Interlude: Infinite Possibilities

The locker closes with a slam after another argument, third one today. As you watch your pink haired friend’s retreating form, you lamet this sudden shift in her behavior and worry that things might finally be getting to her. Its very strange, you don’t think you’ve ever seen her mad before. Certainly you’ve seen her upset, but normally the smile never leaves her face.

With a sigh you hang your Teddy Bear backpack into your locker and draw forth your teddy bear gym bag. You are Moe Ueda, and you need to blow off some steam. Crossing the beautiful campus of Infinity Academy from the main academic wing and heading toward the athletic field and gymnasium, upset as you let the almost infectious anger that rolled off of your classmate get to you. Stomping your own way into the gym, you enter the locker room and switch up into your gym kit and a sweater. After your Teddy Bear bag is locked away, you head downstairs into the weight room. Normally its empty this day of the week, but to your surprise there are a few people gathered.

A small crowd was set around one of the heavy bags as a number of your school mates, guys and girls alike in their gym kits or sweats. They cheer, but through the din you can hear a staccato rhythm of heavy impacts.
>>
>>38108092

Throwing a still dry towel over your shoulder, you press through the crowd. You are a bit shorter, and that makes it difficult, but you find your way through and see impressive possibilities.

The new kid, the one who keeps a bear that you watched the Chiba girl spar with, is going to town on a heavy bag while wearing black warmups. An upper classman is holding the far side of the bag, egging and encouraging the smaller boy. You can see it in his eyes. He doesn’t hear it. He is too focused as he rains blows against the sandbag. You bite your lip, briefly, and ball your fist.

You don’t quite realize when, but you join in the mass cheering. Both for the impressive display and the infinite possibilities ahead.

Quest Start

Slumped against the leather of the bench across the back seat of your father’s large import sedan, you sigh and lean against the door while looking out the window. Staring up toward the afternoon sky, you stare at the passing street lamps and sigh. You spare a glance back across the bench to find your little sister asleep and leaning against you, and your friend Kairi reading a book sitting against other window.

Thoughts from earlier flicker across your mind, before the dissonance of the chaos you walked through in the hospital lobby after your discharge. Your eyes linger on Kairi for a moment longer as you cross your arms and then snap back toward your own window. Shoving that train of thought, and all the faces associated with it, down and out of your current concerns you drift to things you consider far more important and glance down at the white locket around your neck.

Your mother and father sit quietly in the front of the car, an uncertain tension between them. They probably don’t know that you know about your big sister’s upcoming departure. And they are probably tense about your mother’s own imminent...business trip.

You are Mikage Chiba, second year High School Student age 15, and you were once the Champion of Love and Justice known as Sailor Moon. The third Sailor Moon after your Mother and Older Sister, now the drooling blonde girl pressed up on your shoulder carries that mantle.

Two different sets of options.

Seek reassurance about Usa's timeline

She can't just vanish, right? Because that'd effectively destroy this timeline, too?

Good Question.
>>
Leaning back, you gently push your little sister up from where she leans in the middle seat. Carefully you lower her head into your lap. She mumbles in her sleep about something or other. The dopey smile on her face makes you imagine she is dreaming of something you don’t want to know about as she snuggles into your lap.

~Mom, Dad,~ you say gently as you absentmindedly stroke your baby sister’s hair.

“Yes honey?” your father spares you a glance in the rear view mirror from off to the side as your mother tries to turn around in her seat with comedic difficulty.

After sorting out nearly being choked by her seatbelt, she regards you from around the window side of her headrest.

~She can’t vanish...right?~ you ask carefully.

“Mikage?” your mother says gently, “Who can’t vani-”

~Usa-neechan,~ you finish quickly, ~Because of what happened. If she disappeared, would it make her entire timeline vanish too?~

Your mother goes a bit silent, then her expression shifts to a minor frustration. As though she is trying to sort something in her mind that is suddenly confusing and difficult.
>>
>>38109420

“If something happens to her in the present, her own timeline is already secure. It doesn’t quite work that way, Mikage-chan,” your father reassures calmly with his eyes still on the road, “What is happening to your sister right now is...her timeline isn’t destabilized because of it, just her,”

“I wanted to talk to you about it tonight,” your mother sighs as her expression relaxes; the specifics of quantum mechanics, alternate realities, and time travel being beyond her knowledge base, “but I guess she already had a talk with you about it,”

~Yes,~ you say quietly and thread your fingers into Koyomi’s pigtails while Kairi quirks an eyebrow, ~her and Tomoe Sensei,~

“She’ll be fine,” you mother reassures, “Usa won’t disappear. She just has to head back to the other side for a while,”

Koyomi murmurs under your touch as you continue to run your fingers over and through her hair, less for her comfort and more for your own.

