Hey all, don’t know how late I’ll run, but we’ll see. Other than that, nothing big, let me know if you see anything wrong in the pastebins. If you helped me out yesterday, thanks again!

>Fate Point:1
>Money: $240
>Equipment: Tier 1 Assault Rifle. Tier 1 Armor (+2 wounds). Tier 1 Pistol. Standard Ammo (4). Tier 1 Knife. Tier 1 Bandolier (2). (Carry Capacity, 1 Ammo, 1 Misc) Tier 0 Rucksack. (Carry Capacity 2.) Clothes (3). Blanket (4). Quality Lighter. Tier 1 Med-kit. Tier 2 Med-kit. Tier 1 Toolkit.

Your name is William and as your eyes blink open, you instinctively look around to see what woke you up. Normally it’s the thump of boots, even if they aren’t coming to kick you anymore they still wake you. Today however…you think it’s food. There’s no other sounds at the moment so the soft wafting smell from downstairs is the only thing that you can think of that could’ve woke you.

Standing up from your bed, something you don’t remember doing before, you stretch, your back popping before you quickly dress and head downstairs. The other three doors on your hall are still shut, which means that Nem, Cath and Morrigan are all likely still asleep. Heading downstairs the smell of sizzling meat and “potatoes” as you learned a few days ago, meets your nose.

“Is that normal?” you hear Sarah ask Mary as you approach the door.

“Only for Morrigan and Nem,” you hear Mary say, “I don’t know about Bellona and I have no idea what got into Cath.”

As you step inside Mary turns to you, what looks like a frown quickly disappearing into a smile as she sees it’s you.

“Will,” she says happily, “You’re up. Did you sleep well?”

You sit down at the table and shrug at Mary as she brings over a plate full of eggs and hash browns, Sarah carrying over some of the crunchy strip things you’ve had before. You’re pretty sure they’re called bacon.

“It was weird,” you say to her, “It was really soft.”

“Beds are supposed to be like that Will,” says Mary, “They’re good for you.”

You nod your head at her as you start to pile your plate with food. Mary puts more on if you don’t take what she thinks is “enough”.

“What’s this about beds?” Sarah asks as she also starts to take some food. You notice that there’s more on the table than usual, probably so there’s enough for everyone.

“Will has some issues with beds,” says Mary quickly, “They didn’t have any where he was so he isn’t used to sleeping on them.”

“Oh,” says Sarah, turning to look at you before going back to her plate, “I guess that’s only natural then.”

You nod, not bothering to correct Mary about the small details as you eat more of her excellent cooking.

“So do you have any plans for today?” Mary asks Sarah, occasionally glancing up at the ceiling as the three of you eat.

“Uh…not really,” says Sarah, poking at the smaller amount of food that she took, “I wasn’t even sure you guys were going to keep me around, I didn’t do a whole lot on the last mission.”

“I think you’ll stay,” says Mary with a smile, “Morrigan’s been dying for another long range shooter. She’s usually doing door kicking.”

“Well, if you say so,” says Sarah, “It’s been hard to find someone who’d take me.”

“Probably male outfits?” asks Mary.

“Yeah,” says Sarah, “Didn’t matter what skills I had, just…”

“It’s actually a pretty good thing,” says Mary, “Mixed outfits get…weird.”

Sarah glances at you as you munch on some bread.

“Will’s a bit different,” says Mary as you finish up with your food, setting the plate in the sink, “So we don’t have to worry about that.”

“Ok,” says Sarah, finishing her food as well.

Mary glances upstairs, sighing. “If they aren’t up soon the food will get cold.” Turning towards you she says, “Will, could you help wake them up? I’ll be right behind you once I finish the dishes.”

You nod to her turning to head upstairs. You decide to:

As you step out of the kitchen Mary calls after you.

“Take care Will, they can get a little grumpy after a trip to Doc’s.”

You wave back to her like Cath does, your boots tromping up the stairs. You don’t think it could be that bad, you haven’t seen anyone here yell at someone else for nothing at all, so it’s not like waking them up is going to be a big deal.

You decide to wake Morrigan up first, she’s the one who’s farthest down the hall and she wakes you up all the time, you can do the same favor for her. You knock on the door first, buy you don’t get a reply. Knocking again produces what might be a soft grumble, but you don’t think Morrigan is going to wake up just like that.

Opening the door, you look up in time to see a white object flying towards your face with expert accuracy. The pillow hits you with a “whump” sound, only rocking you a little bit from the surprise.

