“Lets grab some dinner” you say, turning around and heading back to the islet. Just before you get there you spear your tentacles into the water, they return with dozens of fish held in them.

At the top of your structure there is a fire burning and by the time you and Rainya have walked up there the fish in your grasp have somehow been cleaned and deboned.

As the sun sets and the stars shine in the sky, complete with shooting stars and planets in the distance, you and Rainya enjoy a dinner of fish baked to perfection and fruits that taste of...whatever you want them to taste of. All around you are the hanging plants and flowers, some of them glowing slightly.

Some hours later the fire has burned down, leaving only embers and you’ve both eaten your fill, You are cuddled up together against the slightly chilly breeze as you watch shooting stars and moving planets overhead “I wish this night would never end” says Rainya with a melancholic sigh.

“That I can’t do” you say “not yet anyway.”

“Shee?” Asks Rainya, staring up at the sky

We don't really know for sure thats the case.
It hasn't ever been said a Avatar can't get other gods gifts, we just assume it works like that.

But its also possible a lot of Reunited don't realise they can get more, or they don't risk Shaping the other gifts.

What do people think about unlocking Photokinesis? The stuff you can do with it - up to 50% more miss chance, invisibility, illusions, fucking up Baalzi Reunited and shadow vamps - looks pretty damn good. Also the focus light peripheral looks pretty baller. Seems like it's fairly cheap to pump out some damage with it.

We just asked all of them instead.

Eventually you fold and *find* Rainyas clothes for her. She gets dressed and heads downstairs for a shower. You shower after Rainya, ignore Kaelyns smug grin and Liraels curious looks and then head downstairs and wander through your restaurant, thinking about what happened last night, a silly-looking grin on your face...

When Gambon and Tenley arrive you help them get the kitchen ready, might as well learn how your business works after all. As you work you ask them about fruit and vegetables.

“The most expensive plant we ever used, that was the Mathiup Orchid wasn’t it Tenley?” asks Gambon, Tenley nods, sharpening his knives “Must’ve cost 12,000 credits” says Gambon, Tenley interjects and Gambon says “ah yes, 10,000 because Tenley knows a guy. Anyway the Mathiup Orchid only grows on one planet, flowers every 17 years, produces fruit maybe one in 3 flowerings and dies in the smallest variation of its native conditions. But we only did that once didn’t we Tenley, now maybe once every few months we get a request for a Sosium Fruit salad – that’s a mixture of rare fruits, we sell one salad for 2,000 credits, and the fruit costs us around 1200...”

After talking with them and doing a little math in your head you figure you can cut the Waystations food costs by a third or so, and produce many of the specialist, expensive dishes for free.

“How about selling?” you ask casually “If I was able to grow Sosium Fruits for example, would people buy them?”

“Of course” says Gambon “but a decent expert can make fakes, they’d be thoroughly tested, and even if it were the real thing, some of the buyers would want to know how and where it was grown.”

“The Waystation buys these all the time” you say “surely it would be just us offloading excess we aren’t going to use, before it spoils.”
