>Summary:
You are Heracor Nahive, techpriest working as an escort for the mighty Commissar Oihan Alzador and currently in the Death World of Plinia Vesus to mitigate the riots and disturbs that the thousands of prisoners destined there are creating and secretly to avoid the uprising of an ancient and incredibly powerful Khorne Bloodthirster. There is also Radical and hypocrite Inquisitor who hates you and whose daughter you accidentally left paraplegic.

You cannot get Lanky out of your head, especially not after seeing what then Inquisitor did to the other prisoner. With the weapons safe on your pouch you travel back to the basement.

The two big bodyguards aren't bleeding anymore but they seem pale and one of them has puke stains in the ceramite of his armor.

"Be a good girl!"

You yell at her as you pass by. She feels surprised and even scared, seems that her father nor anybody has never been strict with her before. If anybody confronted her she would mindscramble them, a normal trained psyker would be able to destroy someone's mind but as she was little more than an infant all she could do was give migraines and she used it as a tool to get whatever she wanted. You were different, her powers were useless with you and even if his "Daddy" hated you he knew that you were useful for him.

Unable to counter Heracor she did as he ordered and left the two poor men alone for the first time in several hours.

The shower felt good and shorter, maybe because you were clean already, maybe because you already did it and you knew what to expect.

Once inside you found the naked and spread body of Lanky on the same table were the other prisoner was tortured, he was now lying dead on the floor with all limbs ripped and blood leaking from its anus.

"Stop!" You yell at him as he is about to endure the same torture that he applied before.
ain its trust.

"Oh...It's my dear friend the blank techpriest. What brings you now to this place, scum?"

He moved around and got closer to you, pressed all the buttons of his gauntlet and it started doing all things at once. Vibrating, spinning, generating electricity and injecting poison...with the few amounts of flesh and blood vessels in my body even if that poison was designed to torture it would probably kill me.

In about 25 hours the Skitarius will start their expedition.

>Sacrifice Morti in an explosion of light and electricity that will surely knock the inquisitor down.

>Try to calm him down and convince she doesn't needs to be tortured.

“What do you pretend to obtain from torturing her Inquisitor Rodan?”

Your heavy feet advanced towards her circling the Inquisitor and maintaining always a safety distance.

“She is the last one of her prison. May look human on the outside but we both saw what the ingestion of sanguine vitae does to her body. You needed proof of daemonic influences there. She is the living proof of it. Keeping her alive is a must have…for now.”

With your prose and your words you hoped to have gained at least some time. While what all you said was true you honestly thought that Lanky wasn't really tainted. If she was so thin was because she fought against her instincts and didn't ate other prisoners, your personal judging indicated that there was still hope for her.

The inquisitor stopped and nodded; even if he hated it you were right.

“Your daughter is outside and the two guards are about to lose their consciousness, why don’t you rest and let me work in there?”

The mention of the toddler psyker seemed to hit a nerve on him. Without a word he moved towards the vault’s door. He stopped every few steps as if he felt insecure about it, his belief of yourself as a blank finally managed him to leave you alone with the prisoners.

After that you checked Lanky. She was drugged but still conscious. She would return to her senses in a few minutes.

Not doing anything involving Lanky until he actually leaves. Let's look at 04.
>>
So once he leaves, I'm thinking we summon some servitors to 'help us', disguise Lanky as one (possibly involves removing some parts and replacing them with bionics) and have her leave with them and brought to our quarters (possibly restrained). We'll say that we looked thoroughly one last time, then disposed of the remains in an incinerator. If we did remove body parts, we could use it as 'proof' and say we didn't remove all of it yet and he could look at them himself before incinerating them if he likes. Just an idea.

Before I continue writing here is a small summary of the planet and what happened there:

>Eldars discover the planet, notice its so deadly that nobody would ever want to mine or colonize it.
>The seal a really powerful bloodthirster somewhere in the planet.
>Thousands of years later the Imperium discovers the planet and decides to build several giant city wide prisons to hold in there its scum.
>At first it goes somewhat nice but the influence of the Daemon makes the prisoners riot and one day they all decide to go berzerk and kill all the guards and workers.
>The guard is deployed and contains the battle, as a punishment they orbit bomb the only spaceport and leave the prisoners locked on the lava world for 200 years hoping that the planet will kill them.
>They somewhat not only survive but evolve into different cultures, each prison developing its own culture.
>The guard is deployed to control them and hoping to reopen the planet as a prison.
>Instead of sending guards to the prisons they have built several outposts to control them safely.

