. She looks down at your hand, and her hand, once more, then gives a slight nod.

"You're right. This will be much faster."

"Wha-? What are you talking abooooouuu-" Before you can finish, you feel yourself lifted off the ground, tugged along in her hand. Immediately, you bring your other hand up to tighten your grip as you watch the ground below growing more distant and the wind growing in intensity around you as she picks up speed.

"Great thinking, Aya! I don't know how I didn't think of this!" She calls back towards you.

You'd probably take the compliment with grace, had you not been screaming in terror. It would have been a great idea after all, if not for your intense fear of heights that you never mentioned to her. You close your eyes, but the feeling of the wind, and the lack of feeling of the ground, still leaves you as terrified as you were.

"And there we go! Ready to set back down?"

From her optimistic tone you can only guess that she hasn't actually heard you. You do feel the wind slowing however and, calling up all of your willpower, manage to silence yourself. A few moments later, you feel the ground welcoming your feet, and you open your eyes to the great pink castle, now just a few steps in front of you.

At least you're still outside. That's slightly better when you fall down on all four, quickly losing your grip on your breakfast. Fortunately, Andrea is by your side immediately, saving you from making a horrible mess of your hair.

"What happened to you? Are you okay?"

A few gentle pats on the back later you manage to cough out a response.

"My fault. Should've told you I'm terrified of heights."

"Eh?" She pats you one more time, harder, and you confirm that you're done. "You were never afraid of- oh. Ohhh. Crud."

You turn your head to look up at her face, a worried frown weighing down her features.

"What are you talking about? What's wrong?"

Noticing your stare, she quickly shakes away the frown. "Forget it, it's nothing!"

She offers her hand to help you get back up, which you gladly take as you realize that you're still shaking from the experience. "Come on, let's go finish this."

Slowly now, she leads you inside the castle through the strangely unguarded and wide open gate. Strange, you note. You've seen better protected public toilets.

"Andrea, why exactly is it that you think you can't help me with the mistress?"

The inside of the castle is, thankfully, not pink. Instead, you're met with smooth white walls adorned with seemingly endless rows of flowers. "Well, the simplest way to put it," She begins as she leads you down the great hall that you devise, mainly thanks to the oversized chair at the far end, must be a throne room.

A blond girl girl with an unreasonably wide smile, as far as you can tell the only other person actually attending this room, leaps from her chair beside the throne and rushes to your side. "The mistress is resting at the moment, but she'll see you in her private chambers!" She points towards a narrow hallway on your left.

"Uhh, thanks?" You offer. In response, the girl gives you an exaggerated bow before returning to her seat. Still steadying yourself, Andrea continues to lead you in the same direction. The hallway is short, and offers you only a single door. At least you don't get lost on the way. "I guess would be to say, that I suspect she's mine too."

"She's what now?" You begin, as the door now immediately in front of you swings open of its own accord and a voice calls from within. "You're early, Ayaka! But come on in regardless."

A light shove from Andrea leaves you with little choice in the matter, instead providing you with a softly whispered "good luck."

The mistress' private chamber is a brutal revenge of the pink, an enormous four poster bed taking the center stage, the litter of pillows and blankets reminding you of a certain encounter at a certain school. From among the scattered heap, a head finally springs forth, followed by the rest of the tiny body.

"My new home?" Your tone easily betrays your confusion. "Why would I ever want to live here?"

Finally done freeing herself completely from the pile of blankets and pillows, the nightdress-clad girl sits herself down on the edge of the bed, tilting her head quizzically.

"Don't you like it? I made it just for you to be everything you could ever wish for!"

Glancing behind you, you see Andrea peeking out from behind the door, her eyes betraying her fear. Of the girl, you assume.

"I think you may be a decade too late. Everything here screams little girl. You realize I'm an adult, right?"

The strange girl's response, annoyingly, is to burst into laughter at your statement. You find yourself snarling slightly in annoyance.

"Sure, we can pretend if you like. But it doesn't matter, because we'll fix that as soon as I've finished recovering anyway!"
"...fix?"
"Of course! You'll be much happier that way, right? Children don't have to worry about all the stuff you do, everything is much simpler! And, best of all, you'll fit right in here! Haven't you always wanted that?"

Well, you have, but... You shake your head in disbelief. She can't be serious, she's clearly insane.

"Just... who are you?"

The girl exaggerates a pout at this. "You don't even know me? Andrea never even told you about me after all I've done for her? How insulting! I'm the one who brings happiness to young girls everywhere! The mighty and divine who gives care to those most in need! Even you!"

