Surprisingly in this historic era, Tygorn is run as a democracy.

Solace of Union League is based on the religion of the 6 Mana Goddesses.

Chrenf Kingdom is a nation that seems quite similar to Sparta.

Orem Empire is a place that try to spread its talents everywhere. Military, trade, sea, magic, etc. Another fun fact was that this Empire is run not by a monarchy but by a "dua-archy". Basically, the Emperor and Empress have the same amount of rule. However, the bandit talked about how the "Benevolent Empress" basically runs the empire.

Max decided on taking a walk.

The workload as a Overlord compelled him to take a small breather.

'Still, this castle is as vacant as ever.'

Once again, the dusty ol' dark castle seem too lonely for the Lich's taste. The only residence should be Pillars and the Overlord. However, Max questioned if the Pillars actually do stay in this castle for most of their time.

'Maybe, I should do something about this solitude of fortress?'

And like his thoughts has been answered, multiple footsteps were heard from around the corner.

I believe this is a possibility. We'll need to teach them how to temper emotions as well. Or slap them a little if need be.
I think we should also spend some time with each of our pillars. Jreet of Red was the first we met, Insect Queen was the first we got actually acquainted with, we had a huge influence on Pylo.That leaves Myu, and Lixiver.
We have a good little opening with Lixiver, since he noticed out difference, and might have some doubts needed to be quelled. Also there are many things that are not known about him yet.

As soon as Max can hear the footsteps close enough to be around the corner, he tried his best to look casual but still kind.

"Oh, I see." Melissa said a bit coldly with no traces of pity or sympathy.

"Yes, I believe the previous Overlord changed my memory. You know something about this whole business?"

" No. I was used as a sacrifice by my father's dark magic. In the end, I revived as an undead that still hold on to her previous mana capabilities. Unfortunately, I can only control dark mana."

"I-I'm sorry to hear that."

Melissa became quiet.

The silence ranged on for quite a while.

"Overlord of Max, I came here in hopes that you shared my experience so we can talk. When I revived, I lost all of my human qualities. However, I can sense that there is some... emotion and human traits still in you."

Long story short, my dad turned me into a Lich so I can be the Overlord and stop the war between humans and monsters.

Revive spells are completely taboo, however, and they should be treated as such.

While the magic did work, the aftereffect turned my dad's organs into liquid.

That was a long time ago, and I still refuse to be Overlord.

I've been roaming around Asleit. The monsters are displeasing and the other liches are annoying. I'm not entirely too sure why I just don't kill myself yet.

Right now, I believe that once the hero comes here and kills the Overlord, I can finally prove to my dad that I was correct.

He's the ruler of his clan, Wulan, for 20 years.

He talks about how Wulan's honor is about becoming a strong monster and protect Liches.

The Jreet must have detected his displease, because the monster started to tense.

"Overlord!" The Jreet shouted and bowed. "If I have offended you, please let me atone."

"Overlord, you are the monster I have the most respect! I have seen your strength and the effect you have caused in Asleit. In fact, a change has occurred to me lately."

Apparently, they can. Whether the bottle was magic or not, for the next few hours Max became very dizzy.

He didn't even realize the 3 little Jreets came back and also drank some.

The group then partied in a subtle matter. A very strange scene really, to see monsters drinking and having a good time.