I'm pretty sure they're right.

There's a paradox, but it's a mutual paradox. Mikage and Usa can't ever be quite the same person, and Usa is too deeply involved in Mikage's own past: If Usa were "not to be" all of a sudden, it'd mess up Mikage's own history to the point that she couldn't exist either.

So... I'm pretty confident that the Usa who is coming back is the same one who left.

Though the words of your mother and father normally serve as a balm to your ills, this time you cannot shake the uncertainty and worry...but you don’t voice the concern. You do lean forward and hug your younger sister’s head in your lap. After a moment, a hand is on your shoulder.

Looking up, you see Kairi looking at you, her arm extended. The comfort of a friend helps.

Soon after dropping Kairi off at her house, the four of you return home. Koyomi is as difficult to rouse as ever, your father winds up having to carry her in. Its impressive she fell so deeply asleep in the short ride home from the hospital...in the middle of the afternoon...when she had already been sleeping at the hospital. With a sigh, you kiss your still sleeping sister on the forehead as your father brings her up the stairs.

“Mikage-chan,” you mother queries giving you a quick hug as she steps into the kitchen, “Would you like a snack before I get to work on dinner?”

Hmm...aside from the chocolates you hadn’t actually eaten anything.

~Yes, please,~ you smile at your mother and follow her over into the kitchen.

Luna is there, in her human form cleaning some things up while little Diana is curled up on the kitchen table as a tiny ball of fuzz. She turns to your return with a smile before turning to your mother.

"I got your text and started the rice," she says before scooping up her sleeping child and granting you a hug, "Welcome home, Mikage,"

She leaves the two of you in the kitchen and your mother begins to flit about the things left out for her as you take a seat at the table. The rice is finished and he lets it cool while going through assorted jars of pickled plums, pickled vegetables, prepared salmon, and nori. With the aid of a clear bag to shape and fold, and thin pieces of seaweed to finish each piece, your mother produces an unexpectedly large plate of triangle shaped onigiri.

She sets the plate in the middle of the table between the two of you, she waits for you to take one as she takes a seat. Her packing hasn't always been the best, but this batch manages to hold together as you sample one. Each firm grain collapsing from the whole at the touch of your teeth and lips. Plum filling catches you in pleasant contrast to the slightly salted flavor of the rice.

Your mother has a few with you in silence. Neither of you making too large of a clearing in the plate until you feel pleasantly satisfied with the snack.

~Why'd you make so many?~ you ask curiously, ~Even with the two of us, I doubted we'd clear the plate so close to dinner,~

"A mother's intuition, Mikage," your mother smiles gently and reaches across the table to ruffle your extremely long hair, "Are you going to keep it this long? You've always tended toward shorter tails before?"

You feel mildly irritated at her sudden dodge, and you hand't given your new hair much thought.

~I'm not sure yet,~ you explain and duck out from beneath her ruffling, ~what about intuition?~
>>
>>38111971
She laughs to herself lightly. Seemingly enjoying getting back into the routine of a doting mother before she leaves the earth as part of a bid to secure greater safety for everyone she care for, yourself included.

"Well, you probably don't notice this sort of thing, since the routine was established while you were still locking yourself away," she begins, "but now is about when your little sister usually comes home from school. Unless she was meeting with friends, she's come straight in here for an afternoon snack,"

~yeah, but she wasn't in school today,~ you counter with some confusion.

"Wait for it," she half sings and glances up at the clock, before snatching one more rice ball for herself and holding it defensively.

A few quiet moments later, Koyomi does indeed drift through the kitchen archway. Her eyes are still closed as she stumbles to the table, mumbling, and takes a seat beside you. Sliding the plate toward herself and taking several rice balls to start.