Wait, does she mean... Andrea did tell you once, that her magic came from some kind of pact she made. That, in exchange for the powers she had to do the will of her mistress, 'bringing happiness to young girls everywhere'. But then that means...

"You're Andrea's god?"

Letting go of the pose, the girl instead gives a light shrug. "Well, an avatar anyway. Almost as good!"

"Why did you steal my soul? How is that helping me?"

She gives you a wide grin, as if the answer was somehow supposed to make you laugh. "This way, you can't make the wrong choice again! Doesn't that comfort you?"

This girl has a strange sense of humour. And morality for that matter. "That's coercion."

She leans forward, somehow managing to stretch that grin even wider. "Maybe that's what you need, hmm?"

Have you just stumbled upon the tiniest parent in the world?

"And what gives you the right to decide what makes me happy?"

In response, the girl rolls her eyes at you mockingly. "Don't you remember? You asked me to, stupid! To be exact, your wish was to be happy, and to be far away." She spreads her arms out, welcoming. "It took me a while, but it's finally ready! This is where you'll be happy, and it's far away!"

"And if I don't want this?"

She pulls her arms back down, frowning at your question. "That would be bad. I used your soul to build this, see, so as long as you stay here you're fine, but if you leave..."

She lets out a cheerful giggle.

"Poof!"

Suddenly, the girl perks up, directing her attention past you. "Oh, Andrea you're here too! Great! Don't worry, just a while longer and I'll fix this mistake of yours! It's all going to be great!"

Andrea immediately enters the room as commanded with her head bowed, only raising her gaze momentarily to give you a shy smile while pointing to her left arm. The knife, you still have that. She wants you to... stab her god? Though, she did say, only if you needed to.

It is an option, however.

You shake your head, trying to display disappointment with the faint hope that divine little girls are affected by that as much as the regular ones.

"I don't want any of this. Maybe I would have wanted this when I was a stupid little girl, suffering a shitty life. But that's not who I am any more. I have a purpose in life, I have a family I love, I have a girlfriend to help me through tough times. I'm neither a little girl nor a suffering one. So, please explain why you're still intent on following through with this plan to trap me here, because it's certainly not to help me!"

The girl sighs heavily, taking her smiling eyes off of Andrea and instead turning to give you an angry glare.

"Fine! You don't want to cooperate, that's just too bad! You got me, I don't want to help you at all! I think you're a bad person and you don't deserve any of this!"

She jumps off of the bed, walking over to you in confident strides, somehow managing to make you feel like the small one.

"But guess what, this is the only way I can fix her mistake, so if this is what it takes then fine, you get to stay here instead of the hell you deserve!"

You can almost imagine yourself shrinking before this verbal assault. You've had much worse, obviously, but somehow her words seem to weigh more than any of those. Still, you should defend yourself, give her back as bad as she hands them out. Except you're not sure how. Instead, you barely manage a whimpering response.

"I'm not a mistake."

The girl looks you over for a moment, before finally turning toward Andrea. "Why don't you explain yourself, Andrea? Tell her what you've been hiding from her?"

Andrea, finally making her first sound since she left you at the door, draws a long sigh as she tries to collect her words.

>"Please, I don't understand at all"

>I have no idea why we need a turn indicator but I don't like it, no sir.

It's just there to remind you that the clock is ticking. I probably didn't clarify enough at the beginning. Let me explain.

The loli god intends to seal the deal when she has recovered her strength. That is, if you haven't convinced her otherwise yet, whichever way you choose to do it. I'm not going to tell you exactly how much time you have of course, that would take away the tension. There's a reason I gave you an emergency exit. It's not the good solution, but it's there if you need it. Think of it like a game of chicken.

Look out for the warning signs, they'll appear eventually if we keep going too long.

>Turn 3

You summon up as much courage as you can muster to give Andrea the supportive smile you know you'd need in her position.

"Don't worry, you can tell me anything, I won't love you any less."

Once more she draws a heavy sigh, and a third time, before finally locking eyes with you. "You're supposed to be dead."

You're what now?

"Remember, I told you about when I first met you? On top of that roof?"

You actually don't remember much. You remember the cold, you remember your sister being there. You don't remember Andrea at all, but she says she was there.

"I said I was there to recruit you, but then I didn't. Because you had your sister, right? Well, what I didn't tell you is the part where..."

She gulps hard, struggling to force the words out.

"The part where you jumped. I uhm, I made you forget that. I thought it was better, I thought that way it would be easier for you to move on."

You blink. Then again.

You did that? You don't remember at all?

"And I don't regret it at all!" You get the feeling that part isn't directed at you. "Everybody deserves help, everybody can get back up when they fall if you just help them! And everybody deserves to be loved!"