“Go way!” grumbles Morrigan from her bed, “Don wanna get up.”

“Mary says the food will get cold,” you say, causing Morrigan to turn and snort at you.

“Wha…Will what’re you doing here?” says Morrigan, turning to look at you through squinted eyes.

“Mary said to wake you up,” you say, standing in the door since she appears to be awake, “Or the food will get cold.”

“Urrgh…” grumbles Morrigan, flopping back onto her bed, “She made bacon?”

“Yes,” you reply.

“Fine, I’m getting up,” she says, sitting upright on her bed as the blanket falls off of her, revealing her undershirt and bare stomach, “Go wake someone else up.”

You nod, turning to see Mary behind you opening up Nems door.

“Did she get you?” asks Mary.

You nod.

Mary chuckles a bit at that. “Well it doesn’t look like it was too bad, you go wake up one of the others.”

You nod and decide too…

You decide to go wake up Cath next, seeing as how she’s right there. As you take the few steps down the hall that you need to do so, you hear Mary and Nem talking and a thump from Morrigan’s room.

Opening the door reveals her sleeping form covered by a blanket with little else in the room. Stepping closer to her you call out.

“Cath,” you say, to which she doesn’t even appear to notice, “Cath…”

As you finally make it next to her bed, Cath still hasn’t moved even a little, the only reason you aren’t concerned she might be dead is the fact that you can see her breathing.

“Cath,” you say finally reaching out to touch her shoulder, “Cath…”

It all happens in just an instant. One second you’re standing over Cath touching her shoulder. The next thing you see is a fist, then the ceiling as you feel a slight ringing in your ears and something warm runs down your face. There’s thuds from the hallway as you blink your eyes.

“Will…” you hear Mary say, then suddenly you see her over you, “Are you alright? What happened?”

“I…” you say, still blinking, “Dunno…”

You hear a gasp from where Cath should be and manage to tilt your head enough to see Cath now sitting upright, her face looking part mortified and part terrified. Her mouth opens several times, but you can’t hear anything except some scared sounding breathing.

“Cath,” says Mary, “Cath calm down, Will’s fine, aren’t you Will?”

“Yeah…” you say, managing to sit upright as you feel your nose. You don’t think it’s broken at least, though it’s definitely bleeding, “I’m ok.”

“See Cath,” says Mary, “he’s fine.”

You feel Mary’s hands on you as she tries to get you to stand up.
>>
>>38361470
“Come on Will,” she says as you slowly manage to get you to your feet, “Let’s get out of here so Cath can get ready and get you cleaned up ok?”

“Okay,” you say still covering your nose as Mary leads you to the washroom and its small stream of cold water.

“Are you ok by yourself?” Mary asks you as you wash your hand.

“I’m fine,” you say, it really didn’t hurt that bad, just surprised you.

“Alright,” says Mary, “I’m going to wake Bellona up, you stay here until you stop bleeding.”

You nod, now pinching your nose like you were taught so you didn’t bleed on anything important.

Mary moves away, leaving you standing there holding your nose as Morrigan and Nem poke their heads in.

“You alright Will?” asks Nem, “Cath has a mean right hook.”

You just nod your head at them.

“Ok,” says Morrigan, “We’ll be downstairs.”

You nod once more, the bleeding finally starting to slow down as they leave.

As the blood finally does stop at least enough you can clean your other hand, you lower your head to see Cath standing there, her face red and slightly scared looking.

“M’sorry…” you hear her mumble.

“It’s ok,” you say, finally shaking your hand clear of the last of the blood, “I’ve had lots worse.”

When Cath doesn’t say anything at first you reach down to dry your hands on the towel that Mary always leaves up here. But then you hear Cath speak again.

“Not…ok,” she says, drawing your attention, “Not…okay.”

You look up at her to find her closer to you, her eyes slightly teary.

“Protect…safe…” you hear from her lips as she stares at your side. You’re not sure what she’s looking at, it is where you got hurt before, the guards kicked you really hard that day and you were in lots of pain for a long time but Cath can’t know about that.

“Cath?” you ask her, slightly confused about what’s going on.

“Never…again,” she says, her voice sounding harsher than normal, “Never…again.”

You stand there, still very confused as to what Cath is upset about or trying to tell you, it’s not like you’re actually hurt.

Suddenly Cath turns around, her shoulders slightly turned down as she stands there.

