You look back down at your men and decide to give them more time.

"Men! Change in time! You have 2 hours to get ready! Now get to work! Kemos your with me. Lets go."

Your men get back to work as Kemos walks up to you and salutes before falling next to you as you walk away. You walk down the hall to the training room and as you walk in you see Holsten with a power axe bringing it down on a recruit on the floor. He stops it inches from from the recruits helmet before putting over his soldier and putting out a hand. As the recruit gets up Holsten laughs heartily.

"Ah lad maybe next time you can get somewhere against ol Holsten. Dont worry about losin, you've gotten alot better since last time. As for the rest of ya good job! Try harder and you'll be the best soldiers in no time! Now back to target practice!"

The recruits all salute then grab their guns and go back to target practice, where you see their aim has improved immensely and see Amelia using slugs on her shotgun. Holsten walks over to you and laughs again before putting a hand on your shoulder.

"Nice to see ya Alive lass! Thought you were outta commision almost permanently! You need anything?"

You step past Holsten and snap your fingers.

"Recruits. Form up."

The recruits stop what they are doing and line up in front of you. Though they show no emotion as they are supposed to, you still see slight fear in their eyes...except for Amelia, who keeps her cocly grin.

"I see you all have gotten alot better lately under Holsten's tutorage. Good because soon you will be going to war and fighting on the actual battlefield. But first..."

You heft your mace.

"You have to duel me."

Without hesitation the recruits grab their weapons and form up ready to fight. You see a mix of determination and fear in their eyes. One, the one you made sure was healed, charges you first, sword in hand and goes for a downward cut that is almost moving in slow motion. You block with your mace before hitting him back, your mace turned off and your hit "light". The recruit flies back and as he does the rest charge you.

You easily beat the recruits, though you do it gracefully and less serious, knocking their weapons out of their hands then knocking them back or down "lightly" with your mace. After all the others are down all thats left is Amelia, who you beat simply by hitting her exposed torso. After you win you order them to all form back up. You assess that they were all good, alot better than last time, but they left themselves open.

"You've gotten alot better recruits. I praise each and every one of you on your improvement and skill. You even had the bravery to charge me, which i admit is alot better than before. But you left yourselves open to attack. Your defense was slightly subpar. Get better in than one area and soon you will be the best you can be! Duel each other and train in melee for now. When you are at your best i will duel you all again."

The recruits salute you and then get to work, but not before amelia comes up to you, blue lips smiling.

"What? Your not gonna flog us for losing? Your not goin soft are ya commander?"