The different cultures:
>MegaPrison01:
Really violent and suicidal. They swap their limbs for mining tools to use them on battle, apparent high tolerance to pain.
>MegaPrison02:
Those aren't so violent but they are paranoid and scared. Know how to create weapons and seem to be the most civilized ones.
>MegaPrison03:
Became cannibalistic and tribal-like. Discovered to be clones. They are really violent and mostly use close combat weapons.
>MegaPrison04:
Mostly unknown. They live in a radioactive crater so it is theorized they are highly mutated.
>MegaPrison05:
Unknown.
>Purgatory:
Unknown.

>Learn more about the other prisoners.

You walk towards the biggest cell of all of them. Designated with the number 04. The dataslate on the door contains the following information.

>>ACCESSING SUMMARY M.P04:

MegaPrison Zerofour is the most recently built one. It was ordered to be destroyed by the use of nuclear bombarding for a entire month to create such a massive smoke mushroom that would demoralize and force the enemy prisoners to know what doom awaited them.

The result of the use of that ordnance was a giant crater that descended deep below the "sea" lava level. It is so deep that it is in a constant shadow with the exception of a few hours a day. Its temperature is also on the lowest with only 15ºC.

The air and water is contaminated with high rad and becquerel levels and while baseline human life is suitable it will reduce the lifespan of anybody who enters it by half at least. Highly resistant rad-suits are needed to enter it.

The survivors of the war were given enough servitors and materials to reconstruct the prison on the deep of the newly formed crater as best as they could.

It is unknown what do those new generation of prisoners say and speak since some of them don't have formed enough tongues and the ones they do seem to speak a invented language who uses parts of highly corrupted low-gothic.

>>CLOSING SUMMARY M.P04:

Inside the cell there were at least twenty mutated persons, they all seemed to be inflated and bloated, mostly surely by humongous cancerous tumors. The one who was most close to you looked with an infant curiosity, surely his mind was as developed as the brain of a five year old child.

>Try to peacefully communicate with them.
>Summon a few servitors, to clean up at least and in case you need them.

You remember how Fire in the skin told you that those prisoners had some sort of leader and that they could get violent. Maybe if they all are so child minded and they saw the blood and the bodies they would get scared and their underdeveloped brains would answer with psychical aggression.

On one side of the wall there are various servitors lying on their recharging stations awaiting for orders. You slowly walk over them and activate each one by one, they seem to be pretty generic with the exception of five of them who look more like battle servitors, useful in case any prisoner goes awry.

With every servitor with the exception of the battle ones activated you order them to clean all the mess and order the tools that are lying around.

After that you return with the mutants and try to communicate with them.

"HELLO..." You say slowly. Your mechanical voice and the fact that sound emanated from you without your jaw moving seemed to startle them a little bit. Two of them pissed themselves, a sour smell filling the caged walls.

It took you over ten minutes filled with slow and simple words and hand gestures to get their attention again.

"HELLO..." You repeated even more slowly.

"Hel-hell-O!" Answered one looking kinda proud of himself. The others followed soon each pronouncing the word as best as they could and creating a cacophony of badly pronounced greetings. Luckily for you those walls were so thick that nobody besides you and the other prisoners could ear their gurgling voices.

>Ask away. Write what do you want the MC to ask them. Try to be simple or the only thing you will get will be a puzzled look.

Once they see that you are just a little odd but by no mean a danger to them they all gather against the metal bars to see and greet you.

"What is home your like?" You ask to the entire group.

"Hom is nicee" Says a salivating man whose lower jaw is not totaly formed.

"De air itches and wind BURNSSS" Adds one who seemed more intelligent that his peers. Maybe he was referencing the radioactivity present in his living grounds.

"We not get clos to metal and wood sneik, it might go BOOM!" Answers another referencing the spiraling train rails and how they are rigged to explode if they try to escape.