“Sorry…” you hear one more time before Cath steps out into the hallway, the sound of her boots on the stairs coming to you as you blink a few more times in confusion. Finally deciding that you should finish cleaning up, you dry your hands and check your nose one more time to make sure it isn’t bleeding.
>>
>>38362138
Heading down the stairs you find Mary standing next to her desk, digging through it in search of something as the sounds of Morrigan and Nem’s voices drifts over from the kitchen.

“Will,” says Mary with some surprise, turning towards you, “are you better now?”

You shake your head yes. “I’ve had worse.”

A look flashes across Mary’s face briefly, one that you don’t get a good look at but decide you don’t like.

“Well, as long as you’re ok,” she says, pulling out a stack of money from her desk, then counting it.

“Say Will,” Mary says, “Do you want to come with me? I’ve got an errand to run and everyone else is busy eating.”

“Ok,” you say, to which Mary lights up.

“Great,” she says, putting the money in her pocket, “Let’s go then, I think you’ll like it.”

You nod to her, Mary calling out behind you as you go.

“Me and Will are going out for a bit, we’ll be back later!”

You think you hear a muffled return cry as you step outside with Mary, but you can’t actually tell who it’s from.

“So Will,” asks Mary as she leads you towards the corner of the market and then past it, “are you doing ok at MMS, no complaints?”

“Yes,” you say, wondering what there could be to complain about being fed and getting to sleep with blankets, much less getting actual money, in return for only going out and killing a few bandits now and again.

“Hmm,” says Mary, looking at you as you walk.

You turn to look at her, only to have her turn her face forward again.

“Well I’m glad,” she says, her legs striding before you, “I was worried you might have trouble adjusting.”

You shake your head, causing Mary to smile a little.

“Hold on a second Will,” she says, suddenly stopping and turning to look behind you.

You stop and turn too, only to find a man standing a distance behind you, frozen to the spot.

“Can I help you?” says Mary’s voice, all trace of warmth in it gone.

“Ah…ah…” says the man, clearly terrified.

“If not I suggest you leave, now,” she says, her body shifting slightly as the man suddenly turns and starts running away.

You look up at Mary, only to see her face immediately turn from whatever scared the man to a smile as she notices you.

“Sorry about that Will,” she says, patting your shoulder and turning back towards your destination, “I think the man wanted to cause us trouble.”

You nod, turning to follow her as you make the rest of the trip to your destination in silence. Reaching the place where Mary was leading you you discover…a barn, you think. It’s full of lots of large animals, some of them poking their heads out of the stall they’re in.

Mary smiles at them, sticking her hand out and scratching their noses.

“Have you seen horses before Will?” she asks, walking down the long hallway.

“No,” you say, following Mary as a few of the large beasts snort at you.

“Ah, that’s too bad,” she says, “They’re my favorite.”

Walking down to the middle of the barn there’s an open area where you find a man sweeping in front of one of the horses.

“Ah, you must be the one who stopped by the other day,” he says, looking up at Mary, “Looking to buy some of our stock.”

“That’s me,” says Mary, smiling at the man.

“What was it, five?” he asks.

“Seven, actually,” she says, “Plus board, we don’t have space ourselves.”

“Of course of course,” says the man, “Just follow me to my office real fast and we can take care of it.”

“Okay,” says Mary, turning to look at you, “Now you stay here Will, I’ll be back in a minute.”

You nod at her, watching as she heads into a side room with the man, leaving you alone with the horse, which promptly snorts at you.

>>

Why yes it is, although I did do some drinking that evening. That aside, the best way to stay sober without falling bad around GT students is to introduce yourself (after they've already started the drinking) by walking into the doorframe for their apartment. Slumping into walls and slurred speech is optional. Tripping over things IS mandatory. Basically, you over-act being drunk. It works fairly well.

My brother corrected me though. He had about one and a half more liters of alcohol (that we're certain of) over the course of the evening with a couple cups of water. Granted, he was drinking
for about seven (?) hours overall.

You don’t move. There is absolutely no reason for you to move and several reasons for you not to. The main reason for you to not move is that Mary told you not too. That’s more than enough reason for you not too, even if you’re not going to get beaten for it. Mary’s nice to you and feeds you, so you aren’t going to move.

The other thing that makes you not want to move is the giant thing standing close to you only held there by the ropes around its nose. It’s not that you’re scared of the thing, it’s just that you don’t think you want to test its patience. You know to respect people that are bigger than you and the horse is bigger than any of them. It even looks like it’s kind of smart, it’s one eye focused on you as it stomps the ground with its big…foot thing.