The girl, meanwhile, has laid herself back on the bed, not even bothering to look up when she addresses the both of you.

"That's not the point, stupid. Don't tell me you still haven't figured it out!"

She shakes her head slowly. "No I... I understand it now. I didn't before, but..."

The girl waves a hand casually, still not bothering to look at you. "Go on."

>>
>>38526684
"The real mistake was..." She turns away from you before continuing. "I was there too early. I understand it now. To become one of us, you need a tragic loss. That way, you won't look back, and you'll turn that loss to trying to make the world better, make sure others don't have to suffer."

"And you were supposed to be the tragic loss."

You're not sure what to say. You're not sure you believe what you're hearing at all. But why would Andrea lie? As is, you only just push out a whisper.

"You mean..."

"Your sister." She finishes the sentence for you. "She's smart, she would have had motivation, she would have done great."

This is when the girl springs back up into a seated position.

"She will. That's what we're fixing today! And since I'm not allowed to kill or harm you, you'll just have to disappear to right here, in your own little paradise. Lucky you!"

She gives you another glare. "So you see, everybody wins! You get to be happy here, Andrea gets the sister she always wanted and she won't have you making her unhappy, your sister gets a much better sister, and all the poor girls she'll help in the future get to be happy! How could you possibly say no to that?"

>How can you say no? (Write-in!)
>Submit. It's better for everyone...
>Stab her, no need to argue that way.
>>
>>38526710
>I don't think so. Andrea would never be happier your way. And my sister will do much better with two sisters than one. As for the job, I'll let my impeccable record speak for itself.
>So, you've explained why I'm here and what this is all about, but this still doesn't tell me why you dislike me so much. It can't be just because I didn't die when I should, surely?"
And now I MUST sleep. Hope you can steer us safely ashore anons!
>>
>>38526710
>"So, I fucked up, because I was a sad little girl with an abusive boyfriend and no famil members I could rely on. And then I got un-fucked somehow, and went on to turn my life around. You're still gonna hold that against me?"
>"If my death is causing problems, then tell me and I'll make my decision from that. But if you have some stupid grudge going then I'm not gonna just lay down and accept my fate or whatever."
>>
>>38526710
>Why does my sister have to suffer for this? What did she do to deserve having her sister ripped away from her? Yes, I've been a bad sister to her. I'm not going to deny it. But I've 'tried't to do better. To be the sister she deserves, and make other little girls like her happier to make up for what I did. And now you want me to throw all that effort away, to see her hurt even worse than I already have, for what? Have I not done good enough? I might not deserve better, but surely she does.

>>
>>38526710
>I understand if you want to punish me for my wrongdoings. But Nina has done nothing to deserve more pain. Let me go back to do my job, and I'm sure I have done decent enough sofar, if not for my sake, then at least for Ninas. She should be happy with her own life.

>Turn 4

You've received a lot of flak through your life. A lot of hate from parents, from teachers, from fellow students. You probably deserved a lot of it, if you're perfectly honest. But you always stood back up to defend yourself. Sure, this time you're taking it from some goddess of little girls, but as far as you're concerned she no more right to judge you than anyone else. And so you stand up as tall as you can.

"I don't think you're right. Andrea and I are happy together. If you take that from us, you're only harming us both. My sister and I are happy together. If you take that from us, we'd both be unhappy. And I happen to know Nina will be bursting with joy when she has two sisters from now on."

At this, Andrea springs to attention, turning her tear-stained face to you, a hopeful smile on her lips. "You.. you'd want me to..?"

"And so would Andrea." You finish even as you have to weather the full force of Andrea locking herself tight around you.

The girl is less pleased, clenching both of her hands as she stares angrily at you. "Even so, what about all those who won't be-"

"You think we can help fewer girls just by not being happy? Really? You think a devastated Andrea and Nina can do more good than we could do together, happy? Where do you get that stupid idea? Nobody does anything better when they're not happy! Do you?"

"I-I've never been ha-"

"Exactly!"

The girl stares at you for a long while, shifting between several times between angry and confused. Finally, she slowly moves over to sit herself again the post of the bed as she hugs her own legs.

"I don't know what to do."

Unwrapping yourself from the still sobbing proves to be a bit of a challenge, but with a soft nod in the direction of the girl you manage to convince her that someone else needs you right now. As silently as you can, you stroll over and sit yourself down on the bed beside her. She regards you with a quick glance, her eyes shining in a, for once today, completely natural way, before burying her face between her knees.

"Why are you not happy?"

With lightning speed the girl stands back up, grabbing the closest pillow and swings it right at your face. You do not try to dodge.

"Happy?" She screams at you, before hitting you across the face a second time as tears begins to run down her face.