"Mogu mogu mogu mogu," you imagine the onomatopoeia floating above her at the open mouth chewing noises she produces.

"When she was home sick, even while asleep, she's come to the kitchen for an afternoon snack. If there wasn't anything she'd make something and leave a huge mess in her wake," your mother explains while enjoying her final rice ball.

You...merely stare at your baby sister.

Leaning over, you decide you’d like one last rice ball before they vanish amid the near comical sounds your little sister makes while she sleep eats. Selecting a salmon ball from the rapidly emptying plate, you dart your hand back just in time as your sleeping sister snaps in your hand’s general direction.

You are drawn from the sudden shock by your mother’s earnest laughter. She’s covering her mouth demurely at the witnessed exchange and rises from her seat as you stare daggers at her for laughing. Returning from the counter, she produces another rice ball which you take readily and with sudden awe.

...you really were hungry after being down for a few days, you guess.

“Learned not to do that the hard way,” she smiles and sits down, a serious look of concern spreads across her face, “Are you feeling any better, baby?”

She's about to leave the planet and so is Usa...

~I’m getting there...but,~ you hang your head and all but swallow the last rice ball given to you whole, ~I screwed up, mom. I bit off more than I could chew and Usa has to pay the price for it. I’m not feeling so great about that…~

Your mother rises and walks around the table, wrapping her arms around you.

“You had no way of knowing what would happen,” she whispers.

~..I’m not. Not really,~ you say to her momentary confusion, ~Feeling better, I mean,~

She’s quiet, but holds you all the same. Your baby sister has stopped making eating noises as her plate is quite clean. Broadly, and ineffectually, she wipes the flecked grains of rice on her face away before rising and stumbling over into the living room.

Her embrace is comforting...but you can’t shake the feeling that everything around you is going to fall apart, and that its all your own fault. You can feel how worried your mother is. The terrible uncertainty behind her comforting warmth. Perhaps you’re digging for it, maybe even projecting it from your own worry and fears.

Its too much, you can feel your own tears welling up behind your eyes again before something cuts in, diffuses your own rising tension and the worry behind your mother.

-GURGLE-

~uh...can I have another rice ball,~ you say sheepishly before having two.

It helps. Even if you’re still hurting.

~So, when do you leave?~ you ask cautiously.

She sighs and takes up Koyomi’s empty seat beside you. Her hand never leaves your shoulder and she looks to the floor for a moment.

“We’re teleporting offworld Saturday night,” she explains, “I’ll be the last group to go. We’ll be preparing from the early afternoon and familiarizing ourselves with our teams,”

~So, tomorrow night is our last night together as a family for a while?~

She nods and sighs.

“Usa will hopefully be home tomorrow night and we’ll all have dinner together,” she says as you rest your head against her, “And by Monday, she should be well enough to make use of the Cherry Road to ensure her own recovery,”

~I promise, Mom,~ you press into her as her hand strokes your hair like you had done to Koyomi earlier. Tears finally break from your eyes, ~I’ll watch everyone while you’re gone. I promised I’d protect Koyomi...and I’ll do it too,~

Her arms wrap around your head. She keeps you close.

“You don’t have to protect her,” your mother explains softly “You can protect each other. Don’t make any promises, and I won’t make any either,”

She pushes you up to look into your eyes with a sad smile.

“Well, maybe one promise,” she looks over her shoulder to the living room before returning to meet your eyes, “I’ll always love all of you no matter where I am. That’s a promise,”

You hug your mother back tightly, and you choke back the tears you were on the edge of shedding. There are no more words you can find to say, so you exalt in this moment. It lasts a good and long while, breaking when your mother says she is going to start on dinner. Drifting into the living room, you wait a bit.

Its like you’re drifting, much like your sister was earlier.

After a few moments, you regains your senses and feel a weight in your hand. While you were out, it appears Zoisite and Kunzite were also out. Their slow process of waking seems to have begun.

Koyomi turns back and forth on the couch as your mother sings behind you in her usual more in depth cooking ritual.

Sitting next to your sister, she snuggles up next to you. Murmuring again about this or that, you could swear she said ‘Oh Yeon’ somewhere in there.

