It's been a few weeks of tavelling through hyperspace, and the boy you picked up seems to be slightly improving.

Raditz might fight like a coward on instinct, but Teito has taken it as her responsibility to smack a fighter's spirit into him.

Risel, of course, urges her to go easier on him, but is promptly ignored, leaving her with the job of helping Raditz move about when Teito overworks him.

All the same, the boy is quiet and sullen, and doesn't talk much when he's not crying in pain, prone to staying in his room on his own for hours on end.

Teito floats past after one such training session, as the ship drifts somewhat aimlessly through space, she flips in the air, landing seamlessly in a chair next to you. "He's.... marginally improved." Is all she comments, as Raditz limps towards the showers. "So.... should we pick a destination, or..... just kinda drift about for a while?"

Risel slumps in the chair next to her, filing her fangs down slightly, "I fink.... we should drift abou' for a whi-ell." She comments.

Head towards a region away from where Cooler is currently expanding.
>>
You head to the navigation system, sifting through the list of non hostile planets nearby and punching in the co ordinates for one you pick at random.

The ship decellerates from hyperspace, as it pivots in the void, changing path, before accellerating once more towards a supposedly verdant planet.

You sit back down, tearing into a lunch that Risel prepared for everyone, before they wander off about the ship.

Teito heads towards the internal hangar, tying her hair back, probably going to tinker about with the pods. Risel flops on the couch, reading off the tablet you gifted her on the last planet you landed on, and Raditz leaves the showers, heading for his room on his own, clipping his armour back on.

You cast your eye over the three younger Saiyans, before

Three surviving female Saiyans have space adventures during the time between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. They're mostly drifting though there has been effort to find other suriving Saiyans. They have met some OCs as well as Broly and very recently Raditz. After taking pity on his sorry ass they falsify his death and took him aboard their ship. The MC is slightly older while the others are all teens who barely remember their home planet.
>>
>>38103518
Basically we are one of the new Sayins left. We are looking for more whilst avoiding being completely wiped out of existence. We've been getting buff as fuck, just learned the fusion dance and have taken Raditz in to our crew after kicking his ass.

We also briefly sent Brolly into a rage accidentally by stumbling over the word "carrots" which he of course heard as "Kakarot"

That is the very basic gist of it IIRC.

You're also forgetting that as the last few Saiyans, if we're found out by anyone affiliated with the PTO, there's a Kill On Sight order out for us.
Cooler, Frieza's brother, is in this region of unexplored space trying to carve out his own empire, and he can still squash us like insects if we get his attention.

In fact, this entire region has people who, while normally weaker than us, have a method of using force multipliers to wreck our shit if we're not careful.

Oh, and don't forget the pirate we pissed off by leaving her to fend off a monster by herself even after we promised to help her. She's still mad about that.
>>
You quickly stride across the cabin, grabbing Raditz by the shoulder. "I'm training now. And you're coming with me." You tug him towards the training room before he can object.

As you drag him through the doorway, he stumbles to his feet properly. "But... I already trained today! I'm beyond exhausted... this isn't a fair fight."

He's doesn't seem to be lying, he's trembling just from keeping himself upright in the increased gravity of the training room, his mane of hair hanging off his skull like a hunk of drooping metal.

Still, you did say you weren't going to go easy on him, that he had to be stronger if he wanted to stay on the crew...

You drop your offensive stance. "Alright, if you can't fight, then you'll learn to use your brain. Say you meet an enemy five times your power level on a planet with no moon. How do you go about beating them?"

He looks stunned but grateful that you aren't going to fight him, "I... uhhh, I dim my power, wait in the shadows, and wait to strike them at their weakest moment with all my power? Perhaps when they're asleep."

You nod, "Not a bad plan. Though if an enemy truly outclasses you by much more, you should probably run. Saiyan or no, there's only so many survivors left. You dying won't do our race any favours."

Raditz nods, struggling to curl his tail around his waist in the gravity. "Yes... Miss Kabuya."

"Miss?" You ask, having never heard the term.

"It's... an honourary. For women of higher position. Common in PTO courts these days." He mutters, "I can see why you wouldn't have heard of it.