"Who do you listen to? Are they nice?"

They seem pretty confused but after some time the clever prisoner answers.

"We hav a ledur, LEDUR IS NICEE" After that they all nodded in unison, it was a eerie thing to see.

"What do you eat in your home?"

After that question a small one that you didn't even saw after that became all excited and jumpy.

"Shromz shromz! BlueblueblueblueSHROMZ!!" She throwed you one of those "shromz". It was a blue and bioluminescent mushroom. After grabbing the geiger counter and verifying that it inst radioactive you kept it for future study.

"Uuuh...also rats and watur. Watur is nicee!"

It seemed that their diet was somewhat balanced, they had both vegetal and animal proteins and had water. It might explain how those survived so long.

"Are there bad people or scary things?"

"DASUNZSCARY!!" Yelled one from the back.

She seemed to be scared of the sun. Living all her life under the darkness and being only illuminated by artificial lights it was pretty obvious how could they be scared of the few hours of natural sunlight that the had. Besides they surely didn't knew what even their star was.

"Anything else?" You added

"Soliders came and yelled and dey were scary..."

You sighted and continued asking.

"Are there weird objects where you come from? Things that aren't alive but move on their own?"
>>
>>38312214
You awaited five minutes but there wasn't any true answer to you last question with the exception of some mumbling. It seems that they were unable to understand it at all.

Those tumors make me think they'll burst with some nasty stuff or something, as it happens often in fiction, but that's more Nurgle's thing. With Khorne I'm guessing that the tumors are converted to muscle. This is purely speculation.

They seem nurgle to me.

>>38312250
>Leave them and continue with the other cells.
>>
"Have you ever saw something that looked like me?" You ask using your hands to point specially at your robes and bionics.

Most of them said no but a shy yet tall looking one said yes.

"Yuss, once one coming frum de dark holes. He was all like GO AWEY!" The tall mutate continued maiking onomatopoeias and to imitate the techpriest to the amusement of the rest of the group.

>>38312250
>Scan them with x-ray briefly.
>Leave them and continue with the other cells.

You get your X-ray lenses ready and look at them. Their bones are strong and durable yet fragile and twisted in some parts, in some parts of their bodies there are dark bags of what seems like tumors. Some of their organs are very developed and others way too small. It was a miracle how some of them managed to be alive honestly.

Walking over the 5th cell was pointless as they didn't managed to capture anybody alive so far. There was only some gore body rests. The dataslate was pretty much empty too.

There was another last cell thought. A totally metal covered block with thick walls and doors. On it there was inscribed the words "Purgatory" and the next phrase "Vos estis filii imperatoris. Quid ergo frustra hic te credent in patiendo."

The door that locked it had a small grill to look.

Mostly because Khorne has his sights here, and the Greater daemon sealed here is the main source of Chaos. Chaos aren't friendly with one another, so if Nurgle did dip his fingers here, his recent adoptions wouldn't be particularly safe from the other prisoners.

True, they aren't violent or angry by nature it seems so it's possible it is indeed Nurgle.
That being said, a report on them should probably include that there is a strong possibility that they could be lead into being violent and such, being so child-like.
>>
>>38312545
>Try to translate the text from high gothic first.
>Look at the grill to see its interior.
>Look at it with the X-rays

Your high gothic is pretty rusty as the few times you have read it was to look at sacred manuals and the last time was months ago when you were back in your forge planet.

Using your cogitator brain you manage to translate it after ten minutes. It reads like this:
>You are the sons of the Emperor. What ye disappointed, suffering here he will believe in you again.

It seems that the translation isn't perfect at all.It doesn't says who those sons of the Emperor are.

Somewhat scared you look into the grill and hear and loud breathing. It is dark inside and two small green colored slits that glow weakly. Only those two can be seen from its interior, nothing else.

"Of course it had to be a techpriest. Who else could be so fool and curious to look into the unknown as your cult does."

Says a deep vox caster processed voice from the interior.

You were so surprised by it that you fell back, , after standing up again you looked again, this time with the X-Rays. What was inside startled you.

It was nothing but a Space marine chained to the walls by adamantium chains that were as thick as your arms. You were unable to see behind its armor nor what chapter it belonged to but he was obviously a space marine.