It’s only a couple minutes until Mary comes out of the room with the man, but the horse looks at you nearly the entire time and snorts a few more times for good measure. Mary is smiling as she comes out, nearly bouncing on her feet.

“So that’ll keep you up on board for a few months then,” says the man as he comes out behind Mary, “Then we’ll talk payment again.”

“I’m sure it’ll be fine,” says Mary, “we’ve got a pretty steady source of income.”

“S’good to hear,” says the man, “We’ll have em so they’re all ready for you whenever you need em.”

“Even at night?” asks Mary.

“Well we wouldn’t do much good if we didn’t have someone here at all times,” says the man, “horses are valuable these days.”

“True,” says Mary, walking up to the horse that had been staring at you and petting it, the large beasts making it’s strange noise again as it rubs its head against Mary’s hand.

Being scared on a horse is the best way to fall or be thrown off. The horse WILL fuck with you. Personal experience taught me that, on both a docile horse and a stockhorse.

That is why I prefer motorbikes and 4wds. Only a few places a horse beats me on those, and if you own land on the side of a mountain and run cattle or sheep on it, you deserve all the bullshit that horses come with.
>>
>>38364238
It's not too bad. I was always weary of them but after riding them I'm no longer afraid.

However if you're on one and don't know what your doing and accidentally send the signal to gallop it's horrifying.

>>
>>38364258
Most people in Texas haven't rode a horse either.

>>38364353
Arm? Nah. In my experience, they're more likely to run you against a tree. And since saddles are already bad on your legs if you don't know how to sit, it's the worst.

Horses are assholes. I think the only reason they don't fuck with me anymore is because they know I'd rather eat them than put up with their shit.

You might not be the best at lots of things, but you’re pretty good at telling when people want something. So it’s pretty easy for you to see that Mary wants to ride some horses, even if you aren’t too sure about the whole thing. Thus, you’ll ride some horses, even if it isn’t going to be something you’ll enjoy very much.

“We can try riding,” you say, only to have Mary’s face light up as she turns to the man.

“I think we’ll try riding for a bit,” she says, her hand stroking the big animal’s neck.

“Alrighty then,” says the man, “You want to take Ole Larry there?”

“Sure,” says Mary, patting the horse once again, “If you have a more docile horse I think Will’s never ridden before.”

“Righty,” says the man, “Brie’s who you’re looking for, I’ll go grab her.”

Mary nods, mostly ignoring the man now as she takes a strange looking brush and begins to clean the horse. The man comes back with another horse, this one slightly smaller than the first one.

“Now since this is your first time let me show you how to do this…” says the man, who then proceeds to show you all the various brushes and picks you’re supposed to use on the horse, then all the gear that gets put on them. Mary doesn’t seem to need any help, having cleaned and saddled her horse all by herself.
>>
>>38364711

Once you’re all done the man leads you both outside, showing you how to get on the horse and telling you how to direct it. Mary waits patiently until you’re done, then seemingly levitates her way up on the horse. You however take your time, managing to make it up on your horse on the third try, though the horse seems mildly irritated by this.

In the end you ride around the ring on the horse slowly at nothing much more than a walking pace. While it was slightly scary at first, you find your horse follows Mary’s around easily enough and you only have to get used to the height difference and the fact that the thing between your legs occasionally has a mind of its own. Eventually you get down off your horse, but Mary stays on a bit longer. You watch her as she rides around at a full “gallop” which to you looks like the horse going breakneck speeds nearly uncontrollably. Mary however seems to have the time of her life and eventually the two of you leave the stables, Mary still with that big grin on her face.

“That was fun,” she says as you walk back, “Thanks Will.”

You nod at her.

“So was there anything you wanted to do Will?” she asks you.

Morrigan is going to come out of nowhere and give the biggest, warmest hugs on the continent. It will be because she couldn't hug her father all these years. ;_;

You know, I've been wondering, if ever, if we are going to introduce Will into the world of music.

I say this primarily because I'm listening to the Beatles as we wait for Guide to deliver.

“Doc Smith’s,” you say as you and Mary walk back through the market and towards MMS, “Learn about being a doctor.”

“Oh, is that where Cath took you the other day?” asks Mary as you enter the front door.

“Yes,” you say, slightly surprised to see Sarah sitting at Mary’s desk.

“Hello,” says Sarah, looking up from a book that she probably got from the desk.

“Hello,” says Mary, heading for the kitchen, “Will, how about you eat first and then head over?”

You nod, following Mary inside where she starts to make you a sandwich.