Usa is off the board. Mom and the elder Senshi are going off world. Someone got to the Gate of TIme and hurt it’s guardian. Things are beginning to stack against you. Resources and allies are being thinned.

From the outside, it doesn’t seem like that. Heroes exist and the world is being protected in force.

You think back to what you heard before this chapter of your life began. The day everything changed and you broke out of the dark.

You need to talk to Rin.

Thanks, /tg/ for a fun thread. Sorry I started so late, but I overslept.

Have a great night and if we're around tomorrow late morning I'll try for an Omake.

It's pretty true, the way I think of it is this.
Associates is for your parents
Bacherlors is for your job qualifications.
Master's is for your career
Doctorate is for you.
>>
>>38120224
That's fine, I accidentally wound up sleeping through most of the end.

But the next best thing to being in a thread is reading the aftermath, and it delivers.
>>
Also, while we may not have time for that holiday, if we get a few minutes, we need to at least read that hero quest rena.
>>
>>38121765
We really do. Well, we have tonight before dinner. Or in game Friday.

Should we figure out what we talk to Rin about?

Plot a feel good trip to the comic shop with Kairi as our Fujoshi self?

Screw it all and Dan around town for a few hours?
>>

Oh my. It's hard to say no to Dan... but I really wanna meet that fujoshi persona.

I don't think Usa being off the board is someone else's machinations. I think that was all us.

Omake: Its Not a Date, Of Course, No Question

You find your mother isn’t home yet, having just bid goodbye to your best friend after she woke up and was released from the hospital. Everything had been happening so fast...only for it to feel like your world came to a screeching halt when Mikage was out of action. You, Midori Mori, and Keiko Sugimoto had met a few times while she was still asleep. Together, you got as close as you could to Tokyo Tower to look things over, and the three of you then went to a place you remembered well.

At the time...you couldn’t go in. It was agreed that you would all wait for Mikage to wake up before trying again.

Your name is Kairi Osaka, and you need something to take your mind off of all of this.

Well, your mother isn’t home, and probably won’t be home in time for dinner. This leaves you, emboldened by the burdens Mikage lifted from your shoulders when she woke up, with the inclination to attempt an experiment. A social experiment. After chatting with Keiko and Midori last week about restarting your long dead love life, you had been made aware that a former junior of your’s was carrying an obvious torch for you. Knowing this, and wishing to pursue another young man who has caught your fancy, you feel exceptionally cunning.

Picking up the phone, you give a classmate a call.

“Hello, Ginja residence,” chimes a young and feminine voice.

“Hello, yes I was looking for Gai,” you say with some uncertainty, “This is Kairi Osaka,”

There is the brief sound of scuffling, three voices muffled by action. Accusatory tones and maniacal laughing bleed through the receiver. Soon, Gai’s calming voice hits your ear.

“Hello, Osaka-san, what can I do for you?” he says with a distant, if tired, smile.
>>
>>38128787

“I was wondering, Ginja-kun, if you were free to meet for dinner at the Jupiter Cafe,” you ask hopefully and with confidence.

It is imperative you do this before Mikage’s latest maintenance of your stability wears off. No telling how poor company you’ll be if you let yourself get caught back up in that lingering despair.

You hear voice cheering and jeering the young man on the other side of the phone on. Echoes of his real name, Estra, called in childish sing song voices. His voice joins them, it seems someone has placed a hand over the receiver, for a few quick exchanges.

“I think I can manage that,” he smiles, “What time would you like to meet?”

Selecting an appropriate time, you begin getting yourself ready. You’re still a bit of a mess, but the lack of the underlying stresses that caused that state begin to do wonders.

Your cunning plan is to have a dinner as friends with Gai Ginja, at the Cafe where Koito Kino works for his family. This isn’t a proper date, at least you aren’t treating it as such. You just want to know more about him, it isn’t all that often you get to be casual acquaintances or even friends with an alien. While there, you will guage Koito’s reaction. From there, you’ll figure out what you’ll do.

It momentarily worries you that you’ve spent too much time in Midori Mori’s and Keiko Sugimoto’s company. Their bad habits and talents of social engineering may have rubbed off on you.
>>
>>38128701
One of the bigger problems with parallel dimensional travel is that it is virtually impossible to tell whether you've returned to where you started, or just someplace so close as to be nigh indistinguishable.