"Why are you here?" You shyly ask.

"Why do you think that somebody is trapped inside a prison? I thought that techpriests were more intelligent. I committed a crime and spending a hundred years surviving in this hole was my punishment. There was a misalignation in the coordinates of the drop pods so instead of falling in the island we fell in other places. There were another three pods, two reached the destination, the other two fell into the lava including mine. I was able to survive using the rest of the pods and the other dead marines as platforms to reach safety since we landed just a hundred meters away from the coast. Luckily for me the landing was at night so the cold air made the melting slower. The emperor didn't abandoned me that night."

He seemed to be good telling stories. His voice flowed and his centuries long life had made him learn the way with words.

"What chapter are you from?" You ask next, curious about knowing more about him.

"Heralds of Vengeance. We are a small chapter but we truly follow our name. If we fight next to a battle brother, independent of if he is of our own chapter or another, and it dies we will avenge him as it deserves."

"Am I correct to assume that purgatory is the prison used for Space Marines then?"

"Of course, mortal. We have to follow rules, the most famous set of guides being the Codex Astartes. Rules are a thing that everybody has to follow and you should know it better than anybody, techpriest."

"As anything happened in purgatory like it has in the other prisons? Any riots, cults, prison leaders, and such? Some details would be appreciated."

"Even if we are all criminals we are seeking redemption to the eyes of the Emperor and the Imperium. There is a high number of chaplains in Purgatory, both sent by their chapters and imprisoned. Any sign of rebellion is punished by death. Fool me once and It is your fault, fool me twice and it is my fault"

>>
>>38313011
"Are there tunnels called 'the crystalline underdark that connect to purgatory as well?"

"Your questions are foolish once again. If there were tunnels then the isolation of the prison would be moot. I do not know anything about any tunnel."

"Were there techpriests in purgatory as well? What happened to them?"

"There is a great influx of techmarines since they have to follow two set of rules, the ones of their chapter and the ones of your machine god. They bring their own servitors and techmarines with them but most die soon."

"Do you have some understanding of what's going on on this planet?"

"I do not. As soon as I reached land I sent a distress signal. Some scouting mission found and transported me there. Only the Commissars and other high military powers can know the true nature of Purgatory. The guardsmen cannot be told that there are Marines imprisoned since that would mean a demoralization and maybe heresy in their feeble minds. Unable to reach the island I was imprisoned there and the scouting mission executed. I have been over twenty years since then in this cell."

"I do believe it is operational. Never had any contact with them since I was locked. I never had the need to. This cell or purgatory, both are prisons on their own."

"Why are you here in this cell specifically then, instead of in the prison itself?"
Purgatory is located atop a medium sized island. We are dropped by drop pods for a reason. The only other way of reaching it is by air but it isn't safe due to the heat vents and the pollution. The guard could have sent me in a Valkyrie but that would have been a suicide mission and even if the pilots were successful they would have to be executed afterwards for what they saw. Once a group of marines have fulfilled their sentences they are sent a Thunderhawk Transporter for their retrieval."

"Thank you for your time and your answers venerable marine." You say as a farewell.

You walk back and ask the still paranoid and apathetic prisoners of MP02 about what they know from Purgatorium.

>Fill him in on what's been happening. Mention contact has been lost with purgatory.

You suddenly remember something that you heard some days ago. Hurriedly you return to the Purgatory cell.

"If I am not wrong contact with Purgatory has been lost..."

He seemed silent for some time, maybe his inhuman mind was now thinking of all the possibilities.

"For what I have heard...it cannot be."

Nothing came from his throat for another long seconds but then he continued talking.

"Whatever has happened there, it is not the business of a techpriest like you. I am sure the Astartes are working on it."

"But wait...there is more!" You yell insecure of speaking with him as the other prisoners could maybe hear you "I...cannot say it." You confess.

"Whisper, human. My ears will be able to catch it."

You tune down your voice to a lower volume and then tell him all the story, omitting the participation of the xenos spy. That unknown marine becomes then the third person who knows from the bloodthirster besides you and Elyadien.