You grunt, "Damn straight. Now, I know you're tired, but here's what I want you to do. I'm going to stand by the far wall, and you're going to pour all your energy into an energy attack, whatever you call it. Understood?"

He nods, as you drift to the far side of the room, before raising a struggling limb and bellowing, "CRUSH TUESDAY!"

A flat white wave of energy courses across the room.

You brace yourself, crossing your arms over your face and projecting a portion of ki forward to help defend against the attack.

It's not much. Even with Teito's training, it doesn't even shake you as float in the air, as Raditz leans over, hands on knees and panting.

"It could... be worse, for how tired you are." Raditz just nods, eyes on the floor.

"Can. I. Go. Now?" He asks, gasping between each word.

I'll second these sentiments:

>>38103959
>>38103969

We gotta get inside his head. If a bunch of regular Saiyans like the rest of the crew can gain power fairly quickly, it be some mental funk that's preventing him from giving it his all. Kinda like how Risel was subconsciously holding back until we found out how to motivate her to commit to an attack.
>>
>>38103898
When you are collapsed on the floor and unable to move on your own, then yes. Might break a few bones too, solidify resistance to pain. Don't worry, I won't kill you. Only other Saiyan male we've met is psychotic, no interest in going back there."
>>
>>38104013
Well if we think about it, they boy probably has an inferiority complex the size of a moon. The only other Saiyans he's been around have been the prodigy prince who was stronger than his father was when he was a child and a freaking general. Even if he had some potential he would be hard pressed to measure up to them. Then the only other Saiyans he meets are us and each of us blows him out of the water as well. To our knowledge he's the weakest Saiyan alive. He may also just have no talent though.
>>
>>38103898
"Don't you want to spend some alone time with me though? " Flutter eyelashes and look demure, "But seriously Raditz, are you in this funk because of my power? Dint be, i wasn't much stronger then you a tear ago, it took my digging in my heels and putting my heart into my actions, beyond training and fight, but all that i did."
>>
>>38104085

He just needs to find his motivation. His dad was pretty kickass as far as Kabu knows. And of course, he does a brother who turns out to be pretty kickass too. But I bet that he wouldn't have reached hose heights without the mentality he had. Just gotta crack the Raditz code and get him to commit to improving himself 100%.

>>38104187

Goku is a martial-arts autist. It's his hobby and his job alongside of eating and making friends. It's like some feedback loop that's stuck on the "on" position, since assholes keep threatening his friends and also providing him with fighting challenges.
>>
You pat him on the shoulder. "Alright. you did all you could. But when you're resting, I want you to think. Think about the difference between cowardice and self preservation." He looks up at you, nodding, "And when you're back to normal, I want to hear about what you've been doing before we picked you up. So start remembering."

He nods, "Y- I... Yes, Miss." He nods his head, before limping his way out of the room.

You turn back on the room, testing your limits. You can now move about the room almost as easily as in regular gravity, your limbs flowing with power.

While you have been getting steadily stronger, you begin to feel like the high gravity training is starting to give diminishing returns, as you reach the peak amount of training it can give you.

You run through an hours long regimen, feeling the sweat pour off you, your limbs never struggling once you flare your own power upwards.

You even get some time in practicing aimed ki shots at dummies you threw together from scrap metal, slamming into each one. Satisfied that you've gotten all you can out of it today, you leave the training room, towelling off and leaving your armour for the Shamoians to clean. They snatch it up, scurrying away to the laundry to polish it, as you wonder about in your skintight, cramming yourself with food again and slaking your thirst. You take a moment to check your power level on your scouter, interested to see it only rose 1000 or so, leaving you sitting at 13,766

The blur of stars out the forward window is strangely hypnotic for a moment, before you turn, finding Risel typing something in her reader now, and Teito heading for the hangar again, stained with mechanical oil and lugging the scrap of your dummies with her.

We should set aside a day and tell him he won't be walking out of the gravity chamber under his own power and just run him to his absolute limit. We can be nice and give him a breather before hand or something if we want. But we need to push him harder than he's been pushed before.