"How could I possibly? Do you have any idea how much suffering is still out there? And this is the part of the world where they have it good!"

For the third time she takes a swing at you. It's just a pillow, but she is a lot stronger than she appears and it is actually beginning to sting.

"Every single moment I am failing them all! How can I be happy with that!"

She lines up for yet another swing. Deciding you'd rather not, you react quickly to instead pull her into your arms. The thought strikes you that the girl is probably thousands of years old, but... She responds exactly as any other would have, softly pushing closer against your chest as she begins to sob into your shirt.

"And now... Now I don't even know if I'm doing the right thing! Maybe I've just been making it worse all the time! So what am I supposed to do? Tell me! Tell me what's right! Tell me now!"

Andrea, meanwhile, can do nothing but stare in awe with her mouth agape at what she is seeing. That's not good enough, you think, so wave her over, to which she can only comply.

"Tell me!" The girl cries again.

>>
>>38530309
Finally understanding your intention, Andrea sits down beside you as well and, as you open your arms to reveal the sobbing god, promptly wraps her arms around the both of you. With that in order, you finish what you started, embracing the both of them to close the slightly awkward group hug.

"You don't have to be perfect," You try to assume a lecturing voice, but Andrea's snicker alerts you your poor performance and you quickly switch back to your regular voice. "You made a mistake, but that's okay. Just try your best to make it better, and to not make the mistake again. That's what I've been doing all my life."

The soft sobbing from between the two of you let's you know that the girl is still alive and listening, but you do have to wait several moments of her wiping her face in your shirt before she finally asks to be released, a wish your tired arms are only too happy to fulfil, revealing a set of dry eyes and a soft smile.

"I understand it now. Thanks, A... Nee-chan." She looks around her, quickly. "Nee-chans."

"But... what should I do with this place now?"

>She should keep it! Lots of girls are happy to stay here!
>She should destroy it, return the girls to where they belong!

Is happiness in an artificial world true happiness? Perhaps they would be happier in the real world, overcoming hardships by helping each other just as you have, and just as Heidi and Valerie used to.

Marche isn't here, so it's okay for me to present the argument myself, right?
>>
>>38530759
>Is happiness in an artificial world true happiness?
I see no reason why it wouldn't be. Obviously a live somewhere else might e more fulfilling, but I remember we were told some of them fled from being hunted and the like, so having a sanctuary seems perfectly okay to me.
Obviously they shouldn't be forced to live here, but I thought that was self-evident.
>>

[Loli Talker Diplomancer Ending]

>>38531723
Your legs are aching. You're sweating, the sun beating against the side of your face. You've been in this car for too long. Andrea took over the driving over an hour ago, but between the blinding sun burning straight through your sunglasses and the noise of your baby sister in the back playing with that May girl (she just had to to get that little bowl of crazy transferred to her own school, didn't she?), you're fairly certain sleep is a lost cause. But you'll have to suffer through the pain. You wanted to do this, after all.

Already several months had passed, your sister returning to school exactly as you ordered. Sure, you missed her a lot of the time, but you're not going to let her throw away all of that potential. You're sure she'll thank you when she's older and can become exactly the person she wants to be. For now, she'll at least accept that Nee-chan knows best.

Still, Summer came around and with it came the myriad opportunities to take her anywhere she wanted. You were prepared for her to choose a destination in the opposite end of the country. It was only natural, the girl is way too smart to pass up the opportunity. You didn't expect her to ask to bring the entire school, but you did manage to bargain with her until she agreed to bring just one friend. It only occurred to you later that you had, once again, played right into her hands.

So here you are, speeding through the godforsaken desert, you're thirsty, you're sleep deprived, and you've needed to pee for more miles now than you care to know. The next town can't come soon enough.

And the screeching halt that Andrea just made isn't going to help that problem. "Ayaka, trouble."

You let out a protesting groan as you slowly slide your eyes open to see exactly what you wanted. Civilization! And more importantly, toilets! Wait, what is-

Why is that man running screaming from a small band of overly cheerful little girls? You can only stare in awe as the front runner leaps, grabbing hold of the man's leg and sending him face first to the ground. The remaining four quickly follow suit, cuddling themselves up against the poor man, completely obscuring him from your sight. A few moments later, the six girls stand back up, cheerfully skipping back into town. The man is nowhere to be seen.

Wait. Six? You glance over at Andrea who has taken on a worried frown. "For real?"

She nods. "Do you want me to-"

"No. Get the kids out of here, I'll get to work."