“Where’s everyone else?” Mary asks Sarah through the door.

“Nem went out again,” she says, “Cath is in the weight room and I think Morrigan is upstairs.”

“Always upstairs,” says Mary, handing you your sandwich which you dutifully start eating. After you finish, you start to get up and head towards the door, preparing to head out by yourself.

“Will,” says Mary, stopping you in your tracks.

“What?” you ask.

“Maybe you should take the stuff you found and that way you can have the doctor show you what it’s for,” says Mary with a smile.

Well, that does make sense. You nod, heading to the back and grabbing both the smaller kit and the bigger one you found in the ambulance.

“Be careful Will,” says Mary.

“I will,” you say, heading out towards the clinic.

You make good time, managing not to get lost in the process as you once again enter the door with the tinkle of the bell. This time Doc Smith is behind the counter as you enter, reading something.
>>
>>38365959
>the Beatles

As soon as I read that "All You Need Is Love" started playing in my head. That couldn't fit Will any better.
>>
>>38366003
“Oh, Will,” he says as he looks up, “I see you’ve taken me up on that offer.”

“Useful,” you say to him, nodding as you set the gear you found on the desk.

“Well look at this,” he says, “Where’d you find it?”

“On a job,” you say, “Is it good?”

“Very good for what you need,” he says, opening up the bigger bag and pulling things out, “Looks like nearly everything is here and you’ve even got a surgical kit.”

You watch him as he goes through your stuff, partially unsure as to what most of it does in the first place.

“You don’t know much you said?” he asks you, to which you nod.

“Alright then, how about we go through what all of this is for then?”

You nod, watching carefully and listening to his explanations for the various bandages, tools, wipes and everything else in both of the bags. By the time he’s done you know what most of it is supposed to do, even if you aren’t particularly sure what some of it is that you’d be doing.

As Doc Smith is finishing with your stuff, the door slams open, startling you as a man comes in, holding a bandage to his side.

“Doc…” he says, the red soaked bandage already spelling out the problem.
>>
>>38365939
Much appreciated.
>>38365929
It's a shame. Me and a couple of buddies are going to marathon as much Nimoy stuff as we can tomorrow in memory for what little it may mean.
>>
>>38366026
“Will, help me,” he says, already moving around the side of the counter to grab the man as he stumbles a bit. You move forward as well, grabbing hold of the man’s shoulder as you and Doc Smith carry him to the back where you find a waiting room with a table and supplies already laid out.

“It doesn’t look too bad,” says Doc Smith as he peels back the bandages to check the hole in the man’s side, “Through and through…looks like you’ll be ok, Will come shine this light on him,” he says gesturing to a mirrored lantern nearby. Shining the light on the man, you watch as Doc Smith treats the man, determining as best he can the state of bleeding and that there are no bullet fragments in the wound. All in all it’s quite informative, ending when Doc Smith gives the man a shot of something that makes him calm down.

“Thanks Will,” says Doc Smith as the man subsides, “I get more of those than I like, it’s nice to have someone around to help.”

You nod at him.

“I think it’d be best if you go home now,” he says, “I just need to wait until he wakes up, there’s nothing for you to do.”

“Ok,” you say to him.

“Come back though,” he says as you pick up your bags, “I’m sure I’ll have plenty to teach you.”

You nod, heading out the door and back towards MMS, feeling like you’ve accomplished something important today.

Alright guys, calling it here.

This was a mildly necessary yet boring thread that I feel I didn't do great on. At least that's my opinion, I'm sure you guys have different ones.

Q and A like normal for a bit, then I'm headed off to sleep.

It was fine. Cath spoke quite a bit (for her), Will wasn't traumatized by any horses, and he got to be USEFUL. Pretty good if you ask me.

>>38366112
Or is it the effect of Will's hangover?
>>
>>38366085
It's all good Guide. Thanks for the thread

I wonder if Will has a small smile on his face as he walks back.
>>
>>38366085
It was a nice reprieve from drama, ptsd, and the other horrors will usually has to face. It felt a bit disjointed, but that's the nature of turning a narrative into a quest; with options that sometimes don't mesh too well in a coherent story or a logical series of events.
>>
>>38366110
Glad you think so.

>>38366112
Thanks for reading.

>>38366122
Yup.

>>38366130
Plan on it. Will probably start around noon.

>>38366142
Glad you enjoyed it.

>>38366169
Welcome.