>>38104338
Sure and while we're at it we should think about how in the world we're going to catch up to and surpass the Autistic Wonder that is Brolly. If we're going to aim high, may as well aim for the highest point we're capable of.
>>
You collapse into the seat next to Risel, relaxing back into it for a moment, before nudging her with your boot. "What are you doing there then?"

"Hmm?" Risel turns, before waving the reader around a little. "I figured I'd start a log of everything we've done. When we topple Frieza, everyone can know the legacy of the Saiyan women." She hands it to you as you slowly page through it.

Reading's never been your strong point, but she seems to have included a lot of major points, starting with the destruction of Planet Vegeta, continuing on with a list of the many planet's you've devastated looking for survivors, significant opponents the three of you have defeated. It ends just before the trip to Planet Arlia.

"Hmm." You comment, "You managed to get that typed up pretty fast."

Risel just shrugs and blushes, "I think that your training helped with that. When I got stronger and faster, it helps me type."

"Good work sweetie. But I want you to make sure it can be destroyed easily and quickly. If our ship gets taken over, I don't want a log of our past just lying around." She nods, tapping a few more buttons. "In the meantime... perhaps you can put that big brain of yours to solving something for me?"

Risel looks excited at that, so rarely do you give her a job that tests her intellect. "Oooh, what is it?"

"I want you to go over our battles on Planet Arlia. Despite any lack of training on the planet, we all received a huge jump in power after fighting Kew." You run your tongue over your fang, recalling the taste of Arlian flesh. "I want you to see if you can figure out why that happened."

Risel snaps her hand up in a salute, "Yes, Kabu!" She closes the log and connects to the outernet, rapidly typing away now.

"Thanks Risel, I appreciate it." You mumble, leaning over and kissing her on the forehead.

"So.. what do you think of Raditz then?" You ask, starting to stand.

Risel tilts her head, humming as she considers. "He's kind of grumpy... but I don't think he's a bad guy. He reminds me of me, he even has Teito walking all over him like she used to do with me as well."

You hadn't thought of that. You're just glad that Risel isn't following him around like a love sick pup, like she had done with Broly.

"Hmmm. Well, just don't let her push him around unreasonably. Alright?" Risel nods, before turning back to her reader, as you head for the small hangar.

"Teito, what are you up to back here?" You call, as the scent of hastily filtered out smoke fills your nostrils.

She pokes her head up over one of the pods, "Oh, hey." She disappears back down, before coming around it, holding something out in front of her. "I salvaged some scrap from the ships that was out dated." You look down at the girl, holding a small device out in her hands. "On planet Hera, they call them hair straighteners. Risel told me about them."

You raise a brow at that, running your eyes over the oil covered girl, wiping her brow. "And what's it for?" You ask

Teito kicks absently at the floor. "I... thought I'd try and do my hair a bit nicer. It's all..." She gestures at it, clumped in dust, grease and
sticking out in wild bunches, as she lowers her eyes. "Well, you know. Figured I'd... I dunno. It's stupid. I'll get rid of it."

>>
>>38105220

A device that could change Saiyan hairstyles? Why would you get rid of something like that? It must truly be a modern miracle of science if this is true.

Besides, looking good is an important part of being powerful. If you're oppressing a planet's population or getting avenging your fallen race, might as well look good when doing it.
>>
>>38105220

"Girl, don't call what you want stupid. You're too smart to want dumb things. Try it out, maybe you'll like the result"
>>
>>38105266

Maybe Risel can get on this too. She's studied a lot of other cultures and is into a lot of non-Saiyan junk, she might have read up on hairstyles and styling and stuff. But only after she's done analyzing, this hair-styling thing might eat up all of her free time if she really gets into it.
>>
>>38105255

A saiyan's hair only grows stronger as it becomes more damaged! Which might actually explain why the girls have had such a hard time of changing their hairstyles in the past.
>>
You snatch it from her grip before it breaks. "I'm not going to let you break it after you spent so much time putting it together. Besides, there's nothing wrong with wanting to look good, as long as it doesn't get in the way of your training, I don't see why you shouldn't treat yourself like this."