"In case that is true go back and liberate me. I will need to flight to Purgatory and reunite the different chapter battle brothers into a unique banner to fight the great enemy once again. The Emperor has truly given us a way of redemption."

With those last words said he gives you a small nod and you leave him alone once again.

You make your way back into the AdMech cathedral, somewhat relieved of finally leaving that underground place.

Once inside you feel liberated, as if you are able to breath in the first time since a really long time.

Finding Konterus ends becoming harder than you thought at first but you end being able to. He's training and fighting his different pistols at the training dummy...a dead servitor.

"Oh hiya Heracor, ready to go on a expedition, the group is pretty much ready."

"No, I mean well yes I am ready but we need to talk first."

"Awww, having second thoughts now kiddo? It's ok if you are scared, everybody's scared of their first mission? It will be a piece of already chewed corpse starch. The information you sent me about the tunnel in the MegaPrison 02 will be a good start, its far away thought. Hope you dont mind having your still fleshy butt in the seat for some long hours!"

"I think there is someone who has access to all the prisons practicing tech-heresy and supplying them with weapons"

His face became all serious, he might be a chill person but this was serious.

"You have any real proof of it?"

"I found the ruins of what seemed like a lab in MegaPrison03, plus we discovered all their inhabitants were clones. There have also been sights of robed people in MegaPrison04 and..."

"Look. MegaPrison 03 has been destroyed and the people of 04 has so undeveloped brains that would say yes to anything they didn't understood. The other prisoners would also blatantly lie if that was profitable for them. They are imprisoned, they have nothing to lose. Unless you have any empirical proof you will need to leave me alone" He said in a cutting manner before returning to his training.

>Show him the weapon blueprints you got from the now destroyed lab.
>Try to meet the rest of the team he has composed.
>Go back to the basement.
>Rest.
>Train.
>Free action.
>>
>>38313701
Do we still have the well made gas mask?
If so, show it to him.
If not, can we check the place's weapon/bionic blueprints?
>>
>>38313701
>Tell him of the modifications made to the prisoners of MegaPrison 01, how only someone with an understanding of machinery could have rigged those bombs inside them.
>Ask him to at least consider the possibility, just in case.

>>
>>38313731
We have two rebreathers. The Imperial one we were issued and one created by prisoners who is half destroyed. Heracor doesn't travels with it so he would have to return to Outpost Delta to grab it.

Heracor doesn't has the blueprints in paper but has kept them in his memory. Showing them while a good proof might not convince him.

>>38313755
Working on this.
>>
>>38313813
What I meant was that after trying to convince him we should see about checking the HQ's available bionics/weapons.
>>
>>38313885
So what do you want then? Look at Lanky or Bionics?
>>
>>38313932
Eh, I'm fine with going to see lanky, I was just mentioning it so that we don't forget (if we have time)
>>
>>38313932
Lanky. To tie up loose ends and not have a reason to go back to the basement afterwards.

Personally I'm voting to try to get her someplace that inquisitor won't try to mess with her and likely fuck things up for everyone

>>
>>38313972
I mean, that inquisitor seemed a bit unhinged, but even he would notice the mysterious disappearance of a girl who that one techpriest stopped him from torturing.
>>
>>38313701
>Tell him of the modifications made to the prisoners of MegaPrison 01, how only someone with an understanding of machinery could have rigged those bombs inside them.

"Prisoners of MegaPrison 01 were modified and grafted bionics, they had also rigged bombs inside them ready to explode when they died"

"I know. I have seen what kind of damage have they been able to do to those war vehicles and the weapons. While it is true that those operations required a techpriest in the past they were so common back in the day that it is possible that they kept the knowledge to present day."

"Yes, but what about the bombs?"

"It doesn't sounds hard to make, just a sensor who needs to receive the contraction impulses of the heart."

>Ask him to at least consider the possibility, just in case.

"It isn't so simple. We as techpriests find doing all those things banal and easy, someone without out teachings would have it impossible to do..."

"Well...I will meditate about it. But understand me, I barely know you and you are giving me nothing but
hypothesis. I need something real to work with."

>Take care of some last minute business before going. Namely Lanky and a report to the higher ups on what we've learned.