He probably wouldn't notice if he did.
Question that I just thought of, would you guys be ok with this quest being a bit more episodic? I know there's been timeskips and all, but just starting in the middle of something since Will doesn't have a whole lot to do by himself?
>>
>>38366229
I'd be fine with it. Being a mercenary probably involves a lot of waiting around for a job so time-skipping until then would definitely help the pace.
>>
>>38366229
I wouldn't mind a more episodic style.
>>
>>38366229

Noice.
>>
I feel like you people praise Guide too much. I don't mean it like he doesn't sometimes deserve it; but when he clearly asks for criticism, you guys just shovel on the praise. He wants to know how he can do better on something he feels wasn't done right. I saw this throughout HPQ and I'm seeing it here.

Be a bit more honest, guys. Its better for the quest.
>>
>>38366229
Seems like a good idea. No sense on having so many threads on the times between jobs. Skips would be acceptable to me.
>>
>>38366008
There are many Beatle songs that I feel can apply.

>Hard Days Night
>Anytime at All
>I'm So Tired
>>
>>38366229
Its fine as long as he's tuning his skills in the mean time. At this point we've had the basic introduction to the major players, town, resolving requests, and MMS.
>>

>>38366258
>>38366260
>>38366296
>>38366308
Cool.

Glad you guys are on board with it, that way we can focus more on jobs and important interactions than, "Will learned how to read better."

Not that learning how to read isn't important, just that it's boring to read in a quest.
>>
>>38366273
We are honest. Stop being a prick and put your criticism out there.
>>
>>38366273
>Have no criticism to offer.
>Complains that others don't criticize

I'm not a writer and I've got no complaints about this session. It was a bit slow but not every session can be MUH TRAUMA!
>>
>>38366345
See you, space cowboy.
>>
>>38366229
I think there needs to be a balance though, yeah more action is great but I'd still like character development and off time, y'know? I like the timeskips how they are now - just cause this thread was kinda boring due to average rolls and just SoL stuff doesn't mean it was bad. If you do do episodes though could you post a "week in review" or something, so we get some character progression?

The quest will be fine as long as you like to write it, the second it gets boring or turns into a chore for you to write it'll go straight downhill like HPQ seemed to.

>Question that I just thought of, would you guys be ok with this quest being a bit more episodic?
Sounds fine to me as long as obvious stuff like training with Doc Smith continues in between what we'd be interacting with. I have faith you'll deliver quality regardless.
>>
>>38366273
We kinda are.

Guide's one of the few QMs that actually ask the players for feedback on how he does things. With a playerbase that isn't supremely toxic, we give honest answers and Guide adjusts accordingly. The fact he manages to adjust well only serves to get the playerbase to like him even more.

That along with whatever else he does, like taking random crits and using it to make fantastic scenes, means we aren't gonna go around and nitpick every little detail we don't like. Only saying "its shit" doesn't help anyone.
>>
When Aunt Flow stops by for a visit it's going to be hell & poor Will is going to be SO confused.
>>
>>38366451
Guide will part that particular Red Sea for Will, if you catch my drift.
>>
>>38366400
Development as good so long as it's not too fast. Will has some serious issues that he will probably never get entirely over... and we've already got one guy voting for, "head pats."
>>
>>38366479
Leave it to fucking /tg/ to be obsessed with something as condescending as patting someone on the head.
>>
>>38366400
It's not going to be "episodic" like a show, more timeskips I guess, focus on important things like talking to the squad and not, "Jim Bob the farmer who has horses."

Also todays session started to go downhill because I misjudged how tired I was.

So there's that.

I'll be rested for Sunday and hopefully I'll have more stuff ready.

Plus, like >>38366479
says, Will has his issues and if we don't play them out some, it'll just feel off.

So balance is on me.
>>
>>38366472
No no, Will is going to have to learn about that one.

There's six of em.
>>
>>38366479
I mean we just had a 2 week timeskip, I assume those'll continue. But I don't mean anything creepy like that, more like the aftermath/figuring out what was with Cath now that we're back and everything cooled off. That kinda stuff.

>>38366512
Sounds kinda like how it is then which is cool with me. The squad interaction is the best part of the quest. The more realistic tone of combat compared to the fantasy stuff is great too.
>>
>>38366568
O-oh boy. I feel sorry for the little guy. He's going to have to hide under his blankets.
>>
>>38366643
You know what happens when they all live together long enough right?
>>
>>38366657
Yeah. They synchronize
>>
>>38366681
Now imagine pissed off synced up Mercs out on a job together.