Teito registers your words, a small smile creeping across her face. "Yeah... thanks Kabu, you're right." I'm going to go clean off, and then I'm gonna give it a shot." She holds out her hand for it, as you pass it to her. "It's a nifty design that Risel found me. Let's the user channel their ki into it for heating, so I won't drain from the ship."

"Impressive." You agree, "Herans might be be savage mauraders, but they do know how to make a solid piece of technology."

Teito leaps forward, wrapping a hug around your shoulders, before prancing off towards the showers, as you follow her back to the main cabin, you hear the showers squeaking on, noticing that you yourself still have the mild smell of sweat about you. Then again, unlike the girls, you like the smell.

Across the cabin, you spot Raditz, bent over and looking through the fridge, as Risel chats quietly with the Shamoians.

Good Kais, you'd forgotten how feral Saiyan men got when they eat. Even Broly was more well mannered than this boy, and he was a freak. The again, Paragus never was a typical man.

Eventually Raditz belches, wiping his mouth and looking to you. "Yes?"

"Well, Raditz, I think it's time we had that discussion. Tell me about working for Frieza."

He nods. "As a child, I was assigned as a bodyguard to the Prince in our youths. We were off Planet Vegeta, when the meteor storm tore it apart, so the Prince and General Nappa, they decided just to keep me around."

You suck your teeth, processing this. "And how did you come to work for Frieza then? From what I heard of the prince, he wasn't one to lick boots."

Raditz picks his words carefully "Vegeta.... he knows that Frieza could crush him. He doesn't admit it, not even to himself. But Frieza terrifies him, despite how much stronger he is than any of us."

You nod, steepling your fingers and resting on them, staring at the boy intently. "And what kind of work did he have you doing?"

Raditz shrugs, "Grunt work. Conquering planets that he didn't want to bother Cui, Zarbon or Dadoria with. Frieza liked to mock us, saying how slow we were, in comparison to the others." His fists clench on top of the table. "Damn it, I just wanna kill that smug prick!" He nods slowly, "Tell me! What the HFIL happened?"

An image of the planet surface cracking under that enourmous red ball of power flashes behind your eyes, but you set your mind on the conversation.

"Raditz... Frieza blew up Planet Vegeta. There was no meteor storm. The girls and I barely escaped the surface. We still heard the screaming from the air."

Raditz has frozen. "I.... that..... Frieza?" He gulps, before a flash of rage crosses his face. For a brief second, you feel his power soar, even without your scouter, his raw energy sending the table toppling away, even knocking you out of your chair.

You catch yourself in the air, as Risel looks up, dashing over to you instantly. "R-RaditZ?" She stammers

As soon as it had came, the boy settles, blinking and looking about him, "I... sorry." He bends, picking everything back up again, quickly setting the chairs and tables back into place, "I don't know what that was...." he mutters, picking up shards of broken plates.

You step forward, sitting again, "I'll tell you what that was. It was the first time you time you properly impressed me. But maybe next time save the 'impressing' for training. Or a fight. Whichever comes first."

He chews the inside of his mouth slowly, before nodding. "I'll try. But I have no idea what I did."

Risel takes a seat now as well. "Raditz.... you said you didn't know where the Prince or Nappa were, right?" He nods, "Well, do you know of any other survivors? Family perhaps?"

Raditz considers this for a second, "As far as I know... my father and mother are dead. My brother was balled up and thrown into the depths of space, to take over some backwoods planet."

Risel jumps at that. "Well, we're pretty far out now... do you think it could be somewhere near here?"

Raditz clears his throat, "No. I don't know what planet it even was. Just that it was some minor planet of weaklings. The average adult has power level of 7."

You hear Teito laugh, as she strolls up behind you, taking the last seat, and flicking her long, straightened locks over her shoulders, with a dramatic flair. "7? Sounds like you could take the planet out by dropping a rock on them from orbit."

Raditz nods. "A pitiful place, for sure.... Where ever it is."

"Well then. What were your parents' names.

Raditz looks a bit embarressed. "My mother was a meat chopper, by the name of Gine.... my father was... Bardock."