You let out a long sigh, making sure everyone present is fully aware of your annoyance, before turning back to the girls who look back at you, expectantly. "Looks like we just lost the day, but don't worry, we'll get there eventually. I'll have this handled in no time." Fortunately, they both know better than to complain at this point and you step out of the car with nothing but silent nods.

Opening the trunk you reveal the myriad gadgets you've assembled over the months with a bit of help from Andrea's magic. Antidote grenades, you'll definitely need. 'Cootie' sprays, might be useful, the good old marbles, still three left, ah hell, you'll just grab it all. It's your vacation, you're allowed to have fun.

You slam the trunk shut and knock twice on the car. Understanding the signal, Andrea makes a sharp U-turn and is on her way to safety with the girls. Silently you curse your luck, do a quick scan of your gear making sure everything is in order, then set off at a slow pace towards the town. At least it's not too big.

You still need to pee.

Oh, well I suppose I don't mind revealing that.

>Stabbing
The easy solution to a difficult problem. Andrea gave it to you because she believed it would work. And it would have. The avatar would have been destroyed, though this is nothing more than a bother to the actual goddess this particular avatar was the one holding unto your soul, and the one keeping the pocket dimension up. Her destruction would have returned your soul to where it belongs, as Andrea would have wanted. At the same time, the pocket dimension would collapse, immediately expelling the inhabitants back to the location they entered from. Finally, Andrea would have lost all of her magic because she betrayed her god. She would then go on to pick up self-learned witchcraft, something significantly more demanding in terms of preparation compared to magical girl-ness, but she makes it work. Ayaka sometimes feels guilty knowing what Andrea sacrificed for her, but Andrea insists she would do it again and again. That's about the extent of loli god's wrath, as she is still strictly forbidden from killing or harming anyone, as she mentioned. The diplomancer ending was basically this one, except you had control of the variables and Andrea sacrifices nothing.

>Bad End
The other hard ending is either submitting or running out of time and having her seal the deal manually. This is the "bad end" and would instead explore the life of a young girl living her life in said pocket dimension and not remembering ever having lived anywhere else. She's pretty happy, she has great friends to play with, she's admired for her great sports performances in the stadium, basically she has everything she could wish for. And yet, every night she goes to bed, feeling as if something, or maybe someone, is missing but she can't quite place what it is. Oh, and I have no interest in running an epilogue for this one, so I'm glad you had the sense not to jump head first into loli paradise.

You could have adopted the god loli as well, had you simply suggested it, even in jest. She would have said yes, basically dedicating that one avatar (she does have many of them, because gods aren't bound to a single form) to being the best imouto and learning more about the human relations she came to realize she had fallen out of touch with.

She would never actually BE the best imouto, of course, but you'd let her believe she actually had a fighting chance.

Oh, of course! See, as I see it you all went with very reasonable approaches, trying to logically disprove her arguments. And that worked, not because she is reasonable, (she isn't particularly reasonable) but because this exposed to her the possibility that what she's doing is wrong and that devastated her. She's a deity of joy and giving care, so those things are what her desires center around. Not doing as much good as she possibly could is basically her worst nightmare. Ultimately, she's actually an amazingly nice person who just didn't quite see things your way. Of course, there's not a single character in the quest who wasn't actually a very nice person who just doesn't quite see eye to eye with you. That's only to be expected!

Anyway, what I would have done, which probably had a lot to do with me knowing for sure that she was very much a little girl in addition to the whole deity part, and that she is not a being of pure logic despite her utilitarian approach, was go straight into the feelings game. First, I would have asked if she has ever been unhappy, which is a point I proceeded to steer you towards regardless (and you took it, much to my joy!) and I would have asked her if she has a sister herself. My essential strategy, to make her miss the sister she's never even had, and then provide that sister, even for just a moment.

I like both approaches.

Thanks for responding. It's interesting to look back at all the what-if's and could-have-been's. Kinda bummed we didn't get a divine imouto, but still a great conclusion to this chapter.

Over enough for me to move on to my other ideas, but still open enough that I can continue in the future. The main plot points are closed, but I still have others to pursue, such as finding out what happened to Andrea's sister, reconciling Nee-chan with her parents, standard relationship bumps... And several ideas for shorter encounters with supernatural encounters.

Which is exactly the direction I'd want to take the quest in the future. Forgetting having a main plot to resolve and instead going for a "monster of the week" approach. Essentially I'd want this quest to become Supernatural (the early seasons) except with lolis and cute lesbians.

So that's why I call this the end of the quest, even though I can and probably will continue it. Because it'd be more like a sequel/spinoff of itself.

I know I can't really expect you guys to not lose interest waiting for something indefinitely, but it's how I'll do anyway. I have other ideas that keep distracting me and that I really want to run.