The difference might be indistinguishable to the traveller, but someplace, somewhere is now missing a you.
>>
>>38128945

I am going to assure you that you are presently in your correct reality. Given that you did not directly physically interact with the portal, you are certainly not in another reality.

When you are no longer in your correct reality, I (or someone else) will go out of my(or their) way to ensure you know.

I take that omake and the earlier interlude as clues that a ridiculous love dodecahedron is forming instead of a triangle.

Also, I'm sad that we don't know this is going down. After all the heavy stuff going on and on the horizon, I think we could use some SoL shenanigans.

Wait...Terra & Striel can't not spy on this as it goes down.

By being there so she can gauge Mikage's reaction as well.
>>
>>38129836

But as who?

She already knows Red Eyes, Miki, and Dan. We were planning on introducing her to the Fujoshi...do we have a name for her yet?

What about the French Lit college girl?

I think the Fujoshi and the French Lit girl are the only ones we haven't seen yet.
>>
>>38129937
As Mikage. How can she judge how flustered/upset Mikage gets if Mikage is hiding as someone else?
>>

The fact she's hiding as someone else is probably rather telling in and of itself.

Speaking of which,

We've got the following guys in the cast that we've met at varying values.

Yeon
Yoshi
Sasha
Koito

Guys we know as players that exist and we haven't interacted with yet.

>Loud Guy in Keiko's fanclub.

I'd say there need to be more guys in the cast, but we're pretty bloated.
>>
>>38139160
Hotaru a[spoiler shit[/spoiler]
Kairi a best friend and probably a good match
Aiha a Cute. More info is needed.
Venus/Rei a too young!
Kanari aspitfire and totally my favorite but doesn't stand a chance

>>38139596
Yeon... who?

Yoshi Didn't Mikage apparently have a previous relationship with this guy?

Sasha is a shoe in.

Koito... is that I was once your fan guy?
>>
>>38139728
Err not Rei.. Rin. Damn names all being foreign.
>>
>>38139728
Yeon is the Crowne Arcade guy.
>>
>>38139728
I am completely behind tsundere kanari antics

Also I vote we try to love triangle with Gai and Kairi
>>
>>38139898
Kanari would be loads of fun.

Why Gai though? He's boring as hell.
>>
>>38139728
What is this too young business?
I suppose you're going to tell us that incest is off the table too?

I mean, as much as I'm for hard committing to One True Love, that's really not what Sailor Moon is about. Sailor Moon is about romancing the One True Love AND getting all of the bitches. We should be like Sailor Moon.
>>
>>38139950
Incest is creepy. I mean Koyomi's too damn young.. so you'd be going after Usa? That's just.. I.. well maybe it counts as masturbation? Still though..

Getting all the bitches is probably not on the table.
>>
>>38139994
Are you taking it off the table because it's impossible? Because I'm totally willing to attempt the impossible. Live the dream, or die trying.
>>
>>38139994
Usa X Mikage is Hotaru's wet dream.
>>
>>38140125
And now I'm imagining Helios bullying Hotaru about that being her fantasy. Because dreams.
>>
>>38140400
Well Usa is about to leave forever. We could make one night for Hotaru very speecccial~
>>
>>38140436

I don't think that would be good for Mikage's...everything.

I mean we want to avoid being compared to Usa. That begs comparison.
>>
>>38140400
I dunno, man. Hotaru's been bullied before. She wouldn't take that shit. And Helios wouldn't dish it out. He's a classy guy. Horse. Whatever.
>>
>>38140125
>>38140400
>>38140436
Oh. No thank you.
>>
Grasped at a muse.
>>
My theory is that Yoshi is the true match for her. All the classic signs are there. Knew each other when younger, her continuing to blow off his signs of caring as just him being the class rep, us knowing almost nothing about him, and her getting drawn into unrelated relationship shenanigans.
>>
>>38141585
we seem to really not like him now for some reason.
>>
>>38141585
How do
>Blowing off his signs of caring
>knowing nothing about him
Make him a match?

I mean technically anyone is a match we're the tiny people in her brain that can make her go this way and that but...
>>
>>38141906
It's a classic romance setup.
>>
>>38142014
In.. what way?