Your eyes open at that. "THE Bardock? The exceptional low class warrior? Conqueror of Kannassa?"

Raditz shifts uncomfortably. "Yes that one. Yes I know it's funny that I turned out with my power level when I was Bardock's kid. I've heard it all before from Nappa and Vegeta."

You shake your head, "No, it's not that. Bardock was the one who warned us about Frieza coming. Most people ignored him, but my friends and I, we listened. It's because of him that the three of us are alive."

Raditz looks up at that, a small smile breaking through his usual scowl. "Really? Father knew what was coming? Then he might still be...." You shake your head. You'd seen the blood soaked warrior, facing down Frieza. It was not a pretty end. "Oh.."

"Welllllllll, what about your brother, do you know his name?" Risel prods, her reader at the ready.

Raditz nods again, "Mother called the day of his birth, before he was sent off. His name was Kakarot."

Risel and Teito freeze at that, each looking to you. "Ka-kakarot? You're sure?" Teito asks.

Raditz looks between the three of you, confusion writ plain across his face.

"Yeah... so there's a half-psychotic uber-Saiyan out there. Paragus' son. He apparently hates your brother so much he flipped his shit when he heard the word "Carrot"."
>>
>>38107544
"Yeah. I don't know how, but somehow, your brother managed to piss of another Saiyan by the name of Broly, Paragus' son. Kid's got a powerlevel higher than ours put together, and mentioning your brother's name makes him go on a rampage with no moon."
>>
>>38107544
Just spill the beans about Broly

no point keeping it from him, hell, he may be able to shed light on the situation

"Why does your brother's name send a powerful, unstable saiyan into a rage? When would your brother even meet Broly if he was a baby when he was sent off to space?"
>>
>>38107544
We had a rough encounter with Paragus' son before we met you. Went crazy just at the mention of something resembling Kakarot, nearly wrecked the ship with his aura alone. Your brother must've done something fierce to piss him off like that.
>>
"A few weeks back, we ran into a psychotic uber Saiyan, going by the name of Broly. Have you heard of him?" Raditz shakes his head. "Essentially, the rumour on Vegeta said that Paragus' son was born so freakishly powerful that the King ordered his father, Paragus, to kill the child. And for some reason, mentioning your brother's name sent him into a rampage so strong his aura shook the planet."

Raditz eyes widen at that. "Mother said... that Kakarot cried for days on end in the nursery. That he never shut up, despite how much anyone called him or tried to calm him. She said she felt bad for the wonder child that was in the crib next to his....."

"You think that listening to your brother cry... as a baby, drove him crazy?" Teito sounds doubtful. "That sounds... kinda dumb."

"Well, he was probably never a stable child to begin with." You add, "Not after being raised by Paragus. Man was a loon."

Raditz shifts in his chair, "Would... Might he know where I could find him? My brother?"

"I don't think your brother would be alive if that freak knew where he was." Teito mutters under her breath.

"No, but maybe his this Paragus man does?" Risel offers up, looking to you. We do still have the number to call them?" Risel looks to you as she offers her plan.

"Unlikely, Risel. Paragus isn't just a madman, but a mad scientist. If he knew where there was another Saiyan test subject for him to experiment on, he'd be there already. And if he doesn't know, it'd be best to not let him find out.
"Instead, let's try asking around the region, see if there's a planet that matches the description."

You shake your head, "Not likely. Paragus wasn't just a madman, but a mad scientist as well. If he knew where to find another Saiyan test subject, he'd have the boy by now. And if he doesn't know, I'd like to keep it that way."

Risel looks back down at her reader, backspacing something out. "Well then... the best suggestion I have is to ask around for a plenet that matches that description." She shrugs, "I'm sorry Raditz, but we have no other leads."

He nods, his smile twisting sourly. "Well. When are we reaching our destination? Do we even know the name of the place?"

Teito jumps, floating over to the nav computer. "Little place, going by the name of....... Tricon? Strange name. We should be there in an hour or so actually. The natives seem pretty strong actually. Scanners can't get a good lock, but the average seems to be in the 25,000 area."