There is still 25 hours until the meeting point and the start of the expedition. Even if it seems like time is on your side you still try to manage it as best as you can.

Once again and hopefully for the last time you descend into the sanctified basement, at the same time you send a message to Oihan telling her all what you discovered and your theories, maybe she will trust you more.

Lanky lies awaken on the table, restrained but also quiet, somewhat defeated and accepting her fate.

"Lanky, it's me, Heracor."

"Why have you done this to me...I deserve to die. I heard the Sister telling me what I really am. No matter what I do I will never be good enough for the Emperor..."
(1/2)
>>
>>38314034
Some body parts in a tray, a note that the subject did not have a long lifespan and was incinerated after autopsy, and maybe he'll buy it.
>>
>>38314058
She then started crying. Lanky might have been a artificially created human programmed to kill but she somehow had a human soul. Somehow the Emperor blessed her with something that not even the most impressive technology of the Dark age was able to synthesize. Humanity.

"You are in no need to be fixed Lanky...well, your body does. You won't be able to survive much longer if I don't fix you up. Inquisitor Rodan will only keep you alive long enough to get the Exterminatus permission Then he will kill you along with the rest of the prisoners of this dammed planet."

Her crying turned into a wheezing, it seemed that her dust filled lungs were on their verge and that the act of crying was only pushing and stressing them even more.

You grabbed and sneaked her into the Cathedrals operation room.

>Transform her totally into a servitor. It's the only way of being sure that she will not become corrupted.

Well she's a loyal fighter. Heracor could try to convince the Sister into making her become part of the Order. He could hack the registers and inscribe her as a guardswoman or teach her the way of the Omnissiah and turn her into his protegee.

Up to you really.
>>
>>38314369
For the immediate moment? Hide her, tell her to pray. Tell her to be strong for the Emperor and not let false ruinous gods define her fate.

>Remove her damaged internal organs and her tumors. Place an explosive collar to keep her controlled.

You put her to sleep with anesthesia, she cries herself to sleep probably thinking that she won't wake up again and that after death nothing but unbearable horrors will await for her in the other side.

Once she is limp you start cutting her torso and ribs, using his dendrite claws to open her up.

After puncturing her lungs you can see that their interior is black and covered in a tar like substance. You kept some of it for future analysis.

As you removed one organ you created the substitute and implanted it. It was a belief in your forge that bionics had to be implanted as soon as they were created so the machine spirit doesn't feels alone for a long time. This made some people implant himself metallic parts that were red hot or still electrically charged but the burns and scars were just a proof of zealotry to the machine god.

The lungs entered almost perfectly, she was way too tall and thin for them but she would end getting used to it.

Next thing to be removed was her stomach, it looked on the exterior like a normal stomach but her acid content was different, it didn't only got chemical energy from it but also genetic material to add to herself. It was most efficient when given blood.

You kept the stomach frozen for future study and changed it for one that was more efficient yet bulkier than the human one. She would look like if she was pregnant from a couple of months but looks aren't really important for you.

Exchanging the following organs and removing her tumors isn't hard either. After you are done you check your clock and see that five hours have passed. Just before she wakes up you stitch her and place an explosive collar around her frail neck.

The collar was originally designed for the penal legions that were going to be captured but since that objective became pretty much impossible to follow there were dozens available.
>>
>>38314634
Even if she was awake it would take her several hours to be completely aware of her surroundings.

You had about 20 hours before the expedition.

>Look at the bionics available.
You go back at the operation room and connect with the bionic database.

++\/\ Bionics Available \/\++

>-Stomachial Biotransformer:
Replaces his stomach and most part of the digestive system with a electrochemical substitute. He will be able to survive and feed himself of any usable power. This bionic doesn't means he will not need to eat anymore; it will just feed him enough to stay alive. He is unable to starve but will start losing fat and muscle if not feed with solid food.

>-Non-newtonian stable synthskin:
A dark skin that is grafted above your original dermis and bionics. It is able to stop solid impacts like bullets and blunt weapons to some degree. It doesn't stops blades, acids or chemicals, laser, plasma or fire.

If damaged it repairs slowly. Some people will dislike your inhuman appearance. It can be upgraded to look more realistic or be more protective.