Someone ignores you and knows nothing about you.. sounds like a perfect strangers set up.
>>
>>38142172
Childhood friend and/or tutor, seems like a nice though serious young man, seems to care, currently residing in Mikage's blind spot as class rep.
And he has more history that is unknown to the viewers.

At this rate he is destined to be either major love interest later on, a serious BBEG, or both.
He's nice to his mother though, so I'm starting to doubt my earlier theories of BBEGdom. Oswald and Norman notwithstanding.
>>
>>38142617
Or... he's just that nice guy from class.
>>
>>38139994
How are Koyomi and Rin too young but Aiha and Kanari arent?

They're all the same age, one year younger than us. Venus is the only one younger than that.
>>
>>38143177
My brain refuses to register Koyomi and Rin as anything other than children. Rin probably due to low interaction. Koyomi due to well.. she's a lot like her mother.
>>
>>38139728
Yeon is the guy who works at the arcade. Koyomi thinks he's cute, she talks about him all the time.
>>
>>38143177
Koyomi, Aiha, and Kanari are in their last year of Junior High

Rin is the year before that.
>>
>>38143268
Ah well. I'm still shipping Sasha anyway.
>>
>>38143319
I don't really like Sasha...
>>
>>38143380
I don't believe he cares.

Omake: Psi vs Psi

There’s a letter in your shoe locker. A letter in your shoe locker. You weren't expecting a letter in your shoe locker! Glancing left and right, you look at your classmates. Good, none of them have noticed. Sliding it into your jacket pocket and retrieving your shoes you get on your way.

Past western brick layouts and the cathedral, you bid a cheerful goodbye to the mother superior as she tends a garden. Checking your pleated skirt and straightening it before leaving the grounds, you wait until you are a few blocks away from the school before opening the letter. You’re relatively certain that you won’t run into anyone here, from both experience and a minor bit of dowsing. Clubs will still be running for a bit longer.

The envelope is red. That means its a love letter, right? Carefully opening it, your school bag tucked between your arm and side, you find a simple white card.

Careful and now familiar handwriting asks if you’d like to play a game. Below that there is a simple map of squares and lines. Below that, a simple and concise signature. ‘Find me, Aiha’

Recognizing the arrangement of a few of the squares as the layout of your school buildings, you backtrack and orient yourself and the map to your facing. Your concentration on it is not disrupted as some of your schoolmates walk by.

“I don’t know why she was even on the grounds,” one girl complains, “Even if she was waiting for her friend, we’re a private school. Non Students can’t just waltz onto campus,”

You find a spot on the map you feel you should investigate. The fountain near the cathedral.

She is indeed there, facing the water and checking her watch every so often. The courtyard around the fountain is empty...neither the students or the sisters of your school are about.
>>
>>38144779

Its a nice surprise, seeing a friend after school, but you wonder why she wanted to play a dowsing game. Was she trying to interfere with your abilities using her own? Well, you can still sneak up on her. Dropping your bag to reduce the noise you’ll make on approach, you execute a quick and light footed sprint toward the taller blue haired girl’s back with intent to execute a surprise hug. For some reason you are immensely amused by Aiha’s surprised face.

Closing to the final approach, you pitch forward and spread your arms wide to catch her. From somewhere off to the side you hear a shout.

“STOP!”

Its too late. You are about to make impact, perhaps a bit more forceful than you intended to. The only thing left to stop you is your friend, who you think you’ve managed to start breaking out of her shell while you do the same. In this moment of perfect flight, you are happy.

Nothing is there to stop you. Her form is immaterial as you pass through it and it vanishes. Tipping over the edge of the fountain, you fall into the water face first.

Turning over and pulling soggy black hair from your face, you see Aiha running up to the fountain from the bushes near the Cathedral. She has the good sense to be embarrassed.

“Rin-chan! I’m so sorry. I didn’t think you’d fall for that,” she blushes and extends a hand to pull you from the water.

You are Rin Kumada, and at the moment you are soaking wet. Cold, and soaking wet. Regardless of those conditions, you begin to laugh.

end
>>
>>38144799
I see. You're going to ship everyone but Sasha to eliminate his rivals.
>>
>>38144836

To be fair, this one has been going on for a while now. And they could still just be really good friends, bonding over their unique abilities.