Everyone gulps collectively at that. The four of you combined barely top that.

"A race of Saiyan looking people, but with no tails and third eyes in the centre of their heads." Teito reads out, "I dunno, do you guys think we should land?"

"Fusion?" Raditz queries.

"We'll explain it later." You wave him off, "Everyone go get cleaned up. If they don't attack us, I want you three looking presentable."

Teito barks at the Shamoians, who come scurrying out of the laundry, where they spend most of their time these days, after you set up some small beds for them there. "Clean my armour before we land, it's covered in oil." She frowns at her skintight as well. "Ah HFIL, so's this too. Clean it as well."

She starts peeling it off, and you can practically hear Raditz's muscles screaming with restraint, as he continues looking out the view port with you, the tip of his nose going ever so slightly pink.

He clears his throat. "Doesn't she, uhhh- change in her bedroom?" He asks, stumbling over his words, as you see the naked girl casually stroll across the cabin, before finally heading for her bedroom.

You can't help but smirk a little at his obvious discomfort.

You grin, "Good. Now, you take over the landing, I need to get cleaned up too."

You head to the showers, finally cleaning off from your workout, and towelling off, thankfully, your armours still spotless, as you re enter, finding Raditz hailing a docking officer.

"-'re an unkown vessel, why should we just let you land?"

"Because.... we come in peace?" Raditz offers hopefully, talking to the three eyed man.

You brush him aside, "Greetings, I'm the captain of this vessel, I assure you, we mean no harm to you."

The bald man grunts, "All right. You can land. But any funny business, and you'll be kicked off the planet in a second. Not to mention, you'll never see again. I hear the Solar Flare has a nasty kick to races with narrower eyes."

He smirks, before the call cuts out. "That guy didn't seem very nice." Risel pouts, "But I am interested in this 'Solar Flare'. Maybe we can learn that too?"

Raditz takes the ship down to dock, as Teito finally emerges in her shining fresh armour.

The Shamoian gulps loudly, but bows at the waist, stooping to your knee height."Th-th-thank you misstress, we greatly appreciate it, a-and would never conspire against you."

Everyone disembarks this time, as a three eyed man meets you at the base of the ramp. "Names, age and home planet?"

You all lie of course, as you nudge Raditz to play along. You tell him your all natives of Planet Shirt, stopping by on a galactic holiday.

He nods, third eye narrowing slightly. "Enjoy your trip to Planet Triclops, DON'T cause trouble." He adds.

Outside the port, the three younger Saiyans start to split up. Raditz is going to ask for information on his brother, Risel wants to ask about a place to learn the Solar Flare, and Teito wants to pick up some more supplies for the ship. The young Shamoian just walks the elderly one to a nearby park, where they sit enjoying the sunlight.

That reminds me Chuckles, since we'll probably never end up meeting him, which fate did you use for Bardock? The Bardock Special where he goes back in time and goes SSJ, or the Dragonball Online/Xenoverse one where Miira pulled him out of time just before he died and brainwashed him to fight for her until Time Patrol Trunks and his allies broke his Brainwashing and joined them?
>>
You wave them goodbye, asking at the ports information booth for information on anywhere you can spar with the natives.

The bald woman pulls up a city map, pointing you to a place called the Twoi Arena. You decide to walk, slowly building up your energy as you approach, actually enjoying the peace of the city, Triclops walk past and fly past, chatting among themselves, some sort of local birds are singing and the sky is a soft pink.

The 'arena' is a humble looking building, an open aired dome, you stroll in through the front doors, and out into a small garden, where you see several warriors milling about, some sparring, some meditating, others wrapped up in coversation.

You spot quite a few that look like reasonable opponents. A tall woman, who's power level sits currently at 15,000, a large obscenely muscled man without a shirt, who's power clocks in at 20,0000 and a teen who has the appearance of being frail, but according to your scouter, and the way she's taking down a much larger foe, her power sits at 30,000.

You scratch your chin, wondering who to take on.