>-Proxy Drone:
A tool that lets the user transform any undamaged, untainted and unmutated human skull into a small drone if the materials around are available. The drone can be controlled by the user or any other person if the permits are changed.

The drone has the ability to magnetically attach itself to any imperial vehicle and control it for a period of five minutes unless there is any pilot inside who is controlling it beforehand. After that period of time the servoskull will explode so it’s advisable to detach it and fly it away so its radius doesn't affects the integrity of the vehicle.

It can be mag-locked into enemy vehicles but due to the xenos interfaces and the lack of proper machine spirits those cannot be controlled. It might be used to sabotage enemy transports.

It has to be installed on a dendrite.

>-Personal Teleportation Unit:
Gives you the ability to make small warp jumps. Could go awry and teleport part of you inside a solid object.
(1/2)
>>
>>38314976
>-Omniception:
An advanced suite of esoteric artificial senses allowing them to perceive one or more variety of information well outside the human norm, including but not limited to psychic fields, data transmissions, unusual radiations, etc.

So i'm thinking getting
Biologis
Xenosbiologis
Xenologis
Specialist tools
and
Proxy drone

Sound good?
Fiddlekins if you are here save us! Use Spreadsheet!
>>
>>38315316
I'm not so sure about those specialist tools, what do the tools do, generally speaking?
>>
>>38314996
>>-EXTRA: Installation of Lanky's Stomach.
Sounds like heresy. This gets my vote.
>>
>>38315394
Help us with
Biology(necessary for the mutants we're working on)
Xenobiologis(Same thing but with aliens, figure it might help with he really screwed up mutants too.)
Xenologis(Helps us make sense of alien tech, so we can use the knowledge to make better stuff, and incorporate it into existing tech)
>>
>>38315431
Why? Not like we want to get anywhere close to melee, also eating people would make most non chaotic officers shoot us on sight.
>>
>>38315431
Seems like a bad idea. Plus, you'd need to be full-flesh to get the most out of it.
>>
>>38315456
Perfect.
>>
>>38315444
I'm all behind Xenologis, and maybe biology too, but I wouldn't want to specialize on biology too much.

On the other hand, i'm really curious about
Cybernetica
Extremis
Investigatus
and these sound kinda useful for us
Psykana
Physic
Mandati
Explorator
>>
So, what will it be then?
>>
>>38315316
Sounds good to me.
>>
>>38315514
What are the chances that we will have time later on for customizing?
>>
>>38315514
I vote for Specialist tools for
Explorator
Xenologis

and a Proxy.
>>
>>38315490
It'd be wasteful and stupid, no.

>>38315513
WE could drop Xenobiologis for those 3, they do sound useful. We're going to need more dendrites soon.

>>38315514
You gave us a lot of options and we're missing our fiddle. Please give us some time to discuss.

Xenologis, Biologis, and Investigatus are kind of musts right now. Anyway we could get more dendrites?
>>
>>38315558
This sounds like a reasonable enough start, for the time being.
>>
>>38315556
Well after the mission the protagonist might have time to upgrade himself even further, plus if we are heroic the Skitarius might let him access to even more bionics. What I showed you isn't the full list.
>>
>>38315579
To be honest i'm not entirely sure what the "tools" actually do, especially with the more esoteric ones. (what on Holy Terra do '''Internal Security''' tools do?)
>>
>>38315579
>we could get more dendrites?
He's having six right now, thats a pretty good amount of dendrites for a techpriest. In the future he might be able to have access to more of them.

>>38315629
My guess goes to know how to crypt and decrypt, maybe place and control cameras. Spy stuff.
>>
>>38315661
This question may have come up earlier, but will "recovery time" start immediately after the bionic is finished, or will it start after all the bionics are installed and we are back on our feet?
>>
Could we delay choosing what speciality tools we need until after the mission, except for the Explorator, which (I think) would be useful for the task at hand?
>>
>>38315775
Seems best that and proxy drone would be good.
>>
>>38315790
If we get those two, for sure, then we can talk about what else to get.

I would like to suggest the Omniception bionic.
>>
>>38315817
Yeah that might be a good one, we'll need a nametag though.
>>
So I'm just going to write a draft for a report. You guys tell me what you think.