Aiha did make use of her ability to cast any spell in her potential purview to pull off that low level illusion.

It was an expenditure of Planet Power.

Its been a few days since she's had to use any.

Indeed.

Out of curiosity, how could the various Senshi abuse their Planet Power abilities for our amusement as the audience?

Its a matter of resource allocations.

How important is it that you succeed at this task?

Do you have lesser assets that would accomplish it?

Proper decision making. And Aiha said she wasn't expecting the decoy to trick her.

Nah. Sasha is just girly as hell. Hell in his own quest people confused him for a chick.

He's a reminder of our past selves. So we shove him away at every opportunity.

Now we're chasing after biker boys.
>>
>>38158681
So, it's because he's tough and dangerous while Yoshi is a dependable guy.

Huh.

Gai: the avantgard near future of Japanese culture. Stylistic ultramodern
Yoshi: traditional & dependable.
Sasha: the exotic foreigner, unusual.
>>
>>38158146
So he must become manlier!

>>
>>38171707
Before the in game weekend is up at least.

So, we know out school opens back up monday. And we expect a ton of intrigue and social stuff there Spiders everywhere where we can get back in touch with our class room cast.

Over this weekend, we need to Spy on Kairi's date once we learn its happening, Read our comic, Talk to Sasha, Investigate Magician's lair, Say goodbye to Mom for her trip, Probably say good bye to Usa as she goes back...TO THE FUTURE! And do things like explore our middle school backstory.
>>
>>38172362
Was there anything left to investigate at Magician's lair? Might be useful in a 'confront your trauma' sort of way though.
As far as investigating areas, There are a more Nodes in the immediate area to locate and secure.

Also need to chat with Luna, and maybe Artemis too, regarding going about getting the Golden Crystal repaired without a serious traumatic event. Also ask about gear (a conversation we'd been talking about having since the first time we went out as Eclipse.)

Also touch base with the Primroses, perhaps through Lurk, since we've added their school to Red Eyes' turf, may as well familiar ourselves more.
And maybe discuss that I-was-turned-into-a-monster support group idea with Kairi. She and others could probably use the extra support.
>>
>>38173068

I cant imagine that there was much evidence overlooked.

Trauma for Mikage and for Kairi.

It is to be assumed that everyone is omnisexual, unless confirmed dead.

We did follow through on our deal with the Primroses, which means their turf belongs to the Beast now. We should put in the effort to make that known. But first, we really, really need to get into the fujoshi mask and teach Kairi about BL. And maybe also Sasha.

How did I not see it earlier

It is so clear now.

Tempted to try and figure out an actual map of Red Eye's turf in the ward.

Something like this is what I'd imagine. Well... what I'd like to imagine. Red probably has a bit better idea of her own limits than I've got, what with acknowledging that she can only be so many places and has other shit to do as well. I'd just as soon have her go full time Batman until she sees something shiny that amuses me more.

I am not great at plans.

This is useful. For reasons.
>>

Mikage goes full batman on her new territory.

We have to contend with some thugs.

Fun is had.

Fun is good.

Fun is violence. I want to enact cathartic magical violence on hustlers and gangsters.

Heh, I've been waiting for people to be able to read the comic.

Given where we left off. I think I can set that up in next thread's OP.

Though, the when remains troublesome.

Also, how is this thread still up?
>>
>>38194707
a wizard did it
>>
>>38197081
Does this Wizard make monsters of the week?
>>
>>38199407
Not this week, sadly.
>>
>>38201107
That's unfortunate.

So, what monsters have we figured out are on our horizon from Artemis's vague ramblings?
>>
>>38202987
Shadow of an ignored/forgotten girl.
Spiders, man.
More Shadow Scientist.
Shadow-infected Pink-hair.
>>
>>38204773
All of the above, simultaneous. Beast mode.
>>
>>38204773
>>38205398
Also we may/may not somehow make shadow-infected pink-hair into a separate person.
>>
>>38207868

Don't forget we still have Jewel Thief and the Undead Neo Shintennou.
>>
>>38207868
I dont know if that can happen in Moon. Its much more trigger happy with killing bad guys than Precure.

On the plus side she might get to be actually Evil here. Swings and roundabouts.