She's just a bit stronger than us, roughly 10%. That's enough to give her an edge and for us to practice our hand to hand stuff without getting roflstomped. It's official. Saiyans gain power after they recover from gracious injuries, the name given to that ability is called "zenkai". Vegeta and Goku use it to great effect in the Frieza saga, where the effects are especially profound and visible.
>>
>>38110733
More or less canon, as an excuse to constant have another crisis or some shit like that. Dragonball had a better story.
>>
>>38110801
I think Vegeta even had a hole blasted through him just so he would be healed and come back stronger.
>>
>>38110801
It's not really limited to saiyans, either after Frieza. How else do you explain the jobber characters getting to 100k?
>>
>>38110873
Yeah, Vegeta was channeling Xanatos in that arc, out made things extremely entertaining.
>>
>>38110900
Power ups through those means are just more pronounced in Saiyans. Goku went from barely above Ginyu to Frieza levels after he got thrashed. His other human friends just trained really hard after getting thrashed.
>>
You stroll up to the huge triclops, clearing your throat to get his attention, as he finishes defeating a smaller opponent. "Hey, you! You wanna fight an alien?"

His third eye swivels to look at you, squinting, while he keeps his two lower eyes on his downed opponent. "That depends." He growls, "Is this pansy gonna give up?" He asks, placing a bare foot on his foe's back as he starts to rise.

The opponent accepts defeat, laying flat on the floor, and pressing his own forehead to the floor. Must be a local thing, you figure.

He eyes you up and down in evaluation. "Alright freak. I'll take you on. Main arena, follow me."

You raise a brow at that, "Freak?" You ask, haughtily.

He lets out a bellowing laugh, "Yeah, Kais you're ugly! Only two eyes after all. And all that hair!" He shudders mockingly. "You're an unsightly beast." He jumps up to a raised platform, and you follow suit, as a small crowd forms.

An announcer steps up. "Our match will be fought until surrender or loss of consciousness. On one side is Diol, a master of the Shenhol clan, annnnd on the other, we have.... uhhh?"

"Lietal." You shrug, giving the same false name from the dock.

"Lietal! From parts unknown! Let the match... BEGIN!"

The man circles you, grinning. "This should be fun!"

"For me at least." You drop into an offensive stance, turning on the spot to follow him, but he refuses to make the first move, no matter how many times you feint an attack he doesn't react, so you go for it.

You feint left before swinging a leaping kick at his ribs. Your blow connects with a sharp sound, and the Triclops slides to your left along the arena floor, wincing in pain, before he uses his position to slam an elbow into your exposed face.

The blow sends you reeling. You almost fall flat on your back, but manage to turn it into a flip, jumping out of it to land smoothly on your feet, grinning through the pain of the blow. He was right, this is fun.

He rushes you this time, driving an open palm at your face, which you sway out of the way for, only for his other balled fist to slam into your shoulder. You hiss, but manage to grip onto his arm before the blow distances you from him, shifting into him, you grab his bicep, before slamming your legs upwards, driving the point of your boot into his chin, before transitioning the kick into a jumping arm bar, using his loss of balance to drive his face into the floor, before holding leaping away from him, as he tries to roll and slam his other fist into you.

He leaps to his feet again, his smile more genuine this time. "Huh, more than I expected for an off worlder." He spits a gob of blood off the arena, you think you saw a tooth in it. "Not bad, I've never seen that last move before."

"You're not bad either, but you've seen nothing yet!" You brag.

The force of the blow knocks you into the air, only for him to immediately leap up after you, punching you in the face, then slamming you back to the ground with an elbow to your spine.

You feel the air rush out of yo, but instinct screams at you to roll out of the way. As you move, air rushing back into your lungs, Diols' foot slams into the ground where you had been, kicking up a cloud of dust, as the stone powderises.

You close your eyes, taking advantage of his blindness, you deliver a series of lightning fast blows to his side, before ducking around his back and hitting him in the other side.

You move to deliver a crushing kick only for an arm to grab your leg mid arc, freezing it in place.

That can't be right, you can see both of his arms out in front of him as the dust clears.