>Prisoner Analysis Report.

Note: An inquisitor was also looking at the subjects, and may send his own report. Or not.

>Megaprison 01: Subjects where surgically altered, replacing limbs with mining tools and basic melee weapons. They have shrapnel embed into their bodies and explosives rigged to their hearts, wired to explode and scatter the shrapnel once their heart stops. Very violent and aggressive. No current method to remotely diffuse the bombs. Suggest engaging in ranged combat and try to prematurely detonate the explosives. May have a leader in their midst.

>Megaprison 02: Subjects are well equipped and may be considered civilized in a sense. Non-confrontational and hide in the tunnels known as the Crystalline Underdark. They consider themselves 'citizens' rather than prisoners due to also being descended form guards. Might be reasoned with and convinced to join a penal legion. It is at least a chance get off this planet. No known leader.

>Megaprison 03: Subjects are clones engineered to gain strength by feeding on human blood and flesh. Will use their own dead without hesitation, or even kill one another. *Had* a leader. The destruction of the prisoners and the cloning facility means it is very unlikely that more will be encountered.
>>
>>38315866
>Megaprison 04: Subjects suffer from multiple tumors across their bodies. They are stronger and tougher in some parts of their bodies, but weaker in others. They live on a diet of rats and fungi. They are very child-like, speak in simplified low gothic, and non-aggressive. Despite their default docility, it is possible they can be lead into aggression due to their simple minds. They are confirmed to have a leader. They should be easy to outwit and outmaneuver however. One of the subjects states having seen a robed figure like a techpriest emerge from the underdark tunnels.

>Megaprison 05: Regretfully there was no information or subjects to study.

>Purgatory [FOR THE EYES OF COMMISSARS OR HIGHER ONLY]: Space Marine prison. Chaplains and Techmarines are confirmed to have been sent there. It is likely they will not have their equipment, but prisoners would still be very dangerous. A Marine confined to a cell outside purgatory has requested a chance to help take back the prison, save his atoning brothers should they be alive and non-corrupted, and earn back the Emperor's favor. I leave this decision to my superior officers.

>Note: While it is still unconfirmed, there is rising evidence that a renegade techpriest is involved, possibly from one of the prisons. You are free to disreguard this as simple speculation, but I humbly suggest that you account for it as a precaution.

>-Heracor Nahive.
>>
>>38315884
Might want to compare the 04 prisoners to ogryns, it's apt enough. Big, strong, tough, loyal, peaceful unless riled up, very stupid.

But other than that I have nothing to add and no objections.
>>
>>38315884
Would we get BLAM'ed for that purgatory bit?
Would Oihan (or the higher ups) kill us for it?
Maybe we should consider trying to be a bit sneakier telling her... or something...

You call the free techpriests and give them the instruction of the operation. They soon and quickly create the bionics and proceed to install them all.

Your body is positioned lying down on a bed bunk as they start working with your back. It goes nicely as you don't even feel pain nor anything negative...it even gets boring after the few first hours.

All you can see are the feet of the working moving here and there, hear the sound of the drills and tools installing and working on your body.

From time to time one of those new tools gets correctly installed and its interface appears as a blinking light on your HUD.

You happily chant the litanies and songs with them as they continue working on.

When its all over you stand up and feel your back heavier but still not enough to make you fall on your back. All the tools have been correctly installed and are ready to be executed and used.

Your last hour is spent in polishing your armor and charging the powerpacks. Confident on yourself you start walking towards the meeting point with the lasgun in your back and the chainsword on your belt.

The train is waiting for the last people to enter. It carries two Omega Drills for our use and in total there is going to be two teams of six people.

As you seat and rest you fall asleep. Tomorrow is going to be another day.

That is going to be the last answer for today. Is already midnight for me and I'm sleepy already.

As always feel free to ask, critic and suggest things for the next chapters.

I would also like descriptions of this chapter for the archive.

I will be another 15 minutes around before archiving it.

As always thanks for playing.

Yes, but you will need to find a specialized Magos that can install them.

Thanks for running.
I'm guessing it would be advisable to have the reenforced spine to instal more dendrites.