Seconds later, you're hurled across the arena, soaring off the raised platform and smashing cruelly into the steel walls, upside down and nearly embedded in the wall, you see his secret.

He's grown two extra arms up out of his shoulder blades, as he stands now in a low stance, all four arms outstretched now, he waves one palm at you, inviting a counter attack.

"A true fighter uses their full arsenal. And something tells me you're holding back." He shouts, his skin reddening.

You tug yourself out of the wall with a screech of steel, pushing off to the arena again in one movement.

That's why you combo it with Solar Flare.
Instant kill everything that can't regenerate.
>>
You aim your hands at the floor, powderising it in front of you, as Diol charges. You can see his shape still coming through the dust however.

You leap to his right, gathering power for a energy wave.

You cup your hands overhead, feeling the ki flow upwards and into your palms, whirring as it manifests, growing in strength.

The dust clears, just in time for you to see the surprise on his face, as you stand just a few feet from him.

And then you bring your palms downwards in front of you, unleashing the built up energy at him, with a roar of "Kabuya KANNON!"

It slams into his chest before he gets the chance to block, pushing him off the arena in turn and crashing him into a far wall.

As the wave dissipates, you feel depleted in ki, but, on the far wall, you see the Triclops warrior fall off the wall, collapsing to the floor.

You walk over to the lip of the arena closest to him, peering down. He stares up at you, with something akin to respect.

"I.... submit." He announces, before pressing his forehead to the ground, before gritting his teeth as he tries to stand upright. "Well fought, for a freak like yourself." He adds, extending an open palm to you. "Congratulations."

I actually kinda like it.

"YOu fought well too, almost had me there. Nice techniques, who taught you this stuff ?"

>Help him up and clutch hands together masculinely for a bit.

>What do?

Shake his hand, help him up if he needs it. That could have easily gone the other way really quickly.
>>
>>38112374
Thank him for the fight. He was a good opponent. Ask about techniques.

"For a four-armed gorilla, you're not too shabby. By the way, that thing where you grew extra arms was pretty freaking cool."

"How'd you do it?"
>>
>>38112374
Shake his hand. "And for a three-eyed, four-armed alien, you're not so bad yourself."
Ask if there's a decent place to learn techniques, and ask about the boy back at the sparring grounds.
>>
You clasp his hand firmly, pulling him back up to the arena. "And for a three eyed, four armed gorilla, you aren't terrible yourself."

He laughs at that, as his second pair of arms vanishes from sight. "Ah, the monkey has some spunk in her still." He turns to the crowd, "Give it up for the winner then, ya bastards!"

The crowd cheers a little uncertainly, shocked that Diol lost apparently."

You nudge him in the side. "I take it you're well versed in the kind of techniques you can learn here then?"

He shrugs, "More of a brawler myself, but as you can see, I can pull off a nasty Four Witches." You stare at him blankly, until he relents and gives you the information, "It's how we project our extra arms. Though if you want to learn it, I'm not sure you even could. Never heard of a non Triclops pulling it off."

You grunt, "We'll see, what about this Solar Flare?"

He shakes his head, "Can't help ya there. I never bothered with it, only a coward spars a blind opponent."

>I want to try this four witches technique
>Find me someone who can teach me Solar Flare

That wasn't that hard, let's take on the child. We grow with the challenge.

"I want to try this Four Witches technique then." You tell him, moving to stand in front of him.

He shakes his head. "Ahhh, new comers and aliens. You all think you can master it in an afternoon, don't you?"

You stare into his eyes, determination burning behind yours. "Tell you what, big boy? If I pull this off today, you buy a round in the best bar on this planet. If I don't I buy."

He laughs at that, "Free beer? I'm not going to say no to that." He smiles down at you. "Then again... they do say that you Saiyans are fast learners."

Just the three of us.

There's gonna be more if we have anything to say about it!
>>
Considering Tien was the only one to master four arms in Dragonball this might be just a racial thing, like basketball.
>>
>>38113547

We might learn something valuable along the way. Maybe we'll learn some sort of limb regeneration or another ki technique. Or how to properly project one's voice when screaming during powerup sequences.

Thanks for the thread!
